  1. As some people already noticed PRO got a new level-up animation. It may look cool on first sight for single level-ups but its not a good change for the long run imo. It takes about 1m 30s to gain the level ups from 150k xp on a low level pokemon. Most people who are training their pokemon are leveling up in Cerulean cave or other areas with high level encounters so gaining that many levels is not uncommon. Its very frustrating to wait 1m 30s for every single pokemon we are training, especially for people doing leveling service. I dont think watching the level-up animation for multiple minutes (if you level up from low level to 100) is a good change in any way. My suggestion would be to add a toggle or skip option to this because that way single level-ups for new players doing story still have a cool new animation while leveling up in the lategame is not frustrating to do. Here is a video for everyone who hasnt experienced the new animation yet. Edit: Just seen there already was a thread about that issue, wasnt my plan to create another one but I guess mine has an alternative suggestion.

  2. Greetings, would like to suggest to add a feature to disable the new animations in the new update. The new animations where you encounter new wild pokes is really making my game laggy as hell( I don't know if you guys too experience it, I play on Android) and the new level-up thing really eats alot of unnecessary time etc. Would certainly like this feature to be added and hopefully you'll consider it.

  3. Changelog 11.08.2020: Bumped Unity to newest version. Ball animations show the ball while summoning and catching a Pokemon now. We save the balls you caught Pokemon with from now on. All previously caught Pokemon were set to Pokeball. The ball used to catch a Pokemon is displayed in the Pokemon card now. [*]Reworked swaping move positions in pokecards from arrows to drag and drop. BEFORE, AFTER [*]Reworked the client options menu. Added Show D-Pad and Relative Touch Control options. Keybindings can be removed with Escape now. [*]Reworked code parts in the Windows client patcher to make verifying a lot faster. [*]Fixed a bug where changing your Pokemon resulted in changing enemies Pokemon. [*]Super/Not very effective sound parsing which resulted in playing the wrong sound sometimes works correctly now. [*]Trick Room and Wonder Room will now be used if the opponent switches in a Pokemon that dies to Stealth Rock. [*]Battle Bond works now. Water Shuriken gets 20 BP and always hits 3 times with activated Battle Bond. Greninja with Battle Bond is not yet catchable. [*]Stance Change works now. [*]King's Shield works now. [*]Mega Evolutions are implemented now. Megastones cannot be removed in battles (via Knock Off, Trick or Thief f.e.). NPCs can mega evolve their Pokemon correctly now. Pokemon can hold Megastones but Pokemon holding Megastones and Megastones are not tradable. More and more Megastones will be available in-game with new content over time. [*]If a Pokemon dies before the opponent used a move the move will be used and fail now. This is the correct behaviour, triggers choice items lock and reveals a possible new move. [*]Fixed a bug where Destiny Bond killed the wrong Pokemon. [*]Fake Out and Truant work correctly with U-Turn, Volt Switch and Baton Pass now. They used to fail if used after getting switched in via one of these moves. [*]Tailwind works correctly with Prankster now. Prankster should be fully fixed with that. [*]Filter works now. [*]Added [iCODE]/draw[/iCODE] command in Ranked PvP battles. [iCODE]/draw[/iCODE] only works in PvP battles and ends without a winner or loser. Draw requests can only be sent alternately to avoid spam requests. The draw requests expire after 30 seconds. [*]Technician works properly now. It didn't use the base power before. [*]Expert Belt works properly for physical moves now. [*]Fixed three bugs that possibly made your PvP battles go stuck. The first bug happened when both Pokemon died with Weather Effects involved. The second bug happened when you went in Queue with a dead Pokemon. That's the bug where you summoned a Pokemon and it instantly died and made your battle stuck. [*]The third bug was a combination of switching moves and Choice lock items. [*]Fixed an urgent bug in received and sent mails. [*]Removed Xanascript shops entirely from the server code. [*]Added user.gender in Python. [*]Changed quite a bit of the client-server API. We use the UID instead of the index in many cases now. [*]Pokemon instantly get an UID now. [*]Fixed a bug with the max visible users. The code was simply wrong and caused that users stopped moving, disappeared or took too long to appear. Reworked NPC LoS with the same code. [*]Fixed a bug where Xanascript NPCs returned the wrong Hidden Power. [*]Client battle code completely reworked and battle animations slightly changed. This does not include attack animations. Known Issues in Mega Edition These are no new bugs but affect this update Multi-hits do not heal absorb abilities (escept Water Absorb). Multi-hits do not have Independent calculations.

Next weekend, on the 14th of August, we celebrate PRO's 5th anniversary and because of that huge milestone, we decided to host a Hide and Seek Event, a communities all time favourite. This time, the reward will be a randomly generated Shiny Druddigon! width=440px https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/427203276287508492/741776832696680468/pokemon.png[/img] The event will take place on Saturday, the 15th of August at 18:00 GMT+2 for the Silver Server. Once it's finished for the Silver Server, the one on the Gold Server will start (about 1 hour later). A temporary chatroom will be created for the event, and if you want to participate, make sure to join the chatroom a few minutes before the event starts. Use the command /cgjoin HideAndSeek to join the chatroom. Before the event starts, we will briefly describe how the event works and answer a few questions in case there are any. This Hide and Seek Event is a Hide and Seek with two different types of riddles. First, Staff Member will give hints in the created chatroom about where they are hiding every five minutes. Once you found a Staff Member, pay close attention to your Local Chat. Staff Members will post a riddle which you need to solve to find the clue for the Pokemon that is asked for. You will need to find all Staff Members to gather all clues about the Pokemon in question. Once solved, riddles provided by Staff Members will be linked to a Pokemon's: - Required Pokemon - Required Gender - Required Nature - Required Ability - Required Region to be caught in The sixth and final hint in the created chatroom will lead to the position where Shinohara is hiding. The first person to trade Shinohara with the correct Pokemon, wins a randomly generated Shiny Druddigon. Example of a riddle for a hidden Staff Member, who has a clue for the Pokemon in question: You can bring back life in here. The Pokémon here are of an ancient language. [spoiler=Solution]Pokemon: Seel - Make sure to have all kinds of Synchronize Pokemon at your disposal. - You need to catch the Pokemon AFTER the event has started. Anyone who tries to submit a Pokemon that was caught before the event started will immediately disqualified. - The Pokemon has to be your OT (Original Trainer). - A completed subway and teleport quest will give you an advantage over people who haven't completed the quests. Despite the fact that the Name, Gender, Nature, Ability and Required Region to be caught in are in this specific order, does not mean that the hidden Staff Members will give out riddles in that exact order too. - Keep in mind that participating Staff Member will have their PMs disabled. Furthermore, there will not be any extra clues and you will not be able to ask for them either. - You are free to participate in both servers if you make use of Server Transfer.   7. Yes, its me again with an suggestion. So i've been repel hunting for a while on PRO, but the thing that just came to my mind is "An Automatic Repel Device" After completing Hoen region u are able to do a side quest for an "Automatic Repel Device" Its an item u can put repels in and u can choose the amount (Max 10 repels.) An Automatic Repel Activator has been suggested in 2017 (9th August by @CyBeR54) His thread got closed and haven't seen any answers underneath his forum post, thats why im requesting it. :CharYay:

  8. Ever since the announcement of the Guild Island, I have wanted to give feedback about it, but have been unable to due to time constraints and lack of motivation. Firstly, I am upset with how long we have been promised a Guild Island, only for it to not even be available to my guild (or most other guilds!) Secondly, I have privately made my opinions known to several staff members, but in light of recent events, it seems appropriate to make my feelings public. I am aware that regardless of the opinions of myself or the playerbase at large, the staff might refuse to make substantive changes to the Guild Island. As the leader of a guild, I was very excited when I first heard of the concept of a Guild Island around two years ago. I was excited for new features for guilds aside from the Guild chat, the logo, and EXP boosts. I was excited because there is not much for Guilds to do. All that excitement shattered when I heard that the Guild Island was to be for the top 3 PvP Guilds only. We were told that it would make the Guild PvP ladder more competitive - but it has instead had the opposite effect. PvP players have largely coalesced in three guilds on each server - making it virtually impossible for any other guild to have a chance. With regard to the work put in to 'earn' access to Guild Island - was there ever really a question as to whether or not you would make it? You would play PvP regardless for the singleplayer rewards. I agree that PvP guilds should get something, but I cannot fathom why it has to be Guild Island, which is largely PvE content. From the last thread which was posted in March, it seems that quite a few people agree with my point of view. There should be a way for small or PvE guilds to unlock this feature. It is demotivating for Guilds that are not established in PvP to try to get into the scene as the top 3 are already full of experienced players. There are a plethora of good suggestions as to how to do this - there could be a special area within the Island for the top 3 guilds, for example - or, perhaps, guilds outside the top 3 could be expected to buy in on a monthly basis. Furthermore, I feel that PvE in general has been neglected as of late. There have been a lot of changes tailored to the PvP playerbase, including new legendaries and a NPC which allows you to keep sets for legendaries. When will there be new permanent PvE content that isn't just another boss? Why is the only recent major PvE update restricted to PvP players? Why do staff not consult players for PvE topics, while there is a thread every other week for PvP? Lastly, it has become ever more difficult for smaller Guilds to recruit players. When I try to recruit, the first question I am asked is always some variation of "Are you a top 3 Guild?" or "Does your Guild have Guild Island?" It's horrible and demotivating. PvE Guilds and players deserve better.

  11. Assistance with? We like to use common sense to solve a situation like this. The start price is 1m, if the thread mentions 5k insta you can safely assume it is a typo. We will not force a trade to gain a Pokémon this way. If you tag one of us please make sure it is absolutly needed, if you wish to gain information about what to do in a certain situation you can make a post in the General Support section, not on someones auction.   12. Hi Staff, I want to make a suggestion. As you know, many people around the world have low internet speed with repetitive cuts especially when we are in bug catching area. So please, if a player loses internet or disconnects when he is in bug catching or any other place give him an opportunity when he relog to continue BCC or reset the bug catching contest cooldown for him.

  14. Hey reporting this bug. But I've been hunting metang for about two months praying for a shiny one ,and it usually takes about 40-60 ultra balls to catch the Pokemon when its asleep on 1 hp. Ever since the mega update the Pokemon catch rate has been broken. I am now able to catch metang within the first ball or if it's a very bad run first five balls at 1 hp asleep. I had two of my friends come ,and try to verify the catch rate was off ,and that I wasn't losing my marbles Lubbok ,and Iceflake assisted. They both caught metang within there first three balls.   32. Hello Sundrean, Just try to let it faint 1 time, then log out, close your Client for about 30 secs, log back in, heal up and then lvl it up again. That should usually fix the Problem. Please let me know if the problem was solved. Greetings, M3ru3m

  33. You can log out and log in again and Chansey should be able to evolve into Blissey upon level up. If this does not work, let Chansey faint once, then keep fighting pokemon until you can evolve it again :)

There were many games played, many victories and many defeats. I'm testing a lot of teams to get used to the PRO goal.

  39. Hi. Before starting, let me disclaim that I am not the one that makes the decisions on the game zoom, but I did participate in the discussion around it before it was implemented. Staffview, just like its name implies, was never meant to be available for players, only for testing purposes. However, we are aware that many players, myself included, have gotten themselves used to staffview, and the new zoom system may be difficult to get used to. That said, what has been said in the announcement is not the full reasons for the implementation of the new game zoom system. It serves as well to fix the following problems: - Playing on a lower resolution left the player with almost no vision on the default game zoom. We wanted players to not be penalized for playing on a lower resolution. - As Content Scripters and Mappers, we were unable to determine the field of view of players. For CS, having every player with the same field of view allows us to better determine ranges such as how far a trainer can see the player, or from which range players can see NPCs during a scripted event. For Mappers, this makes it possible to create maps that favor exploration, as they no longer have to assume players can see the whole map at once. - Having to open the console and type staffview every time you launched the game was inconvenient. It's much more ideal to be able to launch the game and have the same game zoom from the last session. - Having to control the game zoom from the console was also not ideal. It's better to have everything in the option menu. That said, much of the current content assume a larger game zoom, and we are aware this can potentially cause problems, such as trainers challenging the player from offscreen. The game zoom no longer being a round number also makes the pixel ratio inconsistent, which is personally what I don't like. We are still opened to feedback, but in order to evaluate compromises and alternatives, we need more constructive feedback. What exactly do you dislike about the new game zoom? If you think the field of view needs to be increased, can you show us locations where the current game zoom is objectively making it hard to navigate or is causing other problems?
