  1. INTRODUCTION - (Make sure to open the spoilers) - Lets get straight to the point, Excavation Sites need an update. The last big change to Excavation Sites was about 1 1/2 years ago, so the spawns and features have been very stale for quite some time already. Now I know that scripters and other staff members are extremly busy and try their best to get out new content like events, megastone-quests and much more but I still want to put out this suggestion as Excavation Sites are a great PvE task you can do from time to time or even daily which makes the game much more enjoyable for a lot of players. I dont want Excavation Sites to be forgotten and since the question about new spawns etc. keeps getting repeated on every previous Q&A-Stream, this thread can also serve as some sort of a platform for everyone to share their ideas and opinions on this topic. Maybe if all the megastone-quests are done there is some time to make some changes to the Excavation Sites. TL;DR SPAWNS & ITEMS Credits for some provided ideas Change Pokemon Spawns Straight to the most important thing regarding Excavation Sites, the Spawns. The Spawns have not been changed for a long time and it is simply not fun nor rewarding to catch the same pokemon over and over again. Previous changes introduced outbreak- and event-exclusive pokemon which make certain pokemon very special and hard to obtain. Adding some of these to Excavation Sites would be a first step to make them very interesting and rewarding again while still keeping them balanced as there are only a limited number of spawns you can get daily. Events and Outbreaks which have these pokemon as spawns would still be special as you can hunt them actively on these. Other pokemon got more attractive recently as well. With the introduction of their mega-evolution some previously ignored pokemon became relevant and most of these would make a very good addition to Excavation Sites. Another thing I want to suggest are pokemon which are exclusive to Excavation Sites like new Gen7 pokemon, as this would raise them to another level of interest. TL;DR Balancing the Spawns I dont know exactly how the spaw-mechanics etc. work but I tried to suggest the spawns in a way to make them somewhat balanced while keeping the theme of the different Excavation Sites. However the suggested changes are obviously not perfect and probably need more in-depth balancing. I would suggest to keep/add very good and exclusive spawns to the Excavation Sites and to balance the cooldown or the entry-costs instead. By increasing the cooldown or the entry-costs instead of the actual spawns Excavation Sites will feel exciting and worth while doing them. TL;DR Spawn Change Suggestions (Note: These are just examples to give some ideas for spawn changes, feel free to share your thoughts and ideas in the comments) Credits for some ideas on the spawn changes and source for provided data Feral Site Historical Site Haunted Site Mineral Site Glacial Site Natural Site Wondrous Site Briny Site Draconic Site Changes to available items First of all Fossils fit well into Excavation Sites and can even be synched with an NPC in the Historical Site. Revival Herbs are always useful for rather new players and can still be useful to more advanced players as they can be used on quests, events, leveling pokemon etc. While Heal and Energy Powder may be useful to a certain extend to newer players, they feel like a waste for most of the playerbase after a while. I would suggest to change them to items which are pretty much always needed and useful like Vitamins (Protein, Iron, HP Up etc.) or make Heal and Energy Powder exchangable for Artifact pieces. I think the previous change which added different rare items (Rare Bone, Nuggets, Pearls etc.) in the different Excavation Sites was not thought through well enough as less-valuable items are more common and make it harder to encounter pokemon because of that while valuable items are too rare to have an impact. Therefor less-valuable items should be removed and replaced with more valuable items. That way its less likely to find items and more likely to actually encounter rare pokemon. Since the different items seem to have different drop-rates I suggest to replace all items with the same item for every Excavation Site to make it more balanced. Replacing all the items with a Nugget seems to make the most sense as it has a decent value and is not found too often which makes it more likely to encounter a pokemon. The chance for a Big Nugget should be increased as its near impossible to find it (I personally found only one while increasing my Excavation Rank from 10.000 to 36.000+). This makes achieving an Excavation Rank of 10.000 to unlock the Draconic Site and that particular Excavation Site less worth and that is a clear balance-issue in my opinion. To give some further insight regarding this, @JustLegend did some research on Excavation Sites some time ago. The data he collected shows that 47 Tiny Mushrooms and 0 Big Nuggets were found after 28 days of doing every Excavation Site. Because of this it is somewhat harder to encounter pokemon in the Haunted Site which is another balance-issue. Make sure to check out his thread for more in-depth data regarding Excavation Sites. Credits for provided data TL;DR Changes to Artifact Pieces Store For most of the time my personal experience with the Artifact Pieces shop has been that I would only buy Focus Sashes as these are the most valuable items you can get and they are rather easy to sell. Most other items are not worth their price, are not needed or have other sources you can get them from easily. To give Artifact Pieces a better use I suggest to lower some prices in a balanced way to make it worth buying other items than focus sashes and a few other items. Balancing prices and available items is not easy by any means but I tried to come up with fair prices based on a calculation. To understand the suggested Artifact Pieces prices and that calculation you need to know some numbers. For a full Excavation Site run we end up with an average of 64 Artifact pieces (I used 60 for cleaner calculations) and a Focus Sash costs 6 Artifact pieces and sells for about 2.000 - 2.500 Pokedollar (I used 2.000 Pokedollar for the calcuation). Buying 10 Focus Sashes for 60 Artifact Pieces and selling them for 2.000 Pokedollar each leads to a daily profit of 20.000 pokedollars. Example of the calcuation based on a Reroll Ticket: -> Reroll Ticket (2.250) -> 750.000 / 20.000 = 37.5 -> 37.5 x 60 = 2.250 -> Reroll Ticket (2.250) -> 750.000 (Current average price of a Reroll Ticket) / 20.000 (daily profit from selling Focus Sashes) = 37.5 (days to purchase a Reroll Ticket from another player if selling the Focus Sashes daily) -> 37.5 x 60 (Artifact Pieces gained daily from a full Excavation Sites run) = 2.250 (price of a Reroll Ticket in Artifact Pieces) The goal is to end up with item prices which are somewhat balanced in a way that makes the items worth buying instead of selling the Focus Sashes and buying the desired items from another source. Fossils: I dont know why Omanytes and Kabutos Fossils are not available yet but I would suggest to add them as they are the only missing Fossils. I think the prices for Fossils are too expensive overall but I did not change them too much since I dont know if there is some in-depth balancing behind that and the fact that they are untradable. Vitamins: Adjusted the prices so you are able to buy 10 Vitamins after a full Excavation Sites run. Consumables: Adding certain items like Reroll Tickets to the Artifact Pieces Shop makes Excavation Sites even more lucrative. However I did not suggest more random items to keep the theme of the Excavation Sites alive for the most part but I think Reroll Tickets can be a very good addition as they serve as a more or less long-term-goal players can work for. Battle Items: Adjusted the prices based on the explained calculation. I did not suggest additional items as the already existing ones fit the Excavation Sites them perfectly well. TM Moves: Adjusted the prices based on the explained calculation and added the TM for Substitute since it is only available in Trainers Valley so far. Gems: Adjusted the prices so you are able to buy 10 Gems after a full Excavation Sites run. It could be considered to lower the prices even further given the Gems cheap price in Pokedollars and easy obtainability on dig spots but they can be used on the Recycle NPC as well which could possibly lead to imbalanced results. Evolution Items: Adjusted the prices based on the explained calculation. Damage-reducing Berries: Adjusted the prices so you are able to buy 10 Berries after a full Excavation Sites run. Since stat-modifying berries like the Salac berry are still rather hard to come by I think they would create great interest towards the Excavaton Sites. Mega Stones: Since obtaining 1.000 Artifact Pieces to purchase a megastone takes over 2 weeks of full Excavation Site runs and megastone-quests usually do not take longer than a 1-2 days at most for the majority of the playerbase I would suggest to lower the price a little bit to 600. While I think adding megastones exclusive to Excavation Sites is a good way to make them interesting again it should be considered that some players do not like to do Excavation Sites as well. I think lowering the price from 1.000 to 600 Artifact Pieces would be a good change which could motivate some players to do more Excavation Sites again. Obviously players who already bought the megastones for the original price of 1.000 Artifact Pieces would need to get compensated with the extra Artifact Pieces. Exclusive Cosmetic Items Shoutout to @dangarangs for the idea and some examples. https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/topic/155148-excavation-only-cosmetics/ Adding Cosmetics and Mounts exclusive to Excavation Sites would make them a lot more interesting for not only advanced but for newer players as well. These items would give players another long-term goal depending on the price. It could be considered to make some Cosmetics and Mounts unlockable after reaching a certain Excavation Rank which would give the Excavation Rank another purpose after reaching the 10.000 mark to unlock the Draconic Site. The prices of these exclusive items would come down to the fact if they are tradable or not. TL;DR ADDITIONAL IDEAS Option to see available Excavation Site Spawns While I know its possible to check an Excavation Sites Spawns using the Reborn Bot I still think it would be a great addition for some players to know which pokemon are obtainable on the different Excavation Sites. It would be very useful to know which synchronize should be used especially. Since I dont know if its possible to add the spawns on the drop-menu on the top-left this could be done by wandering pokemon, NPCs giving hints on dialogues, signs which explain pokemon sightings etc. instead. Artifact Pieces to spawn rare pokemon I think the option to spawn certain pokemon available on the Excavation Sites would be a great addition. Once again it could be considered to make some pokemon unlockable after reaching a certain Excavation Rank which would give the Excavation Rank another purpose after reaching the 10.000 mark to unlock the Draconic Site. It could be done similar to the already existing system to spawn pokemon for PvE Coins. A changing pool of rare pokemon available in Excavation Sites which can be spawned for Artifact Pieces at an NPC. Additional Excavation Rank Rewards Currently the highest Excavation tier is Tomb Raider at 8.000+ discoveries and the 10.000 mark is the last useful rank since it unlocks the Draconic Site. I would suggest to award players for every additional 1.000 discoveries to give them another goal to grind for after achieving the 10.000 mark. It probably would make the most sense to reward players with a certain amount of Artifact Pieces. In addition players could unlock exclusive Cosmetics/Mounts and rare pokemon spawns for Artifact Pieces as mentioned earlier. Changes to Shiny Rocks I think Shiny Rocks should always have a pokemon instead of a chance for an item or even nothing. Getting a shiny out of Excavation Sites is already extremly rare and getting an item or nothing out of them is just frustrating and does not feel rewarding at all. I personally have gotten one shiny at 60.000+ Excavation Rank to give some further insights. ENDING WORDS I am well aware that not all of the suggested changes have a chance to get added to the game but I hope that at least some of these ideas will be considered and added in the future to improve the Excavation Sites again.   3. Hello. I would like to suggest adding arrows in the inspecting options in Coin Shop, PvE/PvP Shop, Trainer Card (because it's the first place you're equipping your cosmetics seeing them for the first time) just like on the picture below. The reason for that is that we have a lot of cosmetics that's on your back and you can't really focus on how it looks like because your character's constatly ROTATING (THANK YOU @g3n3r4l). These arrows would allow you to roll your avatar by yourself (of course after adding that the character would stand still instead of rolling like it does now). These would simplify equpping your favourite cosmetics and allow you to take a closer look in peace. I'd also add few buttons like "Dismount" or "Take Off Cosmetics" so you could check few things on you at the same time to see if they match each other.   4. Thing like this is needed for people who quit game for a while and then came back. Mega-stones quests are long and progress is easily forgetable, I for example, don't even know where should I go now as of houndoomite.

Therefore, it is important to gather your feedback in order to understand if, in your opinion, we are on the right path for what regard the content we release. Feedback helps us to understand if what we release is liked, if it could have been better (and how) and in general allow us to further improve the game. We would like also to clarify that the the Christmas Event is designed to be bigger than smaller events like Valentine and Halloween one. Therefore, a comparison between the two, specially for what regard rewards, would be unfair and wrong. XMAS EVENT FEEDBACK In this specific case, we would like to hear your opinion on the following topics: Enjoyment Quest Difficulty Story/Lore perspective Effort/Reward Ratio We are aware that not all of you will be able to comment those for various reasons (e.g people speedrunning), however we will really appreciate if you can give your productive feedback on as many of them as you can in the most accurate way possible. FEEDBACK EXAMPLES PRODUCTIVE FEEDBACK: It was hard to form a party (with the random party feature) with friends who are not in your guild, because Everyone needs to join the random party at the same time (timing difficulties) Even if all of your friends managed to end up in the same party with you, you need to be at least 5 to start. I would've preferred if there were maybe up to 3 random parties you can join (and see the party members before joining), and be able to enter the dungeon having only 3 people in the random party. NON-PRODUCTIVE FEEDBACK: The event sucks, I didn't find Thomas, do better the next time.

  7. Hi , i like how you change pvp options , so i hope this idea like you . I suggest to make a independent trade section for all sell/buy pokemon/items and auctions shown in photo 1 . I made a simple desing of it to show better what i mean. On image one you see to main options: sell/rent and buy. In the first section there will be several sub options: sell, lend and auction. In SELL option will be : pokemon for sale ( can be drag from pc or best 6 ) and the price the seller looking for .When some pokemon is drag for sell , he will be locked till some buy him. The same will be apply to the items, where the number that the seller wants to place on the market can be added. In LEND option will be: pokemon who you wish to lend , time interval ( i miss to add this on the image ) and price that you looking for. In AUCTION option will be: pokemon ,option for starting offer,option for minimal bid, current offer, by who, time left of the auction and insta price button. If its make it right this will generates auction market to which every one will be able to bid for the given pokemon in time. The winner will be announsed automaticaly after the end of the auction and if the seller and the buyer are not online , they will be notified by message. In second section will have : search , selling pokemon, buyng pokemon and auction. In sub option SEARCH you can search for the appropriate pokemon or item you want, and the results are dispayed . In sub option SELLING POKEMON you can see what pokemons are on the market , price and you can buy them directly with the buy button . Similar information will show under the RENT option.The difference is that you will be able to take a given pokemon for a certain period . In sub option AUCTION , the auctions will be visibale and buyers will be able to easily bid according to the initially set options or instantly buy the given pokemon within the auction. This is my idea, i hope you like it. The images i attanch are to give you better idea of what i mean.

  9. -1 Takes the fun away and the RNG factor from grinding. Plus it doesn't have the same impact as nature or IV rerolls for Legendaries/Mythical Pokemon IMO. But a good suggestion regardless.

  13. First off, I'd like to share my total excavation points as a way to solidify the weight of my points I'm going to make. I've been doing lots of excavations and I believe that I have an understanding of what makes excavation fun and exciting. I know that there are obviously a handful of players that have done more excavations than me, but I'm very sure that there are very few with as many points as me or more. To start off, when I saw the announcement about updated excavation sites, I really liked it. I've felt for a long time that excavation needs an update to appeal to the mass, and obviously any new content is going to make people try out the the excavation sites for a little while when the update is fresh. It might recruit a few more hardcore excavators, but in the long run, excavations is definitely going to be more of a boring grind than it already was. The old problems with excavations that will still remain: (in my opinion) 1. Vendor trash (previously only rare bones) like pearls, small mushrooms, rare bones etc doesn't make sense to me. It kind of defeats the purpose paying to enter the excavation site. Solution: It would simply be better to put this value into the quality of the pokemon that spawn in the site. 2. (Not sure if this is going to be true) The pokemon spawns are very stale. After months and months you're just going to encounter the same pokemon time after time, this is something that creates excavation burnout. Solution: Have regular small updates with a frequency of about 1-3 months, with just a couple of changes in excavation spawns. Keep a pool of pokemon for each site, enough to rotate around. Keep the changes small and frequent. I'm thinking in the range of 1 pokemon change for another in the same rarity tier per site per small update. Have just a few site defining pokemon stay permanent. 3. Progress in excavation rank. Previously after you reached 6k you had everything unlocked and only needed to grind 2k more for the tomb raider rank (which in my opinion is worse than paleontologist, but that's another issue). Now that cap is increased to 10k with entry of dragonic site, but problem remains the same. After you reach 10k you basically unlocked everything and doing sites with 30k is the exact same thing as doing sites with 10k despite the 30k one thematically being a much more experienced excavator (btw if you didnt do lots of excavations, points gains are really slow after you reach the cap of content). Solution: Add some kind of reward or incentive for excavating, either by points or by regularity. This is going to make people who already enjoy excavating a lot enjoy it more and might make people who previously didn't like excavating feel more satisfied with excavating. 4. The artifact point shop. There is simply one item that's the most cost efficient and I'm always going to spend all my artifact points on that one, the addition of new gems might contend the list, but ultimately it will probably just decrease value of gems and we then go back to purchasing the most cost efficient item again. The new pvp items and evo items are not even close in cost efficiency, and i play on gold. This problem is even worse in silver from what I've heard about prices. Solution: Buff/nerf prices in the artifact shop. You kind of need someone experienced in trades on both silver and gold to make the balancing right. My opinion is that the prices should be balanced between an average of gold/silver balance so that even if a few items will be more worth than others in efficiency, the best items will not be several times more cost efficient than the worst items. Now for the new problems i think came with the update and my opinion why it was an overall disappointment: 5. The balance between spawns. Previously we would be quite likely to get one of the rarest spawns per map excavated. The probabilities have been changed for the worse with the new patch. I can agree that old excavation was kind of overpowered, it yielded lost of money from encounters if you had 6k+ points, but even then not a lot of people were doing excavations. This is obviously something I might have been very unlucky with, sampling only from 2 days of excavation sites, but from what i can tell, there has been a huge nerf to rare encounters. This is going to make people burn out from excavations very fast. I see this issue as an opportunity to mix with the solution for (1) and (4). Giving people with high amounts of excavation points an opportunity to pay more for entry that gives better chance for high tier spawns is not something I would be opposed to. 6. While Dragonic site is really nice designed, it is huge and lacks a clear path to walk it. I've been forced to enter in staffview 1. I understand that you want to make the map the most prestigious one, but I believe that removing the one way direction passages in the start and end would at least make this site a little bit nicer to walk through. Being forced to take one of the paths on the way in and the other one on the way out just feels bad. 7. Some of the pokemon are put into the wrong spawn tiers imo. With lots of people doing excavations, Heracross being the worst offender. A previously t8/9 pokemon spawns lots and lots in historical site, this is going to decrease value a lot of heracross. I salute all owners of epic heracross that's getting their value decreased in this very moment with an f f Also Mantyke is too common imo. This concludes my current thoughts about the new state about excavation. I might have more points I'd like to add later but this is it for now.   14. Hey, I am one of the few who do celadon hunting quest every now and then, and it would help to have a total IV counter on the preview / when u look at a pokemon to finish this quest faster. Its a super quality of life change, and id probably make it toggleable in the options menu. but it would be super helpfull doing these hunts (and also for the legendary birds quest and other questlines) cheers CapriFame/Paddie

  15. Hey, I would like to suggest to introduce a process which automates or assures the start of a world quest at a certain previously given time. I know its not easy to give estimated times and we dont get any most of the time which is totally fine. However if we do get an estimated time for a world quest for example which is a must for an important and time-limited event like the world quest, it is extremly frustrating for the community if the event does not start at the given time. The world quest is an extremly important event for the players considering its the only way to obtain a mysterious ticket, which enables you to catch certain legendaries, grants your guild access to guild island, unlocks the double reroll service etc. Needlessly to mention some players want to plan ahead so they are able to participate in the world quest. They stay up late, wake up early, even may take a day off work or similiar stuff, you get the point. Yes it is their own decision and their own risk but considering some people struggle to find time to do the world quest and its an extremly limited event since its only once a month that should be understandable to a certain extend. The player should be able to plan ahead of time to make sure to have some freetime during the world quest. I fully understand that there may be technical issues or personal issues, which may delay the start of a world quest, so I would suggest to improve the communication about that part as well. A small message on the #announcements channel on the PRO discord would be enough: >> 'Hey for some XXX reason/s the world quest will/might be delayed [...]'. << Leaving the community in the dark about a very important event which had a set time to start can be frustrating for some parts of the playerbase. I still want to mention that the communication on previous delays has gotten better a lot over the last few months but can still be improved. Lastly I want to mention that this post does not come from personal frustration or 'hate' but rather from the motivation to improve the player-staff-relationship, the world quest and therefor the game itself.

  17. hello.. i was thinking to player to get reward or achievement or some tittle when a player reach specific playtime on this game. like when reach 1000h playtime give tittle expert trainer or anything or some good reward like special mount or cosmetic to motivation us to play more and more.... sorry for my bad english ^^ thanks..

  20. I just seen this bruh what happened. There's no way you can just quit like this on short notice. You had so much playtime, things on your account, and done so much for other players. You can't just go like that man. If you do decide to stay gone though I wish you the best in life and if you make a comeback and wanna give me your stuff I be waiting lol. In all seriousness though I do wish you the best with your decision.
