  1. There is a difference between making them hard to obtain, potentially through a hard quest or time/evo/data requirements, and having players pay around 50$ to get megas. Megas are a big part of the game that everyone wants to have access to, so making them unobtainable for most of the community is a very bad idea.

  3. when clicking on any player who is in battle, he could have an option to observe the battle. this would be very good for things like: friends watching friendly battles small tournaments between players being possible for everyone to observe, without the need to live on discord unexpected players to watch is to learn more about pvp among others Like= +1

  4. What a great thread! I am the guild leader of NoMercy. NoMercy has been a guild since April of 2017. I was very vocal in the past about how changes over the past few years devalued guilds and the competitive integrity of guild ladder. (1, 2, 3, 4) As others in this thread have expressed, I was also very excited about initially proposed idea of the Guild Island. What we got is different, so I will only focus on what is actually present instead of speculating the initially proposed. June is the first month I am getting to experience the Guild Island. I don't think it's that bad so far. I see nothing wrong with pushing it live with the bare concepts (spawns, tutors, tms) and adding features as they are coded (boss). I prefer to be optimistic and presume that is the plan. Everyone should keep in mind PRO is run off volunteers, not paid professionals. That said, the requirements to gain access to Guild Island have further exacerbated my concerns about guilds in PRO. It is absolutely true the social ecosystem of guilds have completely changed since the introduction of Guild Island. Immediately, we saw guilds start to merge by distancing themselves from players who did not want to or chose not to pvp. Even worse, the rule allowing players to pvp on two accounts also creates incentives for guilds to invite alt accounts with pvp rating in order to unlock Guild Island. Additionally, we see many players in two guilds to increase their odds of getting into guild island. For all guilds with aspirations to unlock guild island, the favoring of alts or veterans will continue to grow. A majority of the players left guildless during these merges or favor towards alt accounts are new players. I believe this to be very, very dangerous to the grow of PRO. Quick Solutions? Calculate guild rating based on the top 50 players within the guild. This would reduce the incentives of alts and necessity of filling your guild with veterans or pvpers. Allow access to the guild island to be purchasable each month by the guild leader. I can see a few options: A flat fee of 5m for the month, no matter your guilds placement in the ladder. If your guild finished in top 10, you can enter guild island for the month for a fee of 100k. Top 5, 50k. Top 3, free. ( fee per member) Eventually, I would like to see PRO implement a more sophisticated way of dealing with alt accounts. I understand the suggestion that follows potentially requires a lot, but I think it would dramatically improve the moderation of the game throughout many aspects. Every player must create a profile. You must then link your accounts to a profile. An account that is not linked to a profile will not be able to trade, pvp, etc. Only four accounts can be linked to a profile. Profiles will join guilds, so all your accounts will be in the guild of your choice. The account with the highest rating applies to your guild rating (not all four). Your accounts will not share pvp rating, but instead share the same "ELO" of the account with the highest rating. Example: Lets say "teerav" and "vikingman" are under my profile. "teerav" has 300 rating and "vikingman" has 1 rating. Assume I pvp with "vikingman" and the opponent has 400 rating. I win, "vikingman" will gain rating based an 1 rating winning against 400 rating. However, the opponent's rating change will be based on 400 losing to a 300. Its a big difficult to explain, but hopefully you (the reader) understands. This would mitigate "sniping" at the end of the season. And it would still allow players with pvp anxiety or veterans looking to test still use multiple accounts to pvp on, but it would remove a lot of the negative aspects effecting guilds described earlier in this post.

  5. By this logic your first suggestion is also bad because some people don't hunt at all.... That being said, I am +1 for being huntable pieces(suggestion 1). I think this would be a fine way of adding them to the game. Although it makes alt hunting abit aids. Suggestion two while I think is a good idea is unrealistic, if we want a quality quest for each one they would have had to have been working on them for months. And I think I value a speedier rollout along with that cc time being spent on other projects. Other ways of releasing could be, spend a wq ticket to buy megastone of choice Digs Excavs(plz no) Pve shop PvP shop Bosses rewards Headbutts Or a combination of ideas, so like your suggestion of braking them into pieces, and then you can only get 1 part from pve 1 part from PvP 1 part from digs ect

  6. Hi, Like any Pokemon game, travelling is a heavy part of the gameplay - even more in PRO since they is no outside flying. We therefore spend a lot of time entering and exiting Pokecenters in order to use the transportation system. Kanto and Johto are perfectly fine but is it possible to shorten the path to this system in Hoenn and Sinnoh? We have to walk all the way to the back of the building + talk to the guard so that we can use it, which is kinda long given we do this multiple times a day. I guess bringing the system closer to the entrance would require some mapping, but at the very least can we remove the guard once the quest is completed and have some stairs/door so that we don't have to open any dialog?   7. Hello. As we know, Membership gives us an EXP bonus of 50%. Whereas, the EXP boost gives a bonus of 25%. Which is half of what's given by MS. The item EXP boost is made particularly to grant EXP boost but it's not really the case in MS; it has other benefits as well. So if EXP boost is particularly made for that, then its boost should be increased to at least 50%. 25% seems a bit less. I haven't really explained much you know my point. Thank you.

  10. Back in the days the seed was kinda bad after server restart/crash and these cases happened frequently. I changed that and that shouldn't be happen anymore. That actually did not only affect wild battles back in the days. When we introduced the Reroll NPC players got the same stats right after server start.

  12. Wild pokemon holding it might not be the best idea for the common ones like pidgeot and beedrill. I'd think the best option would either be quests (though that is more work), potential boss drops, or purchasable through pve and pvp coin shops. Think the last one prob makes the most sense.

  13. 8-10 cc is absolutely ridiculous. Yes the game should feel like a grind since it is an mmo, but that's not even a grind anymore, it's p2w at that point.

  14. -1 Darkrais bulk, speed tier, spatk stat and movepool makes it a menace to the metagame. With megas around, it still has a stupidly good speed tier to go along with potential Dark Void or Hypnosis sets (or perhaps just straight up Nasty Plot). Weavile, who has the same speed tier, has 65/85/70 defensive base stats (BST). That servers are a reference to Darkrais 90/90/70 defensive BST. I think the movepool in combination with its base stats, it's ability and some sets being heavily reliant on RNG (looking at you Dark Void/Hypnosis) makes for an inherently uncompetitive Pokémon. It's essentially a Gengar on steroids, as it's better in EVERY stat, has a much more oppressive ability (in spite of being able to argue that Cursed Body is fairly uncompetitive, especially given how it works in PRO) and top notch move-pool to go along with it. Gengar is already one of the most used mons in the game, and even if Darkrai has a worse typing and slightly less spamable STAB move(s), it would not benefit the metagame to see it unbanned. Do note that Pursuit trapping Darkrai is not an efficient way of getting rid of it (like it would be Gengar).

  15. -1 This is not a pve or pvp only game, and legendaries should be hard to earn. I actually thought they made the last trio's quest TOO easy. It's nice having something challenging and time consuming to work towards.

  16. I am a pvp player and it took me 2 days to get from 80 to 300 evolutions, it's not hard at al I know many players that have done around the same time some even faster.

  17. Posts like this one and the last rant I had to answer made me wish I didn't have eyes or enough functioning brain cells left to answer them and just try to ignore them. "PvE and PvP players should be treated equally" >Proceeds to suggest that Latios be locked behind top 10 in ladder, Mew 400+ Rating and Jirachi behind a 1000 WINS IN PvP and 100 hours into the ladder. I'm going to try and pretend this post is actually serious and not a joke. You say they need to be treated equally yet you're suggesting to block the access to legendaries into ONLY PvP players instead of giving a way so that BOTH PvE and PvP players can access them. The requirements are also absurd. Do you know how many wins is A THOUSAND WINS? It's not easy at all for newbies nor advanced players, nor some experienced players who still struggle in ladder. And top 10 in ladder? And 400 rating? Why am I even answering this post. It's as if some PvP players couldn't see anything aside from PvP and anything that is PvE and has a lot of hours of work behind scripting, mapping and putting it all together annoys them for no reason. They just want their legendaries spoonfed by a single encounter, you just throw a master ball and that's it. Congratulations, you killed the collecting part of the game! Which is the MAIN part because this is a POKEMON game, not a PvP simulator. These requirements DO NOT SUCK. I can ONLY understand that hour requirements suck because they're invisible walls that keep you from accessing pokemon, bosses or certain content in the game. However, if you are hunting for pokemon, you've EASILY acheived the needed hours for Mew, Celebi, Jirachi and others. The hours you invest in hunting PvP pokes make more than enough for these. Pokemon is a monster collecting game that can last hours, days, weeks, months, or years. It's the main objective of the game, exploring, finding new areas, capturing pokemon and completing sidequests with thousands of hours behind of work from anonymous staff who didn't spend a lot of sleepless nights just so that you only come and cry to forums because you can't instantly get all legendaries in the game. If you are so keen on making all legendaries be accessible only for PvP players, leave and go play a simulator like showdown. Nothing else needs to be said. Stop making these posts, they get worse every single rant that comes next.

This isn't a guide on how to beat bosses but an attempt to classify them by rankings. Due to the new changes, it was decided to make a thread based on the one by idkup. The top 15-20 spot of a boss list should be consistent for everyone. Choosing the last remaining bosses can be an entangled task if you're hesitating or confused. It especially becomes harsh when you're new to the variable PvE content of PRO. This is mostly to help people who are confused and want to weight and compare the multiple rewards Every changelog is posted at the bottom of the thread. Ranking S tier - The best of the best. Those are bosses that have an insane or very good pool of pokemon along with excellent items and money rewards. Do not skip those. A tier - Generally the most common bosses, which are worth doing as well. B tier - Suboptimal bosses compared to the other tiers; fighting them is not recommended, unless the goal is to fetch a certain reward. It could also be worth fighting them if you don't have access to enough bosses from the other tiers. The rankings were chosen based on 3 principal criteria, in that order; 1. Pokemon pool available (3rd reward and random reward) 2. Item's reward available 3. Money reward A good pokemon pool is better than a good money reward in my opinion. This could be showcased in certain situations.   19. Hey, I hope y'all are doing good these days. My suggestion is pretty simple: add a spectator mode in pvp. Of course the moveset/items etc should be hidden for the spectator so none of the pvpers get an advantage.

  21. Ever since the announcement of the Guild Island, I have wanted to give feedback about it, but have been unable to due to time constraints and lack of motivation. Firstly, I am upset with how long we have been promised a Guild Island, only for it to not even be available to my guild (or most other guilds!) Secondly, I have privately made my opinions known to several staff members, but in light of recent events, it seems appropriate to make my feelings public. I am aware that regardless of the opinions of myself or the playerbase at large, the staff might refuse to make substantive changes to the Guild Island. As the leader of a guild, I was very excited when I first heard of the concept of a Guild Island around two years ago. I was excited for new features for guilds aside from the Guild chat, the logo, and EXP boosts. I was excited because there is not much for Guilds to do. All that excitement shattered when I heard that the Guild Island was to be for the top 3 PvP Guilds only. We were told that it would make the Guild PvP ladder more competitive - but it has instead had the opposite effect. PvP players have largely coalesced in three guilds on each server - making it virtually impossible for any other guild to have a chance. With regard to the work put in to 'earn' access to Guild Island - was there ever really a question as to whether or not you would make it? You would play PvP regardless for the singleplayer rewards. I agree that PvP guilds should get something, but I cannot fathom why it has to be Guild Island, which is largely PvE content. From the last thread which was posted in March, it seems that quite a few people agree with my point of view. There should be a way for small or PvE guilds to unlock this feature. It is demotivating for Guilds that are not established in PvP to try to get into the scene as the top 3 are already full of experienced players. There are a plethora of good suggestions as to how to do this - there could be a special area within the Island for the top 3 guilds, for example - or, perhaps, guilds outside the top 3 could be expected to buy in on a monthly basis. Furthermore, I feel that PvE in general has been neglected as of late. There have been a lot of changes tailored to the PvP playerbase, including new legendaries and a NPC which allows you to keep sets for legendaries. When will there be new permanent PvE content that isn't just another boss? Why is the only recent major PvE update restricted to PvP players? Why do staff not consult players for PvE topics, while there is a thread every other week for PvP? Lastly, it has become ever more difficult for smaller Guilds to recruit players. When I try to recruit, the first question I am asked is always some variation of "Are you a top 3 Guild?" or "Does your Guild have Guild Island?" It's horrible and demotivating. PvE Guilds and players deserve better.

Unfortunately there is no way to recover the move for free, but there is an option, there is a npc calles move relearner that you can re-learn moves that you couldnt learn to the pokemon, in kanto you can find it in cerulean city and saffron city.   32. I like the second one a lot way more than the first one. Non-dependant on RNG, quest-based, hard worked with high requirements (depending on each Mega Stone, the best ones would require more evo and dex data or acheivements and the worst ones would require less). Also, possible third win rewards for some bosses too would be a cool addition into them.

  34. From what I remember, there's some extra dialogue, but it's just nothing of importance (story in PRO isn't really... complicated or deep that we can say). Next time you fight him on another playthrough in pro, keep a Graveler with Sturdy and Bulldoze in your team. You might be able to defeat him :)

  37. I see, the Legendary Megathread is not to 100% updated. Mew for example only needs 100 hours at the moment. Celebi is also outdated.   39. Can you guys for the love of god wait until there's more news about megas? The developers haven't given any specific details yet. Wait until they provide more information to discuss what will happen. IMO Gengar and Blaziken megas might be banned quickly, but I'd rather wait and see.

I would say that compared to what the Requirements was back in 2018 for certain legendary's (im looking at your Legendary dog quest that needed 750 hours in game back in the day) They have become very player friendly. all you need now is about 250 hours (not including the Regional timers like hoenn jirachi Requiring 120 hours when you entered hoenn for the first time) you can pretty much (for a new player at least) take that long just to complete the main story (kanto - sinnoh) and some side content like pinkan and kanto Fossil quest. Now for those legendaries in pvp only a select few are even used in pvp all too much, like entei, heatran, manaphy, and zapdos. By no means do you need these to do well in pvp. There are even decent teams you can build just from catching Kanto mons. As for locking certain legendaries in the PvP Requirements instead of the Reqs we currently have i would find that very tedious and i think would make new players very frustrated by grinding out a certain number of games and or rank just to get one of their favorite mons they just want for pve content. It makes all legendaries universal so no one is at a disadvantage. Say only the top ten ranked people in the last season could get a latios or landorous T, that would give those players a huge advantage that other players would not have. Less options are always unwanted. People who want the legendary/mythical will just grind it, The only part that can kinda be annoying is grinding out the evos/caught data, but as a MMO i find it acceptable. There are services you as the player can buy off other players to help. Sure you cant really buy Evo services anymore ever since they nerfed lending, but you can still buy trash mons off people to help. Maybe i just find it acceptable b/c iv been with the game for so long with over 2k hours in it. I can see how it could be frustration for a new player but its not like that player is alone. They can get help whenever they can ask. With spawn data, the best spots to hunt, best spots to grind and much more. As for the amount of players in pvp and the numinous amount of stall players out there. I got to say the pvp update has been delayed for a while now. With just recently have we gotten any real updates on that. Iv seen plenty of my friends quit the game b/c of it taking such a long time. With the newest news we got, just a hunch but pvp may get even more populated then you may want. As for the stall players there are mons that counter stall very well. Im looking at you venusaur and Serperior and many more. Just takes time to learn and personally i see more balance in pvp nowadays. But at least we can agree on one thing. People will still complain about anything for basically no reason. The amount of hate stall players get is one of those ;)

  41. You do know PRO is labeled as an MMO game right? Just like every MMO games it’s meant to be grindy. Also, if you make it so that the requirements becomes easier to reach or completely removed there would be no PVE aspect to the game at all, everyone would just finish the game, catch all legendaries and just start pvping and it will turn PRO into a pvp focused game and I don’t think the staffs goal is to make it a pvp focused game.

  42. That's a pretty jaded view.. I'm pretty sure if you polled the players, pc storage would be extremely high on the vast majority of player's priority list. I'm sure we're all definitely siked about megas though, I personally didnt see anybody complaining about what we didn't get when the news broke. Seemed like an overwhelmingly positive reaction. No need to talk about us like we're a bunch of rabid animals who are impossible to please.

  44. Hello trainers! There are several major projects for content in doing that I feel you should know about. I will note some of them down before someone leaks it the wrong way. - New Region New region is a custom approach. We call it a mini-region. But it's actually very huge. It is called Astrella, and it's done mapping wise. Region will feature a variety of spawns (gen 7 area), new content, quests, events, trade city and much more. It will be ready once script-work is done for it and once gen 7+ is fully operational, will not release it before that. Reason for a custom area is a simple one. We are unable to map anything past Unova graphic wise without having it improvised 99% and waste much time into art. The MMO setting commands a new region, so it's being delivered. With it, we will have whole game spawned with old and new Pokemon, closer to being complete. The region is currently in hands of scripters. Once they are done, I will spawn it, so you can catch some of the new Pokemon when we receive a full gen 7 update. - Unova Unova is planned and is slowly being mapped. Once it is done and ready, the whole game will be respawned from scratch due to distribution of the Pokemon around PRO world. We are also looking for mapping manpower to complete the task so that mapping side is done and ready for people to script on. - Orange Islands The Orange Islands are also being mapped and planned. Not much to say about this one. ** Note that plans may change any time. But what I said above is a current plan and it's being worked on. I want to have all mapping done before the schedule so that people can start working on the maps script wise etc. Thank you

When advertising, be clear and accurate about what you are buying or selling. - When stating a Pokemon is IV+ (25+, 26+, etc), all stats must be equal to, or above the advertised numbers. › Exception: Decreased ATK, SPATK or SPD stats. › e.g. A Timid Pokemon may be advertised as 25+, if all stats except Attack are equal to, or above 25. 2. Announcing a lend, sale, offer or bid with no intention or means to follow through is prohibited. 3. Once a deal is agreed upon, you cannot back out of it. A deal is done in one of these two scenarios: - In-game: Both parties have agreed to a price and location. - Forum & Auction: An Insta or Fixed Price has been met, or auction won. 4. Scamming, Misleading or Deceiving players is prohibited. 5. Reserves (buy now, pay later agreements) are prohibited. Players must have the means to make full payment from the time of committing to a trade agreement (making an offer, bid, or agreeing to a deal) until completion of the trade or outbid. 6. Offers received outside of an auction cannot be: - Claimed or used as current or best offer. - Used as a starting bid without the buyer's permission. 7. Trades outside of official PRO platforms (Forum, In-game, Discord) are not supported, or enforced by PRO Staff. - Reports or evidence regarding trade agreements made on Discord may not be accepted. 8. All goods gained or traded as a result of an Account Hack or Scam will be forcefully corrected, any trade agreements made in such circumstances will be considered void. - In the event that a trade agreement has been made, or a trade has taken place with any third party involving goods gained via an Account Hack, this will be forcefully reversed where possible, regardless of known or direct involvement. 9. When making a service agreement (Level-Up, EV-Training, Lending, PokeDex Data, Story / Quest, etc), players must take full responsibility to ensure that the service is completed as agreed. Any actions not approved by the agreement are prohibited. - This includes: unapproved trades to or from own accounts or third parties, irreversible damage (evolving), payment is made, etc. › Evidence of these agreements must be made and kept, and made available upon Staff request. This is the responsibility of both parties. › Services that involve account sharing (Story, Quest, etc) are permitted, but not recommended. See Rule No.3 of the Game Rules for further details. CROSS SERVER RULES 1. Cross Server sales and auctions must be posted in the Trades - Cross Server sub-forum. 2. When moving an existing Selling thread from Silver or Gold forums to Cross Server, the current thread must first be marked as closed. - Auction: Once started, an auction thread cannot be moved. 3. When a trade agreement is made concerning players from different servers, the responsibility of transferring lies with the thread creator. - This rule does not apply when there is an explicit written agreement between the buyer and seller about who will transfer to honour the deal. Evidence of this agreement must be made and kept, and made available upon Staff request. › When posting in Selling Pokemon - Cross Server, the seller must be prepared to transfer, should the buyer be from the opposite server. › When posting in Buying Pokemon - Cross Server, the buyer must be prepared to transfer, should the seller be from the opposite server. TRADE TERMINOLOGY • WTS, WTB & WTT. - WTS (Want To Sell), WTB (Want To Buy), and WTT (Want to Trade) indicates the user's intention when making their trade post or thread. • LFM. - LFM (Looking For More) is used by a seller to indicate that they are looking for a higher offer. • SO, BO & CO. - SO (Starting Offer) indicates the minimum offer required to begin an auction. BO (Best Offer) & CO (Current Offer) are both used to indicate the current highest offer in an auction. › Auction use only. › Evidence of all offers must be made and kept to be made available upon Staff request. Timestamps are preferred. • Fixed Price. - A set price, specified by seller, that once met will result in an immediate sale, ignoring all other offers. › Applies to standard sales (non-auction sales e.g. In-game & Forum Sales, Forum Shops, etc), and must be treated as Insta. • Instant Price / Insta. - An instant price, specified by the seller, that once met will immediately end the auction, ignoring all other offers and bids. › Auction use only. • Trade Agreement / Deal. - A deal is done one of these two scenarios: › In-game: Both parties have agreed to a price and location. › Forum & Auction: An Insta or Fixed Price has been met. • False Buying / Selling. - Agreeing to buy or sell, but going back on the deal before the trade has taken place. • False Offering / Bidding. - Making an offer or bid with no intent or means to follow through.
