What about give a fixed and no limited way for guilds to reach guild island. Like each month, guilds with at least 5000pts in guildladder can acces guildisland. So everyone can do it without been block by others. Futhermore, more accesible island = more guild who will try to do it and so more people in pvp. Better than have 3 guild who will trust fitrst place by erasing others ( notably fusion problem) , what is sicky for future.19 points

Okay, so this reply is gonna be a bit heavy to take in. But it focuses on some of the most important things we should begin to think about. Sorry in advance if you feel like I've hit a nerve or two. But if you cannot take a minor offense, then you should stop reading right now. To first clear up in one thing: Paying to get access to the exclusive island would not make things any easier btw. It would only escalate the issue even further. As smaller guilds on the ladder would still lose players, even if it's limited to top 10 on the ladder, regardless of the small player base as mentioned above. I honestly think that the guild exclusive island is kind of a facepalm situation. A bad idea that escaped and caused mayhem. Like, where is an exclusive island for those who focus on fighting bosses and doing other PvE events? Why is PvP the only thing that matters? [spoiler=In my opinion]Its the worst thing I've seen being added to PRO by far. Tutor Heaven was a good addition as it didn't give anyone any more advantages. Besides TM tutors. But a guild island with a PvE boss that changes and wild spawns on top of all that? And a very detailed map design? That's not how it should work at all. Pokemon has never just been about PvP to begin with. In the early days of Pokemon, the only thing you did was PvE. Only the newer Gens introduced PvP and made it popular. But that doesn't mean you can entirely disband the concept of Guilds focusing more on PvE instead, whereas you can only focus on PvP to be rewarded. That's not how it should work at all. The entire guild system is kind of a facepalm situation if you look at it from a non-guild member's perspective. As stated above on the OP, it has caused a lot of issues, compared to solving any, if any at all? People leaving guilds to get into a stronger guild? Possibly stronger guilds kicking players to get more powerful PvP players to secure top 3? It has / will cause future guilds to disband / possibly scramble for powerful PvP players, and is that the development PRO really needs? Where is the fun in being in a guild then, if you cannot get rewarded for your hard work? Unless you PvP your entire guild to top 3? Do guilds really have to host giveaways, lend pokes or give out in-game items to survive from their own pockets? While people in PvP Guilds don't really need to do all that, because PRO essentially rewards that guild exclusively? But what should a guild be like then? I know my post is probably gonna be looked down at with evil murderous eyes from those top 3 guild players. Because they believe they've deserved it. But be real. Do you really think so? Well, I'll let you dwell on this while reading my point below. And then you can ask yourself again, if you really deserve the reward, compared to the counterpart guilds. Well while you're dwelling on the question above, let me tell you one thing. The amount of time you've grinded for a high PvP rank, a few 1000+ players in guilds have used the same amount of time on helping guild members fight PvE / Bosses. And yet you should be rewarded with something exclusive for your guild? And not the guild who help players out with PvE? I just can't see how that is any fair at all for the counterpart guilds, who don't focus on PvP. Or guilds that don't own the top PvP players on the ladder and can't at all even the odds. Now, ask yourself, do you still deserve the reward? If yes, you don't see the bigger picture. TL:DR: Just read it anyways7 points

I completely understand the purpose of creating a guild island : it's indeed a good way to encourage people to play PvP more often, and since PvP is (or at least looks like) the ultimate purpose of the game, it encourages everything else, including spending money on capsule coins in order to be able to buy good pokémons. I have nothing against that all, on the contrary, I think this is a very good idea. However, the fact that only the 3 strongest guilds in the game can access the island has a drawback that can already be seen : people who are strong at PvP or who at least have a good Elo are changing guilds to secure their top 3 spot. What does it mean exactly ? Basically, we'll soon have 3 guilds with the best players on each server (and, most likely, the guilds will be the same in both servers) and the other guilds will have no chance to compete at all, and I really don't think it's a good thing. Basically, a few hours ago, in my guild (French Connexion), half of the players left to merge with another guild in order to make sure they would have the guild island. Is that what you wanted by making the guild island ? Well, if it was the case, then you did well. If it wasn't what you wanted to happen, there's a simple way to make things more balanced, and that's what I'll be suggesting : Each month, in the previous month guildladder 1st guild would have access to the guild island for free 2nd guild would have to pay 1 million for the whole guild to access the island 3rd guild would have to pay 2 million And so on. Number 10 guild would pay 9 million and the guilds that are not in the guild ladder would have to pay 10 million. It does make it more interesting to reach the top of the guildladder, however it doesn't prevent anybody to get it. The prices I mentioned are not as important as the idea of letting everyone go to it because, as you have already understood, people don't love their guild as much as they would love having access to the guild island. I hope i made everything clear and, of course, if you agree or if you don't, I would be glad to hear any argument.4 points

I agree that the requirements might need a little adjustment. I'm not a big fan of bringing money in the equation; even if it was 10 million per month that's an easy amount to obtain by every guild with more than 10 members. Boss runs only by themselves can net around 3 million per player for a month, just in money prizes. If the guild was brought up for pvpers, then money alone shouldn't be brought in as a requirement. In my opinion, the rating idea seems like overall the most balanced suggestion here so far & the one that could and should be discussed. It nerfs the total exclusivity of the island while still keeping the focus on PVP from guilds, which seems to be the objective of guild island here. Having a second map, more accessible area(s) or features for the top 3 sounds like a good idea too. I think that the "casual player' would be generally happy to still gain access to guild island even though they wouldn't have more maps than the top 3 guilds. It's more understandable than having the feature completely locked for you unless you join a PVP guild. In the end, they would still gain something interesting that would value their time spent in PVP and it doesn't give too much unfair advantage to the top 3 guilds either. As pointed out already, I think that small guilds or those who are most focused on the PvE side should still get a shot at unlocking this feature. Right now it's really de-motivating for guilds like these to even get in the PVP scene for the island since the top 3 are already full of experienced players. +1 for the overall idea and concept.3 points

Hello guys ! I Would like to share my opinion with you, i agree on the fact that Guild which are 20/30/50 members can't reach the top3 Guildladder, also yes, a lot of players will(or already) leave(left) their guild for a top 3 Guild. I saw on big guilds a lot of players just don't care about the PvE part on the island, That's sad because that's one of the main point on the island. Suggestion to avoid that : First : Make Guild island available for the top 6 Guild but the entrance will be free only for the top 3 (May 25k for members of top4/5/6 guilds). Second : Make a FIX RATING to enter on the island, as Omeliandre said, may 5K rating should be nice. Yes big Guild will always have access to it, but smaller with 20/50 players can try to get access to it. Third : TOP 10 Guild can have access to it but, the top 3 Guild will have a second map. I mean, top 10 will have Trick room map and Top will have Sun + Trick room. Free feel to reply, have a nice day !3 points

I just heavily dislike the fact that only top 3 guilds can enter (this is coming from the previous owner of the top 2 guild in gold for a lot of consecutive months). I think it should either be a rating barrier (1000,2000, a bit more even) which can be filled up by a lot of newbie people playing pvp and trying it out (which could encourage pvp more), increase pvp points gained per win (just slightly), or make it a monthly payment (a few millions, it's mega easy for 5 organised people to make absurd amounts a month if they grind just a bit, let alone 100 people). Afterwards, increase the rewards and the perks the island gives to the top 3 guilds by a lot to incentivise them pushing their rating to the top. Tldr: give access to all guilds with either A: minimum rating reached (2000, 3000, whatever you wish), monthly payment (I'm not fully okay with this one, money is way too easy to farm in PRO, but it would allow newbies in the guild to help out), give better rewards to top 3 guilds to compensate, make temporary events where you gain more pvp coins for winning in pvp (could inflate the economy a bit but would make the pvp have more people in it). EDIT: fixing spelling mistakes lol3 points

I think it would be alot better if when you used skill swap it tells you which ability you are swapping around because the only way to find out which ability you gained is by linking your mon in chat and thats kinda irritating to have to do every single battle2 points

Some top guilds like mine have very active and nice community we may focus more on pvp but we are having nice time speaking in guild chat or in discord about a lot of things and not only for pvp i agree that pve guild should have a chance to get in the guild island maybe staff can make a ladder so the top 3 pvp guilds and top 3 pve guilds should have access to the island and ofc the guild island must remain something exclusive and not accessible for all guilds even for a high amount of money if the staff want to make guild island accessible for everyone then make a guild island for every guild for 20m per guild as the were thinking to do in the beginning2 points

If the suggestion goes through, why not pay with pve coins instead of pokedollars? Make it a goal for guilds to reach. Perhaps the top 3 guilds with the most pve coins contributed by the end of the season will have access to the island. It would be fun to see guilds competing to see who can contribute more pve coins rather than pvp rating. This way, the guild island still keeps their exclusivity, while being able to give pve or non-pvp focused guilds a chance.2 points

The Professor will first tell the player a small story about Cresselia and Darkrai, he will then ask the player to visit Fullmoon Island which he tell's us can be accessed by speaking to Sailor Darlow at Canalave City. Upon arriving to Canalave, the player will notice that Sailor Darlow has been surrounded by Rocket Grunts. [spoiler=Sailor Darlow] We must now interact with one of the Rocket Grunts and battle both of them first we will fight Rocket Grunt 1 and then Rocket Grunt 2. [spoiler=Rocket Grunt 1 Lineup:] [spoiler=Rocket Grunt 2 Lineup:] After defeating the 2 grunts, they will disappear we must now speak to Sailor Darlow once again. He will ask the player for one more favour, asking us to help his Daughter who has been stuck in a Nightmare. Hope this could help, have a great day everyone and please take care. Hello everyone, I have a suggestion for you, I hope you like it : It consists of setting up a vermillion a NPC. This NPC can give each player a daily quest, this quest is very simple : You just have to win a fight in ranked pvp. For the awards I thought of 3 pvp coins and another award to be defined by the staff, it should not be too big, but quite interesting so that this quest can energize the pvp. The main advantage of this quest will be to energize and make pvp on pro more attractive, I don't see too much inconvenience to this quest for me it will be just a plus that will make the game even more fun. Thanks for reading and good game everyone :)1 point

With most of the world stuck at home in the middle of a global crisis, doing something as simple as a free safari weekend event I think was an awesome thing (even though my luck has failed me terribly through the entire hunt lol). So I think I speak on behalf of the vast majority of the community when I say we appreciate your work. You're given a lot of flack sometimes simply because we're gamers and that's what we do lol but keepin it real, you guys have created and maintained the best pokemon game I've ever played. I dont play any video game nearly as much as I play PRO, and the actual franchise has become a sad joke so you have effectively quenched a ravenous pokemon thirst. Keep pokemon great, that's all I have to say. Thank you!1 point

I completely agree. It’s sad to see how this Guild Island have caused guilds to lose their members who decided to join the potential top 3 guilds just to be able to have access into Guild Island. (I’m aware starting this season the top 3 guilds all players must maintain at least 10 rating to have access.) I really like the idea on making this more accessible like what some other players have already suggested here, maybe every guild who gets like 4-5k overall guild rating points can have access into guild island. (i strongly believe this could encourage more guilds that aren’t stack with PRO PvP players to have a fighting chance to get into Guild Island.) However, I feel like this might just discourage smaller guilds to not bother motivating their players to PvP if Guild Island is only accessible for the top 3 Guilds. Like, what’s the point when most, if not all the top guilds are already stacked with pro/high experience PvP players with 200-300+ ratings? My point is, small guilds will never have a shot at guild island unless those players try to join the potential top guilds that might be able to make it within the top 3.1 point

This is a great idea, many games have a daily bonus for your first pvp win, and ya know what.. I'd even go a step further. Add niche challenges/bounties, such as "KO 10 pokemon with a grass type in ranked pvp" or things like that (I'm sure others could come up with even better ideas for this) Maybe some ideas like that that may even get people to use pokes they wouldnt normally use in pvp. I think it'd be a nice shake up to make things slightly more fun, perhaps even slightly less sweaty, and could force some semblance of creativity.1 point

I would increase the entrance fee to be far above 25k. Even possibly over 150k for each member. As stated in this reply, money is way too easy to farm on PRO. And you can get large quantities of money in a short time, let alone if an entire guild farms for money. This is also another approach for it, but then again, a large portion of players will still be left out. Especially Guilds who don't really PvP too often. Which only increases the thought that being in a guild is only "PVP based" and not "PvE and PvP based". That is not what a guild is supposed to be like. As I mentioned in this reply. Sure a second or third map would be an okay addition if the main problem with it being only exclusive to PvP guilds wasn't there. If It was open for everyone who is part of a Guild but had areas with additional content, which were only open to the top 10 or 15 PvP'ers on the ladder. Then maybe additional maps were a good addition, but at this point, it surely won't really benefit anyone at all. This is just constructive criticism, not trying to prove you right or wrong, just stating my humble opinions on the suggestions you put forth.1 point

I wasn't referring to "every" specialized PvEr being narrow minded, then most (which can be seen in my post). I'm possibly even wrong with this one, as that's probably not even the case. Usually the minority is always the loudest on the internet (in this case, referring to the kind of people I had described) so I got a bit carried away. My apologies. Anyway I didn't speficially call you out for whinning, then the PvErs (hence why I mentioned them in the bracket). I'm not exclusively a PvPer either, as I also do PvE related stuff (mainly bosses). PvP is my main point of interest tho, so at times it becomes really frustrating to see how it despite being neglected, still gets trashed on by those who have nothing to do with it whatsover (not talking about you in this particular case). From reading your reply, I see you are a reasonable, polite guy that is definitely up for constructive criticism. We definitely need more of such people in this community. Am glad we're also on the same page about priorities and PvP related stuff. As such, I got nothing else to say. Cheers1 point

Personally, I really like the main point of this, which is making guild island more accessible. But some may not even pay and get access, while others will have to do the paying part. So this is kinda unfair here. But the concept itself is nice. This idea sounds better. This will encourage many members to PvP. Like another thing could be added that members entering the island need at least 50 ratings or something.1 point

I'm sorry to tell you that I'm neither a "PvE'er" or a "PvP'er", so you can't really categorize me in any of them. It should be a bigger eye-opener when someone from outside the main two groups of PRO, who also isn't part of any Guild*, is addressing the issues they spot. *Not part of any public guild. I guess my own small guild isn't really something to count in here so. If I was part of any of the two main groups, my standpoint would be one-sided and narrow-minded. But since I am neutral to both sides, but still are referring to the problems at hand, I guess you can't say I'm "narrow-minded", as what you refer every "PvEer" to be like. The main problem is the Guild System as addressed in this reply. Whether the PvP player base is waiting years for an update or not, is another case that should be brought up. I refer to the Guild system's progression, where nothing is actually happening with it. Then suddenly the guild system gets an update, but only PvP'ers can enjoy it. Okay, time to break down your reply. Okay, so as I've stated above, that's an entirely different case to be bought up. And I support the thought that more PvP content should be released, I've got nothing to say against the little development that has happened with the PvP front. But as I can see, more Legendaries/Mythical Pokemon seems to make its way to PvP to balance out the Meta, so it kind of gets small updates on a regular basis too. So it's not entirely excluded from getting minor updates every now and then, but the difference is huge between PvP and PvE updates, that's true. I can't really recall ever whining about anything, I just addressed the issue, as an outsider, who actually has a bigger view of the entire situation. The content team is not exactly adding things in the right order, IMO. Before any Guild Exclusive Island should be released, a much better Guild System should have been in place. And a lot more should have gone into the thoughts of creating a PvP Exclusive Guild Island because that's essentially what it is and should have been called. As I've also stated in this reply, I rather want content everyone can enjoy, then just a small portion of the player base. As for PvE related content, the PvPers can still take part in this without having any particular skills, unlike the other way around.1 point

Something similar would probably be the best sollution, but generally I don't mind. In my opinion, with the things the guild island provides, it wasn't made any "broken' and therefore it doesn't provide any leverage over other guilds who don't have the access to it. If someone's being narrow minded and not seeing the bigger picture, it's mainly the PvErs. You people get PvE related events on a regular, weekly basis, while the PvPers literally have to wait for months in order to just satisfy themselves with a minor PvP update. Yet this doesn't prevent you (many PvErs) to continue on whinning whenever PvPers get something good/exclusive, although it's completely obvious who in reality is actually being neglected1 point

Don't get me wrong, I'm not exactly saying that the PvP Guilds don't have a good time together in their guild, or that all of them are bad and hungry wolfs. I'm just merely pointing out the fact that the Guild Exclusive Island was a bad addition to the game, and that it caused more issues than solving any. Having set criteria for it makes it exclusive. But at the same time, it's unfair for a large portion of the player base. I would rather get content that everyone can enjoy, rather than a few PvP top ladder players. As for paying an entrance fee, sure, it can work to some extent. But then again, the whole Guild system is outdated, so what good will that do? It took a long time for something to appear in the "Manage" tab on the guild section in-game, and all it got was "Leave Guild". The entire logo creation system is outdated, the rewards for hitting certain milestones are too high, you can't promote/demote someone offline. You can't even invite someone who is offline. The entire Guild System should receive a major overhaul before things like a Guild Island is added. It doesn't benefit anyone besides a small portion of the PvP player base and it only further the case that things are being done in the wrong order. And I guess the content team needs to take a step back and re-think what they've done. And someone needs to point them in the right direction.1 point

I just suggested to add an entrance fee to guilds, but maybe the fee should be adapted to the number of players there are in the guild, say 10k per person and so on. It doesn't really matter how much it costs, my main point is to make the guild island accessible to everyone, even to non-pvp players like me. And, tbh, I find PvP so boring that I'd rather pay 1 million than score 100 points. I don't think the fee should be personal though, because it still is a *guild* island, so it wouldn't make any sense if one player had access to it but not his teammates. I appreciate your answers, thank you for taking time to state your opinion.1 point

I think you do bring up good points that I also already predicted would happen before this island released and I think it does not truly benefit the health of the game the way it is now that much I agree with. Although I am also not going to say that giving all top 10 guilds access should be a thing either because honestly the player base of the game is too small that it essentially means the entire player base would have access regardless of if lower guilds had to pay an entrance fee or not. If you cannot beat them though just join them I think is the best advice to give you during these times, my guild trinity is the adaptation of three guilds realizing what they needed to do and were good friends with one another.1 point

Very nice idea, I permit myself to bump it. But ngl, we already saw by the past the interest that staff showed forward pvp, so i'm not waiting anything from them. It could be a very good feature.1 point

I suggest a question to doctor house if you want to get the potion since he just takes your 50k and it may be problematic for some players1 point
