Hello, I've been thinking this for a while now. What do you guys think about customized Pokeballs such as Rocket, Magma, Aqua and so on Pokeballs? I thought about adding Boxes similar to the current Mystery Boxes where you could get 10-15 custom Pokeballs (of the same Pokeball). They wouldn't have a higher catch rate or something like this. If you have better ideas how to add them I all ear, nothing is set in stone yet! I am absolute not sure if that's something players actually want so please us your opinion. They could look like this or similar to it:22 points

I neither agree or disagree to this, it would be a great feature to introduce, however there can be counter arguments for why its noy needed. -> due to the frequent server crashes (which can happen anytime even im future) alot of people would be worried and go for the safe option and use a Master ball on event forms or Legendary pokémon found (so if anyone is thinking about using their custom balls they'd have to think twice). -> When it comes to find a basic T8 mon in the wild I'd personally opt for using a false swiper/putting to sleep and use a regular pokeball and eventually after a few balls thrown it will eventually be caught, not knowing how these balls will be obtained, the idea of using a regular pokeball seems like a better value for money and time. Not saying that these balls shouldn't be added at all but those were my counter arguments to why maybe they shouldn't be added as I feel like they won't be frequently used and a waste of time and effort when the artists could be probably work on something else. -> Adding Myestry pokeball boxes is a bad idea ngl, not worth the coins. Pokeballs get used up even if the wild pokémon doesn't get caught. I'd rather spend coins on cosmetics However if they do get added I'd like to suggest the following places: -> usage of Apricorns: Pink Apricorns (Team Rocket balls), Blue Apricorns (Team Aqua balls) and Red Apricorns (Team Magma Balls) for example. -> Bosses: I'd like to see a custom ball which has the same catch rate as a Masterball (100%) added to unique/double bosses, obviously make the chances of obtaining this custom ball low. The bosses I'd recommend for are Battle Bot, Pewdie & Dipey, Shary & Shaui, Medusa & Eldir and Terminator Boss. -> BCC 3 custom balls in the colour scheme of Mega Beedrill, Mega Heracross and Mega Pinsir -> Guild Island Top 10 guilds that month get to purchase a custom guild ball from a special vendor on the island, the balls price will be the same as a regular pokeball and it's catchrate will be the same, the only thing that needs to be done from the guild leader is to send a rough concept of their guilds ball to an artist to make the work easier for them, if they wish to get the ball changed they'd have to get in top 10 guild ladder again and send a new concept pokeball to the artist. Guilds can obviously choose to keep their pokeball the same and don't need to change it if they like it ingame. That's all I can think of now, this is just my own personal opinion on things. Hope you can agree and enjoy2 points

I just want to give opinion about the current boxes. hlw boxes or Mystery Boxes are currently designed so poorly which make ppl don't have any excitement while opening those items. the price is ok but what inside those boxes are completely trash. Why don't we have a better boxes with better items and better RNG. ppl love hunting because of RNG, RNG is fun and addicted. So why we can't have a box with unique skins, clothes, mounts (smt that worth mils of poke$ on market)...etc even though 90% of other items are trash. A mount with 0,1% to get through box is also a nice idea2 points

Good idea. But also, I feel like it's not even possible to encounter the bug on the test server, because of how limited and confined it is. There is nothing to do but pvp and battle lvl 2-6 in grass. There is nowhere to go. No way to even challenge "boss" I think we need more options to even be able to have a chance. Test town is way too limited and small in my opinion. I think test server needs to have all the bosses added, and as many npcs as possible that are in the real game world. Like pve and pvp vendor and a safari, dig spots, repel hunts, quests. All kinds of things are missing from test town.2 points

INTRODUCTION - (Make sure to open the spoilers) - Lets get straight to the point, Excavation Sites need an update. The last big change to Excavation Sites was about 1 1/2 years ago, so the spawns and features have been very stale for quite some time already. Now I know that scripters and other staff members are extremly busy and try their best to get out new content like events, megastone-quests and much more but I still want to put out this suggestion as Excavation Sites are a great PvE task you can do from time to time or even daily which makes the game much more enjoyable for a lot of players. I dont want Excavation Sites to be forgotten and since the question about new spawns etc. keeps getting repeated on every previous Q&A-Stream, this thread can also serve as some sort of a platform for everyone to share their ideas and opinions on this topic. Maybe if all the megastone-quests are done there is some time to make some changes to the Excavation Sites. TL;DR SPAWNS & ITEMS Credits for some provided ideas Change Pokemon Spawns Straight to the most important thing regarding Excavation Sites, the Spawns. The Spawns have not been changed for a long time and it is simply not fun nor rewarding to catch the same pokemon over and over again. Previous changes introduced outbreak- and event-exclusive pokemon which make certain pokemon very special and hard to obtain. Adding some of these to Excavation Sites would be a first step to make them very interesting and rewarding again while still keeping them balanced as there are only a limited number of spawns you can get daily. Events and Outbreaks which have these pokemon as spawns would still be special as you can hunt them actively on these. Other pokemon got more attractive recently as well. With the introduction of their mega-evolution some previously ignored pokemon became relevant and most of these would make a very good addition to Excavation Sites. Another thing I want to suggest are pokemon which are exclusive to Excavation Sites like new Gen7 pokemon, as this would raise them to another level of interest. TL;DR Balancing the Spawns I dont know exactly how the spaw-mechanics etc. work but I tried to suggest the spawns in a way to make them somewhat balanced while keeping the theme of the different Excavation Sites. However the suggested changes are obviously not perfect and probably need more in-depth balancing. I would suggest to keep/add very good and exclusive spawns to the Excavation Sites and to balance the cooldown or the entry-costs instead. By increasing the cooldown or the entry-costs instead of the actual spawns Excavation Sites will feel exciting and worth while doing them. TL;DR Spawn Change Suggestions (Note: These are just examples to give some ideas for spawn changes, feel free to share your thoughts and ideas in the comments) Credits for some ideas on the spawn changes and source for provided data Feral Site Historical Site Haunted Site Mineral Site Glacial Site Natural Site Wondrous Site Briny Site Draconic Site Changes to available items First of all Fossils fit well into Excavation Sites and can even be synched with an NPC in the Historical Site. Revival Herbs are always useful for rather new players and can still be useful to more advanced players as they can be used on quests, events, leveling pokemon etc. While Heal and Energy Powder may be useful to a certain extend to newer players, they feel like a waste for most of the playerbase after a while. I would suggest to change them to items which are pretty much always needed and useful like Vitamins (Protein, Iron, HP Up etc.) or make Heal and Energy Powder exchangable for Artifact pieces. I think the previous change which added different rare items (Rare Bone, Nuggets, Pearls etc.) in the different Excavation Sites was not thought through well enough as less-valuable items are more common and make it harder to encounter pokemon because of that while valuable items are too rare to have an impact. Therefor less-valuable items should be removed and replaced with more valuable items. That way its less likely to find items and more likely to actually encounter rare pokemon. Since the different items seem to have different drop-rates I suggest to replace all items with the same item for every Excavation Site to make it more balanced. Replacing all the items with a Nugget seems to make the most sense as it has a decent value and is not found too often which makes it more likely to encounter a pokemon. The chance for a Big Nugget should be increased as its near impossible to find it (I personally found only one while increasing my Excavation Rank from 10.000 to 36.000+). This makes achieving an Excavation Rank of 10.000 to unlock the Draconic Site and that particular Excavation Site less worth and that is a clear balance-issue in my opinion. To give some further insight regarding this, @JustLegend did some research on Excavation Sites some time ago. The data he collected shows that 47 Tiny Mushrooms and 0 Big Nuggets were found after 28 days of doing every Excavation Site. Because of this it is somewhat harder to encounter pokemon in the Haunted Site which is another balance-issue. Make sure to check out his thread for more in-depth data regarding Excavation Sites. Credits for provided data TL;DR Changes to Artifact Pieces Store For most of the time my personal experience with the Artifact Pieces shop has been that I would only buy Focus Sashes as these are the most valuable items you can get and they are rather easy to sell. Most other items are not worth their price, are not needed or have other sources you can get them from easily. To give Artifact Pieces a better use I suggest to lower some prices in a balanced way to make it worth buying other items than focus sashes and a few other items. Balancing prices and available items is not easy by any means but I tried to come up with fair prices based on a calculation. To understand the suggested Artifact Pieces prices and that calculation you need to know some numbers. For a full Excavation Site run we end up with an average of 64 Artifact pieces (I used 60 for cleaner calculations) and a Focus Sash costs 6 Artifact pieces and sells for about 2.000 - 2.500 Pokedollar (I used 2.000 Pokedollar for the calcuation). Buying 10 Focus Sashes for 60 Artifact Pieces and selling them for 2.000 Pokedollar each leads to a daily profit of 20.000 pokedollars. Example of the calcuation based on a Reroll Ticket: -> Reroll Ticket (2.250) -> 750.000 / 20.000 = 37.5 -> 37.5 x 60 = 2.250 -> Reroll Ticket (2.250) -> 750.000 (Current average price of a Reroll Ticket) / 20.000 (daily profit from selling Focus Sashes) = 37.5 (days to purchase a Reroll Ticket from another player if selling the Focus Sashes daily) -> 37.5 x 60 (Artifact Pieces gained daily from a full Excavation Sites run) = 2.250 (price of a Reroll Ticket in Artifact Pieces) The goal is to end up with item prices which are somewhat balanced in a way that makes the items worth buying instead of selling the Focus Sashes and buying the desired items from another source. Fossils: I dont know why Omanytes and Kabutos Fossils are not available yet but I would suggest to add them as they are the only missing Fossils. I think the prices for Fossils are too expensive overall but I did not change them too much since I dont know if there is some in-depth balancing behind that and the fact that they are untradable. Vitamins: Adjusted the prices so you are able to buy 10 Vitamins after a full Excavation Sites run. Consumables: Adding certain items like Reroll Tickets to the Artifact Pieces Shop makes Excavation Sites even more lucrative. However I did not suggest more random items to keep the theme of the Excavation Sites alive for the most part but I think Reroll Tickets can be a very good addition as they serve as a more or less long-term-goal players can work for. Battle Items: Adjusted the prices based on the explained calculation. I did not suggest additional items as the already existing ones fit the Excavation Sites them perfectly well. TM Moves: Adjusted the prices based on the explained calculation and added the TM for Substitute since it is only available in Trainers Valley so far. Gems: Adjusted the prices so you are able to buy 10 Gems after a full Excavation Sites run. It could be considered to lower the prices even further given the Gems cheap price in Pokedollars and easy obtainability on dig spots but they can be used on the Recycle NPC as well which could possibly lead to imbalanced results. Evolution Items: Adjusted the prices based on the explained calculation. Damage-reducing Berries: Adjusted the prices so you are able to buy 10 Berries after a full Excavation Sites run. Since stat-modifying berries like the Salac berry are still rather hard to come by I think they would create great interest towards the Excavaton Sites. Mega Stones: Since obtaining 1.000 Artifact Pieces to purchase a megastone takes over 2 weeks of full Excavation Site runs and megastone-quests usually do not take longer than a 1-2 days at most for the majority of the playerbase I would suggest to lower the price a little bit to 600. While I think adding megastones exclusive to Excavation Sites is a good way to make them interesting again it should be considered that some players do not like to do Excavation Sites as well. I think lowering the price from 1.000 to 600 Artifact Pieces would be a good change which could motivate some players to do more Excavation Sites again. Obviously players who already bought the megastones for the original price of 1.000 Artifact Pieces would need to get compensated with the extra Artifact Pieces. Exclusive Cosmetic Items Shoutout to @dangarangs for the idea and some examples. https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/topic/155148-excavation-only-cosmetics/ Adding Cosmetics and Mounts exclusive to Excavation Sites would make them a lot more interesting for not only advanced but for newer players as well. These items would give players another long-term goal depending on the price. It could be considered to make some Cosmetics and Mounts unlockable after reaching a certain Excavation Rank which would give the Excavation Rank another purpose after reaching the 10.000 mark to unlock the Draconic Site. The prices of these exclusive items would come down to the fact if they are tradable or not. TL;DR ADDITIONAL IDEAS Option to see available Excavation Site Spawns While I know its possible to check an Excavation Sites Spawns using the Reborn Bot I still think it would be a great addition for some players to know which pokemon are obtainable on the different Excavation Sites. It would be very useful to know which synchronize should be used especially. Since I dont know if its possible to add the spawns on the drop-menu on the top-left this could be done by wandering pokemon, NPCs giving hints on dialogues, signs which explain pokemon sightings etc. instead. Artifact Pieces to spawn rare pokemon I think the option to spawn certain pokemon available on the Excavation Sites would be a great addition. Once again it could be considered to make some pokemon unlockable after reaching a certain Excavation Rank which would give the Excavation Rank another purpose after reaching the 10.000 mark to unlock the Draconic Site. It could be done similar to the already existing system to spawn pokemon for PvE Coins. A changing pool of rare pokemon available in Excavation Sites which can be spawned for Artifact Pieces at an NPC. Additional Excavation Rank Rewards Currently the highest Excavation tier is Tomb Raider at 8.000+ discoveries and the 10.000 mark is the last useful rank since it unlocks the Draconic Site. I would suggest to award players for every additional 1.000 discoveries to give them another goal to grind for after achieving the 10.000 mark. It probably would make the most sense to reward players with a certain amount of Artifact Pieces. In addition players could unlock exclusive Cosmetics/Mounts and rare pokemon spawns for Artifact Pieces as mentioned earlier. Changes to Shiny Rocks I think Shiny Rocks should always have a pokemon instead of a chance for an item or even nothing. Getting a shiny out of Excavation Sites is already extremly rare and getting an item or nothing out of them is just frustrating and does not feel rewarding at all. I personally have gotten one shiny at 60.000+ Excavation Rank to give some further insights. ENDING WORDS I am well aware that not all of the suggested changes have a chance to get added to the game but I hope that at least some of these ideas will be considered and added in the future to improve the Excavation Sites again. Please feel free to share your own ideas and suggestions on this thread in the comments as well. Also dont hesitate to provide feedback on this suggestions, what do you like, what dont you like? I am looking forward to see Excavation Sites being interesting and exciting again. #MakeExcavationGreatAgain1 point

Hey, I have some suggestions regarding the current PC-System. I am aware that this is low priority, but I am pretty sure that it is a really good and wanted QoL change. I saw similar posts, but those did not match entirely with the thoughts I had about the PC. If you like or dislike any of them, please leave a reply in this topic. 1. Naming Boxes. PvP-Box, PvE-Box, Shiny Box etc. I know it is possible to sort it like that with a bit of effort but the naming would make the whole sorting way more pleasant. 2. Adding and naming Categories One Box consists of 5 Rows which contain 3 Pokémon each. Adding a [-] Split function to split the Box in two Categories (which both can be named) containing 6 Pokémon each for a full team (12 per splitted box) would be great. This would be especially useful for entire PvP teams, but can be used to sort a lot of different things aswell. 3. Free movement in the box. Each Slot in every box should be usable for any Pokémon no matter how much we caught or if those are filled with Pokémon. This would allow us to use the last boxes for PvP-Teams (using the Split function), Shinys, Boss-Pokémon etc. whilst the boxes in the front will not be messed up by (or simply used for) catching new wild Pokémon. 4. Checking and mass-deleting Pokémon. Adding a simple checkbox to every Pokémon and being able to click a trashcan to release all of them together. This will prevent the time consuming and annoying process of releasing every single Pokémon slowly, especially after catching hundreds. 5. Mark favorites. Small, not needed change I thought about. Marking Pokémon with a little star and being able to only show those. This is for example useful to mark epic or just really good Pokémon when you caught hundreds of the same kind to differentiate those from the bad (and hopefully mass-delete the rest). Thanks to @SchattenDialga for the visualization. Make sure to check out his shop here: https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/topic/103263-url1 point

+1 I think adding additional content to customize a pokemon will always be a good idea. Why not go more deep in the concept and make balls according to the elements (Angel, Nightmare, Magma, Aqua Ball) or even make ball for each event ( xmas, halloween, valentine ball ) a rare ball with 100% catch rate for the rare event pokemon that we catch, currently we all use a masterball because we are all afraid that the server will crash ! ( even when the servers are stable ) Same idea with a shiny ball for the same reasons.1 point

This is a good idea but first of all I want to be able to obtain Heal, Love or Dream ball to catch pink pokémon with them1 point

Very cool idea! I am curious to know if the ball's cosmetics are linked to a constant image, so if you were to ever change the image it would update even for pokemon caught. If so, you could reward first place in guild ladder to have their logo on a "Guild Champion Ball" that's image is updated every month.1 point

I like the idea of having more different kinds of pokéballs in the game, not the biggest fan of it being behind a wall like RNG boxes however. Added these as a bundle reward for bosses or something similar sounds better imo. Also making them tradeble would be awesome.1 point
-
Looks so nice , maybe events thematic. But like people said, i think is much worth do something about our boxes, i mean customize.put this pokes (pvpables) in this number box ,put other in there ( boss pokes) , etc. Have nice day1 point
-
A box rework is way, way, waaaay more work than adding new Pokeballs. Right now, I have higher priorities. Adding new Pokeballs only takes minutes for me (more work for Artists!). That's why adding them is possible while a box rework is high prioritized but not as high as fixing/adding few other things first.1 point

Like the idea, don't think its pokecoin worthy though. Through bosses/pve coins/pvp coins/dig spots/ground lootable would be nice. My personal spin on the idea would be to add Kurt (the pokeball creator guy) as a boss that would specifically reward them.1 point
-
absolutely yes, everything that can improve the game in better and in an original way is good. Pro must have personalized things, so don't stop create original ideas (like event pokes, new regions and so on..). I take advantage of the situation voting for a second shiny form for all pokes Jokes aside can be a beautiful idea create also luxury balls with great effects of sprites when they're open.1 point

Pretty sure adding weapon accessories will get pro into trouble since technically its target audience is children , just like with the actual pokémon games. Even though , let's say 80% (random number that is by no means correct) of pro's player base is 18+ , children still play the game so that idea is a out of the question imo , they do not want to walk on even thinner ice with nintendo than they already are. That aside , i'm really really digging the rest of clothes and accessory ideas , i do not know how this was not thought of before . Huge +11 point

I'll give you my opinion regarding this new sub-forum. 1) The creator of the thread should be the player who transfer for the following reasons. As mentioned by a few players before, players can already transfer by themself and buy a pokemon in an another server. That's possible without this cross server section. Players can win an auction in the server X which takes place in the sub-forum for this server and transfer their account / money if they needed. It's the creator of the topic who decide to put his thread in this cross-server sub-forum and not in the server where the pokemon is located. If he does this personal choice, it means he will be able to trade this pokemon in both server. Otherwise he doesn't add a "plus-value" and he should just use the Silver or Gold sub-forum. This cross-server section will be more clear and organized. Players who look in this sub-forum don't have to check the server in the thread each time ; check if there will be a fee or the location of the pokemon. Actually many trades have their own rules ("C / 430k TRANSFER FEE TO SILVER" - "i can transfer if winner will pay 450k." - "Transfer fees 200k" ; just a few examples )They can bid and make an offer without taking care of these details. In an auction , there is only 1 seller and many potentials bidders / viewers. 2) A global market would be a good thing for the game BUT the game isn't ready for that. (some players suggested to remove this "100 coins" cost for trades transfer) Actually, you can transfer for free every 30 days and more often if you have more than 1 account. In case you haven't a free transfer available, paying a capsule coin isn't very expensive and you will do that only in important situations, specially if you want to buy or sell an expensive pokemon and don't have another solution. It's already quite easy to do these trades without spending a lot. Having more sellers and buyers together would benefit everyone. There will be more offers and requests and trade done. Prices will be more stable in a general way. However, servers have actually a different economy and removing this separation will have consequence on the poorest server. It will be too brutal and the Trade Chat in game would be less useful. You can't advertise your offer in a common channel. IF something like that should occur a day, ( and I personally think it's a good idea) it should come with a proper system like an Auction House. (and not spamming transfer servers). Most trades will take place there and not split between many sub-forums / 2 InGame Chat / 2 Discord Chats etc..... 3) I would also like to suggest something: I think this cross-server category should allow more things. There isn't a place for items. Sometime, I saw players selling items on their thread (which isn't allowed) because there isn't a proper place to do it. It can be interesting for expensive items (Rerolls Tickets - PvE Cosmetics - Prestige Mounts - Capsule Coins) or items sold in high quantity. This can be an issue and annoying in some situations. If you want sell 3 pokemons and can handle 3 servers transfers by yourself (if needed, sometime the buyer will of course be in the same server) then you should be authorized to do that in my opinion. The confusion about the end times is also present in the Silver and Gold sub-forum when there are more than 1 pokemon in auction in the same thread and to avoid the spam, we are limited to 1 thread / sub-forum. (and not always respected)1 point

Honestly I have no idea if that is the case or not, but at this point I think it's irrelevant because of the general lack of interest from the community. Considering that not a negligible amount of people playing PRO are playing first person shooters on a daily basis (such as the games from the CoD franchise or CS:GO), gotta say I'm unpleseantly surprised how little love this suggestion received0 points
