  1. Hello, we have added Avoid Last Opponent to reduce boring repetitions that are inevitable in Normal Ranked PvP. Unfortunately, this may also result in potentially longer queue times as a negative effect. Since this is not a problem in Random-PvP, as teams are generated, we will not offer this option there.

    Update Logs

Re-released the previously reverted update: Changelog 02.05.2023: Testers can now access a possible damage output log, eliminating the need for large samples to estimate the damage range. Added a staff command to restrict specific users from spending coins. When Encore forces you to use another move you will lose PP on the move you were forced into now. Coded Sonic Boom. Z-Moves ignore Taunt, Disable and Encore restrictions now. Rayquaza can only mega evolve if it is not holding a Z-Crystal now. Perish Song will only fail if all Pokémon on the field have the ability Soundproof now. Guardian of Alola now deals damage equal to 3/16 of the defender's HP when the defender is protected. Secret Power now causes sleep instead of paralysis under Grassy Terrain. Color Change can no longer change into the None-type. Custap Berry now activates at the start of the next turn, not the same turn when its user's HP meets the activation condition. After a Pokémon fainted, switching in a new Pokemon will trigger held berries now. A rounding issue has been fixed for the second hit caused by Parental Bond. Air Balloon will now pop when a Substitute is hit by a damaging move.
  3. This feature has existed in multiple other pokemon online games for many years already. It's not even a remotely new idea. But that really doesn't matter. This is a fruitless argument. I am not trying to deny that. If this fact has importance to you that is completely fine. I just personally don't assign it much relevance. This is the crux of the misunderstanding and the source of your anger I believe. In my initial rejection I very clearly communicated my reasons for why the idea was rejected at the time. This was not related to who made the suggestion or what status the person had. I think anyone would be hard-pressed to come up with data that supports such a claim. But what is even more important here is the reasoning behind this accusation of nepotism. It seems you have the impression that the vote was a proposal by Shinohara and I accepted it because of that. That is not at all what happened. People recently brought the idea to me in droves long before the voting thread was created. (A certain other pokemon game that has this feature and recently gained some traction might have been one of the reasons for this.) I still was of the opinion that the potential downsides of such a feature might be too big but I discussed it and arrived at a solution that takes care of the two biggest worries I had about such a feature. Namely, chat spam, and exposing people to harassment over rare shinies. To get a feel of how the community thinks about this I asked Shinohara to create a Vote and even heavily editorialized his initial draft myself to remove bias from the proposal before he posted it. At this point we were still in the information gathering phase and no decisions had been made. But after the vote so heavily favored the feature even though many didn't even realize that I included solutions to the two most expressed worries, I agreed to implement the feature. There is no favoritism going on here and neither am I trying to snub you. I didn't reject the initial proposal because you are not part of the staff. I have decided against the feature in the past, the circumstances surrounding my initial decision have changed in the meantime, and so I have reconsidered and ultimately decided to give it another chance. And the reception the second time around is much more positive than the reception was back when you initially suggested it. Shinohara was one of the advocates of the feature so I gave him the task of creating a vote because that is one of the many tasks he does in his staff role. I hope you understand better now how we as a team arrived at this decision.

Hello, the problem was not on our but Paypal's side, therefore there's nothing we can do about it.

    Update Logs

Changelog 29.03.2023: Updated Unity version. Replays are now available in the PvP window. [Video] You can now watch your own replays from your perspective. Your last 50 battles will be accessible. Only battles fought after this update will display dead Pokemon in the tooltips. Battles older than February 1st 2023 do not have a replay Fixed the Pokemon spawn times in the Pokedex. Fixed the multi-hit animation. You will see five hit animations for moves that hit five times now. The confusion check will now occur before the paralyze check. Fixed a critical bug in the Shutdown/Restart command. Fixed a critical bug where users were able to return any lending trade, even if they weren't related to the trade. Fixed a critical bug where NPC battles didn't get a cooldown. Griseous Orb boosts the power for Giratina-Origin now. King's Rock no longer causes an opponent to flinch when they're behind a Substitute. The Easter Volcarona form was replaced by a new version. Few small reworks, clean-ups and optimizations.
  7. I'm considering adding a PvE Coin Shop countperart to the shiny legendary prestige mounts in the PvP Coin Shop. For this, I'd like to brainstorm some ideas with the community and hear your thoughts on the ideas I've come up with so far. 1. Shadow Mounts with an exclusive particle effect: I don't necessarily suggest to add this particle effect, it's just an example on how it could look like. 2. Mecha Mounts with an exclusive particle effect. No example as we do not have any Mecha Mounts yet. 3. Change regular Pokemon to Mecha themed forms. Example forms: Naturally, any prestige item or form that is implemented would require a significant amount of PvE Coins, which can only be obtained by beating in-game content. You're encouraged to share your thoughts on the ideas presented or propose new ones. Please avoid repeating ideas that have already been mentioned by others. Instead of making simple posts like "I like this" or "support this", you can show your approval by reacting positively to the posts.
  8. Hello, this is not the reason we did that. It's to give scripters the option to add more regular item rewards without having to worry about multi-account players. It's definitely an option once we added multi-characters in PRO where we can add cross character (currently accounts) restrictions.
  9. Hello, it's definitely planned to add a reset account option once we added multi-character accounts where we can add cross character (currently accounts) restrictions.
  10. Hello, we currently do not plan to revert the way Return work.
  11. Hello, in the future it might be possible to give access to the maps for a Mysterious Ticket. However, at this time we have not decided what we want to do with Shadow-themed Pokemon. I even worked on some small in-battle animations which will probably never be added in PRO: https://walrosskastanie.com/fb480294380fc7ce633287d4.mp4 https://walrosskastanie.com/530dd5bcbba790bfe3b1de4c.mp4
  12. Hello, there's a way to make this possible. Put the Pokemon that can mega evolve in first place and evolve it. It will turn back once it died or the battle ended though.

    Update Logs

Upcoming changelog XX.01.2023: Reworked Lending Trade from scratch. Held items will be sent via mail now if the lent Pokemon returned to its original owner, and the user already had the maximum amount in the inventory. Reworked PvP log. Has currently no impact on players but might be in the future. Added PvP Replay (Staff-only for now). Misty Terrains halves Dragon-type damage now. Reworked Future Sight from scratch. Coded Doom Desire. Wild Pokemon can no longer steal items with Pickpocket. Few small reworks, clean-ups and optimizations.
  14. It won't have any effect if they cannot find an opponent.
  15. The probability of encountering a WQ-themed Pikachu is far higher than any other form. Therefore, we do not plan to add held items. If we implement all caps, they will be made available differently.
  16. Unfortunately, we are unable to add a third PvP ladder at this time due to a lack of participation. As such, it is very unlikely that we will be able to add a ladder that requires even more time and effort to build a team for.
  17. It's planned to release all Pokemon including legendaries. It's just a matter of time.

  19. Hello, this is exactly what the in-game item tools are for.
  20. Hello, I'd first like to thank you for taking the time to consider and write this post. I can completely understand how it might feel for you and others that we're neglecting Shiny Pokémon. There are some Shiny collectors and players who trade in Shiny Pokémon. Particularly rare Shiny Pokémon are constantly being traded. Especially wealthy players trade with these practically every month. They buy them and try to sell them at a higher price or simply add them to their collection. This market is the reason we've never touched the Shiny chance in the game and don't have any plans to change that. It could end up destroying an important market without any significant benefits for our players. I like the idea of giving Shiny Pokémon more value for casual players, however I can guarantee you that they already have an enormous value for our players. Unfortunately this doesn't apply to common Shiny Pokémon, which is why we added Rich Guy Joro, who exchanges them for PvE coins. If it's your own OT, you get 5 PvE coins. If it's a different OT, you still get 3 PvE coins. Another thing I don't think is well thought out is that such a Shiny contest could be manipulated. Since the Pokémon are not deleted, no OT check is performed and they could have been caught at any time, small groups or even guilds can join forces, submit their Shiny Pokémon through a single person and potentially share the rewards. With your suggested reward, it's actually not so easy, but it could be possible to create an account that's specifically used by these people for hunting. I hope I was able to explain why I unfortunately didn't think the idea was that good. If you see things differently, however, I'm open to being convinced with good arguments.
