Developers to-do list: //This list is ordered alphabetically. It's just what we have on our to-do list. Auction House //An auction house that'll be usable in-game and on the Dashboard. Battle animation adjustments //That mainly affects the catch animation and a few small adjustments. Battle log //Some plans but probably not easy with ngui. Box rework //A general box rework to add more filters, split the boxes, add mass delete and so on. Double battles //Battle together with your friends and against your enemies within and outside the story! Dungeon á la Mystery Dungeons //Player will have to climb maps as a Pokemon. Repetitive content with a chance of different rewards at the top. Dynamic window layering //There are so many window layering problems recently that I rather add dynamic window layering a la Windows. Event icons rework //The current icon code is really, really bad and needs a rework so we can easily add more information/icons. EXP rework //Our EXP formular is wrong and uses the wrong value for the exp group. This might need a complete spawn and trainer level rework for the story. EXP share //EXP share à la gen2 where the Pokemon that held the item always got its EXP share. Fishing Rework //We plan to make it a mini-game similar to how fishing works in Minecraft. Fixing all incorrectly coded moves and abilities //https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/topic/233061-list-of-broken-moves-abilities-items-in-pro/ Forum change //Xenforo is everything but not user-friendly nor easy to work with and we need to get rid of unique emails. Higher PvP rating at season start //Would like to start the season with a higher rating so you can actually lose something. Illusion //Hard to do cause you need to send different pokes to each user which requires a rework of the code at 180 different places. In-game layer rework //The character and map layer client code is a mess but that's a mammoth project. Ladders in client UI //Show all kind of ladders in the client UI. That includes OU Ranked, Random Ranked and Total Playtime. Lending Trade //Probably needs another rework from scratch. Mail adjustments //Check whether an item is mailable or not when putting it in the mail and not after trying to send it and a mail confirmation to avoid sending it to the wrong user. Make flying mounts/followers keep flying while standing still //Upgrade of the animation capability for the character sprites. Possibly new animation options. Mod tools updates //Mainly for GMs, a few fixes and small feature requests. Nuzlocke Server //A just for fun server with Nuzlocke features. Data cannot be transferred to live servers. https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Nuzlocke_Challenge PRO Editor updates //Many, many updates for the PRO Editor as well as a map server rework from scratch which is already done. The editor is currently in a not working state. PvP elo system //Easy to say, hard to do. PvP encounter rating limit //An option to not encounter users with more than 100 PvP rating less than you. PvP battle replay //Save, play, review and share your battles. PvP battle spectate //Option to allow others to spectate your battles, possibly with a delay. Random Battles and ladder //Not much to say about. Reconnect //That's not only for PvP but in general so users that disconnect unplanned reconnect without even realizing it in the background. Very complex problems. Rework multi-hits //In handhelds every multi-hit has its own damage calculation, crit chance and so on. Required for Parental Bond. Rework winning order //Right now, moves like Destiny Bond and recoil let the wrong user win if both die the same turn. Server merge //Merge gold and silver together and increase the box limit from 1000 to 2000. Show Pokemon and whether they are dead or alive in PvP battles //Initially planned to replace the Pokeballs with the Pokemon sprite but the Pokemon sprites are too big, and resizing them makes it impossible to identify the Pokemon. Android cannot see anything so they were added elsewhere. Slider to change how many users you can see on the same map //To unburden old hardware without the need to use foreveralone. Options to see friends- and/or guildies-only as well. Terrains //Terrain moves, the needed abilities and Terrain Extender for Tapus. Player/Social window rework //Similar rework as PvP window but for the social tab. We could possibly add following features: Boss Cooldowns Page: NPC sprite, name, location, current win-streak, cooldown timer, weekly boss limit counter, friendlist: status message, last online, guild: last online, user rating, Input field with an invite button, guild creating in social/player window, /foreveralone check box, time ladder, PMs enabled for everyone/friends option instead of using the online status as indicator. Team Builder //Create teams with your Pokemon and replace your whole team with a single click instead of looking for every Pokemon in your box. Transform and Imposter //Ditto needs some love. Two-factor authentication //With 2FA, you need to use two things to prove it's really you before you can log into your account. For example, you might need to enter your password (that's one factor) and then type in a special code that's sent to your phone (that's the second factor). By using 2FA, it's harder for someone else to get into your account because they would need to have both your password and access to your phone. Username borders //Didn't think about it any further. Visual for active stat changes //Not sure how to do that yet, might be a space-related problem. Visual for environment moves //Probably just a new background as long as the rooms are active, Artists where are you? Z-Moves //Boom, baam, damage, yknow.. ▣ High priority ▣ Normal priority ▣ Low priority ▣ Completed Please do not suggest any of the features/planned changes above as they are already on our to-do list!34 points

My only suggestion would be that after recycling items, it brought you to the same sub menu you were recycling in, and not at the first selection option. It makes it so painful to recycle.2 points

Hi Darksun20, Nothing is unfair, the summer event should be here for more than 30 days. Also if we encounter a problem and have to make it shorter I can at every moment decrase the variable for everyone. Also this npc is clearly worth to be used even without getting the 30 days reward. Hello there, hope you're all doing fine. PRO has recently released Vulcan event part 2, so here is a walkthrough of the event. Before we start make sure you prepare : 1. At least 6 sitrus berries 2. A pokemon with the "Drizzle" ability (Pelipper/politoed) 3. A strong team 4. Rock smash and flash pokemon To start the event, speak to Archaeologist Dalton in Vulcanic Town.
He will ask you to find 7 pokemon with blue names scattered around the island. They are at: 1x Vulcan island Shore, 1x Vulcan cove, 1x Vulcan cave, B2F 1x Vulcan path, 2x Vulcan Forest, 1x Kalijodo Lake So next we'll be headed East, following the path to Kalijodo lake, where we will meet the first pokemon
Next we'll be going back to Vulcanic town and go south.
Keep following the path to Vulcan shore, and eventually Vulcan cave.

Finally the last pokemon is in Vulcan cave, indicated by the blue arrow from the previous pokemon.
Circles indicate rock smash After that, return to Vulcan town and speak to Dalton again. He will let you into the cavern. (At this point prepare your sitrus berries, and the drizzle pokemon. After the long trek through the Cavern, enter the temple and press the statues in this order.
Blue circles = Trainer battles Red circles = Free tm's Purple circle = Drizzle pokemon Pink square = To get to switch 5, you have to position yourself so that the rampardos headbutts you past the lava pool and sraight to 5 Switch 6 = Give the fletchling sitrus berries while following it. And if you follow everything correctly, it should lead you to the boss, Emerald. At this point, feel free to go back to town and prepare your boss team, as you're going to need it.
Emerald is a superboss, meaning no items can be used. If you lose, there will be a 24 hour cooldown before you can battle here again. This was my playthrough of the boss, so feel free to comment down below what other moves her pokemon had. Mantine - Scald, toxic, air slash Life orb Rapidash - Flare blitz, superpower, wild charge, high horsepower(Ground type move) Togekiss - Air slash, flamethrower, nasty plot Ludicolo - Hydro pump, giga drain, ice beam, rain dance Life orb Starmie - Hydro pump, ice beam, thunderbold Life orb Sceptile - EQ, focus blast, dragon pulse This was the boss team i used. 2 whimsicotts with memento, uxie sets up rocks and memento(If you don't have a uxie, feel free to substitute with another whimsicott, tentacruel sets toxic spikes, Ferrothorn sets up rocks and spikes, then set up cosmic power and calm minds with clefable. If you've followed everything in this guide correctly, you should have had no trouble completing this quest, and receiving the prize from Emerald. Congrats and enjoy your prize!
The event wings are not available as of 2020. But wait, we're not done, there is still more to find! So grab your volcanion and get ready to grab the next rewards. Apparently Emerald has butter fingers and she dropped something special somewhere. Oh this is exciting! Keep in mind we can skip straight to the location She said that she dropped it in some place similar to the temple, so let's try Ruins of Alph in Johto as that is similar to the temple.
Turns out he is traveling in his native region. That must be Hoenn, as Emerald mentioned something about Hoenn Okay, well why don't we go to mt.chimney, as that place is hot, just like mt.summer
Turns out there is a clue here, and the clue is "Emerald? I think he was looking for underground areas rather than mountains. Okay so far, he will try to be underground. No tall places. Next clue is at the end of victory road.
All he says for the next clue is referring to a crater. Alright, we've got underground, ruins of some type, and crater.. Where could that be? If you want a challenge and figure out the location by yourself, i advise you not to open the next spoiler box, but if you don't care and want the easy way out, then knock yourself out.
Just an fyi, Sootopolis was created from a meteorite, resulting in a crater. So the location must be in there, cave of origin! One of the clues also stated "underground", so let's go down, all the way down to the last floor of origin cave (the floor where you choose magma cave or aqua cave -, B3f) After that, the wings should be hidden on the floor straight left from where you came in on the ladders. There you go, have fun and enjoy your prize :) The event wings are not available as of 2020. Huge thanks to Neozeen,Split, and Char for helping me make this guide! I could not have done it without their help.1 point

Once you've arrived on the Island speak to the NPC called Dr. Reinfield, he will ask you to meet him at the welcome centre so he can discuss more regarding the summer quest. Once inside speak to him once again and he will explain to you that you will need to find some items. The 3 items being a Red Stone, Blue Pearl and Red Banana. After this we have officially started the quest. I also made a PRO Wiki page regarding some info of the event island. Still a work in progress but if you have any data/info feel free to let me know on discord. Special credits go out to Thatkid and Freelancer for some important information given regarding the Boss Mole Marc, Gore for giving me a free Masterball, Comrader and Zypaex for some quality checking. Aegislash wasn't a hard to counter Pokemon when stance change was not coded, but now it causes havoc ^ this is what stance change does. So basically, it take hits in the defensive form and then attack in the offensive form. Its hard to counter rn, imagine what will happen when the secondary effect of kings shield is coded. Just wanna say, please ban it asap1 point

As mentioned above, certain pokemom can learn a specific move via TM but not via Tutor. While it may seem weird, you'll have to try both options for each pokemon that this may affect. The TM is in the Celadon Department Store, in the TM Selling Floor. The gentleman sells it (next to the karate guy).1 point

Hi, @Nighthawk202. Little note that old Red and Blue server merged into Silver server and Yellow server changed its name into Gold server. I have checked your account's database, you have been playing mainly in Blue server. I think your Silver progress problem came because you have selected your main server wrong while merging. I can offer you an unmerge, however you'll lose your current progress, pokemons, and items in Silver. (As for the progress, it will be overrided with your old Blue progress, for the pokemons and items, it will be overrided with your old Red items + Blue items) Think about the offer, and tell me if you made a decision. I'll be waiting for your reply. Have a nice day. Kind regards, HappyMango.1 point

Since the most recent change just a few days ago (hours, even), the quest to access Sinnoh has been completely replaced. If you were in the middle of the quest, about to start it or had beaten Hannah but not talked to her and teleported to Sinnoh, you'll have to start the new one from scratch. Good luck, trainer! VERY BIG WARNING: ONCE YOU ENTER ROUTE 101 TO FIGHT THE GRUNTS, DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT GO BACK TO LITTLEROOT TOWN. IF THE NPCS DISAPPEAR AND YOU CANNOT PROGRESS, POST HERE: https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/topic/871-url . THERE SEEMS TO BE A BUG WHERE, IF YOU GO BACK TO THE TOWN AND THEN REENTER ROUTE 101, THE GRUNTS COMPLETELY DISAPPEAR AND YOU CANNOT CONTINUE THE QUEST UNTIL YOU ARE HELPED BY PRO STAFF. WELCOME TO THE SINNOH ACCESS QUEST GUIDE! The quest will start once you speak to the NPC Paul in Lilycove City (Hoenn). You need to have 6 pokemon in your team that are at the very least level 80 or above. This can be acheived by training them in Mount Silver or in Cerulean Cave as the NPC says. However, getting access to Cerulean Cave is painful, so we can also borrow a friend's team. The pokemon do not have to be ours to be valid for the quest, so we can borrow 6 pokemon at level 80 from a friend or train them ourselves. He will then teleport us back to Littleroot Town. Once you exit your house, you'll find unwanted visitors: Team Galaxy Grunts! The villagers need help! You will then approach Stan, who stares at you, menacingly (yes, this is a Jojo's reference). He will fight you with strong pokemon. He has a level 70 Exploud, Hariyama, Crobat and Purugly. They will then Teleport and escape. Go north to route 101. More grunts will appear. The next one has a level 70 Mightyena, Dustox, Masquerain and Luxray. Grunt Bernie is next. He has a level 70 Mawile, Aggron, Electrode and Skuntank. Grunt Jack comes afterwards. this will take long... He has a level 70 Cacturne, Altaria, Whiscash and Bronzong. Grunt Mario has a level 70 Whiscash, Claydol, Banette, and Drapion. There's still more! Grunt Karina has a level 70 Medicham, Dusclops, Glalie and Toxicroak. The last Grunt, Vincent, has a level 70 Absol, Tropius, Flygon and Weavile. You will then reach Oldale Town. Heal up and try to go to Route 102. Stan will block the way and fight you with his level 100 Alakazam. When he's defeated, he will teleport you to Route 103. You'll see Mars, Saturn, Pluton and Birch. However, you'll hear a mysterious voice: Maxie and Archie will take care of two of them, while you'll fight Pluton. He is a tough one. Pluton has a level 100 Slowking who will spam Scald, a Rotom-Wash, a Porygon-Z, a Blaziken, a Sceptile and Swampert (the pokemon they forced to evolve, it seems). Since many people asked for help on this step, I will give you an example strategy of how you can beat this boss easily: 1.- Geodude with Sturdy + Stealth Rock (or any evolution, you can capture one in Mt Silver with the moveset ready as Graveler) 2.- Electrode with Eerie Impulse (you can get one at a high level already in Cerulean Cave) 3.- 1 Pokemon with a good setup move. Examples: Gyarados with Dragon Dance, Clefable with Cosmic Power, Slowbro with Calm Mind and Iron Defense, etc. For this boss, I recommend you either unlock the Mega Slowbro Stone or you use a Clefable, easy to farm and use. You begin by using Stealth Rock with Graveler and letting it faint. Then you Eerie Impulse multiple times against the Slowking and faint your Electrode. After this, switch in your pokemon with a setup move equipped with leftovers, set up until your stats are maxed and you will be able to sweep. Example: Clefable - Cosmic Power, Toxic, Softboiled, Moonblast Gyarados - Dragon Dance, Earthquake, Waterfall, Ice Fang Slowbro - Iron Defense, Calm Mind, Slack Off, Surf However, they will escape after you defeat him. You will talk to Birch and he'll actually tell you that the three Hoenn starters are lost in Route 101 and 102. Mudkip can be found just below Birch in the Route 103. You need Surf to pick him up here. Torchic will be hiding in the spot in front of me in Route 101. Interact with it to rescue the lost pokémon. Treecko will be hidden in front of me in this spot in Route 102. Interact with it as you did before. Once you have picked up the three Pokemon, talk with Birch. He will tell you to go and talk to Alakazam. He can be found in the Docks in Lilycove City (same place you can go and get the boat to go back to Vermillion and Olivine. Congratulations, you've now completed the new Sinnoh Quest! VERY BIG WARNING: ONCE YOU ENTER SINNOH, THERE IS NO GOING BACK. YOU MUST DEFEAT THE ELITE FOUR IF YOU WANT TO GO BACK TO THE PREVIOUS REGIONS. Special thanks to: @WhiteBaron (mr corsi handsome french boy) for helping me out and fixing the variables that bugged while I was doing the quest. @Donuts02 for lending me his level 100s so I could rush Hoenn to do a guide of the quest for forums. @jimmicha for rushing my account story in Silver so I could do more guides for forums.1 point

Just ban kings shield. All of you who thinks its "easy" to counter aegishlash probably looked at smogon for 10sec and found one set and think this is it. The amount of sets it has alrdy make the poke insanely strong and stance change is also strong enough on itself, the argument that banning kings shield make stance change useles is riduculus dumb, please think for 20sec what stance change offers already, its alrdy super strong and kings shield just with it in a vaccum alrdy push it towards op. Now add the fact that with out knowing beforehands what set it runs make it insanely hard to scout with out punishment while the aegishlash user suffers very litle repercusion because of kings shield. Added with the fact that its ghost type make it unable to get trapped by mag, kings shield literly punsh poke that pursuit traps in combination with kings shield again leaves it with no natural predator... And i havnt even started with the amount of 50/50 the kings shield user can force at his wills is insane. Most 50/50 in pvp brings risk and most players try to plans his pieces multi turns in advance to get into position at forcing the opponent in a 50/50 turn in order to do dmg. King shield user here can very casually force these 50/50 senarios both offensivly and deffensivly in his favor every other turn, and because of stance change the drawback of losing those flipps are almost none existent. This is insanely inbalanced in the top level of battle imo. Like kings shield is literly a protect+ intimidate in one move, thats alrdy put it at A rank move, now unlike other power moves it dosnt have a bad secundary drawback nor a very limited pp pool, and add it with stance change which gives it 150 def and spedef??? Add all this again with a poke that can run physical attacker, special attacker, substitue, sword dance, toxic,oh and a actual protect aswell, piority move, and the fact that pretty much nothing can one shot it in deffense form. HoW cAn KInGS SHIeLD be ALloWEd? The only thing that keep it balanced right now is that most users literly just copy the shadow ball, sneak, kings shield, sacred sword build, most "abusers" right now are to dumb to explore outside of the "all chat please help me, what set is best with aegishlash" set. Give it couple of weeks and when stuffs like substitute+kings shield+toxic, choiced sets start to hit the frontpage where u lose a pokemon cause u swapped in into a toxic or a choiced atk completely tear a team apart. Oh and scarfed ones speed creep the likes of serperior and with a ghost/steel typing pretty much make it immune to any piority counter attacks. IT alrdy bullied previous top meta attacker such as conk and lucario out completely while filling their roles in teams. Now thats only 2 pokemon thats lost their jobs, dont forget this guy can do it all, special attacker, toxic breaker, sub breaker. When people discover start scrolling though those sets more poke will lose their jobs while this guy with its big fking kings shield take those spots and do beter. Honestly i challenge you to give me a list of pokemon that can switch into a unscouted aegishlash with impunity. With that i mean it dosnt get 2hit koed, get toxied and put on a timer, get set up on and risk lose the game immedietly. (I might have missed some but im pretty confident in this statement) I can give myself a example for counter argument. A max spedef gliscor can come in and take around 50% on shadowball. (it might dies to hp ice but thats so nische that we dont count it here). Now u face a 50/50 but not rly. U can roost here and risk getting outspeed by scarf and dies(same with any other option not involving switching out, u can click earthquake and risk the 50/50 but not rly where the aegishlash user can kings shield it and now walla ur next earthquake will do shit to shield form and u need to now either switch out or sac gliscor, 3rd option is u still roost and this aegishalsh is not scarfed but it still attacks u and walla now ur back to option 2 again enjoj. Oh btw if its not special aegish and ur gliscor comes in on the dude sword dancing u now face a iron head that put u in range of shadow sneak if not outright kills u with life orb. Oh yeah im to lazy to explore the other lines such as substitute which demands a eq wich can lead to the shadowball senario or a free momentum switch and different lines blablabla. Bottom line the aegishlash user commands all the moves and what 50/50 he is willing to take and what he risks, while the other guy have a very limited moves to choose from while also risk more and never gains tempo. Pss1:had a game on pro and kings shield apprantly dont cancel outrage. So if a dude clicks outrage u can just come in shield it and gives it -1 then set up while the dude is forced to hit u with -1 outrage that does negative damage until it runs out xD. In the name of balance of course. Pss2:To wrap it up. I agree that in a 1v1 vaccum even with kings shield its not godlike op. But in the long run with more teams and sets involved u are simply bound to run into a set that just hard counter ur team. Now this argument is as old as dragonite usage and just as worn out. You cant hard counter everything and blablabla which i agree. But those senarios the pokemon in question dont have fricking stance change and kings shield with a movepool as large as your mums mcdonald menu. So yeah remove the ying-yang-i stomp u by mashing my keyboard with my face combo. Just take kingshield out of the equation. Whats left is still a strong and versatile pokemon but balanced in my not so humble opinion. Pss3: im not toxic i swear, mods please dont spank me if any1 feels offended.1 point

Hello ladies and gentlemen, I want to suggest an NPC, who sells repels in bulk for cheap, similar to ultra ball maniac in fuchsia. Since repels are one of the most used items ingame I guess that would help and safe a lot of money.1 point

just ban it. yes its fun to use and its a new mon but lets be honest its a little too strong for the options availble in pro rn having to tailor one or 2 mons specifically to deal with it and then having to spend the whole game protecting those 2 mons just incase aegi hits the field is kinda dumb anyone saying -1 clearly just wants to abuse its raw power to gain free wins1 point

Changelog 21.08.2020: You can open the inventory in-battle now as well as using in-game items via hotkeys now. Short example video Shaking ball animation when catching a Pokemon is 60% faster now. Fixed right click menu. It won't go out of screen anymore. Move descriptions in battle adjust themselves to be readable if they go out of screen. Fixed forced Pokemon preview. That caused the reroll NPC to not preview the legendary. False Swipe can kill Substitute now. Berries shouldn't heal dead Pokemon in any case anymore. Added [iCODE]/pvp_ready[/iCODE] command to accept the battle in team preview now. The team preview did not appear for a few users rarely, with this command they can still accept it. [*]Fixed battle start weather effect order. The text is in correct order if both users summon a weather effect and the weather effect shows after the text now. [*]Implemented proper exclusive fullscreen mode and display refresh rate. [*]Hopefully fixed the visual bug where your Pokemon movesets switched. [*]Fixed the bug where your settings reset on client restart. [*]Fixed the bug where the music did not play until you clicked on apply in client settings. [*]Limited minimum client resolution to 640x480. [*]Added a confirmation window with a 15 seconds cooldown ala Windows before reseting resolution changes in exclusive Fullscreen. [*]Fixed the bug where maps ended in pixel chaos, especially at night time. [*]When logging out while the EXP bar runs then it won't cause weird visual bugs after relogging anymore. [*]The evolution window should always appear and always disappear after logging out now. [*]Fixed the shiny/form window. You cannot do any action until you clicked okay again. Hey fellow PvP players, In this thread I will explain how we enforce this rule, what counts towards it and why it is important to cooperate with us here. I made the mistake and not thoroughly wrote down procedures, limitations and explanations for the community which resulted in some unfair bans that will be fixed as soon as possible, so count this thread as an apology for our mess as well. This type of stuff shouldn't happen, will not happen again and I take full responsibility for it. The current rule that forbids any type of boosting. What counts towards this rule?: Playing against any accounts you have access to If Bob has the password of Billy and Bob matches against Billy in ranked PvP, you may risk of being flagged as boosting players. The best advice we can give here is that you do not share accounts to avoid any confusion here. Did Billy actually play or was it Bob controlling both accounts. Those are questions we have to answer. Playing against your own alternate accounts If Tom owns the accounts Tom123 & Tom321 and matches against himself in ranked PvP, he will be banned for boosting. Playing on an account you do not rightfully own Jake gave his account to Bob so he can play ranked PvP on it and Bob starts playing in ranked with Jake's account, you will be banned for boosting. Please avoid at any cost playing on someone elses account in ranked PvP unless you have full control over it (E-Mail is yours, you are the only one having access to the account and the original owner does not return) Disconnecting on purpose and receiving payments for it Bob matches against Tom, Tom messages Bob & asks him if he could disconnect or let him win for 50k$. Bob should report Tom however if he accepts this payment both players will be banned for boosting. Disconnecting repeatedly against the same players Billy always disconnects against Jake because he thinks he is the superior player. This might get you flagged as boosting if done multiple times as you are supposed to play out all matches. We can see the difference between server crashes, a user with bad internet or someone boosting. Disconnecting against Guild members on purpose or due to "Queue/Game" guild rules Bob, Tom and Jake are in the same guild [ExamplePlayers]. Tom matches against Jake in ranked PvP and Jake disconnects during team-preview. If done multiple times you may get flagged as boosters. Jake writes in his guild chat or in a matchmaking chat on their discord that he is in the queue. Jake: queue Bob always forgets to write in that chat and matches against Jake. Jake is annoyed and tells Bob to disconnect because he broke the "queue/game" guild rules. This may get you flagged as boosting as well, as you are supposed to play out all matches. Playing against another player under the same network/connection. Unfortunately staff is unable to verify and confirm if someone is really living with other people, making therefore impossible for us to see if it's one single persone with two different account or two different people. Reason we can't do that is simply that we don't live with you, it's not a problem of our tools. As the last thing always gets broken and causes a lot of confusion we made an announcement regarding it: If you have any further questions please write them down below and I try to answer all of them to the best of my ability. Kind regards. Credits to Qeight1 point
