  1. Discussed and clarified here: https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/topic/173419-buy-a-house-on-pro-with-buyable-add-on-facilities/ Locked o/
  2. With all due respect, not a single one of the points you forwarded is a solution for any of the issues forwarded above but you just mention things and claim they are easy or doable while lacking the knowledge about that specific topic. It just also look you didn't read or misuunderstood as well a lot of things I said. This was clarified above already. If we make just 2-3 basic templates and therefore no customizable, why would someone get one giving that inside there won't be any tutor, any spawn, any money-income source? It would be just a generic random house everyone has access to... exactly like Vermilion Pokecenter or any other building in PRO. You could tell me "Oh, but it's my space and there is only me!", if you want to have a generic room like everyone has access to (exactly like said above, as that would be the result), you can just go inside a building and in the console type foreveralone and voilà, you are now the only person in that generic building everyone has access to and it's free! This is not even possible, I was well clear above about how maps (it's one of the first thing I wrote). Our scripters can't create maps/room through scripting and even less create copies of maps (what you call template) already existing through a script and even less place furniture through a script. (script = npc/npc = script). Most of this lack of a sense, coding speaking, coding speaking. You basically say that you want an NPC to create an ID but you do not generate a new map. After that, to enter your map you have to access your ID. Leaving aside the fact that an ID (identifier) must be associated to something, on PRO there is not a way to have 20.000 players access the ""same map"" but not see each other (foreveralone aside). What you are talking about is a similar system to the dungeon-instance in wow and similar MMORPG, but what you see as "the same map" is actually not the same map. The coding part behind instances long and it would also require a lot of new functions added from DEVs. And here we fall again in the amount of time and focus it would need for something with this that community would not benefit from at all. You totally misunderstood the point. This whole project would require tons of tons of work, in a really long time and what would it achieve? Literally nothing. Once again, I explained it above but let me quote myself again: If we make just 2-3 basic templates and therefore no customizable, why would someone get one giving that inside there won't be any tutor, any spawn, any money-income source? It would be just a generic random house everyone has access to... exactly like Vermilion Pokecenter or any other building in PRO. You could tell me "Oh, but it's my space and there is only me!", if you want to have a generic room like everyone has access to (exactly like said above, as that would be the result), you can just go inside a building and in the console type foreveralone and voilà, you are now the only person in that generic building everyone has access to and it's free! Nothing of this gives community content, as this is not content. Nothing of this gives the player something to do/pass time with (what do you do in an empty house). Nothing of this improves the game in any way where there is something lacking. You could tell me "Yeah, but it's better having it than not!" and we would maybe agree, but new things will continue to come out one after another that will have a higher preotic than this as this has literally the lowest priority possible, and you would end up having this system coming out in the 2037. What does community benefit from (content side): Content (New Regions, Quests, etc) PVP Update (moves/abilities coded, reconnect z-moves, visual for room/stat changes, new gen, etc) PVE Update (new pve content in general like it can be a battle frontier, idk there are many examples to make) Quality of Life update (auction house, box/pc rework, event icons, etc) A lot of background updates (layering, pvp elo system, code rework to allow future updates in a more comfortable way, etc) Other stuff that are not in my mind right now in this moment. I've never seen someone "dominate", as that is a weird term in the first place. Some people leave cause they think there is no content or prefer to take a pause until the next updates comes out. This is perfectly normal and happens in every game. You definitely don't fix that by adding a weird system that absolutely gives no content to the player but just a vermilion pokecenter copy (explained this part above) that you even have to pay to access.
  3. This is something that has been suggested already many times and is a -1 from me for the following reasons. I will give my opinion as Administrator of PRO, but this is just my own personal one and doesn't necessarily reflect the one of DEVs. A housing system definitely looks appealing from the player perspective, but personally (imho) speaking it looks a really big waste of time from the Staff one and also don't think it would be something really needed or wanted by players. Introduction First of all, it's important to mention that to have a good result we should consider a complete housing system and not a half-baked one with no customization or similar as that would have no sense. I will anyway do comments about both the issues in the complete and half baked one,. It' important to say that the way maps/tiles (floor, furniture, trees, etc to make you understand) and NPCs works in a way that doesn't allow a housing system in this moment. Maps, for the one not being aware of it, are in the first place manually created through the usage of an external client. Also, a single furniture is divided in different parts that are to be placed in different layers. For example a tree is generally divided in 3/4+ parts where each part is to be placed in 4 different layers manually; sometimes the layers used are different even for the same tile if you need to achieve different results (the water/ground under the water on maps is actually a good example, but not the only one). [STAFF SIDE] The issues with the Housing System Giving what has been said above, it is currently not possible to allow a player to manually create a map and manually place a furniture into a map or in general to customize it. Some of the reasons are: DEVs would need: A lot of code-changes and also to create an editor inside the official client of PRO to manage players to place NPC/Tiles(Furniture, floor etc) Need to create an interface that allow users to create a list of allowed people that can enter a house and a way to automatically update the NPC if you want a player-house and not a guild one. ART Team would need to work on tiles, but this most likely will require a further rework from DEVs on how tiles works in game and I am not even sure this is possible CS Team would need to handle the in-game scripting part for what regard all the NPCs. Also NPCs path and rotation are hard-coded value that are customizable by the CS, but this is done through an external editor and this would require an extra work from DEVs again unless you want to have 300 NPC hidden in a map causing lot of lag. MAP Team, if we go for a half-baked Housing System with templates, will have a huge amount of work to do for those templates. I am sure that there is many many more and the DEVs can definitely expand and mention even more stuff from their end that would make it even many times more cancer than it looks now. Do take that each of the above stuff would include the entire team of the mentioned role, and therefore would remove time and work from every other aspect of the game (included the most important one). [GAME SIDE] The issues with the Housing System Exactly like the staff side, here on the game side there are as well many issues that I will try to address properly: Amount of Houses Housing system lead to the result of giving everyone the possibility to have their house and PRO to have due to that over than 20.000+ houses, and this will be definitely not possible to be handled in a comfortable way. Good to consider that if you want extension, and giving that what you described as "outside garden" is literally a second map, it will be like 40.000. If you want a second floor then that's another map and it will be 60.000+ potential and so on. "What if we do it only for guilds?" is what some of you will ask, but the answer will be the fact we have Guild Island and that is the main 'guild feature' that should not lose any appealing. Appealing What would the house/map contains? Definitely and absolutely not hunting places as that would open us to many vulnerabilities in terms of botting and similar; Definitely not money-income sources as that would damage the economy; Tutors? They are on Guild Island. If we make just 2-3 basic templates and therefore no customizable, why would someone get one giving what written here above? It would be just a generic random house like anyone you can find around any region. Conclusion PRO Absolutely do not need at all a Housing System and would not benefit at all from it (not staff or community). There are still really really really a lot of things that PRO lacks or need a rework from specific Staff Team (you can find DEVs here) and all of them are things that will objectively have a higher impact on the game and community in terms of benefit and importance. Guild Island, with some adjustment currently done by Walross (spawns) does everything necessary a Guild needs. Asking for such a suggestion to be implemented is the same as asking to put everything else (Astrella/Unova and what will come next, New Themed Pokemon and NPC Sprites for stories, all the DEV To-Do list, all the events, all the CS scripting, etc, etc) on a break for a long long time. I have tried to be as short as possible but to give the minimum of information needed about it, have a good day o/
  4. Hi there @SuperDarcks Your account should now be transferred and activated again as the issue on our end was fixed. Can you please check it? Looking forward to your reply, have a good day
  5. Ehi there, it looks like there was a misunderstanding with the staff member who communicated me your request. I have proceeded and removed you one Beedrillite, have a wonderful day and thanks for your communication about the issue. - Keita

  9. Honestly, with all the respect, this is a post that totally lack of any sense and is everything but not productive. We do never force anyone to play the game itself and neither a specific side-quest (like it can be the one of an event). Everyone in the game is free to perform any action they want and prefer in order to have fun, as long as rules are followed. It is true that sometimes the event maps can offer: Different Pokemon that can have an event form are usually cluttered on the event maps On event maps, you can usually go for more than one Pokemon since they share the same sync However that's exactly a benefit of the event itself as the maps where those "benefits" can be obtained are indeed part of the event itself and would be wrong to make players being able to jump directly to the spawn area skipping basically everything (100%) else. Those are benefit of the Valentine/Xmas/Easter/etc Event and are available only in those periods. You are free to complete the event to access those benefits or just not participate since the event forms are obtainable even outside of the event maps (e.g if there is Valentine Bagon, all the maps Bagon can spawn in will have a chance to spawn that form). There are events where the spawns have a lower tier than other maps and you can also access them free like the current Free Safari Event where you can find special themed Pokemon, that's however another thing as that's a hunting-event where the only thing you do is hunting and that's the main topic of the event, contrary to a Valentine/Xmas/etc event.
  10. INTRODUCTION As the Valentine event has been completely and entirely released, we would like to gather the feedback about this event. The reason we do this is pretty much the fact that the community's opinion has a really high value and impact on the game itself, and therefore it is important to consider it in order to understand if we are on the correct path in terms of what we are releasing. Feedback also help us to understand if what we release is liked, if it could have been better (and how) and in general to allow us to fix any potential error and keep improving the game doing even better. We would like also to clarify that the the Valentine Event is designed to be smaller than Christmas as Xmas is one of the games major events so a comparison between the two (for example for rewards but not only) would be unfair and wrong. VALENTINE'S DAY EVENT FEEDBACK In this specific case, we would like to hear your opinion on the following topics: Enjoyment Quest Difficulty Story/Lore perspective Effort/Reward Ratio We are aware that not all of you will be able to comment those for various reasons (e.g people speedrunning), however we will really appreciate if you can give your productive feedback on as many of them as you can in the most accurate way possible. FEEDBACK EXAMPLES PRODUCTIVE FEEDBACK: I didn't enjoy the Valentine's Day quest because there are several waiting times, especially during part 1 for the wedding, and during part 2 when you have to wait for Salamence. I feel like these waiting times are not necessarily justified and useful. NON-PRODUCTIVE FEEDBACK: The event sucks cause, just do better next time.
  11. User is back, topic locked. Welcome back o/

    Html

Hi there @Limit I am Shinohara, one of the Administrator of PRO and the person in charge of the Forum. I would like to inform you that the HTML(and not only) is disabled for everyone not being an Administrator (this means that this is disabled as well for the entire staff) on the forum for safety/security purposes. In fact, allowing users to use that would open us to vulnerabilities such as JavaScript Attacks, XSS Attacks, ability to hijack, use iframes to insert malicious scripts and so on. No existing forum allow users to use HTML(and not only) in their comments/posts exactly for the same reason. It is however possible to do as Maisa say and paste a code into the comment by using the code BBCode, which basically just works as a "syntax-highlighting". Example using the HTML Editor to show a code that will use the HTML Syntax Highlightning: <p class="editortest">HTML Syntax Highlightning</p> Example using the CSS Editor to show a code that will use the CSS Syntax Highlighting: .editortest { text-decoration: underline; } However, in this way you will just show the code but it, as said above, won't get applied and won't work in any way. It's just a way to show others your code. I hope I was able to provide enough clarification about the topic, please let me know if you have any other question. Have a wonderful day.
  15. Hi there @Algerie31 First of all thank you for dedicating your time to looking for ideas to improve the game, we do actually appreciate when the community try to contribute by looking for ideas that could make PRO an even funnier and more enjoyable environment/game. In this case, what you are forwarding as an error on our side is simply the way Pokemon, and other games that uses this pixel/tiles system as a mapping-base, always worked. Just take any npc-house as example; From the outside the width of the house is generally 4 or 5 tiles (poorly explained but easy to understand: 4-5 walk-steps), however the inside width is at least double or triple the size. This goes for everything: NPC-Houses, City Gyms, Region Leagues, Ships and so on. Imagine if GameFreak would have mapped the S.S Anne (Vermilion Ship) interiors as big as the outside... it would have been literally 5 tiles/steps and therefore ridiculous. Think about the opposite instead, if the outside ship should have been as big as the interior; in that case you would have needed to make the outside ship as big as 2 Kanto Cities. Why is that made like that? No, unfortunately Pokemon doesn't take places on Gallifrey or inside the Tardis. The reasons are simple: Minimize the amount of work needed to complete the game, and therefore release content in a waaaaaay faster way. If we would have buildings' outside as big as their interior, the game would be at least 3 or 4 times bigger and therefore it would have taken 4 times more to be developed. Pokemon is based on a fantasy world where ships can fly, animals can talk and generate tsunami/earthquake/etc and people is in fact fascinated and mesmerized by this world&environment&story as main stuff, therefore it's incredibly rare that people would stay there and count the amount of steps needed to cover the outside width, do it with the inside and then compare it; therefore it's not really worth to spend 4 times the amount you would normally take to develop the videogame for a details that no one(or almost) would care about if you can use that times instead to focus on other, and most important, things like content and details that the franchise community prefer. I think this cover your suggestions from A to Z in the most exhaustive way and I hope this is appreciated. In any case, off topic but worth to mention, I will personally work on a "What is a suggestion and how to forward it?" guide in the following days in order to establish a better relationship between community/staff and have a better organization in this subforum. With this said, I wish you a wonderful day. - Locked

  17. You are so much original and funny that you just earned a special award called a Temp Forum Ban. If you don't like this award, we suggest to read all the Game and Forum rules in the future in order to avoid to break the rules again. Have a wonderful day
  18. The coins should be "into the shop", therefore in form of currency, and not as coin capsule. Have a wonderful day
  19. You probably missed the part where the difference between Productive and NON-Productive feedback is explained. I suggest to go back and read it.
  20. INTRODUCTION As the XMAS Event has been completely and entirely released, we would like to gather the feedback about this event. XMAS EVENT FEEDBACK In this specific case, we would like to hear your opinion on the following topics: Enjoyment Quest Difficulty Story/Lore perspective Effort/Reward Ratio We are aware that not all of you will be able to comment those for various reasons (e.g people speedrunning), however we will really appreciate if you can give your productive feedback on as many of them as you can in the most accurate way possible. FEEDBACK EXAMPLES PRODUCTIVE FEEDBACK: Mountain Area boss was too hard compared to the final boss for the quest. It was a forced super boss battle that didn't need to be one since it felt more like a dungeon and you shouldn't be prevented from using potions there. NON-PRODUCTIVE FEEDBACK: The complete quest was too hard, make it easy.

  23. Hello everyone and welcome to the first Official PRO Guild Tournament. This year was really important to PRO's PvP Scene. A lot of important Legendary Pokemon have been released, as well as the addition of the first Mega Evolutions. Additonally, Pokemon like Mimiyku and Ash-Greninja saw their debut. Furthermore, Developers fixed old bugs and added a lot of new moves and abilities. Therefore, we want to create the first cross-server PvP event that is exclusively hosted within PRO's surroundings: The PvP Guild Tournament! The Guild Tournament is a PvP Event with a double-elimination bracket where Guilds fight each other by choosing six members of their guild as well as two optional substitutes. The brackets can be found on Challonge and the tournament will take place in PRO's Test Server. The reasons of why we decided to host it on the Test Server are the following: - Option of hosting the first cross-server Tournament within PRO's environment - Logs of every match being played - Same chances for everyone: Every participant will have access to the same Pokemon, provided by the Admin Team - Making the first step towards an autonomous PvP environment The here First of all, join the Discord by clicking the box here below! Join the discord and make your Guild Leader type in the #registration channel. Once written, I (Keita) will read it as soon as I am at PC and will proceed in contacting you for the fee payment Entry fee of 300k to be paid by the Guild Leader to @Keita. - Once paid, the Guild Leader will have access to #participants-list-submit. List 6 members and 2 subs in #participants-list-submit. Member list should include the participant's PRO Username and Discord Tag. Member list can be updated until the start of the tournament. Substitutes are optional. Participants are allowed to request custom spawned Pokemon in the Test Server. All requests should be sent in #submit-spawned-pokemon following the pinned layout. No new Pokemon will be spawned after the start of the tournament. Final day to sign up is 16th November at 23:59 GMT +0. First Place - 2x NPC reroll with one IV locked for legendaries for everyone in the winning guild that played at least one match, not transfer-/sellable, has to be used within 30 days. - A portion of the entry fee - A Coin Capsule Second Place - 30 PvP Coins for everyone in the second place that played at least one match. - A smaller portion of the entry fee - A Coin Capsule Third Place - A smaller portion of the entry fee - A Coin Capsule With that, we hope that you enjoy the first Official PRO Guild Tournament, best of luck to all the participants.
