Have you checked that your antivirus isn't Thanos snapping it constantly? I find it weird that it deletes itself. Maybe your antivirus removes it upon start-up.

Sadly, if you didn't catch the pokemon and log out so it obtained an ID, there's nothing that can be done since it was never stored in the database. You'll have to catch another one in the future.

You can just get into a wild battle and log out and log in while in battle. You'll be teleported to your last pokecenter.
