As many of you may be able to realize, Vermillion City, and pokecenter, are the most popular, and thus most changing ones. Something i would like to request is rather not to constantly add stuff to vermillion, and change the map for the likes, but rather change somewhere else. For example, Sinnoh is one of the least populated regions, because once it's done there's nothing to do there other than a couple bosses, some dig spots, and quests. For that reason i would like to suggest that for future, more stuff be added to other regions, and not just have everything happen in vermillion. This would also prompt players to have more intention to beat the whole game and not just stop after hoenn. I understand that most people would think something to the effect of "this is pointless", but to be honest i just get bored of seeing everyone sitting in vermillion because it's the only place that gets stuff for it.

A lot of pokemon can use rock climb too and we rearly need it but we still gut the Abseil Rope Tool. (same for Flashlight and other tools/moves) So I dont see this as an argument against the suggestion.

Hey Bhimoso, if you forgot to mention or I didn't see, in the game settings there's an option that involves around the speed of the text and animations during battle, for beginners, they don't necessarily know that taking off animations and maxing out speed makes the battle faster, so it makes the training less draining and it gives us enough time to do both stats to 252 before the Safari Time runs out (based on my experience). I'd love if you could mention that in the guide, if as I said I didn't notice that part, if not the guide is complete, 'grats!!

Sorry for that :D So let me give a proper answere now: The Mount does not count as Bike. It has the same speed and everything, but in order to Access any Bike Routes you will need to own the Bike. Hi, thank you to elty and akalli for bringing such arguments. I joined PRO 3 years ago, nothing of this was contemplated. Before stating any personal opinion, it is a FACT that a good amount of players we disagree on how the game we love has evolved. That's already a point and I would be really disappointed if you repply saying that also a good amount of people agree with how you act. I do not want this to run in circles so I'll be clear. 1) I agree that people with potential to be a good moderator should have a second chance (with some limits). SAME stuff goes for players, EVERY player, and of course, an explanation must be given in case of ban, always. I did some mistakes in the past and I'm grateful for having been forgiven, I would like every player to have such a treat. 2) BUT I also have witnessed an unfair and unmesured abuse of power of some mods, wich literally have banned me for saying gg in battle chat. The most incredible bans I have suffer/seen are most of them from the same person. I'm not gonna say his name but it starts with an "E", and it ends with "piales". Read how many people is complaining about this, can't be a coincidence. 3) I know you have nothing to do with Teerav stuff but I want to say 2 things. First one is that when I first talked about how slowly and chaotic his tourney was I got the same commentary by different people: "He also scammed me". On the other hand, In a nation with an entrenched bill of rights or a written constitution, ex post facto legislation may be prohibited. 4) Healthy beef makes PART of tournaments and you don't know how much encourages players. I feel like ladder tournament atmosphere is too boring and stressed right now. The issue I had with Glogs is, in some way, a good example of it. I never said anything about the game not having a Staff Team. It's obvious that every online game needs one. What I was trying to say is you should make a new Moderation Team voted by the community itself. My suggestion was exactly similar to ThatKid's. Give you evidence so you can take action cause most of the things claimed here is factually not true? As the Head Moderator answer me First @Qeight , Why can't moderators show people the evidence of why they were banned in the first place? You say it's cause so the reporter can stay anonymous. But then again, why should we trust moderators with the evidences in the first place? It's totally almost the same as saying "We can't show you the evidence but you deserved it. You gotta believe us on that." Even if the appealing party did deserve the punishment why should he trust Moderators with the evidence? and what if he is innocent? How in the world is he supposed to know what happened if he can't see the evidence? The reporter can even make fake evidences without breaking a sweat. It's 2019. How can we know that the Moderators aren't abusing their powers in that way?. By the way, I clearly know the meaning of "Bias".

You can't possibly say a lot of this stuff is just not true because I know what I know and you know what you know. You can't say what I know is not true, nor can you say what someone else has mentioned here is not true either. There is definitely some truth and perhaps more than you'd like to admit because you're in a staff position and don't want to overstep. If you weren't in a staff position right now, you'd assumptively had something to say regarding staff but knowing you, would've kept it to yourself. For example: A month or two back I had a tussle with Logan on discord and he went to my appeal and took words out of it and used it against me in a DM. No matter the incident/situation, he should not have done that, at all. That was breaking a rule: 4. Sharing your appeal outside of the appeal center may result in the instant denial of your appeal. Staff will never share your appeal so neither should you. And yet he used direct words from my appeal. Now, is that just not true or? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Since you got straight to the point, allow me that same courtesy. The recruitment system is not working. Let's use Blaze Guild as an example. How many PRO staff have been recruited and invited from that guild into staff? How many members of guilds were made a staff and if you could make a list and present that i'd be happy. There is unity guild who had members of staff, there is reborn guild who now has two devs that were previously banned. I can go on and on. But this system of taking guild members because you know them either personally or as a friend and therefore vouch for them, needs to stop immediately. I know two members of staff that to a point, harassed me in all chat because my Azelf was careful natured and I made a general complaint post and raged there. Those two came to all chat in their normal player accounts and harassed me and mocked me for it and another member which I only found out yesterday was a former staff, was also helping them. All three of them were in a guild. I can say I want those two removed as staff but then that'd look like as if I don't like them. But one thing is clear, there are corrupt staff right now in PRO and the current staff do not like to read about it, instead were are told to remain silent or we'll be sanctioned. You can choose to believe me or not. But I know my truth. This isn't an assault on any staff member but some form of action needs to be taken.

Why should we be scared of staff punishments because we sayng our opinion? Why staffs don't care about what community thinks when selecting a mod? Everyone pretty good knows that major problem for pro is moderators,and no one can prove opposite. Why staff seeks for respect, when they itself don't respect you? Every conversation that were about staff, always was avoided, that makes you think staff will never changhe(not all). Some of staff doenst care about players, they are happy of their advantage. Why can't be everything be good and fair for everyone? Why do you always try to defend a staff when he is hated if community doenst like him? Why do you seek for suggestions when you ignore them? Long ago pro was cool and chill place to stay in, now it turned on a place where the staff tryes as much as possible to get advantage upper than basic players. They always hungry for powers. Its really cool that not every staff being like that, and obviously those staff got respected by us. Really, its time to change, players always fight staff, and because of that some mids insta-mute or ban, they don't try to ask what they dun like. Developer like wally should be also respected, he is the one who bringed to pro new life, if not him pro would be played probably by 100 players or less. First of all, I would like to thank Akalli as Eltyyy for letting everybody know the truth. When I linked my memories of what happened way back then with your reply I could clearly say that you were 100% right. I started playing this game a long time ago and back then it wasn't like this. It was actually fun and players actually enjoyed their time playing it. But slowly this game got completely destroyed by most of the biased staff members. All these biased members in discord acted like " Try trash talking me kid, I'll ban you before you know it" and it wasn't even the Official PRO Discord. Like what the hell, you are just a staff member in a MMO RPG game not a king ruling his pupils ffs. Don't you think you should act a little bit more friendly towards all the players instead of talking to them like you are their king or something? About the Discord moderators :- Most of them have ego which is bigger than mountains. I seriously have no idea how these people got selected to be Discord Moderators when there are lots of old and experienced people out there who have actually known this community for a long time and knows how to handle it. Most probably by the method Akalli mentioned in his reply, "Being friends with a Staff Member". About the Current Moderation :- The current moderation in game is utter bullcrap. I, myself had to delete "All Chat" so that I wouldn't be mute banned and I have also seen a lot of other people deleting it too. Muting people for simply typing "lmao" and talking about Football? Are you being serious here? PEOPLE ARE GETTING MUTED EVEN FOR WRITING MEMES IN ALL CHAT GOD DAMN IT. Are we supposed to talk about only Pokemon all day in "All Chat"? I have encountered MODS who don't even meet the requirements to become a MOD in a first place. Biased Staff Members and their friends be like, "Friend: Hey ...., I just applied to become a Moderator. But I don't meet some of the requirements sadly. Like I can't speak fluent English and I don't understand a lot of English words either. I think I'm also not 18 yet. Could you help me out, please? Pretty please? <3 Biased Staff Member: Of course. You are my friend! You'll become a Moderator for sure!" This is basically what is happening in all the Discord Mod - Staff Selections nowadays. Please recruit people who actually know how to MODERATE. Just muting people isn't called Moderating. Suggestions : Make a voting system on all the Discord Mod - Staff selections. After all the applications for a staff member, the current Staff Members should choose like 5 or 8 people who are best suitable for an addition to the Staff Team. Then let the whole PRO community decide which 2 or 3 should be in the Staff Team. This way people will get to know the Staff members before they even become one which will help them to ease up a little bit in front of them. In this way current Staff Members can also clean the stain of "Unfair Selection" which a lot of people (including me) put on them these days. Also, This might seem impossible and I think it kind of is but, I think It's best for the Game and for the Community if the current Staff Members were all demoted and new Staff Member were chosen again from the scratch by a Dev. At last I would like to state that, Everything I wrote above isn't meant to insult any individual or the current Staff Members themselves. I didn't mean any insult to any staff members, they can keep on doing what they think is best for this community, this forum thread is for the better future of PRO afterall. There are really cool staffs like Logan who always acts respective regards to community, and don't keeping himself higher than other, its a really loved staff by community, regarding to other staff (in my point). In my opinion its one of most respected staff i ever saw. A pretty fun fact is that most of cheating people getting 2nd chance, for example botting, my old friend got banned for this clause, and never has given 2nd chance, when some of other botters, that's is literally liked by an staff member, he gets his chance, and acting like everything is fine. From my point, more than 50% of staff is bullshit, some of them always powerabusing, and the staff "heads" saying "he will be trained better" like tf. My suggestion is literraly to reform a bunch of staff and start by new beggining. I really hate how most of staff has been selected, "haha i like you, you gunna be a great mod" that's my impression how staffs being selected. Its one of most worst staff community i ever saw on my life. More looks like a kindergarten, where a kid has given powers and he does everything he wants. Conclusion: Act LOYAL to EVERY player from pro community, and not to THE only people who you like because he is HECK COOL. REFORM most of bullshit staff that doenst deserve his role. DON'T select staff because you like him and you know him. CHANGE chat rules in game, they really changed on worst side, new changes(most of em) is unnecessary and is also bullshit. You're the first one to blame staff for the unjustified ban you received back in the day,but you're also the first one to give those. Didn't you ban two of your close friends,for "boosting" when you yourself knew there was no boosting involved? You're gonna deny that all your want,but all you wanted was to "satisfy other staff members". You knew they never boosted,but because Staff was biased against them,you decided to ban them and proceed to make them waste their time. Let me tell you,you're no better than any of these biased staff members that acted against you. Sugar,former PRO admin,went out of her way multiple times during the official summer tournament of last year so Dakivid could advance without battling.Why? Because TR3Y got banned (completely stupid reason but we'll pass on that one), Rekkuza official host of the tournament decided it was ok to let TR3Y play since the ban was gonna expire before the ending of the round and the round was a quarter final match,which was quite important. Sugar threatened to quit staff multiple times if Dakivid wasn't advanced,Sugar said she would ban anyone who goes against her judgement. You,I,and everyone else involved called this situation bullshit,how come that you coming into staff,made sure that Sugar didn't loose her role? It was enough at that point with her repetitive bias to get rid of it,but all you guys want is to protect your cute circle jerk. This is not all though,the only way we got this information was because somebody leaked it to us,among the staff members,as I do have some respect for that person I will not reveal who it was,because you and I,Felix,know who it was.I'll ask you again,how come,you,claiming you want to remove any bias staff member,didn't do anything against this person,because even if I have respect for that person,after you leak such informations,you should never remain into staff.Well you thought.That person is an administrator now. Forums rules relating to Pokémon shop subforum Can I ask what lead to the 2nd rule 'Do not sell Shiny Pokémon or Special Variant Pokémon here.' being implemented. It feels to me like the only reason that this exists is to create activity in the shiny forum. I completely understand why shiny pokes aren't allowed in the selling pokes subforum as it makes sense some people aren't interested in them. However I feel like a Pokémon shop should be for all your Pokémon(when you have more than 5). I'm against this rule as it means I then need to run a 2nd thread in a 2nd forum for no gain either to me or as far as I can see the community. Other downsides that I can see apart from running a 2nd thread is that it will probably need bumping alot(false traffic and spam imo), and I won't be able to post a thread for an individual shiny for a quick sale. Shiny Pokemon in the Selling pokemon forum - harm = some people arn't interested in shiny pokemon and it creates spam none Shiny pokemon in the shiny/event forum - harm = shiny people want shinies not your none shiny trash :) (spam) shiny pokemon inside a shop full of none shiny pokemon - harm = ? its not spam since the thread already exists Tldr: rule 2 of pokeshops exists why?

Adapt your moderation : a 'W' in trade chat is not a fault or an obligation to warn a player, someone speaking another language in another chat could have made a fail of tab, don't warn him. These are some kind of examples which could be better handled. It's not making an exception, it's adapting moderation to real cases. One player could have fail, 2 players in less than 5 minutes is probably an infraction. Judge everyone differently : If you warn and mute someone , please, only warn the second player. The 2nd player can just connect, or just switch chat, or re-open the chatbox ( i kept it closed when i farm ) and has never seen the warn. Adapt your sanctions : When someone is muted for swearing, stop over-cumulating the sanction until banning him. No provocation on mod, adapt duration and don't sanction on the next duration stage. If weeks between sanctions , maybe reset or just pass on previous duration stage. Be more precise : When you moderate, precise more the message of the sanction. Some players are sanctionned with one word as reason and really don't understand why they are muted. You forced them to make an appeal. Find a way when players dc/crash and don't have the name of the buyer/seller. We could only find the buyer/seller in Trade chat as they keep this chat open. So asking ' Hey the man who sells Charizard, pm me ' is the best way to find again the guy. They surely don't have All Chat or Another chat open at this moment. Don't moderate this case until a proper way is find. There was a specific case : Lot of french players got sanctionned from the French channel because of their behavior. We decided to create a private channel and invited all the guys who wanted to speak freely. We couldn't speak freely because : Couldn't force a password (desactivated) The mod (Epiales) was aware of the channel because some players enforced the rules and advertised the channel on French channel => Give again the option of password for the private channels plz Over the 3 years of PRO, lot of players left PRO because of the extrem application of the rules and the no-adaptation to each case and each people. oof hopefully this isn’t a waste of time again. The rules now are just fine and everyone should be familiar with them. To begin with, the biggest problem imo is the quickness a mute is given and the inconsistency between all the mods. You might think that mods don’t insta mute, but they do or that they warn, but they don’t, and it’s very clear, pretending that they don’t only makes things worse. Every mod I see does their job to the extreme. For example, if someone types “w” in trade chat, there's a mod there telling them trade chat is used only for trades. Why? It could have easily been a mistake. Why do players get warned/muted for making simple mistakes? It doesn’t make any sense to me. Also, a general warning for the chat isn’t very effective, imo they should warn people personally because not everyone has their full attention to the chat and they might miss a warning. I know it’s a lot of work but I think it would be better. The swearing filter seems pointless if we’re still asked to not swear, but I guess it’s for pms or a custom chat. Secondly, it doesn’t seem to matter if players complain about mods, nothing happens and our voices are left unheard. It’s not a good thing to have players resent the mod team. Another point is how often mods are active, there’s rarely one in-game, I understand they are people with lives but they are mods for a reason and they should be more active. If they can’t make time for the game then maybe someone who can should get that position. Also, I know they don’t have an obligation to do so, but helping players with questions they have would be a nice thing from them. There are a lot of players who don’t like mods and I can’t blame them because some do a very bad job. That’s not to say that players don’t break rules and don’t deserve a mute/ban but like all people, mods make mistakes and it’s disingenuous to act as if they don’t. You’ve managed to alienate so many players with the excessive pestering mods give(when they actually get online) to the point that there are hundreds of players that won’t even bother with making a post here because they think it’s a waste of time and that nothing will change. I do agree with that sentiment but I still try to voice my opinion no matter how minor it is I want this game to improve because I love this game and the people I’ve met. The way I would like things to be, is there would be a voting system where players vote for who should become mods from the apprentices and they would also vote for mods to not be mods anymore. You seem to have an excuse for everything so this is probably a giant waste of time. You also seem to want to keep up a façade that mods don’t suck, and you might want some examples as to why I think they do, and I could go on and on with examples and you will go on and on about how my examples aren't valid, but nothing will change. You will shrug off any kind of criticism, be it justified or not, and keep doing a bad job. Kinda sucks that you don’t listen to players but oh well. Well, I will try to make it simple. =D I never had ''serious'' problem with Staff itself. A 30 seconds mute ban when the last rule about Rate was on, and a warning maybe one month ago. I'm not perfect, it happen to me to make little mistakes, but still I do all my best to follow the rules. I'm glad to see that things such as cheating are taken seriously. Same with harashment and other unacceptalbe stuff. My main concern here is very simple. I dont like lax system of rules, but I like to see logical people being moderator or else. I will give some exemples to better explain what I mean (It is morning here and I see that my english is pretty bad right now). - A dude write the famous sentence: Omae wa mou shindeiru. Some players write Nani!?! A staff member say to speak english in All chat. I personaly explain him it is a meme. Of course it is useless, he even say to me he is himself Japanese. =/ - A dude look very happy today, maybe he found an Epic Pokemon =D. So happy that he is singing in real life, he want to share what he sing so he put 3 message in a row in all chat with some lyrics of his song (3 sentences, not the wholes lyrics). A moderator tell him to stop spamming. =c - This happened yesterday. A guy simply asked in trade chat: The guy who was talking with me, pm me again, I got dc. A Staff member told him to stop talk in trade chat. For me this last one is the worst. The guy was obviously trying to trade with a guy and talking with him via pm. He might have closed the window accidently, or maybe he even get disconected for a reason. The easiest way for him to contact the dude back was to talk one time in trade chat. Those are three exemples of what I believe would have been done better. Of course, I dont think any more serious measure have been taken, it was mostly warnings but still it is what I wanted to show in this thread. I know mistakes happens, I also it is possbile that you simply answer me that they have done their job, wich I would also understand. I just wanted to take the opportunity to show some stuff I dont like personaly. I have an idea right now. I will share it to you and we will see if this is pertinent. It happened to me to make chat report and I usually do when the chat bocome to much ''hard to live'' for me and many players. Problem is that reporting Chat related stuff on forum take time, and it can also take time for a mod to see the thread, solve the problem and then answer. It would be a good idea to have a kind of ''report center'' on PRO official Discord. I put quote cos this is not really like that. This could also be specific to public chat infraction. I know it would be hard to handle, I'm just sharing the idea. It would help the chat problems being solve fastly. EDIT: This is mainly to have a place where we can have help when the chat turn really bad (No stuff like botting, trade ect) Some Staff members still plays the game sometimes, and when they see really serious thing, they can alwais jump on their Staff account to solve the problem. But the reality is that they are not alwais there. It happened to me to see the chat being a hell for 15-20 minutes. The problem is not the punishements I know they will be punished. Good day, First of all I want to thank the people involved in opening this topic for discussion. I think it’s really important to see what the general player base has to say for feedback on how to improve this game in every aspect possible, to make it more enjoyable for everyone and just generally keep the community involved in decision making as well. After all, it is a fan-made game and keeping the fans’ ideas/concerns in high regard can really make things better from my point of view. We’re all here because we love Pokémon in the end. I feel like some of my main concerns have already been mentioned briefly so I’d like to elaborate them with a bit more depth and help explain things that go through our minds as regular players, bear with me. ^^ Felix, you’ve mentioned that moderators are not there to socialize with players in game and are only there to moderate. I feel like there’d be a lot more benefit if the community felt the staff’s presence in ways other than just punishment. Like for me personally, for a good long year of playing the game I never really saw moderators as actual people. Just the approach and way of speaking seems very unauthentic and robotic to say the very least which makes the players feel really distant. I think that’s one aspect that can really be approved. You can still be “professional” but still have some sort of affection and personality displayed at the same time. -With regards to the report system: I’m talking only from personal experience. I’ve sent in a trade report not too long ago (last Monday to be specific). I hadn’t received a reply for a few days and decided to “bump” my report and only then did I receive a reply. Not only that but the reply just seemed so completely vague, unhelpful, poorly written and -if we’re going a little overboard- triggered my "OCD" because of the poor punctuation. It just seemed like a typical “copy-paste” delayed response that if I was still a new player sending this report in, would likely encourage me not to use the report system again because we all really know how much of a hassle it is to take multiple screenshots to support your case and upload them onto the forums only to get that response. When we’re reporting something, we need to stop everything we’re doing and just focus our attention on that in hopes that we’re helping the game in any way possible. We sort of expect the same from you in return. I want to make it clear that this is not in any way meant to offend anyone because it’s not specific to last week’s incident, and I truly do understand that staff are all “volunteers” and work in their own pace/ time, but once it gets to a point where I need to bump a report that takes no less than 20 minutes of my time to send in only to get a careless response, then this is what goes through my mind and many others must feel the same: “You’re here to volunteer but you can’t make the time to look into a basic report and put in as much concern as the person sending it in has?” (This also ties to my other point as well, about being professional yet displaying some sort of human personality.) There really needs to be a competence level each staff member should meet and specific standards to be met at all times, if you’re having trouble keeping up with all this volunteering business then step down and get someone who is actually interested in helping the game and making the time for it and its players. This should apply to everyone equally. Please, don’t just be a color on the forums. This is all from a player’s perspective and this affects me as a player. We need you guys to keep this game running well! I won’t go into full details about unjust bans and punishments to be honest. I’ve been quite vocal in my appeal which I’m sure you’ve all read and I’m fed up with the topic. I just have a few suggestions that I hope might be looked into: I want to suggest that there be a part of the staff “a council or committee” specifically there to look into appeals and especially appeals of higher grade punishments such as bans just to have a third party’s unbiased perspective. I understand it’s probably protocol for the person who issued the punishment to look into the appeal but it becomes unsaid that each person will always be inclined to think they’re in the right and therefore, inclined to believe their judgment is the correct one. It’s just basic psychology. I have to agree with @Nixs about the whole evidence issue, it really makes it hard to defend yourself when you don’t exactly know the context or evidence used against you in the report. I’ve been in situations where I didn’t even remember half the things I was told. You should be able to properly defend yourself for what you’ve done. Another thing I’ve noticed is that punishments have been being issued first and investigations are conducted afterwards to see whether the punishment is right or not. “Punch First, Ask Questions While Punching” it just really doesn’t make sense at all to me. (And yes that was a LoL reference, I thought it fit quite well ^^). Last but not least and I think it might be a long shot since I have no clue about the coding involved, but I really wish I could just right click a player and select “report” :L ~Again thank you for taking the time to look into our concerns. A lot of players much like me really appreciate it and some of the recent changes have been wonderful, particularly the new auction rules/guide. My biggest complaint is that staff role changed over the Time. When i started the game back in 2016 a staff Member was active in Chats and helped people. I rarely see any staff ingame who just answer questions there. In my opinion staff (this case Community coordinator? I guess) Are Way too far away from the Community. Staff should be someone people can go to if they got questions or problems and not someone who just works of his list of reports and punishes people.

Complaints about moderators in game always shuting down topics even if there not bad and geting mute banned for no reason
