Hello @Xiuyiva91c. My apologies for the late response. For stone evolutions, you need to click the stone in your inventory then click the desired Pokémon. Making them hold the item won't do anything. Let me know if you are able to evolve them this way.

Hello @Vera097. My apologies for the late response. The Officer Jenny in Vermilion City serves a different purpose from the other Officer Jenny's that give out bounties to players. The Vermilion City Officer Jenny is for the Pinkan Island quest. When this quest is completed, her name won't change color, like the Jenny's that offer bounties do. Hope that clears some things up.
