Alright starting off, let's not pretend making "Guild Islands" only available for Top3 PvP guilds was a good idea. It was not. It will never be a good idea for so many different reasons alone. The already "small" PvP community centralizes in only 3-4 guilds, making the rest absolutely pointless. The "rich get richer", the best players will be in the top #3 guilds and therefore get access to more content, allowing them to make more money/get more content etc. The original idea is somewhat possible with a little work and staffs maintaining it. Needs 1 Scripter, 1 Mapper and 1 staff who keeps track of everything. It's possible but isn't being done because ??? This idea can even self-sufficient live next to the "Top 3 guild island reward", it simply is a bit of work (only thing I am not sure of if Scripters can check what guild you are in, this is the only piece of work I am uncertain of, everything else is possible already). This Guild Island stuff has destroyed old guilds, people were forced to merge to even remotely compete with others. Guildleaders pay members to PvP OR worse cases where guildleaders pay people who are good to join their guild 7 days prior and boost the guild rating that way (this happened last season indeed in one of the Top1-4 guilds) The "PvP Guild reward" is pretty much ALL PvE content, nothing related to PvP, bosses/spawns etc are not PvP content. Most of the excuses here are nonsense, it's work, it's tedious work and probably annoying as hell to do but it's possible. Guild island must be the most disappointing addition to the game in the recent 2 years. This must be the most unoriginal idea you have ever given towards PvE focused players, go back to your original idea thread and look at what it turned out to be. It's not even a 1% of what you posted back then, that's why people are annoyed by this. This response as well, addresses none of the issues players have, other than saying something that is not related. Anyway, just my two cents.7 points

Megas will not be OT-bound. This would devalue many pokes, many trades that already happen would practically be scams and megas need to be considered in our economy as they will be a huge part of it. Therefore I'll close this suggestion as denied. I understand your point and it's nice to see that everyone in here posted their opinion but it sadly does not fit in our game.7 points

I am not too much of a fan if there are rewards involved generally as I can only see this ending in a drama. But I wouldn't be against a similar "voting" system as in league of legends for PRO. We could give users the option to give every player a vote out of a few options. "Helpful player", "Fun to play with" and "Great PvP player" could be potential options. Every option could have an icon. The icons and vote counts could be displayed in the trainer card. Not really sure about it overall but that's maybe an option for the future.6 points

We sadly need a boss limit. I am not saying it's perfect or that we implemented it the perfect way but we only added bosses very, very slowly for the last year cause we couldn't add more without exceeding the limit we set ourselve for boss runs. With the upcoming region and many boss requestes within the staff we had no other way left. The Content Scripter lead, I and a few others will need a while to discuss and rework some bosses. This is to somewhat balance bosses so we do not have "useless" bosses anymore. That's needed with the upcoming updates anyways. We have many construction zones within PvE and PvP right now and hope to find solutions for everything within the next months. Right now, we are fully working on the upcoming update which mainly focuses on PvP. But we did not forget about other things like boss updates and the world quest which need to more interesting in the long run for users that already got all legendaries. I hope you can give us a bit more time to sort out everything and then work on tweaks and changes. While discussing it here, I would like to ask a question. Would you guys prefer a global cooldown reset for the 7-days boss cooldown? So that it always resets Monday 12 AM GMT+0? This way users also (almost) have the option to do 14-days boss runs.6 points

please add an NPC who tells us how many days we have helped news reporter in solaceon city so that we can know when 25th day is gonna to complete please4 points

Theoretically, I am not totally against it. I don't like the suggestion as it is but I like the core idea. But practically, users would only vote their friends/guildies, especially when there's something to win and not the users that actually helped.4 points

Hello everyone, This thread is in regards to the recent changes made to PvE that have really disappointed most of the community that plays the game solely for it's PvE aspect, myself being one of these players. The limit on the amount of bosses we can battle is not only demotivating for PvE players but also completely destroys the fun of that aspect of the game. We are forced to choose what bosses we want to battle in the limited time frame and can no longer discuss things like strategies on how to achieve the shortest boss run etc which was part of the fun. For myself personally, I feel completely distanced and neglected as a PvE player in PRO by the recent changes and with megas being implemented into PRO it serves to show that the game is catering towards its PvP community to an overwhelming degree. What really triggered my frustration the most is this: Today, I decided to log in for a test run on my love island boss strategy that I've been working on for months, recording it every time and tweaking it in order to upload a solid strategy onto YouTube that can potentially help other players struggling with this boss as I have in the past. For those of you who play PvE you will know exactly how annoying this boss duo is to defeat consistently considering the amount of threats each of their teams has, from the guts flareon to the serene grace shaymin sky flinchathon and the MG alakazam with focus sash that seems to love critting us. After completing this battle I realized the reward was cut by half! I only got 46k and 5 PvE coins for a boss I need to pay 5k to get to assuming I'm already in vermilion city and don't have a travel pass that costs the ridiculous amount of 300k a month. Imagine that! One of the hardest boss duo in the game completely cut down and getting a measly reward for the effort on a boss that's literally a coin flip and one mistake can cost you the battle putting you on a 12 day cool down. How frustrating! When bosses are our main source of income and we need to cover the cost of travel debt, ev training, safari zone they all cost money. Not every player uses trading as their main source of income and not every player plays pvp either to make money off their coins! If you're going to nerf the reward nerf the boss too. I feel there is a complete lack of communication between the staff and the players of this community, as we weren't even told in the announcements which boss rewards were nerfed specifically, and giant sudden changes like this make players feel isolated from the staff of this game. You guys really need to pick up your game when it comes to identifying player needs and fix the issues at their core, not some patch work solution in hopes to avoid mass profit on multiple accounts. It should not be a generalized solution that punishes all players. I've loved this game for a long time I really have, I've seen the potential it has had to be great for all the years I've been playing, and I wish it would grow even larger and become a popular game once again, but in all honesty changes like these aren't doing the game any good. You're slowly driving away more and more veteran players who are attracted to that aspect of that game specifically and have stuck with it for those reasons. A lot of us feel like we're not just players in this game but we've witnessed the development of this game from the get-go so we're all mini testers and have grown attached to the game after seeing what it was and where it's at now. If you would only take advantage of the community's opinions and feedback you will benefit so much from it. We're all literally at your disposal and all you need to do is lend an ear to listen. Peace, XanthinaRose3 points

Not sure if I am the only one but I think a better recognition system for people who make the PRO community a better place is needed. For example, people like GioAlv1 and Shadow2054 who spend most of their time helping people in help chat. Friendly people like Zeldawoot who spend their time in All chat making it a lively place to chat about anything and everything (under chat rules ofc.) What I suggest is a monthly (?) voting system similar to the PRO player awards. Players who make the community a better place get a variety of rewards ranging from pokemon to exclusive stuff like in-game nifty lil badges next to their names. And the annual PRO player awards could be a conclusion of these monthly events! I personally think these players deserve better recognition and would love to see this implemented. Feel free to share your opinions below! Have a good day! Sincerely, ChiiCe2423 points

In the first place PVP is already hard for new players to get into, so bossing is a good way to start so you can practice setups and tests etc before diving into pvp and getting your ass kicked by veteran players, since the changes 2 weeks ago as a new player I believe i have lost ALOT of content, I'm looking forward to PvP but I KNOW im gonna get destroyed so for me these PvE bosses were fun, Ive only done them for two weeks and I enjoyed battling a majority of the ones I was able to, But the rewards are so low before i read from others u make between 40-60k per boss and im only getting 25k, and only 1 extra pve coin? I don't understand why new players are being punished! I lost half the content and half the rewards ! Financially I'm struggling a lot in this game and i personally believe its way too late to implement this kind of change because only new players and those that are struggling financially get punished! I love the game and i love grinding but i feel like i lost so much time training and catching pokemon to fight these bosses and i can only do half of them and can only get half the rewards. It makes me sad and I can understand why the poster feels like your driving people away, i feel the same way!3 points

Hey, I have some suggestions regarding the current PC-System. I am aware that this is low priority, but I am pretty sure that it is a really good and wanted QoL change. I saw similar posts, but those did not match entirely with the thoughts I had about the PC. If you like or dislike any of them, please leave a reply in this topic. 1. Naming Boxes. PvP-Box, PvE-Box, Shiny Box etc. I know it is possible to sort it like that with a bit of effort but the naming would make the whole sorting way more pleasant. 2. Adding and naming Categories One Box consists of 5 Rows which contain 3 Pokémon each. Adding a [-] Split function to split the Box in two Categories (which both can be named) containing 6 Pokémon each for a full team (12 per splitted box) would be great. This would be especially useful for entire PvP teams, but can be used to sort a lot of different things aswell. 3. Free movement in the box. Each Slot in every box should be usable for any Pokémon no matter how much we caught or if those are filled with Pokémon. This would allow us to use the last boxes for PvP-Teams (using the Split function), Shinys, Boss-Pokémon etc. whilst the boxes in the front will not be messed up by (or simply used for) catching new wild Pokémon. 4. Checking and mass-deleting Pokémon. Adding a simple checkbox to every Pokémon and being able to click a trashcan to release all of them together. This will prevent the time consuming and annoying process of releasing every single Pokémon slowly, especially after catching hundreds. 5. Mark favorites. Small, not needed change I thought about. Marking Pokémon with a little star and being able to only show those. This is for example useful to mark epic or just really good Pokémon when you caught hundreds of the same kind to differentiate those from the bad (and hopefully mass-delete the rest). Thanks to @SchattenDialga for the visualization. Make sure to check out his shop here: https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/topic/103263-url2 points

Hello @SilverAge, Thank you for bringing this bug to our attention. We tested and confirmed that the Psychic Marinas at Eumi Island Town and Battle Tower Arena are not giving the option to keep or not the rerolled IVs. The others at Vermilion City, Olivine City, Mauville City and Canalave City are working as intended. The issue has been reported to our scripters and developers. Have a nice day!2 points

+1 Might even be possible to search for types as mentioned above or even for Abilities or Natures as a quality of life addition (if that doesnt go too far) The mass deletion is something I´d give alot for (thinking of sessions where I had to delete 10 boxes full of pokemon with each deletion having cooldown)2 points

I wanted to give my opinion on this topic since I refrained from sharing it in the other thread. I guess you could say I'm fairly experienced in bosses in PRO from doing them over the past few years. There are honestly "good" arguments and "bad" arguments on both side, I'm in favor of the boss limit but in disagreement on how certain aspects around it were handled. I have no problem with changes, nerf, or re-balance whatsoever. It's completely fine if they plan to introduce more content around it. Wanting to reduce inflation is also correct even though there were arguably better ways to reduce inflation. One(s) that did not involve restricting your own content. My biggest issue is that we barely get any information out of it as mentioned by Rose. It feels like there's a lack of valuable information given to us; even though I completely understand that not everything needs or can be shared. A minor example is to have confusing announcements such as "some bosses were tweaked" (reference) without having a single clue or hint on what exactly was changed. The problem is especially when a boss team/reward is changed without any announcement on it. We had no announcement towards certain nerfs/buffs that were done recently. A simple message mentioning that the battle bot team was changed or that Shary and Shaui rewards were reduced would have been fine, it's not a leak, it's just about informing the player of considerable changes without going too much in-depth. I will mention two arguments in here which I'm not especially in favor, not here to create drama or anything, just looking to share my point of view : A boss is, in most cases, a challenge that rewards the players. Making a hard boss give 10k and no valuable rewards nullify the whole point of it. This is an MMO, where farming is encouraged and rewarded, bosses should give valuable rewards. Gaining 200k per boss run is not valuable, transit pass costs 300k per month already. You can still have fun while fighting bosses. Removing all the decent rewards from bosses would just ultimately lead them to be dead content. It's obviously correct information that this player would gain millions, but I doubt there's anybody that was doing all bosses on 4 accounts due to the sheer amount of requirements. Even if there was, it's a substantial amount of time dedicated to bosses and the person should be somewhat rewarded. I do agree with the rest of your argument(s) in that message though. Just a few examples : George -> Minimum 200 hours requirement (Legendary beast quest needed) Khlover, Officer Jenny -> Minimum 250 hours requirement (Pinkan island needed) Saphirr -> Minimum 200 hours requirement (Heatran quest needed) Steven -> 200 hours requirement 3x Guardians -> 200 hours requirement (Legendary beast quest) Battle bot -> Need MS (Not major, but still worth mentioning.) Ash Westbrook -> 500 hours requirement A person that rushed the story on his alt to gain the Sinnoh champion title will be able to do around 29 bosses out of 47 (the rest needing quest, hours, or dex requirements). It's not enough to fulfill the limit of 20 per week and therefore your run is somewhat unoptimized (Again, no problem here). That's around 1 million per 2 weeks in monetary reward (Exaggerated and not entirely accurate) and would be around 1,4m with a full boss run (40 bosses per 2 weeks). In my opinion, the limit is fine as it is and doesn't need more nerfs, arguable for some other PvE activities, and not necessarily my point here.2 points

Negativity or Toxicity is the go-to excuse for criticism here. Nobody in this thread is being negative, just sharing their opinions.2 points

+1 from me too,PvE aspect of this game is being nerfed specially considering the difficulty of bosses and the rewards generated .They are just not on par with the time invested by us2 points

I actually made myself the bet to actually do this guide for newbies and get it done before tomorrow. I wanted to cover this topic because it feels dumb, but there's actually a lot of ways to make the process easier. I'm going to post most of the information borrowed from my other guide: Welcome to hunting abilities and how to make your life easier avoiding capturing any unnecessary pokemon! There are hundreds of abilities in Pokemon, almost thousands. A lot of pokemon share abilities: Metagross, Registeel and Tentacruel share Clear Body. This ability prevents them from having their stats lowered by an opponent move or ability. Sentret and Rattata share Run Away which allows them to always run away from battles, Nidoking and Feraligatr share Sheer Force... you get the point. There's a lot of abilities in pokemon, all pokemon come with atleast one ability, some with two, some with three. But, what is an ability? An Ability is an inherent power all pokemon have. All pokemon have an ability. Some of them only have one (Gastly with Levitate), others only have two (Bulbasaur with Overgrow and Chlorophyll) and sometimes they have three (Bronzong with Heatproof, Levitate and Heavy Metal). All pokemon come with an ability when captured. If a pokemon only has one ability, it will always have that one. There's no going around it. If a pokemon has two abilities, it will have these two, and if a pokemon has three, then three. Some abilities are more useful than others. The ability Levitate, for example, makes a pokemon immune to Ground Type attacks. Lightningrod does the same to Electric moves, but also increases your Spatk by one stage after being hit by one. Flash Fire does the same but for Fire Types. Volt Absorb and Water Absorb make a pokemon immune to Electric, Motor Drive does the same... you see the point. Some abilities are insanely good because they help out a lot of pokemon to defend against their weakness. Some abilities make them immune to certain status (Limber, Immunity, Own Tempo, Insomnia). However, there are also some abilities that are completely useless. Truant is an ability that makes you only be able to attack once every two turns (you attack, you do nothing, you attack, you do nothing, you attack, you do nothing), Illuminate literally does NOTHING in battle, and so on. There are really broken abilities like Sturdy or Mold Breaker, and there are stupid abilities that you wonder how they even exist. So, how are we going to hunt for the right ability for our pokemon? Well, we need to study which of the abilities can our pokemon have, and which one helps it better. For example, Guts in Rattata is way better than Run Away, Levitate is way better in Bronzong than Heatproof, Lightningrod is way better than Static in Pikachu. Search and look at what each ability in your pokemon can do and choose which one you want to use. So, how do we hunt for abilities? The first thing we have to do is investigate what abilities the pokemon has. It can be either simple and perfectly easy (Gastly, for example, only has one ability. Thus, we don't need to worry. It will always have the same ability), a bit hard (one ability and one ha) and a nightmare (two abilities + ha). If a pokemon only has one ability, it will always have it (it can change when it evolves though, Gastly's Levitate becomes Cursed Body on Gengar.) However, if we're trying to hunt anything else, we will have to check if it's a normal ability or a hidden ability. If it's a normal ability, we have to check if the pokemon has two, or just one. One single ability. 100% chance! One ability and a hidden ability. 95% chance and 5% chance! Two abilities and a hidden ability. 47.5% chance for both and 5% chance for the last one. Then, we factor in the chances. The normal chances of finding a Hidden Ability pokemon are just a measly 5% of the times you'll encounter the pokemon. Thus, if the pokemon has just one more normal ability, it will have a 95 % of having the normal ability and a 5% of having its hidden one. If it has two normal abilities and a hidden one, each normal ability will have a 47.5% chance, and the hidden one will still have a 5% chance of appearing. You can check the abilities of each pokemon in the pokedex. The normal abilities will be found in the first two slots in a blue font, while their hidden ability is found on an orange font. Then, how do we increase our chances? Well, we can purchase a Black Medallion (or BMS) from the Coin Shop for just 40 Coins so that for the next 72 hours we use the item, we will have a 25% chance of finding a hidden ability on any wild pokemon we find. However, this is bad if we actually want to hunt the normal ability of a pokemon, since we will decrease the normal abilities' chance to get a higher chance of hunting a hidden ability. We can buy a Coin Capsule from other players to purchase a Black Medallion or we can also donate to the game to keep it going Premium Coin Shop. Black Medallion: consumable item, lasts 72 hours. Icon to show Black Medallion's effects are active. It's time to hunt pokemon! So, where do we start? We first check what pokemon we want to hunt. I'm going to check for Spearow, for example. I want to hunt a Sniper Spearow. Since Spearow only has two abilities (a normal one and his hidden ability), we have a 95% chance of finding a Keen Eye Spearow and a 5% chance of finding a Sniper Spearow. That's a bit low! If we had a Black Medallion active, we could use it to have a better chance of finding one. We can find out if a pokemon has a certain ability using the Role Play move. Role Play is a move learned by Kadabra upon level-up that, when used, will show what ability the opposing pokemon has. We can use this move to know what ability the pokemon has. If the wild pokemon does not have the ability we want, we can simply flee and find another one. Kadabra with the move Role Play. After using Role Play, we find out that Rattata's ability was Guts. The other easy option to use is to get a pokemon with the Trace ability. Ralts and his evolutionary line have this ability. Once a Trace pokemon is switched into battle, he will copy the opponent's ability. Ralts is really hard to find and this ability is his HA. Thus, I suggest you just get any Abra, evolve it into Kadabra and learn this move. (Thanks to Atdhe, Trickypork, 700ruoham and Dorota for showing their Trace pokemon since my client was bugged) What if we're so poor we can't even capture these? We'll use our brain with no resources! How do we know if Spearow has the Keen Eye ability? If we study both abilities, we only have one way to discern one from the other: if he has Keen Eye, he will not have his precision lowered when we use Flash or a precision lowering move against him. Thus, we just have to use Flash against him to know he has Keen Eye. This Spearow has Keen Eye, as you can see in the picture. Thus, we can't lower its accuracy with Flash. We instantly know that he does not have the ability Sniper. Mmm... I feel like capturing a Diglett with Arena Trap. How can I find out what ability it has? Well, we know that Arena Trap will prevent us from fleeing. Thus, we just need to know that if we try to escape, he won't let us. Thus, it will be Arena Trap! We can flee from this one. Thus, it doesn't have Arena Trap. We can't* run away from this one. Thus, this Diglett has Arena Trap. Man... I really want a Sturdy Geodude. I guess I should try and get one. We know Sturdy protects him from being KO'd in a single move. Thus, we know that, if we are able to KO it with a single move, it didn't have Sturdy. Thus, we didn't want it anyway. I hit him extremely hard and he did not faint. We also get the pop up message. Mmm... I feel like getting a Clear Body Tentacool. That ability prevents stat lowering by the opponent. Thus, I'll use an Intimidate pokemon to know if it has Clear Body! Clear Body will prevent Intimidate from working. This one doesn't have it. No pop up message appears after this. This means Tentacool DOES have Clear Body. Same happens with Krabby Hyper Cutter. I hope with this guide you've understood how to calculate the probabilities of each ability, how to check a pokemon's abilities (or use bulbapedia for it), how to find out what ability they have, what tools can you use, and how to find them out without any tools: just using intelligence. I hope it helps you newbies too! (Ignore the part below, it's bugged and I can't fix it) Potato.1 point

Welcome, everyone! I was asked a few times on how to exactly train a Pokemon and fix their EVs, how does EV training work and how much do EVs work to improve a pokemon. Everyone always wants to have their pokemon as strong as possible. EV training will max the capabilities of a pokemon: whether it's a tank, a fast pokemon, a sweeper, or just a garbage pokemon you want to train for fun (why, though?), EV training is a requirement for the PRO lategame. However, EV training can be done anywhere, as soon as you start the game, from any point. Even if you're a newbie and you're in the third badge, you can still EV train that Gastly you always wanted to use for the story because that random dude in help chat told you to do so. Why should we EV train? We EV train to improve our pokemon to their full capabilities. Pokemon's stats severely increase when they're EV trained, to points where fights go from being impossible (Giovanni's Mewtwo) to being an easy oneshot from Gastly. For example, imagine we have a Gastly at level 90, with a Modest Nature, that has 200 Speed and 200 Special Attack. It's slower than the Mewtwo and, even if he manages to Shadow Ball it somehow, Mewtwo still survives. However, if we EV train that Gastly, it will gain atleast 50 Speed and 50 Special Attack. Now, it will outspeed Mewtwo and oneshot it before he can react. A legendary pokemon powered by a machine fainted in a single hit by a ghostly poisonous fart. Imagine! What are EVs and how do they work? How do we train them? What can we do with them? How do we modify them? What can I do if I trained EVs wrong? How can I fix this mess of a pokemon? To understand how EVs work, we can read the other forum guide I did covering this topic, or we can copy paste it here. However, I'll do both: https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/topic/152671-natures-abilities-ev-iv-and-stats-for-newbies-the-guide/?tab=comments#comment-840375 In this guide, we cover the topic of EVs and how do they work and how do we train them. However, I didn't go in depth into it, since I wanted to make a guide on how to train them as I train one of my pokemon so you can see the progress and the ways we can use it. You can check the theory there, but I will copy the basic definitions we need to understand here. EVs or Effort Values are the blue numbers in any pokemon you see. These values can be modified, increased, reset, reduced, fixed, changed... they're amazing. They work as a modifier for all of your pokemon in order to improve them as much as you want. You gain EVs for defeating wild pokemon, trainer pokemon, using proteins or vitamins in your pokemons. Every 4 EV in one stat, your stat will get increased by 1 at level 100. You can have a max of 510 EV between all stats of your pokemon. In a single stat, the maximum amount of EV you can allocate is 252. Thus, at level 100, if you allocate 252 EV in that stat, it will increase by 63. (252 divided by 4). You can decide how to change these whenever you want. You can modify them as you wish by using EV Reducing berries. These can be found in any route, in Viridian Maze and in the Safari EV Zone. These are: Pomeg Berry, which will reduce your HP EV by 10. Qualot Berry, which will reduce your Defense EV by 10. Kelpsy Berry, which will reduce your Atk EV by 10. Grepa Berry, which will reduce your Spdef EV by 10. Hondew Berry, which will reduce your Spatk EV by 10. Tamato Berry, which will reduce your Speed EV by 10. All wild Pokemon, once defeated, will grant you 1, 2 or 3 EV in one stat. Some grant 1 EV in 1 stat and another one in another. There are really weird combinations. They always give an EV of their highest overall Base Stat. For example, Snorlax gives HP EVs, while Gengar gives Spatk EVs. Evolved forms usually give more EVs than unevolved forms. As I said, these 2 give 3 HP EVs and 3 Spatk EVs, respectively. If you hold a Macho Brace, the EVs you gain will be doubled. If the EV in one stat is 99 or below, you can use a vitamin to increase that stat's EVs by 10. However, if you try to use a vitamin once that stat's EV are atleast 100, or the Pokemon already has the maximum amount of EVs (510), you will not be able to. They can be purchased in department stores. These vitamins are: HP UP, which will increase your HP EV by 10. Protein, which will increase your Atk EV by 10. Iron, which will increase your Def EV by 10. Zinc, which will increase your Spdef EV by 10. Calcium, which will increase your Spatk EV by 10. Carbos, which will increase your Speed EV by 10. First of all, we have to find a suitable pokemon to EV train. My personal recommendation is that you do not EV train anything that cannot be used in Bosses, low rating PVP (friendly pvp with friends, basically), or serious ranked PVP. Do not waste time, resources or money into training something that you will literally never use again, because it will mentally burn you out. For this guide, I'll train a pokemon that I believe is useless unless you equip it with a certain item. Pikachu with the Light Ball. This is one of the Pikachus I hunted for a newbie who lost his, so I decided to use it as an example. As you can see, this Pikachu has some decent Spatk, Speed and a good nature. Its ability might not be the best, but I wanted to train this little guy for fun and he has good enough stats to be trained. We want to level our pokemon first from a low level to atleast 40-50 to do the EV training properly. So, since we see he has EVs under 100, we will try and using some leftover vitamins we have in our bag. It does not increase its base Speed stat, but its Speed EVs. Pokemon's base stats cannot be changed, ever. Just to clear misunderstandings We want to train this Pikachu with 252 Spatk EVs, and 252 Speed EVs. I will first check for vitamins in my bag. I see I have some, and the Speed EV of this pokemon is 0 (check the blue number next to Speed). Thus, I can use all of the 10 Carbos to increase it to 102. We can train it however we want: we could train 102 EV into each stat, but that's stupid. Pikachu does not need defenses, only offensive stats. Pokemon like Bronzong can be trained by splitting EVs into each defensive stat. Now that we increased its Speed, we will use some Calcium to increase its Spatk stat. Since I have a lot of them, I'll use 10 of them to increase his Spatk EVs to 100. Voilá! Now our pokemon has 100 EV in Spatk and Speed. However, we can't increase it with vitamins anymore, so we have to manually train them both. Now, we have to fight wild pokemon to gain EVs. Each pokemon gives a specific EV. We can check each pokemon in a website like bulbapedia to know what EV it gives once we defeat them. For example, I will train this Pikachu in Cerulean Cave. I will only fight Golbat because it gives 2 Speed EV and I will fight Golduck because it gives 2 Spatk EV. I will avoid everything else because Gravelers give Defense EVs, which I do not want (Because Pikachu is a sweeper that does not care about being tanky). As you can see here, each Golduck will give us 2 Spatk EV once we defeat them. Let's get some! We found a Golbat. Let's get some nice Speed EVs! As expected, we got 2 EVs into Speed. Nice! We can keep fainting pokemon until we get some more levels. We will now fix the Def and HP EVs, since we do not want them. We can obtain these berries in the EV Wald in Fuchsia Safari or inside the gigantic Viridian Maze. These respawn from every 24 to every 96 hours. Pick them up every single time you find them! We will now use a Pomeg Berry and a Qualot Berry to remove the Defense and HP EVs Pikachu has. Berries in Viridian Maze. Now it is cleared of all unwanted EVs. Since we want to train it 252 in Speed, 252 in Spatk and 6 in Atk, we are ready to now fully train it. We will avoid fighting any wild pokemon that gives undesired EVs so as to avoid training him in the wrong way. We can look up in the website mentioned above which pokemon gives each EV. If you do not have money to use the Safari EV Wald, you can use the EV Zones spread around the regions. These are placed in specific routes and are amazing zones to EV train your pokemon for free. You'd only have to pay 5k to travel to each region or just use your legs and walk there! Since I want to make the process faster and I can afford it, I will go and train him in the EV Wald in Fuchsia. Remember you can train EV anywhere, doesn't matter when, how or where. All pokemon you fight (including trainers) will give you EVs. Just remember to avoid fighting unneeded or unwanted pokemon or you'll have to fix the wrong EVs later using berries. Safari EV Wald inside. You can obtain a Macho Brace by trading a Drowzee for a Machop holding this item in Goldenrod. The NPC is in front of the Pokecenter. It's the Motorbiker dude. This Macho Brace will double all EV gains, but will make you slower in battle. However, this will make us gain EVs incredibly fast. This dude will give us Macho Brace. I will now choose EV Training Area. I will use the next 20 minutes before I'm forced to leave wisely and I will EV train it to its fullest potential. You can pick up a Kelpsy Berry which reduces ATK EVs by 10 each time you use it. They're all in the Wald, in both zones. Here we'll find fully evolved forms at very low levels. In this exact part, I fight wild Pidgeots which give me 3 Speed EVs per pokemon. Since I've equipped Macho Brace, I will gain 6 Speed EVs per pokemon. Speed is now done. Now we're going for Spatk! Here we find the Spatk berries in the Spatk training zone. Vileplumes give each 3 Spatk EV, so we get 6 Spatk EV with Macho Brace equipped. Our Pikachu is now fully trained and ready to be leveled up to 100. We've successfully EV trained our pokemon and now we only have to level it to 100. Yey! If you want to make your training process faster, you should disable battle animations and increase Text Speed to the fastest so that you gain a few seconds each fight, which will add up quickly and allow you to fully train a pokemon in exactly 18 to 19 minutes, just shy of the 20 limit from Safari. As you can see, I have animations toggled off and Dialogue Speed at the max. I hope you have all enjoyed this quick guide on how to train any pokemon. I hope all doubts are cleared and you can check my other guide linked above to understand the theory better!1 point

I haven't played in so long and when I do it's not longer than 10 minutes. I just want to thank everyone I've met along the way in this community, there were some good and bad times. But overall I am glad to be apart of this game, huge thanks to the devs of this game for letting me bring some of my creations in the game. I will not be returning as I have lost all motivation towards anything gaming and gonna continue pursuing my dreams with art. If wanting to contact me, my old discord. *deleted my other, Kennyth#3080 I gave away almost a lot of my things in game and to those that have the stuff, you're welcome! Treat them well When I had started this game, I never would've learned more about the world of Pokemon just playing by myself. The guilds that I had joined in this game are amazing, especially Chaos. As people make them out to be, once you get to know them they're actually solid people. To all my friends and fellow staffers, you keep doing you. You're amazing and truly one of a kind My last request if possible, ban me permanently. And thanks for everything everyone! Treat each other kindly and just overall enjoy this great game. This is the end game. (niko <3)1 point

My next guide is going to be based on Abilities and how to properly hunt for them, how to look for them and how to try and get the best ones for each pokemon. Since I've worked a lot right now, I'm going to take a break and post it tomorrow :)1 point

Honestly, I like this idea in general, even though I dont feel that rewards are neccesary. I also agree with Eaty's idea and I feel that a monthy voting system would just make the whole thing very based on bias. Overall, its a nice concept and i guess it would be nice to see that people like me are able to make a positive impact on the community in our own way. +11 point

+1 I would very much like a detailed answer as well from staff because while rule two clearly states that you cant have more than 4 accounts it doesn't explicitly state a lot of the small details that many players have about this rule. I have spoken with Logan personally many times and, hes pretty brilliant and I would say that while almost all of his rules are written nearly flawlessly this one along with a handful of other ones do have particularly limited explanation of the boundaries of the rule and its hard for players to really full obey all the rules if they aren't able to fully written for players to see them but its my understanding of the rule that players may have 4 accounts with the ability to have Characters on both gold and silver on each however, what is not explicitly written is the rules is that if you want to transfer back and forth you can not be banned on any accounts and this is also important as well that any account banned permanently or suspended still counts toward your overall 4 accounts so players with an infraction history will have their pools of accounts reduced alongside being unable to transfer back and forth between servers as a way of giving them a limited of number of chances to correct their behavior and punishing them for the things they have done to get to that point. If you have more than 4 accounts you will be served a mass account infraction. Im not sure what tier infraction that is but my gut is telling me its pretty high so its pretty sketchy to test your luck and I certainly would not and have even reached out to staff on the subject myself to gain clarification on my journey as well. I think an amendment needs to be added to the rule to reflect the later instituted rules that have came since this rule was written by Logan. As it is though the rule doesn't reflect the fact that you may only play PVP on two on them and you have to go to a totally different section of rules Written by Mercurius/Felix and others to be able to find out that information, which is ambiguous because now their are two different sets of rules overlapping each over. But lets just go down the rabbit hole for a second and go further lets say your curious about what happens if you accidently make play on your third account instead of you second one well you have to go to another set of rules in a different place to find the answer written by Red. To say the least the information is just not in one spot and that is hard for the player because its just not readily available with the right context of for players to understand interpret quickly. just to clarify here is how the rule is written by Logan, 2.Each person is allowed a maximum of four owned accounts. This includes, but is not limited to: Exploiting more than 4 allowed accounts in order to gain mass profit or frequently gaining large amounts of income. If someone has quit PRO and gave their account to you, take anything you want at once and stop using it only if you already own 4 accounts. Be aware doing this may trigger a ban in which you will need to appeal and provide proper evidence of the account being given to you. (Example: Having the password of more than 4 accounts you received by people who are inactive in order to fight bosses, doing PvE quests to receive rewards, or progressing during a Special Event in order to receive one time rewards such as Reroll Tickets, etc...) You may only have one account per email address. Here is the rule written by Mercurius 6. You can use only 2 of your own accounts to PvP within each season. Using any account you do not rightfully own, or using more than 2 accounts, will result in heavy punishment. Here is the the infractions for both of those rules written by Red. Using more than two alternate Accounts in the Ranked Ladder. PUNISHMENTS : PvP Bans, Mute Bans, Temp Bans, Perm Ban, Rating reset, PvP Coin resets and Tournament Bans Mass Accounts. PUNISHMENTS : Perm Ban.1 point

thank you so much for your answer!! i didnt know about this! i thought you can run only 4 acc for both server! and i didnt know about 1 email = 1 acc = 1 gold & 1 silver acc is allowed! only to be sure 100% i would still like a confirmation from a mod in order to avoid any ban for mass acc run :D1 point

I'll try to answer (until a staff member comes around). You can have up to four accounts. They must be your accounts. You created them with your emails. (There is more in depth to this rule with friends' accounts but you should wait until a staff answer). In each account you can have Silver Progress and Gold Progress. For example, in my Bhimoso one, I have completed the story in both Silver and Gold. However, in my Bhimaso one, I only have completed Kanto in Silver and I have completed the entire story in Gold. You can, for example, do boss runs with all 4 accounts on both servers (if you manage to have a boss team in each server) and then transfer the money to a single account in the same server (for example, Bhimoso and Bhimaso trade their silver pokedollars to the Bhimeso account in silver by just logging in and out of accounts and trading the money to yourself with two clients on a PC. Then, you can either buy Coin Capsules in one server, use them and then, these Coin Capsules will be converted into Coins which will stay in that account's coin shop In both servers. That means that, if I trade 4 million pokedollars into Bhimoso in Silver, and I buy 10 CC with it, and use them in Bhimoso, I will have 1000 coins in the coin shop. Since these coins are shared between Bhimoso in Silver and Bhimoso in Gold, I can then log in Gold Server and buy 10 CC again in the Coin Shop and sell them in trade chat to get the pokedollars that I spent on Silver. This is one way to do it. The easier way is to just trade all of your money into one account in each server once a month. For example, since I don't play in silver except to grind money, I trade all the money into any Silver Account (for example, Bhimeso, my least played secodnary account) and ask for a server transfer in the dashboard. The money and progress and items from Bhimeso will be brought into the other server. Then, a month later, I'll repeat this again (you can transfer your progress between servers for free once a month). I hope this helped!1 point

is that 100% sure ? can we have a confirmation from a mod plz ? also this thread is interest me too. i would like to add one question about this thread if i am allowed. so if we can use 8 acc! 4 in one server and 4 in the other server! then we can also trade items money pokemons from each acc ? for example: silver accs did bosses this week and get 1m. same for gold. can i gather the money from gold in one acc and transfer that acc to silver and and then give the money to one of my silver accs ? if i am not allowed to add a question about this thread then am sorry! i didnt know it1 point

It was always planned to give PvE guilds a chance to get to guild island but we don't have many options to do that right now. One of our Content Scripters is currently reworking all fighting NPCs within PRO. Kanto (and Johto?) should already be live. It might take a while till he's completely done and replaced all old fighting NPCs. I thought about using it to hold a planned (and not random) PvE Trainer WQ every two months where guilds get +1 for all NPCs they beat while the WQ is active and the top guild would get access to guild island for the upcoming month. This is nothing decided yet but a possibility for the future. I am all ear for other suggestions. It might take a bit but we are working on new PvE updates (especially) with and for the upcoming region. We did not forget PvE (and PvP) players but we cannot focus on them at the same time. So there will be times with more PvP and times with more PvE updates.1 point

Not every person has 4 hours a day to hunt for a epic pokemon. (A +25 important stats + 20 other stats, good nature, good ability) This can even take weeks. Roleplay? On Anime you need a strong bond to Mega Evolve, or Ash Charizard can Mega Evolve with Damian ( the kid who abandoned charmander)? No, and if we measure it with happiness everytime your pokemon dies he losses happiness. And it is almost impossible for pvp players to have their pokemon with high happiness. By the way you loss 5 points when your pokemon faints and only 1 when your pokemon kills other Pokemon. So based on the "roleplay" of Anime the OT doesnt has sense. And putting it on the happiness idea that would just take out Megas of pvp.1 point

I personally like the new changes to bosses. Before we had to do (If I didnt misscount) 47 bosses every 12 days. Whenever the day for bosses came up I felt forced sometimes to do the boss-run as it takes very long to do 47 bosses and most of the time you have to spent 2 days for the whole boss-run. Lets say we beat all 47 bosses we would get 141 PvE coins very 12 days as we got 3 per boss before the changes. (47 x 3 = 141) Now we get 5 PvE coins per boss, we can do 20 bosses every 7 days, so 100 PvE coins per week and 200 per 14 days. If you do some quick math thats 10% more PvE coins than before. And that is without considering 20 bosses per 7 days is way less stressful and the fact you can choose 40 bosses out of the 47 available ones. Now for the money I didnt pay much attention for the last outputs but if they really nerfed those outputs by 50% like you mentioned on the Shary and Shaui boss its a huge letdown and I would support your suggestion to buff the money rewards.1 point

First of all, you couldn't have said it better, I highly agree with this post. This boss update is a big nerf to PvE, not just the money income but the content the game has to provide. There is already more than 50 bosses in the game, with this change you can only now select 40, this means you have to decide which bosses are worth doing and which not. When a new update comes, players expect new content or changes to improve the game. We are now missing part of the content the game has to provide us, not being able to enjoy the full experience and you are just taking away playtime from those who only enjoy the PvE aspect of the game. What is going to happen when a new region arrives with many new bosses? Sadly we will have to choose from a bigger pool of bosses, which we will not be doing, so what's would be the point in adding new bosses if we won't be able to do them? Which will be the difference? Most, if not all, the interesting, hard to hunt, and PvPable Pokemon are already in the reward pool from, not one, but at least two already existent bosses, there is a high chance that these new bosses don't give more money than the old ones we already have so I still can't think anything to look forward for them now. This might be a possible fix to reduce the money income from PvE but I'm pretty sure staff could have done a better job instead, not just, as XanthinaRose says, punish all players by doing this. Not everyone is able to play from 4 accounts just to make an insane amount of profit from this, those who only play with a single account as for now are the ones feeling the nerf more than those who have more than one. The only thing I can see here is how encouraging this is for everyone to start playing with more accounts in order to compensate the lost. The prices for most of the things still the same, they are ruled by supply and demand, it's just matter of time for a new event to arrive for them to increase once again as it has been the whole time. To finish with, how would it have affected to ask the community their opinion? An update doesn't have to be based on people's opinion, we all know a few won't take it seriously and there are many trolls out there but, at least you know what to aim for, why waiting for people to start complaining and give a feedback, where many of those might not even be a useful feedback but one of those insulting messages? This just ends in more work for the staff having to revert or using resources to change it once more. After all, games' success depends on their community, don't they? I also really want to see this game grow bigger and bigger, I really have enjoyed this game every single minute I've played this whole time and I don't regret at all. Don't want to see this game's community get ignored and making a lot of veteran and new players leave, more than those who already left for whatever their reason was.1 point

I completely agree, the pve aspect of the game is dwindling slowly along with my interest in the game. To me It seems like the game is all hunting of high tier Pokémon or pvp now a days. The boss changes make the game seem more meh as of late1 point

What a great thread! I am the guild leader of NoMercy. NoMercy has been a guild since April of 2017. I was very vocal in the past about how changes over the past few years devalued guilds and the competitive integrity of guild ladder. (1, 2, 3, 4) As others in this thread have expressed, I was also very excited about initially proposed idea of the Guild Island. What we got is different, so I will only focus on what is actually present instead of speculating the initially proposed. June is the first month I am getting to experience the Guild Island. I don't think it's that bad so far. I see nothing wrong with pushing it live with the bare concepts (spawns, tutors, tms) and adding features as they are coded (boss). I prefer to be optimistic and presume that is the plan. Everyone should keep in mind PRO is run off volunteers, not paid professionals. That said, the requirements to gain access to Guild Island have further exacerbated my concerns about guilds in PRO. It is absolutely true the social ecosystem of guilds have completely changed since the introduction of Guild Island. Immediately, we saw guilds start to merge by distancing themselves from players who did not want to or chose not to pvp. Even worse, the rule allowing players to pvp on two accounts also creates incentives for guilds to invite alt accounts with pvp rating in order to unlock Guild Island. Additionally, we see many players in two guilds to increase their odds of getting into guild island. For all guilds with aspirations to unlock guild island, the favoring of alts or veterans will continue to grow. A majority of the players left guildless during these merges or favor towards alt accounts are new players. I believe this to be very, very dangerous to the grow of PRO. Quick Solutions? Calculate guild rating based on the top 50 players within the guild. This would reduce the incentives of alts and necessity of filling your guild with veterans or pvpers. Allow access to the guild island to be purchasable each month by the guild leader. I can see a few options: A flat fee of 5m for the month, no matter your guilds placement in the ladder. If your guild finished in top 10, you can enter guild island for the month for a fee of 100k. Top 5, 50k. Top 3, free. ( fee per member) Eventually, I would like to see PRO implement a more sophisticated way of dealing with alt accounts. I understand the suggestion that follows potentially requires a lot, but I think it would dramatically improve the moderation of the game throughout many aspects. Every player must create a profile. You must then link your accounts to a profile. An account that is not linked to a profile will not be able to trade, pvp, etc. Only four accounts can be linked to a profile. Profiles will join guilds, so all your accounts will be in the guild of your choice. The account with the highest rating applies to your guild rating (not all four). Your accounts will not share pvp rating, but instead share the same "ELO" of the account with the highest rating. Example: Lets say "teerav" and "vikingman" are under my profile. "teerav" has 300 rating and "vikingman" has 1 rating. Assume I pvp with "vikingman" and the opponent has 400 rating. I win, "vikingman" will gain rating based an 1 rating winning against 400 rating. However, the opponent's rating change will be based on 400 losing to a 300. Its a big difficult to explain, but hopefully you (the reader) understands. This would mitigate "sniping" at the end of the season. And it would still allow players with pvp anxiety or veterans looking to test still use multiple accounts to pvp on, but it would remove a lot of the negative aspects effecting guilds described earlier in this post.1 point

Hello, 8-10 Coin Capsules sounds reasonable. Do you suggest that for every single mega evolution or to get a mega stone? Okay, jokes aside, won't happen. Simply cause they are meant to be accessible to all players that invest a bit time. Otherwise it would have been kinda worthless to actually code and implement them.1 point

She finally did it!, Though I completely agree with your suggestion. (not because i'm in your guild)1 point

We need more space too, especially once we get more Gen 7 Pokemon. Remember that it's not uncommon for people to have multiples of the same Pokemon for various reason, like having many good ones and unable to determine which one to sell/trash, or because they are syncs of various natures. And when farming, people can catch like, 50-150 of the same Pokemon, so there needs to be enough space for that. And then there are people who own a living dex because they offer dex service. And that's just the normal Pokemon. We also have shinies and various event forms. Really, once we get Astrella and a lot more Gen 7 Pokemon, we ideally should get at least 20 more pages (20 pages x 15 slots per page = 300 additional slots) added to the current 60 pages PC box. Even better if it's 40 more pages to make it exactly 100 pages. Even now, we already have people who ran out of PC box space. Clearing it is not as easy as you think, especially without the ability to properly sort the PC box's content. So we at least need a sorting system that affects the whole PC box, not just the current page.1 point
