Guild Island Spawns Update 2021 Many users complained about Guild Island spawns and that the spawn roll pretty much decides whether it's worth or not to enter Guild Island. That's why there'll be a few changes for the Guild Island spawns (probably) starting next month, February 2021. Depending on whether all preparations and spawn sets are completed by then, it might also drag on until March 2021. We will rework current spawn sets. Feel free to post suggestions for spawn sets here. The spawn set has a 3% chance to change every six hours. So OFFENSIVE might change to DEFENSIVE. Every time the spawn set does not change raises the chance by +1%. Every day without a spawn set change would raise the chance by 4%. Every spawn set has the chance to get selected. 10 spawn sets would mean a 1/10 chance for every set. There'll be a NPC where users on Guild Island can vote for a specific spawn set. 50 votes would change it to 2/11, 100 votes to 3/12. 50 votes on two spawn sets would change it from 1/10 to 2/12 for both of them and so on. Votes from users that beat the Guild Island boss count double. Users will be able to subscribe spawn sets and get an in-game notification as soon as the spawn sets get selected. Only two of three hunt maps on Guild Island will be part of the spawn sets. The third map will get fixed spawns except a rare Tier9-Pokemon. The Tier9 Pokemon will change every time the spawn set changes. It will consist of not catchable but previously obtainable Pokemon, such as Mimikyu. Also, there'll be a 7,500 Pokedollars fee to enter Guild Island. Users with an active Train Ticket do not have to pay. The current requirements to enter Guild Island do not change.

StoryQuest is very easy compared to the previous event. I didn't say its a bad thing and I'm aware that the quest difficulty is reduced as its influenced by previous feedback of Xmass event, I still did not finish the rest of the storyq but I know that the difficulty is somehow lacking, I personally want a little bit more challenging of battles yet still that new players can afford to finish it. Enjoyment - 7/10 since I've been having trouble lately like I didn't encounter a event bagon so far although I already caught over 60 boxes kekw.

Hello, During the event, I indeed saw many people having desynchronisation issues causing the clouds puzzle to be a complete mess. From a script point of view, this can be handled in a certain extent and I already know how I can improve this part for future additions thanks to reports like yours ^^. Adding enjoyable and well balance content are what we care for, that’s why I don’t think server crashes should refrain us from trying something different. Thank you for your post.

In the meantime, you can always try out BetterHunt, which essentially is the same, but improved on some areas. I know it may seem biased of me to reccomend it, because I know the developers behind it, but this is not to advertise or reccomend it on a personal level. It seems like betterfarm is no longer actively supported by the looks of it, meanwhile BetterHunt still is.

Apologies if you don't like the way i look at things, i just find that generally people don't look at the downsides of a problem and rather only look at the good things this can bring, or simply, as you did, give a "+1" and move on. I generally think that there can be many good things that come with this suggestion, however at the same time this suggestion already has a way to be stopped by simply seeing the "Are you sure you wanted to release this pokemon". And yes, i do understand that you would be upset at me when i said -1 to your suggestions, while explaining my reasoning, that you would be upset, but personally, didn't think they'd work out. Hi, I am relatively new to the server, as I have only completed the Johto and Kanto regions, and have not unlocked Hoenn yet, but I had fun in the valentines event. I would like to note that without unlocking Hoenn and Sinnoh, I could not complete the quests associated with the event. I enjoyed catching pokemon I was not able to catch before, so it was still fun. Maybe next time have stuff to do in Kanto and Johto also for the newer players. Thanks, MonsterMax

Enjoyment: 7 Because some quests were lagging when I did. difficulty: 4 Nothing so difficult, only the lagging even hindered a lot when escorting the nido and in the maze of clouds. Perspective of the story: 7 The apollo boss could be better built, 03pokemon team at least. Reward: 7 By the size of the event were good.

Enjoyment Well to begin, I really liked the area's you guys added fort his year. A cloudy area again, a swamp area and some dragon cloud thing lol. Overal enjoyment was on the "Eh, okay" side for me. Quest Difficulty Not too shabby, not too hard but also not too easy. Well balanced (Unlike some ridiculous story battles where they have all 252EV's.. Those not fair at all and kinda bs imo *Ahem Sinnoh Start quest*). Story/Lore perspective To be fair, I never pay attention to the story.. Too much dialog. Could've done a lot more simple and basic. Effort/Reward Ratio The annoying Nidoqueen chasing part, good god never do that again please. I liked last years reward a bit more: Valentine Clefable lvl 80. Sure the Salamencite is fun and all, but probably a lot of people will never use it anyways. So the reward could've been something different. That was my opinion about it :D

I'll start by saying obviously the server crashes throughout the event were unfortunate and probably caused by recklessly adding way too much code at once, but thats aside the point. The thing I'd really like be considered going forward is that things like this could happen again, and quests such as the one where you escort the nidoqueen to the drifblim were nearly impossible due to all the lag and crashing at points. I don't mind events having quests with tasks, but stuff like stealth / escort quests should absolutely never be considered again in an event quest thats time sensitive. Something that shouldve taken me 5-10 minutes at most took me like 3-4 hours because of the lag and crashing interfering and resetting the quest on me.

I enjoyed the event a lot being able to get salamancite and cosmetics as reward is amazing. The only thing i didnt enjoy was the cloud part of the event it felt really buggy and laggy, also the side quest of the delivery it would have been nice to be able t get all the letters instead of one at a time. Loved the new event forms, spawns were ok and the idea f intrducing a new spawn on event maps (like komala and rockruff on xmas) is really nice and motivates me to go to the maps.

I liked the event overall, the quest length was just fine. I also like the reward and the idea of "non-usable" Megastones being obtainable from events only is a good one I think. However, for future reference, please refrain from including parts like the one in the clouds (where you have to retry and find your own path) in quests when you cannot guarantee that the servers are stable. Doing that part with constant crashes and visual bugs was plain dreadful. As a final note I want to add that (not meaning this event in particular) it feels like the events are overall becoming a tad big, with new ones every year stacking up on existing ones. I'd prefer main events that come back every year, with only small additions or one-time events with cosmetics as rewards or other stuff that is not terrible losing out on. It's really becoming hard to track what part of what events you played already and which ones are still up for you, especially when you've had a break.

I love PRO, but I have a very negative opinion about this events: Its too much. Every month, there is some kind of event. Its too much. The player base is dropping and dropping and old players won't come back for the 10.000 valentines event, the 5.000 halloween event or the 8.000 easter event. I like the summer event and the christmas event and thats enough in my opinion. Its logic, that there is is no time to develop a new region like Astrella, if there is an event like every month. Its not possible. Thats a current critical mistake in my opinion. I love PRO, but with so many events I don't see the possibility for the game to move on to the next level. And lets be real: The next Level would be a new region with maybe the next gen of pokemon. So yes, the events are cool, but with so many of them, the game can't evolve to the next level, because at the end of one event, there is the next one already at the horizon. No time to work on bigger things. And that makes me very sad... Best Regards, Blubb340

Quest was fun to do and 1of the easiest quest so far I have seen .but hunting valantine Pokemon after 2 days I give up .just got 1 Nido and it's not worth hunting. I hope in the future events hunting will be sone what understandable. But reward make me more than happy keep doing good work.

too complicated i couldve never finished anything without a guide and theres 0 fun doing things with a guide ( i had to do the quest for last year too which took most of the time ) the reward from last year quest was a joke ( event clefable .. which is probably my most hated poke after chansey togekiss) but a mega stone is nice to have. the npcs and storys were cool and maps were amazing but overall i wouldnt have known what to do if i wouldnt have seen that guide like there were no hints at all iirc that bothered me

Enjoyment: I loved the quests, art, and story. But hunting feels like a form of punishment. Harsh Odds Ruin Everything. Quest Difficulty: Quest was perfect. 10/10. Story/Lore perspective: Awesome. 10/10. I love Nidoqueen + Jellicent lol. Effort/Reward Ratio: Quest rewards are Great! Hunting makes me want to quit. I pretty much loved EVERYTHING about the Valentines event. Except these things: 1. Event forms have been too rare for too many years. Too exclusive. Halloween was perfect at 1/50, I don't know why it had to be changed. 2. Tier 8 like Vupix-Alolan and Bagon feel like tier 9.5. 3. The Grass Patches in Dragon Neck and Nido Isle are too small for me to hunt in comfortably with my finger / joint issues. 4. Encounters, on the high end, seem to be taking longer to find 1 wild Pokemon than I've ever seen in my 5 years playing the game. 5. Repel and BMS seem to be working less and less often. 6. Ever since the xmas event, I've noticed that more Pokemon than usual, much more frequently than I've ever seen, have many of their IV's at 09 or below. 0x4 very very often. Speed 01-09 like 90% of the time. 7. Compensation for crashes should be global tier reducton of all tiers. Not an impossible World Quest where you can hunt 4 hours straight for 1 tier 8 pokemon and fail to complete WQ. These things are making me reconsider playing, lately. Everything feels impossible. I caught 500 bagon and didn't get a single epic naive sheer force, and I used bms for all 500 catches... The crashes have nothing to do with my demotivation. I will note some of them down before someone leaks it the wrong way. - New Region New region is a custom approach. We call it a mini-region. But it's actually very huge. It is called Astrella, and it's done mapping wise. Region will feature a variety of spawns (gen 7 area), new content, quests, events, trade city and much more. It will be ready once script-work is done for it and once gen 7+ is fully operational, will not release it before that. Reason for a custom area is a simple one. We are unable to map anything past Unova graphic wise without having it improvised 99% and waste much time into art. The MMO setting commands a new region, so it's being delivered. With it, we will have whole game spawned with old and new Pokemon, closer to being complete. The region is currently in hands of scripters. Once they are done, I will spawn it, so you can catch some of the new Pokemon when we receive a full gen 7 update. - Unova Unova is planned and is slowly being mapped. Once it is done and ready, the whole game will be respawned from scratch due to distribution of the Pokemon around PRO world. We are also looking for mapping manpower to complete the task so that mapping side is done and ready for people to script on. - Orange Islands The Orange Islands are also being mapped and planned. Not much to say about this one. ** Note that plans may change any time. But what I said above is a current plan and it's being worked on.
