I don't have any problem staff because my relationship between staffs is love.6 points

Compared to few others similar games i play, i have noticed PRO staff more hard working and honest. All those who are talking about mutes and other stuff like late response, it's not mods who broke the game rules, its you. Its game, we all fun, joke, troll with each other but we need to make sure that it don't hurt others. If you really don't want to get into any sort of trouble, stay respectful with each other and obey the game rules. Whenever someone makes mistakes, they should be punished. It's good for community. I don't have any problem with PRO staff team.5 points

This post really only highlights some more issues. It is very common knowledge that you run staff with complete dictatorship, therefore you have the absolute power to improve the player-staff relationship from the top-down. Since you mentioned Prehax, I have to imagine that a big reason as to why this thread is necessary is because of a post he made literally five days ago that essentially started off by telling everyone to f--- off. Not literally, but that is how it came off. If you have been reading other's comments, I am not alone in that opinion. I am not sure if "five days" is far enough back to look past. I am extremely disturbed with how you and other members of staff treat insults and non-constructive criticism. Firstly, English is not everyone's first language. Secondly, when someone is upset, being reasonable or responding constructively is difficult. You must take this into consideration when you read someone's complaint. Take a moment and try to view it through their eyes and formulate their frustration. Your quote and Prehax's language from the post linked above gives me the impression that staff immediately dismisses complaints if they are insulting or rude. I believe you will struggle to grow or improve if you constantly dismiss complaints from players too frustrated (or not well-spoken enough) to formulate constructive criticism. When you say that you spend weeks of 12 hour days on things we do not see, this is concerning. When I was a member of staff, team leads were afraid or unwilling to approve ideas or suggestions because they would also need to be approved by you first. I hear stories of content scripters having passion to code new things, only to be dismissed by you. You need to learn how to distribute work and responsibility. You also need to learn how to trust others. The PvP Council is a great example of you failing to trusting your team. Hopefully you've learned from that experience. And hopefully you learn from this thread as well.5 points

It's incredibly easy to comment on or judge something from the outside that's why I want to give you some insight. As far as the moderation is concerned, I'm hardly involved at all. There have been several situations in which I have clashed with moderators or GMs, but it had absolutely nothing to do with a dictatorship. It was more often about rules that are technically not possible. One of them, for example, was to permanently remove players from the game and forbid to create new accounts, which cannot be done with our tools, and I was absolutely against banning someone who had played on a new account without breaking rules. Of course, the other side also had good reasons to hold on to it, but it was impossible. Even companies such as Blizzard cannot prevent that. To say that situations like this make me a dictator while having no idea is beyond presumptuous. There have been situations in which smaller groups within Discord were formed that only shit-talked staffs and primarily me. However, this was only made public after they left the team. There were accusations such as "You don't give a fuck about moderation staffs cause you unbanned GoldenPikachu", although I would like to mention that this never happened. GoldenPikachu, like many others, only had the permission to create a new account, as we can't really prevent him from doing so. As for the PvP Council, I would like to speak about this once more. I made a lot of mistakes there that I wouldn't make again. However, it was originally not intended as a PvP Council, which I also wrote publicly. It should serve as a discussion platform. That many of those involved were outraged that they could not decide/vote for PvP bans on their own is a mystery to me to this day. I don't want to shirk my responsibility here either, some decisions should have been made earlier. Now Joro is in control of it and I am sure that there are only few who are dissatisfied with it. Well, the argument that players can't give constructive criticism because their English isn't good enough is an incredibly weak argument. There are always ways to express constructive criticism. May it be with the help of friends or staffs who speak the same language. The only reason not being able to express constructive criticism is that you don't have any. And should someone not being able to express constructive criticism because he, she or diverse was too frustrated in that situation, then it's still possible once calmed down. As mentioned earlier, both Prehax and other staffs have made mistakes in the past and have been confronted for them. This is currently being done by Keita. Should new cases arise, the forum can be used to forward them. As for the mentioned scripter situation, all I can say is that there could only be two possible reasons why this could have happened. The most likely is that the implementation required new features that were not implemented for various reasons and the other is that there wasn't a good reward system. Everything else is usually waved through. If there were other reasons, I am open to listen to and comment on them. I would say that scripters and I work very closely together, as they are often very dependent on dev changes. Honestly, why should I keep scripters from adding more content to the game?4 points

I've noticed a couple recurring questions with no answer regarding ban processes. I'm sure Keita will also reply later, and to the other questions also, but as a GM who has left relatively recently, I'd like to shed some light on these ones. Hi @Ishan2020 There are typically 3 "kinds" of ban reason - Attempted, Successful and Investigation. Attempted and Successful ban reasons have enough supporting evidence for Moderation to make a call without any dependency on further investigation from the player. The Investigation ban reason is usually given for 1 of 2 reasons (or both in some cases): 1. To remove an immediate threat from the account/game. A TMOD example of this is if an account is suspected to have been hacked, it will be banned immediately for investigation and to create a line of contact with account owner (if they weren't already aware of the risk) to ensure they reset the password before continuing to play. This also protects the account from any more damage, if there was any, and the risk of irreversible damage. 2. Not all evidence/details can be found without speaking to the player directly. This means the investigation/evidence at the time of banning is not complete. In some cases, you will need to speak to the player directly to confirm aspects of the story. This is especially common in Rank Boosting and Scams, so I'll give examples of those. To give a couple examples in relation to Rank Boosting - if an account is shared and it is unclear if the infraction was made by the account owner or another player whilst using the account, or multiple players play from the same internet connection, etc. This may also happen in Boosting where a player chooses to accept a battle from a player on the same IP (not against the rules but recommended against because it will be investigated), a guildie, or seems to be boosting/boosted by a specific player - given the data Staff use to investigate, it is very hard to concretely determine the intent of these matchups, and often has to be clarified verbally with all involved players. An example of where this would happen in a Scam case, quite often players don't agree all aspects of the trade agreement upfront (this is why there was new trade rules added, and existing trade rules were given extra details). An extremely common example is when the duration of a lend hasn't been specified, from the reported evidence, it's clear that both players understand that it is a lend, but maybe the lendee has now had it for 2 weeks and the lender feels that is excessive and they want it back. The lendee will be banned for investigation, to determine whether they were just keeping the Pokemon for an extended amount of time, were too busy to return it, just plainly forgot etc, or if their intention was to steal and keep the Pokemon for good - this would not be possible without a line of communication to the player. --- Hi @8294ayush For your questions 1 and 2 - firstly, I apologise if you have ever felt that your appeal process has taken longer than necessary, especially if it was as excessive as 25 days. There are a lot of reasons for this, but there are 3 big ones that I will share with you. The first being that the ban issued was an Investigation ban - more detail on this is in my response to Ishan2020 above - but in short, if there is adequate evidence to suggest an immediate risk to an account or the game, the bulk of the investigation will take place after the ban, since in a high risk case the priority is to reduce the amount of damage and to prevent as much irreversible damage as possible. Depending on the case, the amount of time this takes varies - I have personally worked on Account Hack or RMT cases that have taken over a week (where a huge number of accounts were involved), meaning that all of my other work backs up too in the meantime. Which leads me onto the second reason: that there is something higher priority going on, again, this happens in cases where there is an immediate risk or threat to an account or the game. Staff workloads aren't publicly available for the community to see, but to put it clearly, if I am made aware that there is a mass account hack happening, I will drop everything I am working on to remove any immediate risks, then I will pick up my normal workload again after. Quite simply, sometimes there is just something more important and demands the time and attention, and I wish there was enough time or number of hands to prevent it having a huge knock on effect, which leads me onto my third reason: is that sometimes there just isn't enough hours in the day, or enough staff members to do the job. Prior to Jhizen joining the team, and Qeight returning, for a good deal of time the GM team consisted of just me and Senrosia. I'm sure you may roll your eyes when you read this, but this reason is given often because it's true: all staff members volunteer, they're not paid, staff do this outside of real life commitments, and real life will come first. Despite knowingly signing up for this work, the amount can be too much for the size of the Moderation team. I'll use myself as an example here to explain more clearly. Outside of PRO, I work a full-time job. There are some days I would only have had 1-2 hours available to spend on PRO, so I would spend this time doing the higher priority things first, which means that the number of cases I had but also the amount of time since I had last dealt with a particular case both increase, at one point I had 120+ active (by active I mean current and waiting on reply) cases - even if I had given each 10 minutes a day (which often isn't enough), that was a minimum of 20 hours worth of work, and it's not like once you've spent those 10 minutes that it's done for good and off your plate, the player replies, you investigate their reply, etc, it's a cycle until the case is closed, and if I only have 1-2 hours each day from Monday-Friday, that's an impossible workload to manage that is fair to everyone, and that's just appeals alone. Now I understand this is an extreme example, coming from a former GM who at the time was part of a team of two people - but the reality I want to share is that if the staff member has the time, they will give you the time, if they don't, they won't have it to give. The only real fix for these problems is to have more staff members, but this is not as easy as it sounds. You must find people who are skilled, willing and are doing it for the right reasons. The right reasons are important because being staff is stressful, and if you aren't motivated by the right things, you won't last more than a couple months. The number of good applications that fit this criteria is low. You must then train these individuals, and during this period this is often where Staff will find that maybe the Apprentice isn't suitable, or maybe the Apprentice decides that this isn't actually for them. It is a known problem, however I would like to point out that the number of appeals that go more than a couple days without response are low, and it's usually GM/Admin cases that take the longest since those groups also have the most diverse roles with the most work to do, but are also the smallest teams because of the criteria to be promoted into one of these roles. I understand the frustration, but for the times response rates are an issue, there isn't a simple or quick fix. For question 3, again I apologise if you feel that this has happened to you. If you feel that a member of Moderation is being rude or unfair to you in your appeal, you can make a Complaint, where a Team Lead or Admin will review the behaviour of the mod and act accordingly. There is a line between being firm in order to find out the facts in a clear and concise way, and being rude. You absolutely shouldn't have to put up with the latter, even if you have broken the rules. I hope that this helps both of you and others with the same questions, but if it is unclear, or you have further questions you are more than welcome to ask. Edit: @ShadowDanny - I have just seen you have mentioned a couple of the points I have addressed above. I hope that this also helps you too, same goes for you if you have any questions you want to ask.4 points

you forget there are people on both sides of the screen. the people complaining about prehax have said much worse to others. i get you want to stick it to "the man" but that doesn't exist in this situation. staff have zero incentive or requirement to hold themselves to a higher standard when speaking casually. people simultaneously treat staff with ridiculous deference while complaining about staff egos they inflate themselves. id say that players should treat staff like other players but frankly a not insignificant amount of this community treats other people terribly, so i guess ill just say that everyone should be respectful but not deferential to each other, regardless of whether or not that person is staff. would go a long way towards bridging that gap.4 points

Heyho, I'd like to pick up on a couple of points that will most likely need a more detailed answer and will receive that from Keita later on. I think it's a shame what is made of such an opportunity. Many players have expressed that they feel misunderstood and ignored in the past. Because of that, Keita has created the opportunity to publicly address one's own opinions, ideas and problems. Instead of taking advantage of this opportunity that many have asked for, it is used to insult and corner others. Prehax and many other staffs - I count myself among them - have made mistakes in the past. But to see that players that have been handled with soft gloves complain about staff abuse is quite disappointing. There were players with more than ten infractions handled by several staffs that called him out for staff abuse while they should have been banned way earlier according to our punishment policy, along with a candidate that used third-party software and got a second chance because of his long playtime. Of course you are free to complain about Prehax and other staffs, but then please do it properly. Name points, express constructive criticism and make suggestions for improvements. A fundamentally aggressive attitude will not get us any further. This counts to both staffs and players. Furthermore, I would like to shed some light on the "ignored" suggestions. We read all of the suggestions posted in the forum. It's just insanely time consuming to answer every thread. Once we plan to implement a suggestion we will add it to the dev to-do list. There are weeks when I work on PRO for over 12 hours a day. The players often do not notice a lot of this, as it is often about changes that are not visible to the end user but are necessary. PRO was at a point for a very long time where you could no longer work with the code. This applies to both client and server code. That was because the top priority was to do something that the players can see without considering the further negative effects it would have. You should all keep in mind how much happened over the past two years. Don't just hold onto the negative. There will be more progress that we can all look forward to.3 points

@Qeight i have a question to you. You dont play PRO, i mean u can log into ur acc sometimes, but never to actually play the game itself. You know, more than half of the community dont like you, and also u dont like the community back (or a big part of it), so my question is: Why, why u still around? whats the reason for it? just curious tbh.3 points

Concern First of all, thanks for letting us share our concerns, i'm going into the obvious one, the treatment between certain staffs and players. We all know that how Qeight treat us players with incredibly rudeness, the issue is not just that (as if being treated like [heck]/dumb and other insults towards the community was small thing), but sometimes we see in pro discord ban threats. As far as i imagine, this is totally unacceptable, the lack of respect when someone does a question about something they DON'T UNDERSTAND, it's apparent, i will say that for myself, but every time i see this happening, i feel less and less motivated to speak in pro discord or even play pro. i'm a 2k +hours player and the fear of being punished (banned) because i said something a staff disliked it's bigger than my will to play. Another concern, but also a suggestion would be, don't let staff, being in game or discord that had troubles with certain players, to give their "opinion" about an infraction. That is totally based on emotion therefore, makes the judgment clouded and personal instead of technical. For a GM, the infraction can be a 2 hours mute, to the one with grudge will be worth of a ban, I myself was almost victim of that kind of judgment, and it's totally not fair. Suggestion 1- Allow players to vote about the behavior of certain moderation to ensure the staff will hear us in a faster way, like an instant open public feedback. 2- Do something about not only users but moderators, that pretend that do not see offenses, homophobic comments, body shaming comments, xenophobic (offense towards ethnic groups) comments. 3- Punish the ones that provoke severely and a small warn to those who DEFEND themselves. We're often seeing the attacked ones being punished for defending their honor. 4- Try to stop the "protection culture" where, a staff says the complaint of a player towards another member of staff is wrong, if one player expressed it's concern usually there are many others who agree but don't have the courage to do so. 5- Put a recruitment based on minimum Age (hard to do but it's about free time and maturity). Thanks :RemVV:3 points

It looks like sometimes, a certain staff member feels obliged to insult or to reply in a condescending way to players. Without targetting him/her, I would like to know why you hired him/her again and why he/she isn't fired.3 points

Wow, 10 pages already. I apologize, I simply do not have the time to read everything so if I repeat something others have already said, then at least its known they are not alone in their thoughts or opinions. The time it takes for players to get an appeal started / replied to is too long. Staff need to be held to a higher standard and trained how to communicate with the community. And for f***'s sake, get some consistency in your rules across platforms. I specifically avoided using names or references because these are general issues that have plagued player-staff relations for a very long time. I would be shocked if Admins were not aware of these issues and do not have any sort of references or knowledge about them. That would be truly a disappointment, because as far as I know, Admins are ultimately responsible for fixing them. Its sad to see an entire thread needing to be created in a manner like this, but when you allow staff to treat the community so poorly, you should not be caught off guard by the magnitude of complaints being made.2 points
-
While that may be what u'd expect in a more common-sense reality, player perspective is different in every single game in existance, staff is viewed as a collective, meaning what one does defines everyone else atleast on a basis. For example ; Oh this staff said this to this person, its extremely rude and should be removed, staff doesnt get removed, oh he didnt get removed then all staff must think the same thing and boom, you have a nice little stigma on your hands for god knows how many months to clean up. And in all honesty, these behaviours from both sides does not help the situation one bit, rather damages it further. Now the problem with the "mightier-than-thou" did indeed happen at one point and unfortunately it stuck, even though the people that acted that way are gone now. Which is in itself idiotic to blame people for something that they are not responsible for but it is what it is, the question everyone should ask themselves is quite simple, what do you want. Do you wish to improve the quality of the game? Do you wish to improve relations between staff and players? While many would say yes, barely a handful of people try to behave in a way that would enable such a thing. As such, the solution is really easy, if you wish to be a part of a solution, stop being the problem. (you = generalization)2 points

just rename this topic to prehax hate thread already y'all ask for more communication from staff, he communicates his opinions and doesn't veil them behind diplomatic language - is this not the transparency people ask for? his dismissiveness of opinions he doesnt agree with is the primary issue between staff and players? please. not everyone is good at putting on a fake smile and lying to your face that they'll "think about it." makes perfect sense why others avoid interacting with this community like the plague. good riddance.2 points

This thread is just a waste, if your staff team aka q8 can't even see where he is wrong and why people dislike the gm then close the thread instead just like all the other ones. These issue have been since i started on my first account in 2018 and here we are again with another thread that will solve literally nothing, but whatever.2 points

In every community, there are problematic people who tarnish by themselves the reputation of the whole community. The PRO staff member community is not an exception of this rule. In my opinion, 99% of the staff members are making a really good job, taking the good decisions, are reactive and really cool with players. This is very important to say, most of you guy are really making a geat job. BUT the 1% left drag down the staff reputation with their really contestable actions. And when I say 1%, I personnally have one person in mind. To not target toward a specific staffmember, I will not give names but let's use a nickname and call him "Mister P.". Mister P. is hated by a large majority of PRO players. Power abusing, insulting, condescending comments against players etc... always playing with the limits. A lot of people are complaining about him. The bad behavior of Mister P. impacts the reputation of staff members. So my question is simple : Why Mister P. is not fired yet ? Suggestion : If you have many complains about one specific staff member, make a democratic poll and let the PRO players take the decision.2 points

Edit: I made a mistake and didnt put the context in the above pictures. Im sorry for that, because apparently its ok as pro staffer to insult people and use bad language if they post 'stupid' stuff. If you want the full context, please search this stuff in the pro discord and only then make yoursef a opinion on it. No idea why many people dont like staff, abselutely no idea. Sadly the impact of a few loud have also impact of all other staffs, the generalization happens pretty fast. Its smt natural in a humans brain. Imagine you are new to the game and this is the first impression of staff. I only have screens from him because its current, the most obvious and I didnt had to search long. But there are also other staffs which lost their good tone a couple of times. Its obvious that there are many players much worse than that, but as staffer you should always have a bit proffesionalism - no matter if they talk with someone who does the same. I also read many appeals from my friends, because their english is not so well for example. And its crazy how unfriendly and snootily staffs answere there (but also not only there) sometimes. They missunderstand stuff and dont even say sorry afterwards for example. Its not a crime to say that you are wrong in some points - some staff members completely refuse to do that sometimes. Ofc many people dont trust staff about game content announcements, even when many additions are good, they often getting not as much appreciated because they got announced to be published long times ago or with the publishing the server starts crashing much more often. Corsi island is also a example. PRO summer tour 2020. I advise anyone new to not expect much from changes, and that no eta defenitely doesnt has to mean 'soon'. Exclude the totally disgusting server crashes, the game actually makes fun and is cool content wise, but with all those impressions its hard to believe myself. There is a bit more but in the end it sums up in those 2 main points. So, for me its no wonder that players (at least for many that I know including myself) dont really trust many staffers and I cant disagree that some staff members act like ... not staff members to word it kindly, which has impact how you see the whole team.2 points

I noticed some staff are very quick to ban, sometimes with no warning, but take ages to handle appeals. Why? I would like to suggest that, if you are gonna ban someone, why not make sure to be around to handle the appeal in the same day? Or at least before the temporary ban ends, preferable within a week after banning. PRO have lots of mods, it doesn't seem to be an impossible request. Another question: Why can't I request another mod to handle my appeals if I don't trust the one doing so? I noticed poor behaviour from one of the staff and wish not to have this staff handling my appeal. And I requested that, he closed the appeal. Lemme know if you want me to name them. Also, why are staff allowed to call players "idiot" or taunt them? I saw Teerav quoting something said by a staff, and he was taunted and called stupid for that. They also avoided talking about the relevant subject Teerav quoted. Other staff ganked in to defend the staff. Pretty immature behaviour. Was something done about it? Or is it just allowed? Lemme know if you want screenshots. If the majority of the players do not appreciate how a staff is treating us or handling situations, will something be done about it? Or are we going to be ignored? Will this thread be another one of those to let players express themselves but nothing will be done about it? Please, lemme know before keep investing time in this game. Thank you for your time.2 points

This is something i have been very vocal about for a while, but have never made a thread about it. So here it is I find this "mechanic" to be very unhealthy for the game, not only by how it makes pvp less fun, but it also encourages pvpers to not play multiple games in a row, or change their teams after every match to avoid getting either counter teamed/getting the same (bad) matchup again. The latter is especially annoying, its not a matter of just playing it better, some matchups are just polarizing to the point of *forcing you* to change teams. Changing teams after a match is NOT something thats very plausible in an MMO setting, this is especially true for newer players who have just finished their only team and are trying to get their foot in the door of the pvp scene. In some cases, this could be a "good thing" allowing you to "farm" a new player over and over for free rating and coins, this may be a "good" thing for one person, but the person on the receiving end is almost certainly not having fun. I would suspect some new players have given up on pvp solely because they queue up into the same ladder player over and over For someone like me, this mechanic is just HORRIBLE for content creation. I was trying to record a 45 minute video the other day and got the same person 4 times in a row. Obviously fighting the same person 4x in a row isnt something a lot of people would like to watch, so I always only include 1 battle. This 45 minute recording session turned into a 3 hour session of boring hell, and completely ruined my mood for the rest of the video. Now, since i bring this up a lot i hear these 2 arguments against changing this mechanic. First is usually "this is a thing in many other games too" I dont find this to be a good argument at all, mostly for the reasons i stated above. It encourages you to play a different team every game, which is not a viable way to get around this in an MMO setting like ours, hunting/buying/preparing full teams takes a long time, its not something you can do overnight. And "it would make queue times too long" I do not think this would have an impact on the ladder queue at all, again for the reason i stated above. The current system encourages you to only play few games per day, at peak hours to ensure you get the most diversity possible. And even if this does impact the pvp queue times, theres a very simple solution. Make finding the same person 2x in a row an optional setting. Also something i didnt even think of, this would help stop boosters. Thanks for reading, have a nice day, let me know your thoughts on this.1 point

Hello, 666g0d999. Thank you for your suggestion, but please use the Suggestions subforum in the future. PvP cosmetics and mounts are not intended to be tradable, so I will take your suggestion as if you meant PvE items. This was one of the topics that came up in our discussion. You are correct that there should be an easier way to tell what PvE items are tradable each month and which ones are not, since, as you say, not everyone has access to or uses Discord. I will forward your suggestion to our Content Scripters to see if we can make it easier for players to distinguish tradable and untradable items. However, there may not be a method to do so. Either way, I will let you know.1 point

I don’t think allowing players to vent out their anger is a good thing in battle chat, or any chat to be honest. The game follows strict rules and has a Punishment Policy that affects all the chats. I do agree on the fact that PvP causes rage, I did pvp myself so I can definitely agree, but PvP rage can be very, very toxic. Mods follow the rules/policy given to them, if they interpret it offending, they will punish. Mods follow a punishment policy as guidance, if (like I mentioned before) interpret it as offending, they will punish. (Lots of them aren’t angels either, as in the players) Like I said, I understand that PvP causes anger, but venting it out in a PUBLIC chat isn’t an ideal way of doing that. The rules apply to everyone and exception shouldn’t really be made. I mean, he’s right though It would make more sense for them to argue, but let’s be honest. You just lost your pvp game to a FlinchHaxer, a RNG-god, you missed 90% of your moves. After such things I don’t think that it’ll just stay with arguing, let’s be honest? Hope I cleared up some stuff, I do hope that someone from the Mod-Team joins and leaves an opinion aswell!1 point

DISCLAIMER I am not making this thread to hate/slander any staff in PRO, so please do not take this the wrong way Please do not feel bad if you are the staff, that you know I am talking about. Its all for the well being of the game Alright, I am writing this thread, for obviously Player-Staff-Relationship!!... and well... things aren't looking too good for PRO at the moment. Player-Staff-Relationship?: Ok lets start off saying the PSR is not good in this game. I am not saying its terrible, but its not just good to put it nicely. Lets start off the with the facts, shall we? 1. Why does it take so much time for the staffs to reply our appeals? Ok... so this is a major problem I hate in PRO and it is the fact that when a staff mute/bans you and you make an appeal, you are pretty much guaranteed not to get answered in a week or so. I always assumed that before a staff mute/bans a player, they would have made a report stating why they banned the player and their infraction/punishment. But no, this does not seem to be the case, as sometimes when you asked a staff what did you do, they say you-know-what-you-did ( I don't know, thats why I am asking). This is a big problem as if a player does not get some type of reply, they get frustrated, angry and most importantly, sad. I know the staffs volunteered for this work and don't get payed, but show some dedication at least. If you mute/ban someone, get your facts ready because you know the person is going to appeal and this will make the appeal go smoother and more organized if you already have the facts. 2. Why do MODS not talk much in general chat in PRO?: Maybe some people are happy about this, because it gives them a little more freedom to talk, but.... I hardly see any MODS in general PRO chat. I know they are there, because how else would they know when you did something wrong, to mute/ban you, if nobody reported you. Its a volunteer work and all that.... but honestly that saying 'Its a Volunteer work, we have other things to do' is sounding less than a reason and more of an excuse. I just feel if MODS talked a little more in general chat, and interacted with us a bit more, then I feel the community would be much nicer. 3. The Excuse: This is just a straight-up thing I also hate in PRO and its the fact that, If we make a complain like 'Why do they take so much time to answer appeals' Your immediate answer is, 'This is a volunteer work, we have other things to deal with.' Yes, it is a volunteer work that you *signed* up for, meaning they were certain requirements to be met when you applied. Just because you volunteered for this does not mean because you don't get paid, you show little-to-no dedication to what you applied for. I just feel that the staffs should be more honest, like: I was busy with other appeals, sorry to have not replied to you soon enough. If Staffs can say this, it gives the players assurity that they care, and next time they do make appeals, the players would be more understanding if the Staffs don't reply them on time. 4. Staffs are unkind?: This is does not even apply to majority of staff, just 1 and maybe 2 people. Most staffs love to make their power shown, by taunting us, jabbing us, calling us idiots, acting so unprofessional and sometimes even swearing. If this is not bad enough, if you jab them back, rest assured your account will be Special banned next day. Thats just how I see 1 or 2 staffs act... anyway, I just feel that a little bit patience will not hurt anyone. We all are growing up, and majority of the staffs think that PRO is a 18+ game and everyone should be mature and not do anything wrong... Im just going to let you guys figure this whole mess out. 5. Oh did we think we were done?: Oh no, ANOTHER thing staffs do I feel is kind of unfair to players, is that whether or not you got falsely banned or not, you are immediately blacklisted as someone the staffs should instantly ban if you even step a toe out of line. But Im like... WHAT IS THIS? Sometimes you see trolls insulting players, calling them names I don't even know the meaning... but if I say ST U ( I would let you figure out what the other word is supposed to be), they totally ignore the guy who has been calling us names and all that and they turn their attention to me and ban me... This just shows they don't act even 1% professional and they do what they want based on their emotions. How do I know they don't punish this other player? BECAUSE, he will still come back the next day and start all over... and me probably being muted or banned for swearing, is just thinking to myself look at these clowns. 6. I might make a 2 page essay at this point: Look, the staffs do not have major problems, just 3-4 problems that most staff do all the time, however this would not be fair, without bashing the players would it. So to all PRO players listening please: Try not to judge all staffs based on your experience with just 1 of these many staffs. Try to be understanding that they did actually volunteer for this and not to be so entitled that they should answer you first And lastly, read the rules before playing the game so that even if you do not like a staff, do not break the rules and you won't bother each other PS: I just wanted to say this thread is not to bash on any staff, heck we got staffs like: Keita, Cames, Monteria, Tinvinn, the homies you know , and we got other staff (s).... #Soloisnothanbutanantis1 point

You can say what you want, opinions are like assholes. Everyone has one but you don't need to show it around 24/7 and looking at this, just makes me think your opinion as I said doesn't matter to me. As I said I could care less for it didn't reply or ask for it. Me and the other person can agree to disagree stop tagging me have a great one.1 point

Before I continue replying people, I would like to remind you that this is a place where you ask things and Administration team answer to them with the most transparency. If you think you can fight each other here, then you just fail to understand the whole point this thread exists. Stop to fight each other, just ask things (to staff) or voice out your concerns (respectfully). This won't be tolerated.1 point

@Shinohara You know the main reason why the player - staff relation is going down hill. Not just that, even the motivation of staff in general. Which leads to less motivation to interact in the first place. Everything shown here and posted on pro discord is nothing different than what happens in the staff circle itself and its no secret why it happens. The only real question is how long will it continue, until there are changes or until its too late?1 point

Hmm, correct me if im wrong, but some of this gap between staffers and players was caused by Q8. ofc not just him, but he is one of the reasons, so i think its a valide point to ''target'' him. Yes he clearly replies back, most times very directly and blunt. but, insta locks the topic, not allowing you to reply back. he simply decides when to lock the topic, without giving you a chance to reply to his reply.1 point

good luck getting someone banned because they called you stupid1 point

This just goes to show the sheer ignorance. I never mentioned Pre and my problems lie somewhere else, yet you have no problem to brush EVERYBODY together. Diplomatic language? You mean the same language you expect from players, regardless of the context? If someone rips me off and I call him an idiot, all he has to do is make a screenshot and report me - I will get banned. But if a staff member uses that kind of language, regardless of the context, nothing happens and she should just swallow it. Makes perfect sense. :rolleyes:1 point

Ehi there @Madtrainer I am unsure about who told you that there won't be a Summer Event this year, but that's wrong! Our content team is working on a Summer Event, like every other year. We will announce to community when it will be released ! As for other events during the year, there will always be new one and I doubt PRO will ever stop to create new content. I cannot reveal you anything, but the biggest one of the year should be during the Christmas period so keep yourself ready ! - Keita1 point

Hi there @Nyong Your question lack of context, so I am not really sure about how to address that. I will in any case assume you are talking about appeals, as that's where the threads gets the longest to be replied in some situation. Please, make sure to correct me if you meant something different. The answer is here simply that the time necessary for an appeal to be answered is based on the kind of punishment the user received and in general the situation the user found himself (intentionally or not). I will make you two examples in order to make it easier: Example one: PlayerA starts to insult PlayerB telling them "You are a fucking retarded idiot". Staff intervened The situation in this case is really clear, there's not much to think about cause the infraction is evident and there is not really a need for big investigation if not small one (e.g check chat log to see further recent, and not reported, behaviour OR previous punishment history/connections). Therefore, what staff will do is simply issue a punishment. This punishment is generally a Quiet Ban that mute the user from all the game chats for X days, unless user got many punishments already and therefore goes to the next step directly that is either a temporary ban from the whole game or a permanent one. When the banned user will appeal the ban, it will be really fast for the simple reason that everything is already clear and honestly even easy to handle. What staff will check in the appeal is simply if the user understood why he got punished, if he regret it and understood from it. If appeal is successful, the ban will be reduced (not removed entirely unless first infraction), exception made when you have reached your 8th punishment when at that point there is just no way to get unbanned. Example two: PlayerA starts to sell their account goods in change of real-life money (EUR/USD just to give an example). He sells 500.000 pokedollars and 9 pokemon to 10 different users. Yes, what just described looks incredibly messed up, however that's how 95% of the RMT cases are. In this case what we do in the first place is banning all the seller accounts (obviously) and then start to check all his trade logs of all his accounts from A to Z (even past one that might be 1 year before the RMT happened) to find every single user he sold the items to, and the trades that looks suspicious and investigate them. Now that we handled the seller, it's time for the buyers. Who bought from PlayerA(seller) is potentially involved in other RMTs, we cannot know until we find. So GM will go and check all the trade logs of the buyers cause maybe the buyer decided to move the bought goods on his alt accounts to hide them. Now lets suppose that the buyer has 3 accounts, this means that GM will have to go and check all the trades and connections in those 3 accounts where maybe the user did hundred trades in his game-life. Multiply that for the 10 different buyers and each buyer has 2-3 accounts (even if, as staff, most of the rmters have even more than 3-4), this means you will have to check all the trades and connections of 25-35 accounts (seller included). In the end, during the appeal, the user will be asked to be honest and cooperative and we will have to verify everything he says with the data we obtained. We are pretty kind during appeals, to my opinion, to the point where people deny even speedhacking despite they do that in front of other 50 players and get reported by 10 of them but we still give them more chances to be honest so we can offer them another chance. You can understand from here that from a simple infraction like "You are a fucking retarded idiot" committed on a single account TO a RMT case (a single one) where you have to check 30 and more accounts, the different is as huge as the mount everest. Few months ago, our GMs found a mass RMTer group that had sold more than 800 millions pokedolalrs in total and the account to check were more than 155. In the end, not less important, is that Staff Members are volunteers (not paid) and therefore are active for their duties only during their free time. However, to clarify, this doesn't mean they can do whatever they want and be online whenever they want, as we have strict standards when it comes to staff activity that we want staff to follow. This cause even if you are a volunteer that doesn't mean you have to put/have less efficiency, organization and professionalism than any other job since no one forced staff members to join staff but they decided to volunteer themselves. I hope this make it clear why some appeal are replied before than others. Please, let me know if you meant anything else or if there is any part of it that is unclear !1 point

I feel like the best way to actually communicate with the staff team about the game is the Suggestions Subforum (or at least it should be) but Suggestions almost never get answered or only get a 1 sentence answer. I know the staff team and esspecially the developers are insanly busy but some Suggestions still deserve a proper answer. We are told to always voice our opinions and make suggestions but if they never get answered in a proper way it just does not feel right. I have been told multiple times that all suggestions are being read but there is no time to give proper answers most of the time. While I can understand that to a certain extend I think there needs to be a better solution for that. For example there could be a monthly stream where suggestions are being looked into and discussed. If that is not possible because of some reasons maybe it would be possible to discuss about some suggetions within the staff team and then give a decent answer to the Suggestion Thread. If there are other reasons why suggestions rarely get answered please share these reasons with us so we can understand it.1 point
