Searching based on ability would be nice. For example I sometimes don't remember what Pokemon I have that has Synchronize, besides Ralts and Abra.

denied world quest non legendary pokemon should hold nature or iv reroll
Starlight replied to Luohan's topic in Suggestions
^ That I don't mind too, but knowing the staffs they probably will prefer that we still have to spend balls to catch the pseudo legend to get the reroll ticket/ability capsule it holds XD -
add an icone ingame when an outbreak starts or any event begins
Starlight replied to Algerie31's topic in Suggestions
+1, as Bhimoso said people could be logging in after the announcement, so they are unaware about it, plus it's kinda.....dumb, for the lack of better word, to have to check discord first every single time we want to play just to see if there's an outbreak. -
+1 180k IV is way too high. Can we go back to 90k IV minimum and 101k IV maximum please? This can also apply even if the WQ is completed and the player is expecting a legend this time - I'm very sure no one likes it when they took time and effort (and even pokedollar, in case of repel trick spawns), only to receive a bad pseudo in return again and again, instead of a legend. It's practically nothing, no reward, since you can't even sell an already fully evolved but not max level bad pseudo. Nobody would bother with it, so it would just get released. And it can potentially deter the players from doing WQ again. IMO, a bad pseudo isn't even worth it to be called as "consolation prize", considering the effort it took to get the island ticket. If the pseudo is guaranteed to hold something valuable like a reroll ticket, it would have been a lot better, and suits the effort it took to complete the WQ. I also agree with Bhimoso, the pool of WQ target really needs to be looked at and modified. Remember how staffs need to force a Golett outbreak on silver just so the WQ can be completed, due to how bad the spawn was? No all time spawn, no repel trick, and the non-MS spawn is in a place with lots of low tiers. Also, some Pokemon have their best spawn be MS only. If Walross is online when the WQ is up, then nice, he can disable the MS requirement for the WQ duration. But what if he's not online? Only MS players would bother doing the WQ, reducing the amount of player doing the WQ. This was the case with Foongus WQ. Doesn't help that Foongus' best spawn was in a map that has many low tiers, so even with repel trick, it still feels like hunting a T9 instead of T7. Foongus' only other spawn, which is non-MS, is T8 in Safari Zone. Obviously, no non-MS player bother with it. IIRC, it took more than 12 hours for Foongus WQ to complete. And that's Foongus, a Pokemon whose evolution was meta. What if it's not a meta Pokemon, like Heatmor? Even less would bother with the WQ. Sure, the spawn for Golett and Foongus might be appropriate. But they're not appropriate as WQ target at all.

The recent Aron WQ makes me think this suggestion probably needs more people to look into it. The fact that the best way to hunt Aron uses repel, means the result better be worth all those repel. Especially since it's tier 8, meaning it gonna take tons of repel. I feel sorry for those who spent lots yet didn't get a legend from the Aron WQ. -
+1, adding more items that can be recycled shouldn't be a bad thing.

IIRC, Prehax (the PRO staff dealing with spawns) already made it so that most wild spawns in the game, do not carry suicide/recoil moves. That's the reason for some Pokemon in certain places having odd level compared to other spawn in the same place - it's because if the level is higher/lower, it will carry a suicide/recoil move. Unfortunately it's not possible for move like Teleport, since wild Abra only learns Teleport, and Ralts spawn being low level is needed for the area it is in. I think there are also a few cases like Ralts, but with other moves. So I agree with others, always prepare a Master Ball just in case. And when in doubt, always consult the Pokedex for the range of moves of the wild Pokemon within the level you encountered, just in case. -

+1 for removing the guard after we are done with the quest, at least. Make it a warp door like in Kanto/Johto. -
Yeah, there have been many request for PC Storage box massive overhaul in the Suggestion board. Let's wait and see when they will find a way (and time) to do it~

Agree with this. It makes more sense. If an item with many other advantages, gives 50% exp boost, then an item that solely give exp boost should have bigger bonus to balance it. Maybe exp boost item should go up to 60% or 70% boost at the very least. That way, you choose to either get MS with all its other advantages but only 50% exp boost, or get EXP boost that gives higher exp boost but none of the other advantages. More balanced that way. As it is right now, if I have to pick only one of them, there's just no reason to pick EXP boost when I can pick MS.

1. I think this probably should be in Suggestions instead of General Game Talk. 2. Mega Evolution will make the game more fun, yes. But your suggestion will not. 8-10 coin capsules is ridiculously P2W. It should be something that everyone can attain. Not everyone has spare 4 million pokedollar to buy that many CC.
-
-1. If anything they already treat PVP players and PVE players equally. Both kinds of players can catch and evolve Pokemon and increase their playtime, but with PVP requirement, only PVP players can do it and get the reward, while PVE players cannot. Also as others said, the dex data grind isn't even that ridiculous. Takes probably 2 days at most. Just spare like, 1-2 days for once, out of your 30+ days of PVP. You can even do it inbetween PVP sessions.

Ah, well, in that case......your idea is something that I at least can agree more, than the OT idea.
-
Actually, Pokemon game (Red/Blue) came first before the anime. By roughly one year. I do agree taking a few stuff from the anime is not a bad thing, but the anime actually shows that bond can be created even if you're not the OT, so it actually goes against the intention of this thread :p

IMO quest should be fine, as long as the staffs can get the length and difficulty just right. Probably not as easy as Kami/Genie Trio quest, but definitely don't make it as difficult and grindy as fully completing the Bird Trio quest. Bird Trio quest being that difficult considering the reward (the weakest Trio in the game), is dumb, but that's another topic. Just.......never make a quest like that again, please. Though, if the staffs do go with quest, it's likely there will be multiple quests with varying length and difficulty, as not all Megas are equal. It would be dumb if Audinite is as hard to obtain as Lucarionite, for example. Vice versa too, it would be dumb if Metagrossite is as easy to obtain as Abomasite.

You know a suggestion to make things harder is probably a bad idea, when even NamelessHero27 is against it XD Correction - Mega Evolution, in terms of mechanic, have NEVER work that way even in official games. You can use Mega Evolution with non-OT Pokemon in official games :) I think the "bond" that Game Freak is talking about as the lore of Mega Evolution is simply about being with the Pokemon often, making the Pokemon happy to be with you. Does not need OT to do that, right? ;) Also, mechanic-wise, you can even immediately Mega Evolve a Pokemon that you just got from trade in official games. And some of the lore for Mega Evolution in Gen 7 actually goes to the opposite direction and remove the whole "bond" thing, implying it to be more of a "gaining power at a price" kind of thing. Although that's natural in a way, since GF wants people to use Z-Move instead.

Exactly, I too think they should have prioritized PC storage update first before putting more new regions in (and therefore more catchable Pokemon, both old and new).
-
It's been years and we haven't heard anything about it. That's why people keep suggesting it again and again, because it feels like nothing has been done about it, yet the staffs somehow can keep pushing other updates instead, which heavily implies they are not working on it, because they don't treat it as a priority. However, on the other hand, I agree that the PC box doesn't look like something that can be easily updated. The current PC storage is so terrible, the amount of rework needed on it would be so massive it would be a completely different feature than before. Still, it would be nice to know more about all their attempts so far to update it, if any. If not folders, I'd like to see at least a sorting system that affect the whole PC, instead of just the current page. I want to be able to easily sort everything on the PC based on dex number or name. That way it would be easier to see all the Pokemon that I have multiples of, which in turn makes it easier to clear the PC box.

I'd be fine with this only if they are also still obtainable from WQ as long as we haven't caught them yet. Basically have more options to get them, instead of outright moving them from one way to another. Not everyone prefer battling bosses over WQ.

I don't PVP, and I'm still in a guild that's long dead way before guild island is a thing. But even I can see and agree with others about this. The idea is fine, exclusive reward to make guilds compete for the top 3. But as someone else said, having to compete in PVP for what is essentially a PVE reward makes no sense. Those who already be the top few of PVP usually means they already have their team, they don't need to hunt the team members that the island provides. And some of them are even rich enough to just buy what they want to play. That's why, as another player said, the island is very empty, not much people hunt there. Any PVE content should have been available for those who actually need it. I heard the dig spot on the guild island is also better than the ones outside the island. As someone who rely on dig spots to make money, I wonder, is that even a good idea? Isn't that essentially giving more valuable stuff to the players who are already fine without them?
-
One thread on this subforum also has a good idea: make it so that the non-legend on the island hold a valuable item, like IV Reroll Ticket for example. That way people who already caught all the legends still has a reason to go there, and it's probably better for the economy too (since you still have to spend balls to catch the Pokemon) if staffs are really worried about it. (Although, WQ happens too randomly for the IV Reroll Ticket to greatly affect the economy, anyway) It wasn't "really easy" at all. 1. You probably forgot or unaware you need to already finish the quest for the legend, since the intention of WQ is to get the one you didn't choose in the quest. This is especially daunting for the Lati twin, considering the requirement for their quest. 2. Not every WQ is easy. Your first WQ just happen to be easy (and you just happen to get a legend out of it). There were terrible WQ too before. Like no repel trick combined with high tier spawn, or the sole best spawn for the WQ target happens to be MS exclusive, meaning those without MS has to skip the WQ, which also result in less people doing the WQ. Also, making it incredibly hard to get a legend out of WQ would kinda defeat the entire point. The decent chance to get the legend you didn't choose, is the sole reason people even do WQ. We really don't need WQ not getting completed because people lacked interest in it.

Considering the WQ yesterday gave me a trash Tyranitar.......yeah, I'll help bumping this thread for more awareness. -
+1 I'd be happy to have this even without a special frame, to be honest.
