Everything you said is great and i agree with it. Just pointing out something that i honestly see as wrong here. Doing something for free does give you the right to be an ahole to whoever is enjoying the free service. You do not see volunteer workers who are picking up the trash in the park telling you : "move your [hecking] leg and, let me pickup that godamn can of soda from under the bench where your fatass is sitting , move over before i also pick you up as well like the trash you are" . Doing a free service is not an excuse to be an ahole, just wanted to make that clear since this is where this whole problem started.3 points

Good evening, I've no requests , just a small explanation addressed to the community , There might be some troubles between staff & members due to being so strict or firm on execution , rules or appeals or what so ever. Those people firstly are working basically for free and spending hours of their day instead of having fun in real whether they like the moderating role over all in life or the authority or not so you might say, But what they do is trying to keep a game with a lot of criteria that a lot of people/us enjoying it in an order that kept the game healthy and alive for quite long time extends over 6-7 years. Maintaining an order by rules in anyway and earning respect to execute it , can't be simply done by being as a moderator or staff who takes part in a trolling chat or being malleable or not firm just to be friendly that's not their objective. Please be noted this firm attitude and roles of staff with due respect to the rules are a reason why you can play this game and have fair stuff that can protect you , to keep up with thousands of members with thousand issue to be dealt with daily along with the system errors and so on. So last to say , understand the burden they carry , a lot of the old staff already left the community because they are not willing to put more time in the game and so if you are against the staff traits or behavior you can engage yourself and participate or apply and try handle the tasks and see with your way how not everyone ( your friends specifically ) will treat you and your decisions and feel towards it. Thank you so much all staff community specially to the old ones who lasted till today devoting tons of effort and time. Special thanks/shoutout to : @Senrosia @Shinohara @Qeight @Red @Eaty @Maisa And all other staff members. gl hf ladies & gentlemen.3 points

And now, he is using this thread to put "Aww" and "Haha" reactions under every post that criticizes his behavior, making a complete farce of Shino's attempt to defuse the situation. I am talking to you directly now, Prehax, since you are clearly following this thread and drag it into the dirt: The work you do for PRO is extremely valuable and probably a big part of why PRO feels so good to play, even tho I don't always agree with your changes. That doesn't mean it's infallible and nobody is allowed to critique your work, nor does it excuse your behavior regarding the criticism. The immaturity you present is very damaging for the recognition of the rest of the staff team and maybe you should start thinking about that before you continue acting like this.3 points

Hello PRO Community. I feel I want to share my own opinion on Prehax/Qeight. I feel that as a Game Master you should always display a higher level of maturity than the rest to balance the strict nature which the position sometimes has to deal with. I have seen how he acts and responds in the discord and it gives an impression of arrogance. That said, we do not know what he has to deal with daily. It can be stressful. I saw what happened on discord but I think we need to be more understanding as players. I see discord as a place where staff and the community can "unwind". Ofcourse within the boundaries. We don't know the struggles they go through or what they have to endure every day. Prehax/Qeight is not a bad person at all but because the work he does requires hard decision making that sometimes results in banning, we assume he's bad or corrupt or abusing his power. I know it sounds like I am sucking up but those who know me well can vouch, i'm anything but a suck up. All i'm saying is, let's try and understand one another and support each other, no matter the faults we have as individuals. We are a great community and I hope we can reach newer heights together. Thanks.3 points

Now I understand the problem. I've tested it by removing the channel entirely. I've forwarded this issue to the developers if it's intended or not to see the hidden channels in the Locat chat.2 points

It's me, Mario, once more! It is absolutely correct that staffs should treat players with respect. Likewise, players should treat staffs and each other with respect. There are situations in which this does not happen and even leads to very unpleasant consequences. What I am about to say is by no means meant to be an excuse or to relativize what has been said, but I want players to see things from a different angle as well. Staffs are unpaid volunteers who support the game through their work and moderation staffs in particular get a lot of hatred for it. They are insulted, threatened, every comment is taken out of context and used against them. Signatures were revised to insult the respective person (<Example>), guilds were incited against a single person and lies about punishments were spreaded to make it look like power abuse. Even for their in-game staff rewards they get hated, insulted and even reported. All against normal players who have invested a lot of time in this game and have taken on tasks that were anything but fun. This is no criticism against the players who criticize staffs, I just think it would be nice if you could look at both sides of the coin. Furthermore, eNvy, your question confuses me. You ask Prehax why he is a staff even though he no longer actively plays the game, even though it was you who kept writing, tagging and questioning me about the game after you stopped playing the game. I think it's obvious to everyone that he is attached to the game and the community, wants to improve it, and likes to do staff work. That's probably the motivation of most staffs. That's at least what I'd like to think. As a final comment, I would like to inform everyone that Prehax has not yet addressed the points, because Keita asked or ordered him not to give an answer yet. He doesn't ignore or makes fun of the posts/topic.1 point

A staff member called several players stupid and idiots, as described in several posts here... And after that, he spent a whole night on Discord making fun of the people who are posting here. Is this type of posture allowed? @Shinohara1 point

Talking about staff and player relation ship, how can we build a good relationship between us if we cant trust you (staff team) even on a service that we paid. For exemple: i paid 5 ccs to rename my account, the service should take around 48 hours ( as stated on the dashboard) but I'm waiting since the 19th June. I can easily understand that there is more priorities than this but I think is not to long to accepte or deny a rename, is not like its a free service, I paid 5 CCs for this. At the moment I don't have any information about my request I don't know if you forget me, if someone is handling this or is just dodging it. It's like the game itself, sometimes you give us anouncements on discord with a release date but this one delayed and there is no information about it. it already happened that the anouncement was edited like if nothing happened. We can all understand unexpected things can happen but it's better to let us aware of this instead of letting us in the blurr. Another exemple : about komala a new pokemon for valentine's event, the day when the event started, Walross literally said : -> announcement: 14/02/2021 Another thing, since the 14/02 you told us that the ability will be coded in the next few days, during the two Questions and Answers streams, Someone said (probably Walross) "don't worry next update it will be coded" but few updates after it still not coded and we don't have any information about it. It's not the first time it happened, Komala was announced for Valentine event, we are close to the summer one. Another exemple, Wishiwashi announced at xmas (corsi trailer), we are still waiting. I can understand Komala is not a priority and even if his ability is coded it's not a really good poke since we can't have only 2 moves except if you are named mew (check spoiler below ) and even with this set it's not a top tier poke, it's a funny poke I will said. I can understand it's an exception since you removed all illegal moves from mew last update, can't we get a npc which will allow us to remove moves for Komala? You can understand the frustration that we have since the comunication between the staff team and players is sometimes is really bad. I hope you will understand my point on this and hope i will get a positive feedback from your side. Wish you a good day, Havvlucha (maybe one day Batlucha).1 point

Heyho, I'd like to pick up on a couple of points that will most likely need a more detailed answer and will receive that from Keita later on. I think it's a shame what is made of such an opportunity. Many players have expressed that they feel misunderstood and ignored in the past. Because of that, Keita has created the opportunity to publicly address one's own opinions, ideas and problems. Instead of taking advantage of this opportunity that many have asked for, it is used to insult and corner others. Prehax and many other staffs - I count myself among them - have made mistakes in the past. But to see that players that have been handled with soft gloves complain about staff abuse is quite disappointing. There were players with more than ten infractions handled by several staffs that called him out for staff abuse while they should have been banned way earlier according to our punishment policy, along with a candidate that used third-party software and got a second chance because of his long playtime. Of course you are free to complain about Prehax and other staffs, but then please do it properly. Name points, express constructive criticism and make suggestions for improvements. A fundamentally aggressive attitude will not get us any further. This counts to both staffs and players. Furthermore, I would like to shed some light on the "ignored" suggestions. We read all of the suggestions posted in the forum. It's just insanely time consuming to answer every thread. Once we plan to implement a suggestion we will add it to the dev to-do list. There are weeks when I work on PRO for over 12 hours a day. The players often do not notice a lot of this, as it is often about changes that are not visible to the end user but are necessary. PRO was at a point for a very long time where you could no longer work with the code. This applies to both client and server code. That was because the top priority was to do something that the players can see without considering the further negative effects it would have. You should all keep in mind how much happened over the past two years. Don't just hold onto the negative. There will be more progress that we can all look forward to.1 point

just fun fact: some ppl replying in this thread (as players), kinda ''protecting'' staffers, are/were staffers before1 point

@Qeight i have a question to you. You dont play PRO, i mean u can log into ur acc sometimes, but never to actually play the game itself. You know, more than half of the community dont like you, and also u dont like the community back (or a big part of it), so my question is: Why, why u still around? whats the reason for it? just curious tbh.1 point

I noticed some staff are very quick to ban, sometimes with no warning, but take ages to handle appeals. Why? I would like to suggest that, if you are gonna ban someone, why not make sure to be around to handle the appeal in the same day? Or at least before the temporary ban ends, preferable within a week after banning. PRO have lots of mods, it doesn't seem to be an impossible request. Another question: Why can't I request another mod to handle my appeals if I don't trust the one doing so? I noticed poor behaviour from one of the staff and wish not to have this staff handling my appeal. And I requested that, he closed the appeal. Lemme know if you want me to name them. Also, why are staff allowed to call players "idiot" or taunt them? I saw Teerav quoting something said by a staff, and he was taunted and called stupid for that. They also avoided talking about the relevant subject Teerav quoted. Other staff ganked in to defend the staff. Pretty immature behaviour. Was something done about it? Or is it just allowed? Lemme know if you want screenshots. If the majority of the players do not appreciate how a staff is treating us or handling situations, will something be done about it? Or are we going to be ignored? Will this thread be another one of those to let players express themselves but nothing will be done about it? Please, lemme know before keep investing time in this game. Thank you for your time.1 point

As a player, I am not much of a hunter nor has the "change" really affected me. Given your experience, I am sure you are very competent at your job and I have no intention of doubting your decision or vision. My issue, however, is with the philosophy your rhetoric here manifests. Although I am sure you feel justified to dismiss any complaints by the userbase at this point because historically the relationship between staff and the playerbase has not always been great, this antagonism is still something that can be learned from. It goes both ways. I have always felt the playerbase could be a bit more forgiving and less greedy, a lot of the feedback you receive is unproductive, that is true. At the same time, however, the hierarchical power relationship between staff and playerbase in this community is absurd for a fangame. There is little to no transparency or discussion. Feedback gets routinely ignored. The fact that players keep complaining about the staff should not be seen as inherently unjust and invalid because "dumb players just don't get what goes into making this game," but as a symptom of an issue in mentality at the core of your team. Most people are fine with ignoring this toxic attitude because they ultimately enjoy the product you have created (or they are too invested to quit), but when you start using language like the above quote the ugliness of the reality is exposed. I hope you take this as criticism and not as a personal attack because that it is what the following is: a critique of the ways in which you have chosen to communicate, what that says about your view of the playerbase, and the precedent this sets. I do not care for attacking you personally, this is not about you as an individual, but about your role as a staff member and how adequately or inadequately you perform your assigned role. I cannot help but feel a strong sense of contempt for your playerbase shine through in the above quote. You sound exhausted with people critiquing you, despite community feedback being the life and blood of games like this. Yes, you are by far the most qualified to talk about spawns given your experience, but this does not mean that every decision you make is automatically right. A new perspective on an issue should always be welcomed, not outright rejected based on a lack of perceived expertise. What is even more striking, is the fact that you legitimise your decision by threatening to revert back to worse spawns than before. I understand you say this to highlight the fact that hey you worked hard to improve spawns, so you DO care about the quality of life of your players, but this is just a terrible way of conveying that. It reads as if you are telling people to shut up or you will make it even worse than it currently is. Imagine calling your internet provider to complain about your net dying and the customer service agent telling you: "Well, it used to die a lot more, so you should consider yourself lucky. If you keep calling this number, I can make it so that it dies every few minutes if you'd like." This is poor communication and it further cements the gap between staff and an already alienated playerbase. To add insult to injury, you condemn people for calling you a dictator and in the same breath you threaten to silence them if they speak out against you. Surely you must see the hypocrisy in that statement. That is all I wanted to say. It is something that has been bothering me for a while, but I never managed to put my finger on it. I hope you treat this like the valid criticism it is, reacting to my feedback as opposed to deleting it outright would already be a big step in the right direction. I would like to end by saying this game has been good to me, I have enjoyed playing it a lot. The last few months have been rough, admittedly, but you find yourself at a juncture where it is essential to appreciate the people that stuck with you and maybe use this as an opportunity to start with a clean sheet, fostering a new culture of open dialogue and transparency. Hopefully, the playerbase will reward you for putting in this effort by offering valid feedback and being more patient and forgiving. As I said before, it goes both ways.0 points
