All Top25 players got to keep their coins or were compensated if the appeal was successful, including you and your friend who both got to keep their coins. I agree though that this might have screwed over users' when they got perm bans, so there is a new procedure in place for those cases going forward. I apologize for any inconveniences. I will propose this to Eaty. In those cases simply press ready yourself or keep a screenshot to avoid confusion/clear your name quickly. This now requires multiple games as well.

This is already explained, we are very careful with this and try to check everything here. If you are constantly disconnecting only against Jake but no one else then it obviously looks very odd. If you are disconnecting against Bob, Billy, Tom, Jake etc then it obviously means your internet/PC is just bad. There have been cases with users' living with cousins, a big family and such things. We investigate those cases most of the time and may issue bans if you are playing against each other all the time. The best advice we can give those players is to avoid matching against each other to avoid any confusion.

Hey fellow PvP players, In this thread I will explain how we enforce this rule, what counts towards it and why it is important to cooperate with us here. I made the mistake and not thoroughly wrote down procedures, limitations and explanations for the community which resulted in some unfair bans that will be fixed as soon as possible, so count this thread as an apology for our mess as well. This type of stuff shouldn't happen, will not happen again and I take full responsibility for it. The current rule that forbids any type of boosting. What counts towards this rule?: Playing against any accounts you have access to If Bob has the password of Billy and Bob matches against Billy in ranked PvP, you may risk of being flagged as boosting players. The best advice we can give here is that you do not share accounts to avoid any confusion here. Did Billy actually play or was it Bob controlling both accounts. Those are questions we have to answer. Playing against your own alternate accounts If Tom owns the accounts Tom123 & Tom321 and matches against himself in ranked PvP, he will be banned for boosting. Playing on an account you do not rightfully own Jake gave his account to Bob so he can play ranked PvP on it and Bob starts playing in ranked with Jake's account, you will be banned for boosting. Please avoid at any cost playing on someone elses account in ranked PvP unless you have full control over it (E-Mail is yours, you are the only one having access to the account and the original owner does not return) Disconnecting on purpose and receiving payments for it Bob matches against Tom, Tom messages Bob & asks him if he could disconnect or let him win for 50k$. Bob should report Tom however if he accepts this payment both players will be banned for boosting. Disconnecting repeatedly against the same players Billy always disconnects against Jake because he thinks he is the superior player. This might get you flagged as boosting if done multiple times as you are supposed to play out all matches. We can see the difference between server crashes, a user with bad internet or someone boosting. Disconnecting against Guild members on purpose or due to "Queue/Game" guild rules Bob, Tom and Jake are in the same guild [ExamplePlayers]. Tom matches against Jake in ranked PvP and Jake disconnects during team-preview. If done multiple times you may get flagged as boosters. Jake writes in his guild chat or in a matchmaking chat on their discord that he is in the queue. Jake: queue Bob always forgets to write in that chat and matches against Jake. Jake is annoyed and tells Bob to disconnect because he broke the "queue/game" guild rules. This may get you flagged as boosting as well, as you are supposed to play out all matches. Playing against another player under the same network/connection. Unfortunately staff is unable to verify and confirm if someone is really living with other people, making therefore impossible for us to see if it's one single persone with two different account or two different people. Reason we can't do that is simply that we don't live with you, it's not a problem of our tools. a This guide will explain any and all Chat rules, how we enforce them and what you have to keep in mind when using any of our official chat channels. If you still have concerns, troubles understanding something or want something even deeper explained, please do reach out to us in the General Complaint Area. An experienced staff member will assist you with your questions there. Explanation: Any moderation staff member (CC, Mod, T-Mod & GM) is trained in in-game moderation and is expected to warn users' before they receive any punishments however we do reserve the right to mute you without prior warning if we deem it was necessary. This may apply when heavy spamming is being done, very offensive racist remarks are being made, sexist/discriminating words/phrases are written or any other possible scenario. This is solely up to the active staff member discretion at the time but generally you can expect a warning before any mute. Also important to note here is that all rules apply even if a Moderator is not online, we exclusively deal with reported chat infractions and issue quiet-bans when it is needed. A live case (when a moderation staff member is online) and reports are being dealt with differently. You can expect to receive warnings/quiet-bans when you are reported for any violations. _____________________________________________ Explanation: We aim to hold a very high PG standard within our chat channels henceforth we censor all swear words, even if they are not censored by the game itself. The systems censors a lot of swearwords with stars however these are still visible for every staff member. You can expect to be muted almost every time you swear at someone. We do make exceptions here when certain swearwords are being used in abbreviations of expression such as wtf & lmfao nonetheless if users' use abbreviations just for swear words like fk for fuck, bj for blowjob or smd for suck my dick you can expect to be warned or muted. Filter evasion is trying to evade having your swearwords show up as stars, purposely writing them wrong or hide them within other words, this will also get you warned or muted as it counts as swearing. The last thing you need to know is that writing stars as substitute for swearwords will also get you warned or muted as users' can not distinguish what is what neither can we when you are being reported. Examples: Allowed wtf look at this <Pikachu> / - Allowed as "wtf" as abbreviation is allowed lmfao that is pretty funny / - Allowed as "lmfao" as abbreviation is allowed Not allowed you fucking cunt / - This is strictly against the rules and will get you muted I hate my fucking life / - This is not allowed but most of the time you will get warned here before you are getting muted I hate my ******** life / - This is also not allowed as we treat this the same was as we would treat the previously example. Users' can not distinguish between the two as both times it will show up as stars This game sucks. Staff is ****** lazy ******* and don't do nothing. X game is better then this trash heap. / - While feedback is appreciated, Excessively complaining or berating either the game or the staff in our chat rooms will lead to a warning and then a punishment if continued. We ask if you have any suggestions, please direct them to the forums and be patient. We try our best to continue to improve the game as volunteers, but berating staff or the game will not help. _____________________________________________ Explanation: This rule is very self-explanatory. You are not allowed to use any other language in any of our official chat channels besides English with no exception, you can expect to be warned and then muted every single time you use other languages. The only exception is the Other Chat which allows you to speak every language including English. This has to be enforced as it is unpractical and unreasonable to force every moderation staff to speak every language in the world, while we do have a very broad range on multicultural staff members this by far does not include all languages spoken in PRO. Examples: Allowed English / - You are not allowed to speak any other language under no circumstance even partly mixed with English Not allowed Every language other than English / - You are advised to use the language channels or the Other Chat _____________________________________________ Explanation: You are not allowed to discuss any form of sanctions, this also includes mutes and warnings. If you do have a problem or a complaint with a sanction you are free to make a complaint in our General Complaint Area however discusing it in-game will only lead to further sanctions. You are making it worse on yourself if you complain about it in-game instead of going to the proper channels for that. The same applies to reports and applications, those topics are to be handled in our forum. You will be warned and muted here when you continue to discuss/mention or make remarks about those subjects. Discussing it in-game or calling staffs lazy will get you nowhere and most of the time will have a negative impact on your case as well. _____________________________________________ Explanation: You are not allowed to freely advertise your livestreams without prior approval as we have to check your content first before we approve you. This is a very simple process to avoid non PG channels to be advertised in our channels. You will be warned and can expect to be redirected to our approval thread here, failure to adhere this will result in a mute. We do not allow advertising outside of PRO's scope as a whole, we can not moderate or restrict those things therefore we block them entirely. If you want to showoff Pokemon, want to start conversations about quests or anything other than answering/asking these questions then you must use All Chat, Guild Chat, Other Chat or a private channel. It is almost impossible to not go off-topic sometimes however it is up to the moderating staff member when it is time to stop. You must accept what the moderating staff says otherwise you risk of being muted. We sadly can not make many exceptions here and will be enforcing this very strictly if we see that the chat is not being used for what it stands for. However if you make a mistake we will not mute you for it, we are all just humans after all. Examples: Not allowed You get a bike when you go to the E4, type "bike" and go back to the bikeshop / - Any form of obvious trolling will get you warned if continued muted The Bike costs 100k / - You will be corrected for false information, not knowing the correct answer is totally fine, spreading false information over and over again is not You have to suck before you can get a mount / - Any form of obvious trolling that insults another user will get you muted Battle Channel Explanation: This rule comes in place when users' are starting to spread false information during their matches in Battle Chat, please just take your time reading the PvP Rules before you accuse someone of breaking those rules. You may report someone in the forum but discussing it in the Battle Chat is not allowed. If you are unsure about a rule you may ask it in Battle Chat but spreading purposely false information to benefit you will result in mutes. I agree you should not be warned 5 times, after 2 you should start being muted for not following what the warnings are for. A lot of the current active Moderators are here for about a month (as Moderator, way longer as players) and they are still learning. It all comes with experience, some may mute earlier, some give out more warnings and go easy on the chat. In the end it is their style of moderating. Apologies if I downplayed the number of users' not happy about it, we do appreciate you voicing your concerns however at this time we will still enforce the rules how they are currently written. You will have to adjust to it for the time being. I agree and we shouldn't jump the gun too fast, if this rule change has a permanent negative effect on the chat experience in a few months then we will gladly reconsider our position. Not sticking to the rules is simply not an option we can go by as it would just end in chaos. Imagine how frustrating Trade Chat would be without any rules, or if everyone could swear like they want. There are other options such as group PMs (/pm username-=-username-=-username etc), guilds and private channel, the open and public chats must be usable for everyone henceforth we need to have rules in place.

I will try to answer as many people as possible. :) The transition period will be hard of course, it is like this with every change. It will get better over time if everyone follows the rules and uses the chats correctly. If you are really wanting to help there is always the option to use /pm USERNAME-=-USERNAME, just because one user is breaking the rules doesn't mean you should follow. We have discussed the procedure as well and if you are getting muted without a prior warning or two, you can file a complaint. All Moderation staff members are expected to warn periodically however we also reserve the right to mute in an instant if we see fit. A mute in the end is still just a warning and nothing that permanently goes on your record. I already explained that the transition period and adjusting to the new rules is something hard as everyone needs to learn something new but if in a few months the issues are still occurring like right now, we gladly take into consideration changing it back. This is simply not true, there are a lot of complaints about a lot of things and most of the time it only concerns a small portion of the community. I wouldn't say 10 people out of thousands of active players is a good example to justify a failing rule. Please bear with us. I have to inform you that all staff members are part of the community, part of the active player-base as well, myself included. The answer to your questions is a yes, we looked at different perspectives and I can assure you that moderating would be a whole lot easier with people simply obeying the rules as they are written and take complaints to the forum instead of rebelling ingame. I have been a Moderator for about 6 months now and I can assure you that the Help Chat could be moderated every single day and I would walk out of every Moderation session with quiet-bans. This chat is filled with rule breaking stuff all the time, users' not obeying the rules or simply ignoring what they are being told. We are already very easy on Help Chat but at some point we have to draw a line.

Hello Ma77ix, I am the Moderator Team Leader and part of the 3 man group (Mod, Tmod & CC leader) who pushed this change forward. We discussed this internally with every Moderator, Trade-Moderator and Community Coordinator and almost unanimously agreed that the Help Chat should stay a place for story, quest and game mechanic questions. This is not a new rule for the Help Chat, just a more clarified version of it. You weren't allowed to ask rating questions in Help Chat previously as well. We decided that chats around move-sets, desired abilities or natures, individual values and effort values should exclusively stay in Battle Chat going forward. This not only an attempt to separate the usages of each of our chats but also an attempt to revive the battle chat. You noted this yourself as the battle chat is "dead". Almost any and all questions are really quick to be answered this does not mean you are allowed to do it in those chats as this would destroy the purpose of it. All Chat could be interpreted as a chat for everything and Help Chat could be interpreted as a chat for every question but we would like to have them separated and have specific conversations in specific chats. This isn't going to change for a while and you will have to get used to it, if in a few months this rule change failed, we can discuss it again internally and openly with our community but until then please get used to it. The Battle Chat is exactly for that, it is a chat designed for PvP and Pokemon questions. I hope this clarifies our standpoint a little bit more.
