INTRODUCTION As the XMAS Event has been completely and entirely released, we would like to gather the feedback about this event. The reason we do this is pretty much the fact that the community's opinion has a really high value and impact on the game itself, and therefore it is important to consider it in order to understand if we are on the correct path in terms of what we are releasing. Feedback also help us to understand if what we release is liked, if it could have been better (and how) and in general to allow us to fix any potential error and keep improving the game doing even better. XMAS EVENT FEEDBACK In this specific case, we would like to hear your opinion on the following topics: Enjoyment Quest Difficulty Story/Lore perspective Effort/Reward Ratio We are aware that not all of you will be able to comment those for various reasons (e.g people speedrunning), however we will really appreciate if you can give your productive feedback on as many of them as you can in the most accurate way possible. FEEDBACK EXAMPLES PRODUCTIVE FEEDBACK: Mountain Area boss was too hard compared to the final boss for the quest. It was a forced super boss battle that didn't need to be one since it felt more like a dungeon and you shouldn't be prevented from using potions there. NON-PRODUCTIVE FEEDBACK: The complete quest was too hard, make it easy.3 points

Hey there, i'd like to suggest to make it possible for players to manually sort the PC (where pokemon are stored) like in the OG-Gameboy games, to make it easier for players with alot of pokemons to keep everything structured. Thanks alot! 0kami3 points

Daycare's at least for me, Fall in a Very awkward part of pro. They are basically one time things most players do then completely forget about them and just do excavations instead, which i dont blame them. Treating pokemon from daycare's are very time consuming without much of a payoff of just 1 mon you can sync. Its random each time of which mon you get as well (as long as your high enough rank to have them all available) So im going to suggest a couple ideas to make Daycare Treatments a whole lot more worthwhile to do. Chains- What i mean by this is there are 4 daycares you can treat pokemon at each one just as random as the last. With chaining each time you do a single one of these Treatments a day, the next one you do has a increased chance to be a higher tier spawn from them. (it would reset every day) This would let people pick the order they want to do the daycares in in order to try for a increased chance at a starter or a mon they really want. Syncing- This is more of a quality of life change to Treatments and that is a double check to see if you have the right sync. ATM when you give the last needed item for the treatment it kicks you right into the fight. A quick "are you ready to face (pokemon name here) Y-N box would be extremely helpful. Repetitive tasks- This may just be me but i find it extremely annoying to go get for example Clay from digletts tunnel just to take it back to the daycare lady just to say "Great but the treament still needs more items. The next item you need is clay from digletts tunnel" This is a minor pet peeve but can be solved with a checklist that the game looks for to see if you completed one out of the number of items you have collected. No real rewards for getting max rank- You could say the rewards for getting max rank (aka specialist) is having a chance at higher tier pokemon. Which fair enough but look at Excavations and you can see a whole lot more Rewards for getting higher ranks/excavation points. You get points that can be exchanged for megastones/fossils/useful items. You unlock more and more excavation sites. You get a option to pay to sync pokemon. Daycares seem to be lacking in this department. (no i dont count egg moves since you can do it at rank 0 in doctor rank) This could be fixed from making the previous idea ;Chains; and adding a small number of points given from each successful recovery, you would get more if you completed a whole chain of 4 daycares. What would you get with these points, well since useful items are already excavations thing why not unique pokeballs (ie the pokeballs you cant get ingame atm)/pinch berries (like salac). This would give a way to farm them while also giving people a reason to do their daily Daycares. This would satisfy hunters since they could hunt mons with their favorite ball for color matching and Make pvp'ers want to grind them out to get a berry they need for a specific team. Ill leave the pricing/number of points given up to you. Showing current number of Treatments on your Trainers card. Very minor and just a quality of life change. If this does get put in, this would be a way to check your points like excavations. Thank you for reading and hope you consider my suggestion and give feedback if you so wish, wither that be good or bad.2 points

It already has been suggested many times and is already on the devs to-do-list as you can check here: https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/topic/159019-dev-to-do-list/2 points

The idea isn't even that bad, server transfers are free every month/every 30 days so majority of the counter arguments fall flat like "competitive integrity" or "unfair" advantages. How practical is the suggestion though, PROs current spawns don't allow for that kind of flexibility because either a) the spawns already exists somewhere else or b) there aren't enough interesting Pokemon for it so it doesn't have any identity. If the game every receives a complete spawn overhaul, this idea is probably something I would implement to give servers more meaning and making more use of server transfers.2 points

Quest was pretty much good. I got no high tier Xmas form ( I blame @WhiteBaronfor this ). Quest was difficult but it's reward make it worth it. If you have completed whole quest , you get items which are worth 500k+ from Santa. Story line is good enough. There is nothing to say much about it. In my view , it was one of the best event in PRO. Releasing a new legendary is like archiveving a great milestone. Reward ratio was fine as per me. Cheers for full staff team to organise a epic event for us.2 points

Enjoyment I am not really enjoy some part such as NPC with lv 100 with 6 Pokemon. This is so annoying part I dislike it. Also, battle NPC can't use items. If it is for final boss I can accept that. Furthermore, Hunt Contest always being same thing in every event. When I go to Evergreen, always see Riolu get the highest score in Silver server. Quest Difficulty It is normal for me somehow we can get information from other player. Story/Lore perspective Not much to say, I like story. Effort/Reward Ratio I like those rewards.1 point

I played most christnas events that pro has offered. I think i like the spawns at the map some are less rewarding and some are well snobbed. Due to the fact the pokes can be hunted elsewhere in the event map. Next regarding about tier rarity. T6 hound(evergreen) became less frequent than hunting them at wasteland. Although i like the part where get keldeo but i want to be honest here, i hate the part where we do a long quest then end up with trash legendary. Like literally not pvp wise ivs. Maybe next time at least make a code that we at least get usable ivs(dont need for the nature its cheaper cost to handle than ivs). Another thing is why is it that the odds of getting xmas forms drops each day / week? I noticed that not only in this event. Also i like the idea of the new boss in this event. Maybe next time add a similar boss in the upcoming events. My judgment this event is great around 4☆ for me. Why not 5 stars? I was expecting sinnoh starters to get their alternate forms and a new xmas dragon but didnt have them now lol.1 point

I overall enjoyed the event, not gonna lie, either the quest and spawns were okay; the only thing i didn't really like was the fee to enter the event map, players that invest their money in the 'train ticket' should't pay anything more to travel in my opinion. Thanks for the content, hope we will get more and better in the future!1 point

Well every year xmas is one of the most waited events I saw the quest fine, it gives you the challenge to go all around doing different things. And not just fighting an npc to get rewards. The only thing I did not like from the quest was the items requested by the npc who gives the Breloom outfit. And to be paying 7.5k everytime to get into Matsuki Map, I know events could be intended for not too new players, but even though it hits the economy of some, and I include myself since sometimes I relog to arrive to pc and ended being at vermilion, or a quick misclick trying to go to Evergreen. Other years you make us pay 5k and well we accepted it, but I see this is going higher for coming years, and as said it will hit players economy that have low budget. I know I'm poor but hope you get my point since the idea fir the quest is enjoying and reaching some "goals" and not to spend the money.. I would prefer spending the money on buying a poke or item that I will use instead of leaf stones and revivals and the airline.1 point

This year's Christmas event, overall, was pretty nice. Based on the constructive feedback template, I'd go with the following, explaining why later on: Enjoyment: Enjoyable for those who are looking for a challenge, or like puzzles/riddles and so on. 7.5/10 for me, because the spawns made up for it mostly. Quest Difficulty: 5/10. I didn't really have much of an issue with the whole thing, only when you had to come back all the way to the superboss if something went wrong. My piece of advice, to help newer players is to make trainer pokemon level scalable with party level (without knowing if that's something PRO has the tools to achieve) (for example, if the highest level of Pokemon in your party is 50, make the trainer's Pokemon levels 50 or so) so that it's the same enjoyable for everyone. Story/Lore perspective: Not familiar with the original storyline that much, will go with 7.5/10 Effort/Reward Ratio: 8/10, the free rewards for x-mas could be slightly better in my opinion. On a sidenote, I understand that getting money out of the economy this moment is good (hence why staff auctions were held), but the entry fee each time to Matsuki was a bad idea, in my opinion. Too many dailies to do, sometimes you have to meet elsewhere to do a trade and all these reasons made people hate the fee, myself included. Happy new year and good job!1 point

"Corsica Island is coming soon. Corsica Island is the third and final part of PRO's Christmas Event of 2020, and is well on it's way. The map is in testing, and side quests are being coded ready for it's release." The event, although it is true, was innovative, bringing us to the God Keldeo and many very nice farming spots, I think it fell short in rewards, as for the Christmas gift it has many bugs, for example, they say that they give you 10-20 Pve coins but in reality they are ghosts since no matter how much you relogue they do not appear. Btw 2021 and I'm still waiting for Corsica Island . I think if they had taken better advantage of the Christmas occasion by adding these Pokemon, the event would have been one of the best - Vanillite T7 - Amaura T8 - Turtonator - Crabawler - Komala with skin christmas1 point

A weird story line also i like it the 3 way to finish the entire quest, but i really dislike when the White Baron arrive to the city, cuz anybody said anything about talk first with Nikola, but after few hours, even the admins/mods was saying to talk with him first to get a better reward, i mean, if this was a kind of secret, you can said something like "Remember to talk with the guy before claim the gift" give a clue, but no, nobody said anything at the first time, but then even the admins/mods were saying directly to go and talk to nikola... 5/10 this event1 point

Then you transfer your money to a other account. The costs of the train system are fine imo. The only things that suck is, that you have those ugly and unhandy train menus and that you cant reach any place by just one station.1 point

Always gives me a good laugh thinking about this. Spawns are something that should always be decided by people who know what they are doing & aren't influenced by people with lack of understanding what everything entails. I did spawns back in 2017 already (https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/topic/69218-spawn-revision-2017-and-repel-trick/), this was all me, going as far as writing changelogs for Red to copy paste & the sole reason why Repeltricks are even a supported feature. I was Spawn Editor (a role that was created pretty much for me at the time), so I can confidentiality say that suggestions are the one of the most important part about spawn changes. It is near impossible to check everything on your own, so Spawn Editors heavily rely on suggestions. Rates, chances, items, repeltricks, levels etc should be decided based on factors such as economy, viability, availability, progress access. If you misjudge any of the following factors you get bad spawns, spawns that are unbalanced, destroy the value of existing Pokemon etc. As for the post itself: Themes are something that limits the Spawn Editors creativity massively, often times results in heavily unbalanced spawns in terms of value but also in terms of what gets added. Who is Spawn Editor also influences a lot of the decision making, know-it-all people will never succeed to players satisfaction, inexperienced/less caring Spawn Editors will add stuff way beyond their usual rarity tier levels (adding a Tier6 spawn when they only show up as Tier9 spawn everywhere else) or very PvP heavy Spawn Editors will focus on that & will fail to take all factors into account. This, brilliant idea. How can you make the most of the time spent hunting at a specific place, needing the same nature is a perfect example on how to respect players time. (Pinkan Island has the rough idea behind it when I changed them a while ago) Morning, Day, Night cycles are also a good way to get incorporate more to a spawn area than just a theme. I was never a fan of the Guild Island spawns in general (if nothing changed, then I think it still remains that only Top3 guilds can enter those areas?). If that remains true then you are insanely limited as Spawn Editor as you can not make them "too good" as you will leave out majority of the community, especially smaller and/or PvE focused guilds. If you make them too bad then what is the point of it all? The middle-ground is usually not satisfying enough for players to go and grind out the guild ladder. Spawns are something a Spawn Editor needs passion for, asking the community about spawns will results in the same scenario as with incompetent Spawn Editors from the past who do what they want with no real thinking behind it. The community feedback can be incorporated once spawns are finalized and actually tested. This shows by the lack of responses to the thread and from past experiences, majority of the hundreds of changes that I made were directly from player feedback to existing spawns. To sum it up: Don't ask players about what themes they want, they don't know what they want. They want their time respected and it is your job to deliver something players will enjoy but also has to be adjustable in accordance to player feedback. Peace & happy new year1 point
