The lack of motivation is completely understandable. Who wants to hunt a Pokémon with 0 PvP Viability and 0 use in bosses, right? We honestly thought players would be more motivated by a low-tier spawn, since hunting high-tiers can be frustrating in its own way. Catching 200 Bidoof seems simple on paper, but when you take into account the time to use False Swipe, a status move like Spore, throwing the ball to catch it, and submitting them, it adds up and takes quite a while. Some players did not use False Swipe or a status move to catch the Bidoof and it still took a substantial amount of time to complete their portion of the IVs. Bidoof was chosen simply because it was Bidoof Day, a day what was announced by the Pokémon Company only a few days before the World Quest. Our intentions were to give the players an opportunity for another Mysterious Ticket and incorporate the recently announced Bidoof Day into PRO. Unfortunately, it didn't go as planned and many players were frustrated, even angry, as us. From my perspective, both sides have their faults, but it is our job to provide you all with an enjoyable time playing the game and its quests. Safe to say we did not accomplish that goal that day, but we will not give up. There will be more events, more World Quests, and in general more content that we hope you will enjoy.

The World Quest was not meant as a troll. The system message with the picture afterwards was undeniably a troll and inexcusable. For that, you have my sincerest apologies.

@Ruru69 Your auction has been investigated and unfortunatly the player made a fake offer. The runner up has been contacted as well and he isnt able to pay the 4m anymore which leads to the last option, voiding your auction. You can create a new auction for your Pokémon if you wish, this one will be locked and the user has been punished for his behaviour. Apologies for the inconvenience, Sincerely Hawluchaa

As the screenshot states as well, exactly like you mentioned too, context is important. If the word is used as a way to insult someone, that's where it is punished. Obviously, if that's used in a non-offensive way or simply in a context where it does not mean any offensive thing, then it is not punished. In this case, it was used to insult someone who had scammed another user and as a way to insult him for having done that, and therefore it was punished. Context matter, and is always considered. However, context does not justify the violation of any rule as said before. If someone insult you, you are not allowed to insult them back or similar cause at that point both of you will have broke the rules and will get both punished. We have a report center exactly to handle the rule violations

Anyone who is opposing staff either on point or not , take a moment to thank @Shinohara for his massive time he spent to read carefully each of every comment and explain in a massive detailed comment each one mostly and for this thread overall , at the end of the day , try to understand aside from the personal issues or the general complaints overall that he is dedicating massive amount of time that I personally while following up this thread and just observing can't keep up with his further detailed explanations. All I can say to all the ladies & gentlemen here , ask for positive outcomes that can help maintain good suitable ways for both sides the way it should be rather than focusing high lighting every issue and debate it over and over. I have been living among the British for 3 years now and I can say that the word Prick isn't an insult word. It was actually a "love" curse to say. I never feel being insulted by that word under any circumstances and it is 100% differ from the word [sausage]. Picture shows a small petition to see if prick is a swear word with nearly 70% choose No. I sometimes use the word Prick to my friend too and I don't want to be banned like @666G0D999did before. My suggestion is unless it is obvious curse like "F*ck,", the word should be discuss with the player, on what context is he/she using and why he/she uses it, with obvious screenshot so he/she can explain for him/herself because base on the language and context, it could be something else (sometimes I don't even remember what I said in the past)

Hello, Sorry for the inconvenience, I have found the reason why you did not get the Reroll Ticket as reward after saved Joey. You've mentioned that you lost the first fight when against Kyurem, this is the reason why Joey's Mom doesn't give you the Reroll Ticket. (As you have to defeat Kyurem without losing in order to receive the Reroll Ticket Rewards). The requirement to receive Reroll Ticket from Joey's Mom is already listed in the video you've provided and in Kyurem Quest Guide, which mean it is work as intended and not bugged. @alfatrion1980s You cannot withdraw bids once placed, as instructed in the Auction Rules: Since it didn't generate inconvenience and you have the means to go through what you bid, this will just be a warning but be wary that repeated in the future will lead to punishment. Your post has been edited to its original state. Bids should be carefully thought out before being placed, there is no excuse for oversights. Take care.

I could care less about the people who did not participate in this whole Bidoof wq thing. I'm just sad for the people who wasted their money and time getting the Bidoofs. However I think the main reason, (even if we don't want to say it is), we aren't mad at staff, we are mad at other players. This whole Bidoof thing was all about teamwork. If everybody pitched in, the quest would have been done in no time, but seeing as most people were discouraged from doing the quest, we got this. Accept it it wasn't staffs fault it was ours, in a way.

@Shinohara this is a bit off topic , just one thing , calling someone a prick vs calling someone a [sausage] is like calling someone stupid vs calling them a dumbass , they are both insults but kind of don't have the same weight and aggression . Sorry, I just heard "we don't care about your complaints" since even you got it done the wq is because you though it boring and massive, not well elaborated quest. The points is have 200 active people that made the sinnoh quest to get easy access to Bidoff, myself for example got it done 1 day before the event start, literally 1 day before; in the same idea it wasn't thinking to new guys get it completed since they still need a lot to do, this wq was for veterans only. Second point, the server was unstable and you guys made a few shutdown for fix some bugs, like mailbox, this took time for some and their pacience too. And the last one, yes it was massive alot Bidoff to catch, "but he is common" imagine some people buying 40k in pokeballs, for sure more than that cause isn't always 1 pokeball to caught, counting the highest amount he needs and the time he will waste, others wq I know people that done in 30 minutes maybe less, like I said not well elaborated wq cause it was used to say sorry for the first one and you guys took a shoot on your own foot by doing this, imagine one thing the people was pissed for the first one, for the server crashes, cause we just wanted to play and we couldn't, that's not the compensation we wanted.

Aqua jet give priority +1 same goes to Prankster gives status moves priority +1, which mean when Pokemon from both side having priority +1 situation, they will move according to their speed. In boss fight hard mode, boss have 400 EVs in each stat, which lead to Azumarill is faster than your Mega Banette, in that case, Aqua Jet attack before Prankster-Disable. Unfortunately this was not possible. The quest dictates it should be finished within 24 hours. Regrettably, there were not enough participants to complete the quest and we cannot compensate players for not finishing the required tasks of the World Quest.

Sup, To follow Pinklax's post : I think 3500000 ivs was really to high. You needed 17500 ivs for 0,5%, so ( 17500 ivs / (186 / 2 = 93)) = 188 bidoofs to be potentially safe. Let's say you catch one bidoof each min, the result will be 3 hours and 8 min. Then you had to SUBMIT all of them 5 by 5, a horrific task . 188 / 5 = 37,6, so 38 min. It took me 4 hours to do everything mentionned above. But not everyone was hyped, nor had maybe the time to hunt a t1 for 4 hours straight ( Work, Timezone etc...) I understand that Walross had in mind that even if this is such a big number, a t1 is relatively easy to hunt and therefore no problems should have occured. But the difference here is 17500 ivs feel like an enormous mountain to climb on. And not everyone was enough motivated to do it. 100 bidoof max would have been better imo. Let's not forget that there is a certain quantity of newbies that didn't have access to Sinnoh, where bidoof spawns are. So to avoid that end in the future, I would suggest Walross to lower needed ivs, to come back on old WQs where you needed like 1/4 less ivs than the current ones. Those old WQs were a pleasant hunting party. On the other hand, current WQs can be really frustrating for unlucky people if they don't finish it at time with their occupation etc... Take as an example yesterday WQ with Archen that needed 880ish ivs, I know some people that got 2 Archen in 2 hours ! They can't allow themself to stay this amount of time for reasons listed above. Without mentionning the Bidoof one that felt like a FATALITY for some people. After explaining all of this, if the decision hadn't been rushed as Cosanostra said. None of this would have happened. Don't get me wrong, It's ok to do mistakes ! You have a hell of a game, don't waste it. I hope Walross will take this in consideration for next WQs. With all of that said, I wish you a good day. Hi, Once again, we were shown the amateurism within the staff with this world quest. Don’t come and tell me that this has no relation between staff and players. Do you think the players are happy with this world quest? 3,500,000 ivs, that doesn't make sense. Did you take the time to calculate how many bidoofs you had to catch on average to get 0.5%? Did you factor in how long it would take to catch them first? Then finally, the time it took to give them to the mysterious cultist? I sincerely think that some players are angry, including me, and don’t come and tell me that it is the players' fault. Even a simple thing like picking ivs from a word quest you’re not able to do it, so what is it when it's complicated topics? It is frustrating and annoying. Think before making decisions, it will save you from dissatisfaction. In a decision-making process, I think that the reflection comes before the announcement of the decision and finally its implementation. I hope you will at least agree on this point. Best regards,

In order to proceed the quest, you have to finished the quest given by Fisher Freddy, by submitting 3 Magikarp, 2 Finneon, 3 Goldeen, 1 Feebas and 1 Remoraid to him. Once you submitted all the Pokemon, the dialogue "Awesome! I think we are done. The only thing you can really accuse him of is that it could have been discussed in private and that he could have asked beforehand if it was OK to publicly divulge that drama. But you really cannot blame him for answering a direct question in a thread about transparency, come the heck on. I still agree that PreHax acted poorly and I still think he should at least publicly acknowledge that his behavior was straight from the gutter, but I have no reason to distrust Keita when he says that staff does handle it internally which implies PreHax got the instruction to shut up and concentrate on his staff duties for the time being. Look, I'm very sorry that people heckle you about your Patreon, but you should honestly have had the foresight to see that coming.
