  8. Welcome to the Frequently Asked Story Questions Manual! This manual is specifically made for Help chat helpers, Discord Moderators and anyone who is constantly helping in General Support or ingame or in Discord. This guide/manual aims to answer almost all possible story questions unrelated to specific pokemon, pvp stuff, bosses, or anything too in-depth. This guide just answers most Story questions that are repeated nonstop throughout Discord and Ingame. With this handbook, you should be able to help out any newbie! We don't tackle mechanics here, this will be tackled on in other guides. This is the second part this guide will be divided in. This guide will try to cover Story related questions that are commonly asked nonstop everywhere. Here we will tackle the Johto Region, as the other regions will be tackled in future parts! I will be editing this with possible new questions that may arise in the future. (like Missions and other optional stuff) Let’s begin! Q: How do we get to Johto? A: After you have beaten the Kanto Elite Four, you can immediately enter Johto! You need to head to the Victory Road Entrance first. From Pallet Town to Route 1, to Viridian City, west to Route 22 and in front of the Victory Road Entrance. Now we will go South. We will reach Route 27 now. Keep heading southwest to Route 26 and then keep heading west nonstop. You will finally reach an Abra. BIG WARNING: Once you enter Johto, ALL YOUR KANTO POKEMON WILL BE LOCKED IN YOUR PC. You will not be able to use them until you have beaten Johto’s 8 gyms. Unequip any items your pokemon may be holding. When you enter Johto, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO GO BACK TO KANTO ONCE YOU BEAT ALL GYMS. Prepare a LOT of useful TM and items in your bag before you head in, because once you enter, there is no going back! Q: When can we use Dig and check Pokestops in Johto? You can Dig and use the Pokestops after the 8 Johto Gyms are defeated. Q: When can I trade in Johto? Unlike Kanto, you can trade as soon as you reach the first pokecenter, with no badges. Q: Which are the Johto starters? Totodile, Cyndaquil and Chikorita. Personal opinion: Totodile is the best starter. You can teach it Surf, Dig and other useful TM that you can use to rush the region quickly or beat it easily. Most of the moves he learns are amazing. Cyndaquil does not learn as good moves as Totodile but he hits hard and he is useful. Additionally, Cyndaquil is very strong against all Gyms except the last one. Chikorita is literal garbage. If you chose this starter, I would legit recommend you to seek professional help. I don’t understand why. His moveset is bad, he is bad against ALL the gyms in the region. There is NO reason to pick it. NONE. This is the hard/extreme mode for Johto. Q: When can I use my Kanto pokemon again? When you beat 8 badges. You can’t go back now! Q: I can’t enter the first gym! Beat the Sprout Tower in the north in Violet City first. Q: How do we beat the first gym? What type advantage can we use? The first gym is the Flying type gym. This can be easily beaten by using Rock, Electric, Ice and Steel types. You can find some Rock types in Dark Cave and this gym is a breeze. Q: What's the secret pokemon in Bellsprout Tower? It’s a Gastly. Pick it up! If you get a good one it’ll carry you through Johto Q: How do we gain access to Azalea gym? You need to beat the Rocket Grunts in Azalea Well (Slowpoke Well) Q: I can’t beat Christina! She’s too strong! GIT GUD. Just kidding, use a Geodude with Sturdy and Selfdestruct. Easy! Q: How can we beat the second gym? The second gym is the Bug type gym. Rock, Fire, Flying types completely wreck this gym. You can use some Rock and Flying types you found in the previous routes. The Leader’s Scyther is 4 times weak to Rock type attacks! Q: I can’t continue through Ilex Forest! What do I have to do? You must find and catch the Farfetch’d in the Forest. Talk to it so it moves around until it goes back to its owner! Q: This Goldenrod part is very confusing. How do I proceed? I will try to explain it by sorting the questions in the order you must tackle this mini quest. Q: I can’t enter the gym! Where do I go? First you need to talk to the Policeman and Whitney in front of the Radio Tower in Goldenrod. Q: How can we make the policemen fall asleep? Where can we buy the needed item? You first need a pokemon with the move Sleep Powder. There are a few options for this, but the most recommended one is to capture a Caterpie in Ilex Forest, level it to 11 and let it evolve to Metapod, then level it to 12 and let it evolve to Butterfree, and at level 13 you will learn Sleep Powder. Afterwards, you need to purchase two Fresh Water in the top floor of Goldenrod Department Store in the vending machines. Q: The guard does not want to fall asleep! How can we make him fall asleep? The first guard you have to subdue is the one that is in the Underground. There are two houses with entrances to the Underground in Goldenrod: one is to the southwest of the Casino and the other is in the North in Goldenrod. When you go in the Underground, fight a few trainers and you will see a small horizontal corridor in the Underground. The Guard keeps moving in and out of it. To subdue the Guard, you must wait until he is VERY deep in the Corridor. Then, speak to him with a Sleep Powder pokemon and a Fresh Water in your bag, and you will be able to make him sleep. Now, go back to the Policeman in front of Radio Tower and speak to him again. Now you can go and subdue the other one. The other one is in the Basement of the Department Store. Enter the building (it’s the one to the right of the Pokecenter) and enter the Elevator. Go to B1F. Now, talk to the Guard with a Sleep Powder pokemon and a Fresh Water and you will be able to continue! Q: Where is Michael? I need to talk to him! Michael is in a house in the Southeast in Goldenrod. It’s near the original games’ Bike Shop. Q: Where can the stolen pokemon be found? The stolen pokemon are hidden in the Small boxes you will see in this long corridor. You need to talk (interact) with the small boxes. There should be from 5 to 6 pokemon there. Keep in mind they are hidden and you cannot see the pokemon themselves, just the small boxes. Q: The guards keep catching me and I keep being kicked out! How do I avoid them? If a guard spots you, when the ! Message appears, or when they start speaking to you, before this dialogue ends, press the Escape key in your keyboard and click Log Out. Then log back in. You will have escaped this situation without being kicked out. Q: What's the correct lever order? Just so you can know: fighting or not fighting the trainers here DOES NOT AFFECT THE LEVER ORDER. ALL trainers except the Director ARE OPTIONAL. The doors look invisible, but they are that grey mark on each wall that you can clearly see if you look closely. Once you activate a lever, some will let you go through, and some will close down. The correct lever order is: A C D F B E. You can interact with the levers in this order and not fight any trainers until you’ve resolved the entire puzzle and beaten the Director. There is a lever just before the puzzle that resets all the levers so you can retry the puzzle. Buy a few Escape Ropes so you don’t get stuck! Q: What do I do now? When you’ve beaten the Director, talk to the Policeman and Whitney. You’ll now be able to challenge Whitney in her Gym. Q: How do I defeat Whitney easily? Her Clefairy is now a Fairy Type, and it’s weak to Poison and Steel types. Steel types are rare but you can capture Zubat and Spinarak if needed. She is not the real problem though (even if she randomly uses Metronome and she Explodes). The problem is MILTANK The GODDAMN MILTANK. Miltank is a Normal type with very high stats that is only weak to Fighting Type attacks. You can capture a few Makuhita in Slowpoke Well and train them in Route 34. They completely wreck her. You can also use the Drowzee you obtained from the Trade in Goldenrod. Q: Who do we bring the Spearow to? Some Guards block the way in Route 35! You need to bring the Spearow to a Guard just below the Gym in Goldenrod. He’s a bit hidden between houses. He’s below Michael! If this does not work, talk to the NPCs inside of Michael’s House too. Q: A tree is blocking my path in Route 36. How do I move him? Go back to Goldenrod. Enter the house right next to the Gym. Speak to the girl in the left. She will give you the Squirtbottle after you beat Whitney. You’ve finally beaten the entire Goldenrod Quest! Q: What's the abandoned pokemon in Goldenrod? It’s a Spinarak. Q: Where do I get the Macho Brace? There are two NPC in front of Goldenrod Pokecenter. One of them will trade you a Drowzee for a Machop that holds the Macho Brace. You can capture Drowzee in Route 34. He’s very common and easy to find, so capture one and give it to him! Q: What is the Bug Catching Contest? Do we get any rewards? Are there cool pokemon in it? You can read more about the Bug Catching Contest here. There are very rare pokemon you can only find here. Once a day you will have 20 minutes to compete and catch the rarest possible pokemon! You can earn very good rewards, some Megastones, PvP items and hunt some extremely rare pokemon. Try it! Q: Why can’t I enter Ecruteak’s Gym? You need to find Morty in the Burned Tower. Q: What are these three legendary pokemon in the Burned Tower? They are Raikou, Entei and Suicune. They are three obtainable legendaries with their own Legendary Quest you can do later in the game. Q: How can we beat Morty? Morty is probably the hardest Gym Leader (aside from Claire) in Johto. The best way is by using an overleveled Gastly or by using multiple Rattata with Sucker Punch. Sucker Punch will always hit first, with priority, 80 base damage and Dark type, which will demolish him. This move will only work if Morty uses attacking moves against you, but since he’s a bit dumb, he will let you win easily. Ghost and Dark types are the best way to counter him, and Normal types are immune to his Ghost type attacks. Keep an eye on his Gengar, it’s the dangerous one! Q: Why can’t I enter Olivine Gym? You need to visit Olivine Lighthouse first. Q: What do we have to do to help Jasmine's Ampharos? To help Jasmine’s Ampharos, you need to get the Secretpotion In Cianwood City. Q: How can we get the Super Rod? You can only purchase the Super Rod if you previously obtained the Old Rod for free in Vermillion City and purchased the Good Rod for 15k in Fuchsia City. Do not worry if you don’t have them now, you can obtain them later! Q: How do I reach Cianwood City? You need to head west from Olivine City and keep surfing through Routes 40 and 41 to the southwest. Q: Who do we speak to to get the Secretpotion? In the southern house in Cianwood there is an elder woman (she’s literally called Secretpotion Maker, for god’s sake lol). Talk to her and she will give it to you. Q: How do we defeat the 5th gym? The gym in this city is a complete pushover, to be honest. Fighting types are very weak against Fairy, Flying and Psychic types. You can find a lot of Flying and Psychic types on the way to Cianwood. Additionally, Ghost types are immune to Fighting type attacks, so you can use them too! Q: I Defeated Chuck. Now what? Go back to the Lighthouse and give the potion to Ampharos. The leader will now wait for you in Olivine Gym. Q: How do I defeat the gym? She keeps destroying me! This gym is not hard but annoying AS HELL. The main issue is that ALL her pokemon have the ability Sturdy, which makes them be able to survive a hit from full HP. So, how do we cheese this gym? I’ll tell you how NPC Abilities work. Normal trainers and gym trainers pokemons’ abilities are RANDOMISED each time you fight them. The leader has four pokemon that have a 47.5% chance of having Sturdy. This is the most annoying possible situation, the more Sturdy pokemon she manages to have, the more chances she has to survive and wreck you. So, how do you fight her? Her main weaknesses are Ground, Fighting and Fire types. The best bet is to use Ground types because her Electric and Steel types are 4 times weak to our attacks. The issue is that since she has Sturdy, she gets extra chances to live if she gets lucky and her pokemon have Sturdy. Each time you fight her, it will be completely random that she has Sturdy pokemon or not. Each single fight is a different lottery. I suggest you train a few Geodudes with Sturdy and that you spam Earthquake like a madman and try your luck. By brute forcing this way, you will eventually find a chance where most of her pokemon will not have Sturdy. You can also use multiple Makuhita or multiple Fire types and Fighting types to help you in the fight. Good luck! Q: Where do we go now? You now need to go back to Ecruteak. Then, head east. Go through Mt Mortar and reach Mahogany Town. Q: Why can’t I enter the Gym? You need to head north to Lake of Fury as there is a criminal activity going on in Mahogany. Until you resolve it, you cannot beat the gym. Q: What's in Lake of Fury? Where's the Red Gyarados? In the Lake of Fury, the NPC Chappy awaits you. Talk to him by surfing to the middle of the Lake. He will unlock the Mahogany Hideout for you! Also, there is no Red Gyarados in PRO Q: The guards keep catching me! What do I do? You need to defeat the ones that spawn in front of each Statue. If the guards that walk around catch you, remember to log out and log in before their conversation ends. This will reset their position and you will be able to escape them. Q: How do we get the passwords for the doors in Rocket Hideout? This is a really annoying part: There is a room with 8 computers and 8 guards. The password is in a completely random one, so you might only need to defeat one, eight, or some of them to find it. After you defeat each guard, talk to the respective computer. Later, you need to defeat both Jessie and James. One of their computers has the next password. Q: Who do we have to defeat here now? You need to get deeper and defeat Christina and check their computers and talk to Chatot. You’ll get the remaining Passwords. Now, go back to the beginning and help Lance defeat the Electrodes. Q: What can we use to fight against the gym in Mahogany? Thankfully, Ice types are TERRIBLE. Ice Type Pokemon only resist Ice type attacks. They are very weak to Rock, Fighting, Fire and Steel. Since you should have some Fighting and Fire types trained, you can use them to defeat this gym. Rock types also help, but be careful if they are also Ground types, as Ground is weak to Ice. Thick Fat makes Makuhita very strong against Ice types, so he is an amazing choice for this Gym. Q: How do I pick up the Master Ball in Route 44? It’s a troll made by the Scripter Team in PRO. Blame Corsi. :v Q: How can we get through Ice Path? To get through Ice Path, you need to do a small puzzle where you have to technically and theoretically bounce around some rocks until you find the correct order. There is an easier method though. While you are sliding in the cave, press the Escape key. This will stop you immediately and you will be able to then move towards any direction you want. You can use this as much as you want to redirect yourself and skip the Ice Puzzle entirely. Q: What's this cave behind Blackthorn Gym? It’s Dragon’s Den. It’s the best training spot in Johto. You’ll practically live here during your Johto adventure. Q: How can we defeat Claire? You can easily defeat Claire with a few Swinub with Ice Shard. Her pokemon are weak to Ice, Fairy and Dragon types. However, Dragon types defeat each other easily, so this is the worst choice. Fairy types are immune to Dragon type attacks but they are very rare to find. You can farm many Ice Types in Ice Path and train them up in Dragon’s Den. You can purchase TM Ice Beam in Mahogany Gym and spam Ice Beam and Ice Shard through Claire until you win. If you are hardstuck, you can also try using some Geodude/Graveler/Golem with Sturdy and Explosion. Congrats, you just beat the gym! Q: How do I access the cave in Mt Mortar? You can access it after you defeat the Johto Elite 4. Q: How do we get to Johto Elite Four? Where is it? What types do they have? The Johto Elite Four is the building right next to Kanto Elite Four. You only need to go back to Kanto and go to the Elite Four building just like you did the first time. It’s left from the Kanto one. The Johto Elite Four has: Psychic, Poison, Fighting, Dark and Dragon types. The best pokemon to tackle this are Gengar (Shadow Ball, Psychic, Dark Pulse and Thunderbolt/Icy Wind), Alakazam (Psychic + more attacks), Magnezone (Thunderbolt, Flash Cannon and more attacks), Machamp (Dynamicpunch and more attacks), Mamoswine (Earthquake, Ice Shard, Ice Beam and Ancientpower) and Gyarados (Dragon Dance, Earthquake, Ice Fang and Aqua Tail). Also, Clefable. Train in Victory Road until 80 and then keep refighting the Elite Four for infinite experience until you beat it. Psychic is weak to Bug, Ghost and Dark. Poison is weak to Ground and Psychic. Fighting is weak to Psychic, Fairy and Flying. Dark is weak to Bug, Fighting and Fairy. Dragons are weak to Fairy, Dragon and Ice. Q: What's Mt Silver? Mt Silver is the mountain to the left of Victory Road’s entrance. You unlock it once you defeat Johto’s Elite Four. There are Rocket Grunts and Jackson to defeat. Here you can obtain the Seen data for Raikou (the legendary Pokemon), fight the Terminator Boss, train up your Rattata for Hoenn and fight Red to unlock Trainer’s Valley. Q: How do we access Hoenn? What do we have to train? Can it be someone's else's pokemon? To access Hoenn, you need to defeat Youngster Joey. You can only challenge him if you capture a Rattata and train it to level 80. You can have a friend train your Rattata, but you must’ve caught the Rattata yourself. It cannot be a friend’s. I will link here a guide on how to train a Rattata for this fight. Q: Who do we have to beat? You need to defeat Youngster Joey in the Indigo Plateau, between both Elite Four buildings. His team is formed by 6 level 120 Rattata. If you lose to him you will have to wait 2 hours to rechallenge him. His team can be easily beaten by a Machamp with No Guard and Dynamicpunch. Good luck! Once you enter Hoenn, the same restrictions as when you entered Johto will be applied. You can choose whether to go to Hoenn immediately or not. Talk to the Hoenn Traveler when you’re ready!

  11. The Unofficial Guide to Smeargling This will be a guide on how Smeargle is used in pvp and how you can use it in your team to gain the upperhand, since everyone wants strong Pokemon in their team, so why not use the best? Disclaimer: I do not take responsibility for any rating lost due to the advice/teachings from this guide, only real chads should use Smeargle, if you are randy just go use ribombee or something lole. Firstly, we shall take a look at @Jorogumo's op PRO PvP Viability Rankings (https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/topic/163742-pro-pvp-viability-rankings-updated/) It seems Joro's addition of Smeargle in the S-tier bugged out sadly, but it is fine. He does not know the secrets we do Jokes aside, let us begin. Why is Smeargle viable in pvp despite its LC-tier stats? If we look pass it's pathetic stats you will see that Smeargle can learn any (YES ANY!) move. With the exception of Chatter. (Shoutout to @Valory for the useless information and forcing me to change this part) And it can fit in any team bar stall because it dies to the zubats in mt.moon using absorb. (Big thank you again to @Valory for more useless information and forcing me to change this line too). How can it fit in any team you might ask? Let us look at the kind of team it is most commonly used in, Hyper Offensive. Hyper Offensive usually consists of 1-2 Suicide leads and filled to the brim with extremely offensive Pokemon (Well, duh the name says it all) So why should we use Smeargle over randy Pokemon like Excadrill (cringe)? As I said before it has the ability to learn any move. Therefore, it is able to counter most common leads and set up its own hazards/cripple enemy Pokemon. Another reason is it's ability, Walmart Inner Focus, to avoid confusion which may come in handy since confusion really messes with suicide leads that depend on their focus sashes. Here are some of the sets (but not all) I use on Smeargle (https://pokepast.es/6b90ee854d8f7c47) being able to glare offensive pokemon to cripple them, counter or mirror coat to take out Pokemon with 1 move and set up stealth rocks/webs/any other hazards you might prefer is very valuable for Hyper Offense especially when all of these happen on the first Pokemon. What are the viable natures for a chad Pokemon such as Smeargle? Well, anything with +speed really, but there are other factors to keep in mind. For example, if you are running counter/mirror coat you want to go hasty/naive respectively, so as to take additional damage from u-turn/volt switch, dealing more damage to the Pokemon switching in. So why else would Smeargle be chad? Smeargle clearly can run alot of value moves as I have mentioned above, but what about instead of giving yourself value with Smeargle, you devalue the opponent's team? With the ability to run 4 moves that can take out 1 or more Pokemon instantly, can quite literally destroy the foundation of the enemy's team/plans. For example, taking out Chansey in a Skarmory/Chansey defensive core or instantly taking out the opponent's biggest threat to your team. Making Pokemon a 5v5 game (Pokemon Unite xd) where the opponent has to play in your terms is deathly. Here is a replay of me vs c0mp in the Ascension-New Leaf tour match, I mean don't watch the end because...obviously I won hehe...c0mp is too good men (https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen7ou-1450487345) And there you have it, a short and simple guide to using Smeargle, the chad Pokemon. In line with it being an artist, you have to be creative when playing around with Smeargle. I hope this guide was useful to you, else you could just listen to Joro which is probably more sound advice. Thanks for reading my (chad Smeargle user) guide. 20 Million Subs and Ill make part 2. o/

  13. Hello there big nerds! I ended up having 9 PvP Metagross and there's some I don't really need. To make it special, I've decided to put two of them on sale. All the benefits will go towards paying the Christmas Events for both my guild (which you can find in my signature and join if you want) and towards gifting newbies some stuff in Gold Server. These two are in a package TOGETHER. If you win the auction, you get both! Start: 1.5m Minimum bid: 100k No insta Auction will last 24 hours from the first bid being posted here. The only payment method is Pokedollars. Any off-topic comments will be immediately reported. Thank you! This is a Gold Server auction. If someone from Silver bids and wins, they must transfer. I ain't moving anywhere lmao

  16. Hey y'all, i just wanted to hop in here today to say my goodbyes. Its been great to have been a part of this diverse and amazing community. I have enjoyed playing the game a lot, especially PvP. Before i leave for good i want to convey my appreciation to the Devs, Mods, Staff and Former Staff who are responsible for the all the fun and great experiences we have in this community. Ive spent most of my time in discord than in-game so a shout out to the DMODs especially NOREX for being so helpful and keeping the community pleasant and fun to hang around. This game would not have been as fun as it was for me if i wasn't a part of RAIDERS. So goodbye to all my fellow Raiders friends Debu, SASHmer, NoobKid Melon, RhP, Muneb, Rednaks, Dunsie and a lots of other Raider folks. And goodbye to my other friends Seoulmate, Ladder boi Toshiki, Rich kid Eevila, Lucifer, Maple, Deathwing, Unoobie, Revix, Kamui, Norex and Hiza. (pretty sure i forgot a lot of ppl here xD). You guys made the experience worthwhile I might seldom visit Discord but i plan to quit the game for good. Have fun y'all !

  22. Hey there @SagaFish There are currently two URLs that tracks how many shinies which currently exist. Each URL has the Dex ID, Pokemon name and how many shinies exists of that Pokemon. But I am not sure if this is regularly updated or not, like with the spawn dumps. Silver server: https://walrosskastanie.com/9f93f2cecb1796826cefe070.txt Gold server: https://walrosskastanie.com/7f4d729b3c61cadaf34e15b5.txt Hope this solves your question. Have a nice upcoming Christmas and hope you are enjoying the Christmas event so far.

  23. Neither of those locations have a repelable spawn, as the levels for Bulbasaur and Charmander are the lowest/exactly the same as the highest one, thus not creating a suitable repel environment to spawn them in for each of the locations you mentioned. Unless I've missed something or the repel trick locations on Reborn bot isn't up-to-date. How repel trick work: To perform the trick, the player simply needs any type of Repel (preferably multiple) and a Pokémon at a specific level at the front of the Party. Specifically, the Pokémon's level must be the same as (or possibly less than) the highest wild Pokémon level in the area. How spawning in PRO works: Common is ranging from 1-3, Uncommon from 4-6 and Rare from 7-9. If a Pokemon is marked as "Rare", it is within a rarity tier of either 7, 8 or 9. Where 9 is the hardest to find on paper. However, this does not mean you won't encounter one at random on your first visit to a new area, as its entirely RNG as explained by @g3n3r4l above. But this has been explained by PRO's own Spawn Editor many times and the newest update regarding this and a good explanation can be found here.

  24. Well charmander and bulbasaur don't have repels as they are starter pokemon. The whole concept of hunting pokemon is based entirely around RNG, which means Random Number Generator. Which basically means that it's entirely random. It could take you two repels, it could take you two hundred repels, it's just random, you generally get an encounter every few repels, but again, entirely random. You'll get some people telling you that the system is bad and it's rigged, and those people are just upset that they found nothing while others found more when they'd done less

  29. Every catchable Pokémon now has its own page. Some may be outdated in terms of learnsets, but everything else should be accurate. As always, if you notice an error, let it be known and it will be fixed.

  30. Delibird Preferred abilities: All 3 are good, depend of your set ! Note: Delibird is a good suicide lead with spikes, rapid spin and counter/destiny bondn Icy Wind is also a good move to lower the speed your opponent and break sash ! Other set: Hustle, Adamant nature, with Choice Band, It has good matchup vs lando, tornadus and Garchomp, since it has access to ice shard that ko Landorus impish after -1 atk and is OHKO after rocks if not intimidated, OHKO offensive Garchomp with Ice Shard, and OHKO tank chomp with Ice Punch, Tornadus cant switch it. Brick Break is a really good move since it ko any Tyranitar, (has a 43% chance to ko relaxed Tyranitar, and is a OHKO after rocks) As last move u can use Drill Peck if your team is weak to Venusaur, but can also use Gunk Shot if u are weak to Clefable, or Destiny Bond

  33. Hi there and welcome to the PRO General Information Guide. This guide is designed to teach you the basics of PRO. This guide will also inform you on the differences from the original games. You black out once all your pokemon are fainted. When you black out, you are sent to your last visited Pokecenter. You will also lose 5% of your current money each time you black out with a maximum of 50.000 Poké Dollar. As stated in the Suggestions Sticky, breeding was removed to fulfill PRO's goal of becoming an MMO. Breeding would make everyone self-sufficient and would therefore ruin the social, economical, and hunting aspects of PRO. For these reasons, breeding will most likely never be added into the games despite the Eggs Tab in your backpacks. The Eggs Tab currently has no function, but it's there for future updates. For Egg moves, you may access them through the Daycare's Egg Move Tutors. For moves only lower evolutions can learn, there is also a Pre-Evo Tutor at the back of every Daycare. For more information on how to unlock the Daycares and its tutors, please refer to the Egg Moves Guide. Most evolutions in PRO are coded according to the Pokemon games. However, there are some changes to evolutions that have been made to certain pokemon. For more information on changes in evolution, please check out the Evolutions Coded Differently thread. The Happiness Bar of a pokemon can be seen in its Pokemon Information Card. To see the exact value of a pokemon's happiness, do /happy <Slot 1-6>. Happiness can be raised in different ways and a Soothe Bell doubles happiness gained. For more information on how to raise happiness, please check out the Happiness Guide. There are a few Legendaries that are obtainable to players as of now. Darkai and Regice are no longer obtainable. However, they have been available to players in the past due to events. More information on how to catch the currently available legendary pokemon can be found in the Legendary Megathread. There are a bunch of legendaries that are obtainable to players with new additions over time. Some legendaries are only available on seasonal repeating events. More information on how to catch the currently available legendary Pokémon can be found in the corresponding Wiki page. In PRO, you can link pokemon in chats by dragging them from your party or PC into the chat. Linked Pokemon in chat can be clicked. This will allow you to see the Pokemon's IVs, Ability, Current Statistics, Nature, Level, Hidden Power and Gender. Ordinary pokemon are linked in Teal. Shiny Pokemon are linked in Purple. Pink Pokemon are linked in Pink. Event pokemon have their corresponding link colors. Your pokemon are locked each time you enter a new region. You regain access to locked pokemon after the 8th gym of the region you are in. This was done to ensure difficulty and fairness in completing regions. To access your pokemon's Information Card, simply click on your pokemon's icon in your party or your PC. It contains the pokemon's ID Number, Region, Level, Gender, Happiness, Ability, Nature, OT, Moves, Current Statistics, IVs, EVs, and Moves. The white statistic is the Pokemon's current overall stat value. Natures work the same as in normal games. They have different effects on your Pokemon's statistics. Therefore, the green statistic is boosted while the orange statistic is lowered. If none are colored, then your nature is neutral and does not affect statistics. For further information regarding Pokémon stats, check out the stat explanation's guide. EVs and IVs work the same as in the normal games. The orange values are the pokemon's IVs while the blue values are the pokemon's EVs. Below is an example of a Pokemon Information Card. Just like the original games, PRO's shiny chance is 1/8192. The chance of Pink Pokemon on Pinkan Island is 1/1500. Event pokemon have their own corresponding spawn rates. For more information on special pokemon rates, feel free to check out the Special Counterparts Thread. In order to trade, use the mailbox, and use the Trade channel, you'll need to have the Rainbow Badge. You cannot accept pokemon from regions you have not been in yet or if you are locked in a region. Please screenshot all your deals and trades for incase you are scammed. If you have experienced this, please upload the screenshots and report said player in the Report Center. Please refer to the Forum Images Guide for how to add photos in a thread. Please be sure to check out the Trade Rules before involving in a Trade. The more fully evolved your pokemon is, the more difficult it is to level up. Switching pokemon in and out will cause the lower leveled pokemon to gain less experience. Not all trainers reward EXP points, depending on the type and function of the NPC. The Exp Share and Lucky Egg do not exist in PRO to add difficulty along with the goal of making PRO an MMO. Levels of certain NPCs/Bosses are not disaplayed. However, they still have a current value set. Pokemon learn certain moves after reaching the required level or by TM's or HM's. Most moves and Abilities are coded and work properly but not all. For more information on moves like these, please check out the the List of Broken Moves and Abilities. You may keep an eye out in our Update Logs for when moves or abilities are coded. Take note that there are also some moves that are banned in Ranked PvP. Please be sure to check out the PvP Rules before engaging in Ranked PvP. NPCs and Wild Pokemon are smarter than in the original pokemon games. This means that they actually know how to use their movesets. They will often select a move that is super effective against your pokemon rather than a random move. PRO has currently three different PvP modes. Ranked, Unranked and Random. Ranked battles have a catch: 1 PvP Coin per win and the Ranked Ladder, but battles are regulated by PvP Rules. PvP Coins can be spent at PvP Masters in Vermilion, Olivine, Mauville, and Canalave. To join a Ranked battle, use the PvP icon, choose Ranked and wait in queue. You will then have 30 seconds to change your team's order, based on what you know thanks to the Team Preview. Unranked battles, on the contrary, are just for fun, nothing is at stake, therefore no rules are to limit them. To join an Unranked battle, you can use the PvP icon and choose Unranked then wait in queue. You can also use /battle <username>, or right click on someone's name and choose Battle to start an unranked battle. The Random battle mode is a mode where you and your opponent get six random Pokémon with random, preselected movesets. The teams of the battle participants are hidden in the beginning of the battle, all Pokemon have a neutral Nature, 31 IV's and a 85 EV invest in all stats. PvP Coins are only rewarded for every win in excess of a loss; for example, a 5-3 record that season would earn two Coins. The top-25-ranked players in a PvP season are rewarded an additional 100 Coins, which effectuates at the season's official conclusion. Regular Trainers have a 7 day cooldown. Trainers won't force battle you anymore though. Bosses have a 12 Day cooldown. Gym Leaders can be re-battled after beating the Elite 4, the Elite 4 itself can not be rebattled once defeated. TMs are single use unlike some newer Pokemon games. Gym Leader TMs are bought from the Gym Guide at the entrance of the gym. To use TM Dig outside of battle, you'll need 150+ Happiness on the pokemon with Dig. TM Rock Smash does not usually have a happiness requirement. However, it needs 220+ Happiness in Love Island for crystals. For more information on TMs and where to get them, please check out the TMs, HMs, and Move Tutor Guide. HMs can be reused infinitely. To use HMs out of battle, simply click left click or use the spacebar. To use HM Dive outside battle, you require 150+ Happiness on the pokemon with Dive. To use HM Flash outside of battle, you have to click on the move in your pokemon's Information Card. HM Fly does not have an out of battle effect. For more information on HMs and where to get them, please check out the TMs, HMs, and Move Tutor Guide. There are several Move Tutors scattered around the regions. Each move tutor has its corresponding price per tutee. To use Headbutt outside battle, you require 150+ Happiness on the pokemon with Headbutt. For more information on Move Tutors and their locations, please check out the TMs, HMs, and Move Tutor Guide. Berries cannot be planted by players in PRO. There are set berries in each berry patch. You will have to wait for berries to respawn every 3 days for outdoor berries and 4 days for EV berry trees in mazes. EV Berries are obtained from Headbutting Trees, the Goldenrod Berry Shop or the Berry Tower. For more information on how to acquire Berries and their functions, please check out the Berries Guide. Running Shoes are not implemented in PRO as you already walk 1.5x the speed in normal games. However, Bikes and Mounts are a way to move faster in PRO. Take note that they provide the same speed. You can obtain a Bike by capturing a Ditto with your OT and turning it in to the Youngster in the house right of Vermilion PC. Afterwards, you'll get a Bike Voucher which you can turn in at the Cerulean Bike shop to get a Bike for 60k. Mounts on the other hand can be obtained from Player-Hosted and Official Events, the Coin Shop, PvP/PvE Masters, or bought from other players. The Old Rod can be found in the house on the left side of the Vermilion Mart. The Good Rod can be found in Fuchsia City House 1 for 15k. You must own the Old Rod. The Super Rod can be found in Olivine City House 1 for 75k. You must own the Good Rod. You cannot trade these as they are a key item. Items can be equipped by a pokemon by dragging the item from your backpack to the pokemon's icon in your party. To take an item, simply click on the item in the pokemon's information card. Items can be obtained in various ways. For more information on Items and where they can be obtained, feel free to check out the Items Guide. Please take note that reroll tickets only work on Legendary Pokemon. You are able to purchase a nature reroll ticket for 75 PvP coins from the PvP Masters in Vermilion City, Olivine City, Mauville City and Canalave City. You may also get a Reroll Ticket for 150 PvP coins there too, which can be used to reroll your legendary’s IVs. In addition, you can talk to the Reroll Ticket Exchanger in Vermilion to get two Nature Reroll Tickets for one Reroll Ticket. Besides purchasing tickets for PvP coins, you may also buy them off of other players in the Trade chat. You may also get them from various quests like the Battle Tower and Solaceon News Reporter quests. After purchasing, you will have to go to Psychic Marina in Vermilion City who will reroll your Nature/IVs for the Nature reroll Ticket or Reroll Ticket respectively. Please take note that it will take the coupons before your coins. She also offers a double reroll mode, where you reroll your Pokemon twice while spending only one reroll. This works up to ten times in a certain time period when you spent some fee or Mysterious Ticket.
