  2. As I said, irrelevant to the subject matter. e.g Rotom Spawn was on the Guild Island for a month while it wasn't a spawn elsewhere. This type of stuff is what I meant with "rich get richer", Rotoms are very sought after Pokemon in the end are worth a lot. What? The way you have done it might be true but workarounds aka what was discussed in staff channels would make this a non issue. They would have the same chance of hiding in a random Sinnoh house. The idea has some flaws but if you sit and discuss it properly with some form of compromise, it's possible. You can leave the Top3 reward as it is, it's more about guild islands in general, more leaned towards your original idea than anything else. Yes and what do "PvE" / "Community" focused guilds get other than a "get gud?" You haven't addressed the majority complaint in this thread. I will write up an example of how Guild Islands could function: (I am going of the fact that Scripters can check in what guild you are) What is required from staff side?: 1 Mapper who can map 4 maps (1 Pokemart, 1 Pokecenter, 1 Main Map, 1 Cave) 1 Scripter who can handle NPCs such as Tutors / other features 1 Tmod/GM/Admin who has permissions to remove money and has good forum knowledge to keep logs of everything What Guild islands could look like?: You have a base model Guild Island that comes with the 4 above mentioned maps, 2 sets of spawns (1 for the main map and 1 for the cave map), 3 basic tutors (you can select out of a bunch) for 20mil$ This would serve as a "guild-hub" everything else can be a bonus [*]More move tutors (up to 10), 2mil$ each [*]Upgradeable map (Headbutts/Dig spots/Daily Quest giver) each 5mil$ This could be pre-built into the map but blocked off (e.g a worker is blocking the dig spots,a farmer is block the trees etc) [*]and more .. (I am not as creative tbh) Why would this need 1 Mapper? We need someone who can make 4 maps, e.g "Guild Island guildname" "Guild Island Pokemart guildname" "Guild Island Pokecenter guildname" "Guild Island Cave guildname" Those maps would need to be uploaded/renamed and the links between would need to be done, beyond the original 4 maps it would be just uploading/linking Why would this need 1 Scripter? Pretty much all the NPC stuff Why would this need 1 Tmod/GM/Admin? To deduct money from guildleaders and to keep track of everything in a forum post. And before some dumb arguments come out of nowhere like "What if 100 guilds buy it, thats WAAYYY TOO MUCH WORK", 100 guilds would result in 2billion cash out of the game. No money sink would result in that much money gone. Just an idea, it can be fleshed out easily if you just allow it and it's not "beyond broken", it should more serve as a social guild hub with some QoL things.

  3. On this thread I want to share some of my feelings considering the current status of world quests. ( TL;DR below) First of all I want to say that I am aware that world quests are supposed to be hard and I totally support that. Me and probably the majoritiy enjoyed world quests when they were new as they were a unique way to get some missing legendary pokemon. Of course I dont know the numbers but I think a decent amount of players got all the legendary pokemon available through world quests by now. This leads to the first problem I feel like there is with world quests. With every world quests more and more players are getting all the legendary pokemon which means less and less people are actually doing the world quests as the rewards outside of the legendary pokemon are simply too underwhelming for the effort you have to put in. Now there is the next "problem" within world quests, the effort. Dont get me wrong here I like the fact that we have to put in effort to actually achieve a new legendary pokemon or even a hidden ability Dragonite. The fact though that hours of effort can just be for nothing because the world quest could not finish is enough for many players to not even try for the mysterious ticket. Now I know that if those people would try most world quests would probably finish but then again can you really blame them for not trying after they wasted their time for potentially multiple times or because they already own all the legendary pokemon? Another thing are the actual spawns of the world quests, hunting 8 hours for Heatmor or any other "irrelevant" pokemon just to find out the world quest will not finish just does not feel good in any way. - Just to add: I am not talking about me here but about most people who actually finished the needed 900 IVs for the world quest. - For the last point I want to mention the needed IVs for the world quest. I feel like 180.000 IVs would actually be fine if the pokemon people had to hunt had value in PvP or in another way or if the rewards for players who already caught all legendary pokemon were better. Because of the mentioned reasons above I think less and less people will actually try for the mysterious ticket so 180.000 IVs is just too much and feels unachievable for a pokemon like Heatmor if everything stays the same. You could say theres always another world quest with another pokemon but we cant ignore the fact that less and less people will try for world quests as more and more players get all the legendary pokemon there are to obtain through world quests. So increasing the required IV feels like the wrong thing to do at the moment. As things are now people who still need legendary pokemon "suffer" from the people who already have all legendary pokemon and do not need to do the world quest anymore because the needed IVs stay the same but less people are doing it. Now lets talk about solutions. - The required IVs could be decreased in a way that it is possible to catch a new legendary pokemon with the same difficulty as players could as world quests were new in the game. - Another way could be a change to the rewards, players who already have all legendary pokemon could get access to an NPC who rerolls the IVs of a legendary pokemon obtainable via world quests. Players who achieved the 0.5% on a failed world quest get a ripped ticket which can be exchanged for a mysterious ticket if you have 2-3 ripped ticket parts. I am sure there are many other ways to improve world quests for the community so feel free to share your opinions on this thread. TL;DR Problems: - More people have all legends -> less people doing WQ because of bad rewards outside of legends. - Less people going for WQ because they wasted time on a failed WQ in the past; got nothing for hours of effort. - Bad spawns like Heatmor are especially hard because people are scared of wasting time on an irrelevant pokemon more than on a PvPable pokemon they could use/sell even if WQ fails. - 180k IVs potentially too high for current status of WQ. Solutions: - Decrease required IVs - Give players who own all legends an NPC to reroll a legend from world quests once. - Players with 0.5% on a failed WQ get a ripped ticket which can be exchanged for a mysterious ticket once you have 2-3 ticket parts.

  5. I think this is a great idea. Players who help out in the help chat are awesome, but I think rewarding those players chosen via whatever voting system with a small icon beside their name or changing the color of their name is not a good idea, especially if the voting system is biased. Don't get me wrong, they do deserve recognition, but that can be done with other things like an icon on their trainer card that is rewarded privately and not in the chat where anyone can see. If i'm going to be honest, i'm just afraid that this "Icon" or "Badge" beside their names will get to their heads and make them feel better than anyone else that wants to help in the help chat, giving a feeling of superiority to those who have it. That and I've also seen a few active helpers in help chat act passive-aggressive towards a mod that's trying to answer, for no reason at all. Yes, I've seen that happen more times than I needed to unfortunately, and i'm sure others have as well. To add to all that, this may potentially make the help chat a competition to see who could answer the most questions, or to see who can answer the fastest, and not out of willingness to help. I'm aware that not everyone is like this though, and that they genuinely want to help. Of course, this is only my opinion on what I think about the suggestion and rewards. Please don't take it the wrong way. TL;DR : +1 on the voting system as long as it isn't biased, -1 on having icons beside the player name as a reward or type of recognition because of the reasons stated above. Thanks and have a great day.

Some examples that come to mind are: > Content Suggestions (For all suggestions related to ingame content such as Maps, Cosmetics/Mounts/Sprites, Quests/Events etc.) > Mechanics Suggestions (For all suggestions related to developer-side additions) > Rules and Moderation Suggestions (For all suggestions related to possibly adding or reworking rules or moderation related stuff) > PVP Suggestions (For all suggestions related to the PVP aspect of the game) Feel free to leave any feedback or suggest other categories.

  9. Hello everyone, This thread is in regards to the recent changes made to PvE that have really disappointed most of the community that plays the game solely for it's PvE aspect, myself being one of these players. The limit on the amount of bosses we can battle is not only demotivating for PvE players but also completely destroys the fun of that aspect of the game. We are forced to choose what bosses we want to battle in the limited time frame and can no longer discuss things like strategies on how to achieve the shortest boss run etc which was part of the fun. For myself personally, I feel completely distanced and neglected as a PvE player in PRO by the recent changes and with megas being implemented into PRO it serves to show that the game is catering towards its PvP community to an overwhelming degree. What really triggered my frustration the most is this: Today, I decided to log in for a test run on my love island boss strategy that I've been working on for months, recording it every time and tweaking it in order to upload a solid strategy onto YouTube that can potentially help other players struggling with this boss as I have in the past. For those of you who play PvE you will know exactly how annoying this boss duo is to defeat consistently considering the amount of threats each of their teams has, from the guts flareon to the serene grace shaymin sky flinchathon and the MG alakazam with focus sash that seems to love critting us. After completing this battle I realized the reward was cut by half! I only got 46k and 5 PvE coins for a boss I need to pay 5k to get to assuming I'm already in vermilion city and don't have a travel pass that costs the ridiculous amount of 300k a month. Imagine that! One of the hardest boss duo in the game completely cut down and getting a measly reward for the effort on a boss that's literally a coin flip and one mistake can cost you the battle putting you on a 12 day cool down. How frustrating! When bosses are our main source of income and we need to cover the cost of travel debt, ev training, safari zone they all cost money. Not every player uses trading as their main source of income and not every player plays pvp either to make money off their coins! If you're going to nerf the reward nerf the boss too. I feel there is a complete lack of communication between the staff and the players of this community, as we weren't even told in the announcements which boss rewards were nerfed specifically, and giant sudden changes like this make players feel isolated from the staff of this game. You guys really need to pick up your game when it comes to identifying player needs and fix the issues at their core, not some patch work solution in hopes to avoid mass profit on multiple accounts. It should not be a generalized solution that punishes all players. I've loved this game for a long time I really have, I've seen the potential it has had to be great for all the years I've been playing, and I wish it would grow even larger and become a popular game once again, but in all honesty changes like these aren't doing the game any good. You're slowly driving away more and more veteran players who are attracted to that aspect of that game specifically and have stuck with it for those reasons. A lot of us feel like we're not just players in this game but we've witnessed the development of this game from the get-go so we're all mini testers and have grown attached to the game after seeing what it was and where it's at now. If you would only take advantage of the community's opinions and feedback you will benefit so much from it. We're all literally at your disposal and all you need to do is lend an ear to listen. Peace, XanthinaRose

  21. Changelog 11.08.2020: Bumped Unity to newest version. Ball animations show the ball while summoning and catching a Pokemon now. We save the balls you caught Pokemon with from now on. All previously caught Pokemon were set to Pokeball. The ball used to catch a Pokemon is displayed in the Pokemon card now. [*]Reworked swaping move positions in pokecards from arrows to drag and drop. BEFORE, AFTER [*]Reworked the client options menu. Added Show D-Pad and Relative Touch Control options. Keybindings can be removed with Escape now. [*]Reworked code parts in the Windows client patcher to make verifying a lot faster. [*]Fixed a bug where changing your Pokemon resulted in changing enemies Pokemon. [*]Super/Not very effective sound parsing which resulted in playing the wrong sound sometimes works correctly now. [*]Fixed Ferroseeds abilities, it can no longer become Anticipation. [*]Struggle no longer gets the priority from the selected move. [*]Fixed/Improves EXP mathematics. [*]Poison Touch works properly with Protect now. [*]Contrary works correctly with Intimidate now. [*]Outrage and Protect work correctly together now. [*]Outrage can only hit three times now. [*]Life Orb and Water Shuriken work properly with Water Absorb now. [*]Pressure works as intended now. [*]White Herb gets consumed now. [*]Encore and Disable work as intended now. [*]U-Turn works properly now. [*]Volt Switch works properly now. [*]Baton Pass works properly now. Baton Pass passes SPATK now. Baton Pass has priority with Prankster now. [*]Healing Wish works now. [*]Lunar Dance works now. [*]Substitute works now. [*]Protect works correctly after enemy's switch out now. [*]Foul Play ignores enemies ability and holding item now. [*]Choice items do not lock you anymore when the move does not go off due to paralyze, flinch etc. [*]Minimize now raises the user's evasion by two stages, instead of one. [*]Simple Beam works now. [*]Leech Life heals correctly now. For some reason it healed 50% of the attackers life. [*]A few moves still had Gen5-6 Base Powers and Accuracies. They were updated to Gen7. Base Power: Assurance, Chatter, Draco Meteor, Energy Ball, Hydro Pump, Lick, Magma Storm, Overheat, Power Gem, Smog, Surf, Thunder, Thunderbolt, Vine Whip, Meteor Mash and Leaf Storm. Accuracy: Gunk Shot, Poison Gas, Psycho Shift, Will-O-Wisp, Meteor Mash, Roar, Topsy-Turvy and Whirlwind. [*]Trick Room and Wonder Room will now be used if the opponent switches in a Pokemon that dies to Stealth Rock. [*]Battle Bond works now. Water Shuriken gets 20 BP and always hits 3 times with activated Battle Bond. Greninja with Battle Bond is not yet catchable. [*]Stance Change works now. [*]King's Shield works now. [*]Mega Evolutions are implemented now. Megastones cannot be removed in battles (via Knock Off, Trick or Thief f.e.). NPCs can mega evolve their Pokemon correctly now. Pokemon can hold Megastones but Pokemon holding Megastones and Megastones are not tradable. More and more Megastones will be available in-game with new content over time. [*]If a Pokemon dies before the opponent used a move the move will be used and fail now. This is the correct behaviour, triggers choice items lock and reveals a possible new move. [*]Fixed a bug where Destiny Bond killed the wrong Pokemon. [*]Fake Out and Truant work correctly with U-Turn, Volt Switch and Baton Pass now. They used to fail if used after getting switched in via one of these moves. [*]Tailwind works correctly with Prankster now. Prankster should be fully fixed with that. [*]Filter works now. [*]Endure may fail if used in succession now. [*]White Herb gets consumed correctly now. [*]Reworked Encore and Disable, Struggle works correctly with that now. [*]Focus Sash works correctly with Hazards, Stealth Rock, Spikes and Poison now. Shedinja with Focus Sash is no longer banned in Ranked PvP. [*]Added [iCODE]/surrender[/iCODE] command and button in battles. [iCODE]/surrender[/iCODE] works in all battles, counts as a loss and has a five minutes cooldown in Ranked PvP battles. The five minutes cooldown is only for the command and has nothing to do with the battles. [iCODE]/surrender[/iCODE] does not add a ten minutes cooldown to enter the Ranked PvP Queue again. [*]Added [iCODE]/draw[/iCODE] command in Ranked PvP battles. [iCODE]/draw[/iCODE] only works in PvP battles and ends without a winner or loser. Draw requests can only be sent alternately to avoid spam requests. The draw requests expire after 30 seconds. [*]Technician works properly now. It didn't use the base power before. [*]Expert Belt works properly for physical moves now. [*]Fixed three bugs that possibly made your PvP battles go stuck. The first bug happened when both Pokemon died with Weather Effects involved. The second bug happened when you went in Queue with a dead Pokemon. That's the bug where you summoned a Pokemon and it instantly died and made your battle stuck. [*]The third bug was a combination of switching moves and Choice lock items. [*]Fixed an urgent bug in received and sent mails. [*]Removed Xanascript shops entirely from the server code. [*]Added user.gender in Python. [*]Changed quite a bit of the client-server API. We use the UID instead of the index in many cases now. [*]Pokemon instantly get an UID now. [*]Fixed a bug with the max visible users. The code was simply wrong and caused that users stopped moving, disappeared or took too long to appear. Reworked NPC LoS with the same code. [*]Fixed a bug where Xanascript NPCs returned the wrong Hidden Power. [*]Client battle code completely reworked and battle animations slightly changed. This does not include attack animations. [*]Catch rate was adjusted to the handhelds and every shake has a chance to break out now. [*]Added many cosmetics (mounts, headgears) and tiles for future content. [*]Reworked PvP timer. Everyone has a 180 seconds overall timer that gets +15 seconds every round. Infinite time stalling should not be possible anymore. [*]Improved layer handling. The Pokedex and other stuff don't flicker anymore. [*]The catch rate chance has been reworked based on gen7 and works as intend now. It should be easier to catch pokemon like Beldum. [*]Many, many, many code optimizations, clean-ups, small reworks and bug fixes. Known Issues in Mega Edition These are no new bugs but affect this update Multi-hits do not heal absorb abilities (escept Water Absorb). Multi-hits do not have Independent calculations.

  24. Hello. I would like to introduce you my idea for Battle UI rework. I think I've met all requirements from the first post, so let's begin: First of all I've decided to move the main menu to the bottom bar. We have more space now on the right side so we can add Mega Evolution and Z-Move buttons. Each button is active only if the right item is detected on Pokemon. On the left side I've added Battle Log and Battle Info tabs. [spoiler=1 vs 1] Moving main menu to the bottom gives also advantage for more items visible when backpack is opened. It can save time during scrolling through item list. [spoiler=Items] Now, when we have hazards info on the left tab, we can change current mouse hover option. It could show stats changes and other effects active on each Pokemon, when you hover mouse on Pokemon's name. [spoiler=Stats] Let's move to the 2v2 and 3v3 battles. It would be much easier if the game could show which Pokemon is currently attacking and which opponent's Pokemon should be hit by the move. The base plate of active Pokemon could be green and after choosing right move the opponent's plate is red. [spoiler=2 vs 2] [spoiler=3 vs 3] And about Z-Moves. After choosing Z-Move button instead of regular moves list it should show all Z-Moves available for Pokemon. [spoiler=Z-Move] [spoiler=Z-Move List] Hope you like my idea :)
