Hi, I purpose a next WQ rattata with 7-8m ivs. The 2 last WQ enable me to obtain a godly bidoof PvPable, so i would like the same thing for rattata. I think it s a good idea. Hope you understand me. A WQ : happy rattata day. Best regards,4 points

Locked as denied. On a personal note, the way people are acting about the recent WQs is laughable, how about let us try something new that might not work out. We learn out of it but getting your pitchforks ready with your mob of always angry players will get you nowhere. Not every WQ should be with high tier Pokémon, they should be with low tier and mid tier Pokémon as well but for that we actually need data. You guys are achieving absolutely nothing with it. We look at all suggestions and they constantly get posted in staff chats but ultimately it's often times not up to us but Eaty.3 points

I totally agree with the first part, and I 100% agree with Ehkoe as a positive example. Such simple things can help to improve the relationship a lot!2 points

well, i have been watching this post for a few days now, and i felt the need to say how i feel about you guys, because maybe i didnt get another chance, until a few months ago i was disappointed in how the staff generally treated the players , for me it costs nothing to reply to a message or say have a great day when ending conversations, this can change the way you are seen, for me the best member of you for sure and ehkoe, always answered me with respect, and I felt it. now with other staff members i didn't feel the same thing, i was always ignored. another thing, i don't see improvement in events i miss something new in the pro, it is more and more stopped, and when we ask you about it, we are ignored, this has happened to me several times. if you want the relationship between the staff and players to improve, the staff must communicate more with the community, most of them love you, you are respected, don't forget that. Have a nice day!2 points

Thats what i meant in a way that the bidoof wq was a joke, a troll it was never possible cuz in first 3.5m sinnoh only not possible. Then u give a wq again of the same stupid useless poke sinnoh only 2.5m what u thought people will be hyped and hunt stupid same poke again in 2 days after they failed miserably. And the worst part it was shown like some short of compensation for the Char WQ troubles, what a great way. I feel like stupid for doing the quest both times and wasting my time.2 points

Hello, would it be possible to display the cooldown of the task master in celadon? Either with the extra cooldown checker or directly with the task master.1 point

How about posting small updates here on the forum or on discord about how the new maps/regions are going? It will be very good for anyone who wants to know the progress.1 point

I definitely agree that it needs a rework. I think something like world-quest for guilds, like guild-quest, would work way better. Like a guild needs to submit specific ivs, if they can submit then they are just fine and only a number of guilds can get rewards, in paper should work way better and make it more competitive. Also I am honestly disappointed to see that the contributors for these two bidoof wqs got nothing ( not sure if it is theoretically possible to find them and reward them or not). Like there was a person in gold that did %5 of the wq and got nothing. The no compensation attitude we are dealing with rn (as far as I know), just makes me and many people I know mad and sad at the same time. I just don't have any faith in the community after seeing the responses I get both in discord and in game. So don't waste our time trying to bring a server with "whole variety" of people, instead lets make this a quest intended for guilds, which ensures this will not be a personal quest.1 point

@Kindasus Please read the trade rules before you create an auction, you need to set a time for your auction to last. To avoid problems with your auction i will close this thread, you can create a new one once you have read the rules and make the template according to the rules. Have a nice day, Sincerely Hawluchaa1 point

giving in world quest should be possible from the pc imo going one step further, it doesnt matter so much on normal wq, but for the bidoof one its so damn stupid and I said it before, the games infrastructure is just not good enough for t1 world quest, which makes it so terrible. so yes, giving in 5 at once, or from pc, whatever happens, something should happen. +11 point

Here's a idea next time lets do "Bidoof" WQ 1.65M in sinnoh only(those who havent unlocked sucks to be u no copensation huh). I mean it was supposed to be a compensation for the troubles in Char WQ, but guess what its a troll, the devs r laughing at foolish us trying to do the same meaningless wq twice. Bidoof Troll 1st part - 3.5M Sinnoh only | Useless Poke | 3-4 hrs Hunt time Epic Failure Troll Part 2 - Well that went well lets have some more fun lets make them hunt Bidoof again just reduce it to 2.5M ez and yeah those in first 3 region sucks to be u again.1 point

Ehi there @Olker Thanks for asking and for the patience. As I am already on this page due to a previous answer, I will reply to you and then go back to the previous one so I do not miss anyone. Being really direct with you, we have staff members that cover those area related to specific languages. For example, I do speak Japanese, Korean, Mandarin&Cantonese, and Italian really good and therefore I am able to properly handle contexts related to those languages in an appropriate way. However, I am totally unable to handle french one for example, and that's why we have French staff like Zeskyr or Naha! At the same time, Senrosia speak spanish and therefore is perfectly able to handle a spanish chat and spanish context. Qeight speak german (same as many other staff like Eaty or Shaolan). Eon speak portuguese. Etc Etc Same goes for basically for almost every other language. We literally have roles inside the staff team that are assigned in base of the languages we speak in a great way. Using myself as example, here you can find how it works In this way, contacting/forwarding the content to the person that is in charge and is able to handle that language is really comfortable. We also have people native from USA and UK and NZ, and this helps a lot in understanding slangs used in those countries. Context always matter, as explained above, and therefore it's considered before issuing a punishment. Only real infractions are punished, and to be considered something an infraction you need to check the whole context first. As for insults, it really depends from the situation cause they are all different from each other. If a sitaution, even if in a jokingly way that in your country means nothing bad, is pushing too far, then a staff will simply intervene in chat to make you know it. Please, let me know if something is unclear or if you have any other questions.1 point

Now that we're talking about imsults, I have a question. How do you handle the punishments according to culture? For example, in spanish chat, it's more common to "insult" those who ARE your friends (I guess it's pretty common in latin culture), when you talk to them, but in a "I'm kidding" way (Of course, not all of the insults have this "friendly" intention), but those who do, are they punished anyways?1 point

I've noticed a couple recurring questions with no answer regarding ban processes. I'm sure Keita will also reply later, and to the other questions also, but as a GM who has left relatively recently, I'd like to shed some light on these ones. Hi @Ishan2020 There are typically 3 "kinds" of ban reason - Attempted, Successful and Investigation. Attempted and Successful ban reasons have enough supporting evidence for Moderation to make a call without any dependency on further investigation from the player. The Investigation ban reason is usually given for 1 of 2 reasons (or both in some cases): 1. To remove an immediate threat from the account/game. A TMOD example of this is if an account is suspected to have been hacked, it will be banned immediately for investigation and to create a line of contact with account owner (if they weren't already aware of the risk) to ensure they reset the password before continuing to play. This also protects the account from any more damage, if there was any, and the risk of irreversible damage. 2. Not all evidence/details can be found without speaking to the player directly. This means the investigation/evidence at the time of banning is not complete. In some cases, you will need to speak to the player directly to confirm aspects of the story. This is especially common in Rank Boosting and Scams, so I'll give examples of those. To give a couple examples in relation to Rank Boosting - if an account is shared and it is unclear if the infraction was made by the account owner or another player whilst using the account, or multiple players play from the same internet connection, etc. This may also happen in Boosting where a player chooses to accept a battle from a player on the same IP (not against the rules but recommended against because it will be investigated), a guildie, or seems to be boosting/boosted by a specific player - given the data Staff use to investigate, it is very hard to concretely determine the intent of these matchups, and often has to be clarified verbally with all involved players. An example of where this would happen in a Scam case, quite often players don't agree all aspects of the trade agreement upfront (this is why there was new trade rules added, and existing trade rules were given extra details). An extremely common example is when the duration of a lend hasn't been specified, from the reported evidence, it's clear that both players understand that it is a lend, but maybe the lendee has now had it for 2 weeks and the lender feels that is excessive and they want it back. The lendee will be banned for investigation, to determine whether they were just keeping the Pokemon for an extended amount of time, were too busy to return it, just plainly forgot etc, or if their intention was to steal and keep the Pokemon for good - this would not be possible without a line of communication to the player. --- Hi @8294ayush For your questions 1 and 2 - firstly, I apologise if you have ever felt that your appeal process has taken longer than necessary, especially if it was as excessive as 25 days. There are a lot of reasons for this, but there are 3 big ones that I will share with you. The first being that the ban issued was an Investigation ban - more detail on this is in my response to Ishan2020 above - but in short, if there is adequate evidence to suggest an immediate risk to an account or the game, the bulk of the investigation will take place after the ban, since in a high risk case the priority is to reduce the amount of damage and to prevent as much irreversible damage as possible. Depending on the case, the amount of time this takes varies - I have personally worked on Account Hack or RMT cases that have taken over a week (where a huge number of accounts were involved), meaning that all of my other work backs up too in the meantime. Which leads me onto the second reason: that there is something higher priority going on, again, this happens in cases where there is an immediate risk or threat to an account or the game. Staff workloads aren't publicly available for the community to see, but to put it clearly, if I am made aware that there is a mass account hack happening, I will drop everything I am working on to remove any immediate risks, then I will pick up my normal workload again after. Quite simply, sometimes there is just something more important and demands the time and attention, and I wish there was enough time or number of hands to prevent it having a huge knock on effect, which leads me onto my third reason: is that sometimes there just isn't enough hours in the day, or enough staff members to do the job. Prior to Jhizen joining the team, and Qeight returning, for a good deal of time the GM team consisted of just me and Senrosia. I'm sure you may roll your eyes when you read this, but this reason is given often because it's true: all staff members volunteer, they're not paid, staff do this outside of real life commitments, and real life will come first. Despite knowingly signing up for this work, the amount can be too much for the size of the Moderation team. I'll use myself as an example here to explain more clearly. Outside of PRO, I work a full-time job. There are some days I would only have had 1-2 hours available to spend on PRO, so I would spend this time doing the higher priority things first, which means that the number of cases I had but also the amount of time since I had last dealt with a particular case both increase, at one point I had 120+ active (by active I mean current and waiting on reply) cases - even if I had given each 10 minutes a day (which often isn't enough), that was a minimum of 20 hours worth of work, and it's not like once you've spent those 10 minutes that it's done for good and off your plate, the player replies, you investigate their reply, etc, it's a cycle until the case is closed, and if I only have 1-2 hours each day from Monday-Friday, that's an impossible workload to manage that is fair to everyone, and that's just appeals alone. Now I understand this is an extreme example, coming from a former GM who at the time was part of a team of two people - but the reality I want to share is that if the staff member has the time, they will give you the time, if they don't, they won't have it to give. The only real fix for these problems is to have more staff members, but this is not as easy as it sounds. You must find people who are skilled, willing and are doing it for the right reasons. The right reasons are important because being staff is stressful, and if you aren't motivated by the right things, you won't last more than a couple months. The number of good applications that fit this criteria is low. You must then train these individuals, and during this period this is often where Staff will find that maybe the Apprentice isn't suitable, or maybe the Apprentice decides that this isn't actually for them. It is a known problem, however I would like to point out that the number of appeals that go more than a couple days without response are low, and it's usually GM/Admin cases that take the longest since those groups also have the most diverse roles with the most work to do, but are also the smallest teams because of the criteria to be promoted into one of these roles. I understand the frustration, but for the times response rates are an issue, there isn't a simple or quick fix. For question 3, again I apologise if you feel that this has happened to you. If you feel that a member of Moderation is being rude or unfair to you in your appeal, you can make a Complaint, where a Team Lead or Admin will review the behaviour of the mod and act accordingly. There is a line between being firm in order to find out the facts in a clear and concise way, and being rude. You absolutely shouldn't have to put up with the latter, even if you have broken the rules. I hope that this helps both of you and others with the same questions, but if it is unclear, or you have further questions you are more than welcome to ask. Edit: @ShadowDanny - I have just seen you have mentioned a couple of the points I have addressed above. I hope that this also helps you too, same goes for you if you have any questions you want to ask.1 point

In every community, there are problematic people who tarnish by themselves the reputation of the whole community. The PRO staff member community is not an exception of this rule. In my opinion, 99% of the staff members are making a really good job, taking the good decisions, are reactive and really cool with players. This is very important to say, most of you guy are really making a geat job. BUT the 1% left drag down the staff reputation with their really contestable actions. And when I say 1%, I personnally have one person in mind. To not target toward a specific staffmember, I will not give names but let's use a nickname and call him "Mister P.". Mister P. is hated by a large majority of PRO players. Power abusing, insulting, condescending comments against players etc... always playing with the limits. A lot of people are complaining about him. The bad behavior of Mister P. impacts the reputation of staff members. So my question is simple : Why Mister P. is not fired yet ? Suggestion : If you have many complains about one specific staff member, make a democratic poll and let the PRO players take the decision.1 point

I wholeheartedly agree with everything said in this thread. To add my two cents: As a player who recently joined a guild with a q/g system in place, the extra amount of caution you need to take is something very discouraging. Having a system in place to remove this kind of entry barrier would be very beneficial for newer players, who are still getting used to the pvp scene. And we can all agree that having more players who are actively playing pvp would be beneficial for the game as a whole. This would probably also lead to more guilds encouraging players to do PvP, as <b> everyone</b> can easily join the fight to increase their guild rating. It would also probably be reflected in an increase in coin sales, as people will need more bms/ms to farm efficiently, or just straight up buy coins to get a pvp ready team. The only downside would be the need to invest time into implementing the system. This could range from simply adding some flags in the code to a whole restructure. In the long run, it would probably still be a net positive. In conclusion: Implementing a System where you can choose whether or not to queue against guild members would benefit the game as a whole, and encourage more user to play PvP, as well as help keep them invested in PvP. The benefits outweigh the cost by far, and it should therefore definitely be considered.1 point

Hello trainers! There are several major projects for content in doing that I feel you should know about. I will note some of them down before someone leaks it the wrong way. - New Region New region is a custom approach. We call it a mini-region. But it's actually very huge. It is called Astrella, and it's done mapping wise. Region will feature a variety of spawns (gen 7 area), new content, quests, events, trade city and much more. It will be ready once script-work is done for it and once gen 7+ is fully operational, will not release it before that. Reason for a custom area is a simple one. We are unable to map anything past Unova graphic wise without having it improvised 99% and waste much time into art. The MMO setting commands a new region, so it's being delivered. With it, we will have whole game spawned with old and new Pokemon, closer to being complete. The region is currently in hands of scripters. Once they are done, I will spawn it, so you can catch some of the new Pokemon when we receive a full gen 7 update. - Unova Unova is planned and is slowly being mapped. Once it is done and ready, the whole game will be respawned from scratch due to distribution of the Pokemon around PRO world. We are also looking for mapping manpower to complete the task so that mapping side is done and ready for people to script on. - Orange Islands The Orange Islands are also being mapped and planned. Not much to say about this one. ** Note that plans may change any time. But what I said above is a current plan and it's being worked on. I want to have all mapping done before the schedule so that people can start working on the maps script wise etc. Thank you1 point
