Hello everyone! Since battle animation & text is client side thing why don't we have the options to speed it up? This is example of a single turn: 1. Selecting Fight 2. Selecting skill 3. See dialog about what skill opponent used 4. See opponent skill animation 5. See dialog about what skill I've used 6. See my skill animation If you wonder, this takes 7-8 seconds This is example of a pokemon swap: 1. Selecting Pokemon ball 2. Choosing pokemon 3. See dialog about what pokemon just entered battle 4. See ball throwing aniomation 5. See dialog about what skill opponent used 6. See opponent skill animation If you wonder, this takes 8 seconds, if it was my turn, it would take 12+ seconds. This old level up experience animation, Yeah there's no animation at all, Rattata level from 58 to 61 intently without us seeing experience bar getting unnecessary experience animation. While with new system each level takes 2-3 seconds, means, if your Rattata should jump from level 5 to level 40 it will take nearly a minute to do so. Its cool and all to see these interaction for first time, but you get tired of it pretty fast.. Can we get some real-life time and have these unnecessary things adjusted? If someone like to see slow motion Battle animations, Texts & Experience bar, let them have it x1. But for the rest, allow us to change it via , just like this:

In additions, the following extra changes have been made: All Johto trainers now have a title and a name, making it easier to tell who will fight and who won't. i can confirm that you don't need to catch heracross, nor do you need to bring it. i never brought a heracross or caught one. you just need to win 3 times; however, i do not know if it must be consecutively. but, i did win 3 days in a row and got it. thank you to everyone who shared their info! :D [spoiler=proof]

Hello everyone! The Trainer Rework is live on Kanto! This means, every NPC Trainer that you can fight during Kanto Story has been reworked. Here's the details on the update. Before the update: The level progression curve for Kanto was broken, being very easy in the second half of the story, but suddenly becoming very difficult starting at the Cinnabar Gym. Every trainer gained 3 levels everytime you fought against them, capping at 12 levels. The movesets of their Pokemon were simply the last 4 moves they learn by level up. This often resulted into poor movesets, such as a level 60 Clefable using Spotlight or Double Slap. If you lost against a trainer, the trainer would enter cooldown immediately, and did not need to be refought. After the update: The level progression curve for Kanto has been balanced for a more smooth playthrough. The balance has been determined based on a player that would use a full team of 6 Pokemon and evolve them whenever possible. The variety of the trainers has been widened. Certain trainers will bring Pokemon from further generations, up to generation 6. Every trainer gain +5% +1 level everytime you fight them, capping at +20% +4 levels. For example, a level 5 Pokemon caps at level 10, while a level 50 Pokemon caps at level 64. This level cannot go over 100. After every battle, trainers now gain EV points. Once capped out, they will have spent all of their 510 EV points equally in all of their stats. A few trainers also have specific properties added to their Pokemon, such as held item, starting with higher EVs, and determined ability. After specific battles, trainers can add new Pokemon to their team and evolve some of their Pokemon. Their movesets are carefully controlled, so you can expect the trainers to use the best moves they learn through level up. Some may also use TM, Egg or Move Tutor moves, either from the very beginning or learned after a specific amount of wins. If you lose against a trainer, the trainer does not enter cooldown or lose its Line of Sight. This means you will need to rebattle the trainer if it's blocking the path. The next battle after a lost one will also not yield any experience, so be careful! The rework is currently applied to all NPC trainers that can be fought within the Kanto Story, including Cerulean Cave, but excluding story-only NPCs (rocket hideout and Sylph Co) and gym trainer NPCs. It is planned to apply the rework to all other NPC trainers. Reworked trainers have their win count and cooldowns reset. Their Line of Sight is not reset however, so they will not fight you if you enter the sight of a trainer that you have already fought before the update. August 18th 2020 Update: Johto trainers have now been reworked according to the points above from the Kanto Rework. In additions, the following extra changes have been made: All Johto trainers now have a title and a name, making it easier to tell who will fight and who won't. A few new trainers were added throughout the region. None of them are mandatory to fight. September 25th 2022 Update: Hoenn trainers have now been reworked according to the points above from the Kanto Rework, concluding the rework for all the main story areas, leaving only side areas like the Sevii Islands remaining. Note that the level balance has been done with the assumption that you don't fight the trainers in the optional water routes

As many of you may have already seen my previous suggestion about the Pokemon Center revamp in other regions, it was denied with an explanation by Aspheric, or Sax as some may know him by. In his explanation, as i quote, he said this: "Vermilion is the most populated PC all year round no matter the theme as it is the most convenient to reach the most services". And that is very true, from vermillion harbor you can access the Sevii islands, Pinkan island, Guild island, and Tutor Haven. This time round, my suggestion is not change the pokemon centers, rather the towns they're located in. Adding these travelers to the other three port cities would then mean that players don't need to travel back to vermillion for all of their needs. With this change, it would mean that for example, players doing excavations in hoenn don't need to go back to vermillion to then be able to go to pinkan island, or guild island, and can easily travel there from lilycove, rather than having to pay extra to travel back and forth. Open to other opinions and questions about it.

To piggyback on @Zetzumi thread: Hi @Hawluchaa, could you & the staff team fix this little discrepancy in different documents regarding the new rule? In the announcement, it said that insta cannot be changed OR ADDED once an auction met the Start Price: However, in the 2 official threads, it only tells that insta price cannot be changed, missing the "cannot be added" restriction: https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/topic/119709-url https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/topic/29538-url I believe the intended rule is to include both "cannot be changed" and "cannot be added" restrictions, to elimite all possibilties for insta negotiation. Hello Zetzumi, It goes for in effect starting from the announcement, every auction created after that will be monitored with that rule in effect. If you created it before the announcement you can add an insta. I can understand it might be a bit frustrating and we did take a certain time left in concideration to announce an insta but that would still not tackle the problem as it would be very hard to monitor that with everyone having a different timezone. There have been several auctions where people broke the rule and negotiated, we can clearly see it on an auction page but since there is never any solid proof since it is done in Pms we could never make those auctions fair for the other players who offered. If that happens you can still edit it since they did not offer your start price meaning the auction is not started. Once the actual start price is met and the timer given for your auction it can not be changed anymore. I know it is annoying when the small group of players who break the rules ruin it for the players who dont but we had to tackle the problem now to keep auctions as fair as possible. Maybe keeping the animation but make it only happen once in level up so we can go from lvl x to lvl x+20 with only one animation instead of 20
