Concern First of all, thanks for letting us share our concerns, i'm going into the obvious one, the treatment between certain staffs and players. We all know that how Qeight treat us players with incredibly rudeness, the issue is not just that (as if being treated like [heck]/dumb and other insults towards the community was small thing), but sometimes we see in pro discord ban threats. As far as i imagine, this is totally unacceptable, the lack of respect when someone does a question about something they DON'T UNDERSTAND, it's apparent, i will say that for myself, but every time i see this happening, i feel less and less motivated to speak in pro discord or even play pro. i'm a 2k +hours player and the fear of being punished (banned) because i said something a staff disliked it's bigger than my will to play. Another concern, but also a suggestion would be, don't let staff, being in game or discord that had troubles with certain players, to give their "opinion" about an infraction. That is totally based on emotion therefore, makes the judgment clouded and personal instead of technical. For a GM, the infraction can be a 2 hours mute, to the one with grudge will be worth of a ban, I myself was almost victim of that kind of judgment, and it's totally not fair. Suggestion 1- Allow players to vote about the behavior of certain moderation to ensure the staff will hear us in a faster way, like an instant open public feedback. 2- Do something about not only users but moderators, that pretend that do not see offenses, homophobic comments, body shaming comments, xenophobic (offense towards ethnic groups) comments. 3- Punish the ones that provoke severely and a small warn to those who DEFEND themselves. We're often seeing the attacked ones being punished for defending their honor. 4- Try to stop the "protection culture" where, a staff says the complaint of a player towards another member of staff is wrong, if one player expressed it's concern usually there are many others who agree but don't have the courage to do so. 5- Put a recruitment based on minimum Age (hard to do but it's about free time and maturity). Thanks :RemVV:15 points

It looks like sometimes, a certain staff member feels obliged to insult or to reply in a condescending way to players. Without targetting him/her, I would like to know why you hired him/her again and why he/she isn't fired.15 points

Hello there everyone ! For those of you who don't know me, I am Keita, one of the Administrator of Pokemon Revolution Online, nice to meet you! Given the recent situation with increasing tensions between staff and players, I think it's now time to properly address it with the aim of improving the situation and in general the staff-player relation. The people who know me can testify that I have, and never had, a problem in being transparent and honest, but as well really direct going straight to the point. Just to clear, this doesn't mean that everything can be disclosed as there are things that cannot be disclosed like it can be the method we use to catch cheaters, but there are many other things that can be discussed without a problem and that many would be interested but are afraid to ask. This thread has been created exactly to have a ground where staff (represented in this thread by us Admins) and players can properly discuss together and clarify things. In this thread you will be able to ask me pretty much anything that passes on your mind. Some example: Moderation Our stance toward a specific behaviour Our stance toward a specific rule violation What kind of training do staff has to pass before becoming effectively a full-staff member? How does our Punishment Policy exactly works? Suggestions How they are addressed within the staff team; How do we treat them in general and what value do we give to them What priority do we give to them Staff How is staff organized How do we make sure the staff are doing the right thing and not abusing their power How is staff punished if and when they break any rule Events How do we organize them? However, do keep in mind that these are just examples but there is many more things that you might be interested in knowing and can ask here. Also, as said previously, remember that there are some things that cannot be answered, some of them can be: Exact value of special form encounter chance How do we find cheaters (as this would allow people to bypass them and have the game full of cheaters) Other things that are not in my mind now, but I will make sure to point it out to you in case you ask IMPORTANT: This is a space I am offering in order to improve the staff-player relation. I do expect transparency and honesty from you at 360°, but as well respect. No insult, taunt, provocation, targetting toward a specific user or staffmember or similar will be tolerated. We live in 2021, I am fairly sure the human society evolved enough to be able to hold a discussion with the best transparency and honesty possible but as well respect toward each other. Allowed argument: It looks like sometimes you mass ban a lot amount of people at once, why does it happen? Not allowed argument: You fucking dictator, hitler fan, you just hate the whole INSERTCOUNTRY population, why the fuck do you do that? fuck you retarded dictator12 points

I noticed some staff are very quick to ban, sometimes with no warning, but take ages to handle appeals. Why? I would like to suggest that, if you are gonna ban someone, why not make sure to be around to handle the appeal in the same day? Or at least before the temporary ban ends, preferable within a week after banning. PRO have lots of mods, it doesn't seem to be an impossible request. Another question: Why can't I request another mod to handle my appeals if I don't trust the one doing so? I noticed poor behaviour from one of the staff and wish not to have this staff handling my appeal. And I requested that, he closed the appeal. Lemme know if you want me to name them. Also, why are staff allowed to call players "idiot" or taunt them? I saw Teerav quoting something said by a staff, and he was taunted and called stupid for that. They also avoided talking about the relevant subject Teerav quoted. Other staff ganked in to defend the staff. Pretty immature behaviour. Was something done about it? Or is it just allowed? Lemme know if you want screenshots. If the majority of the players do not appreciate how a staff is treating us or handling situations, will something be done about it? Or are we going to be ignored? Will this thread be another one of those to let players express themselves but nothing will be done about it? Please, lemme know before keep investing time in this game. Thank you for your time.11 points

I feel like the best way to actually communicate with the staff team about the game is the Suggestions Subforum (or at least it should be) but Suggestions almost never get answered or only get a 1 sentence answer. I know the staff team and esspecially the developers are insanly busy but some Suggestions still deserve a proper answer. We are told to always voice our opinions and make suggestions but if they never get answered in a proper way it just does not feel right. I have been told multiple times that all suggestions are being read but there is no time to give proper answers most of the time. While I can understand that to a certain extend I think there needs to be a better solution for that. For example there could be a monthly stream where suggestions are being looked into and discussed. If that is not possible because of some reasons maybe it would be possible to discuss about some suggetions within the staff team and then give a decent answer to the Suggestion Thread. If there are other reasons why suggestions rarely get answered please share these reasons with us so we can understand it.10 points

Well ... my first account got banned forever because staff pretended I cheated when me and my brother play from the same network and same pc and called me a liar even when i gives him a prove and he didn't Note: my account have 3000 hours play and I didn't have any penalties before Question: what kind of democracy is is this if we can't defend on our self?10 points

@Qeight i have a question to you. You dont play PRO, i mean u can log into ur acc sometimes, but never to actually play the game itself. You know, more than half of the community dont like you, and also u dont like the community back (or a big part of it), so my question is: Why, why u still around? whats the reason for it? just curious tbh.9 points

First of all, i'd like to disclose that this miscommunication or non-communication between staff and players have gone long enough, and most of you know when that started and with whom. Going back from there, the 2016 era had barely any issues with players. One of PRO's key selling points back then was and i quote "Staff are friendly, rules are fair and strict, no favoritism" this has change dramaticaly over the years, and not in a good way i'm afraid. I have yet to see App's or more than 60% of the remaining staff interacting with the community, casually talking or just having fun with players on a daily basis. One of the key requirements for passing App was to be able to interact with the community. What sort of procedure does app and staff follow these days on player interaction? From the original PP that was created by myself and few other staff, rules are not being enforced strict enough or have been enforced in a more discretional way, does PP still intend as a deterrant for toxic people? If so does the goal "keep the game fair for players" still apply as a driving factor on adapting PP to situations. What are the criterea's for a suggestion to reach staff? A: just forums B: some good bits here and there - Unfortunately i dont see many back and forth dialogs in suggestions between player and staff to help them improve their suggestions. is it? from what i can tell only content team is somewhat organized, but even within content everyone is responsible for their own things rather than working as a collective, based on dialogs with other CS's. I think its more healthy to ask what is "abuse" at this point. Because while some of the things that can be seen as abuse on a regular basis it seems like its completely fine on a staff point of view. As for a question of my own, how does recruitment policy works? Are there any ideas to let go of the "fill the forum" application and actually communicating with the person that might become your team mate for understanding people better. This is a fanmade game, not a job. EDIT: In the past, we had a policy to allow players to ask someone else handle the appeal if a player was not satisfied with the answer provided, is this still a common practice in how appeals are being handled this time around?8 points

This is what I was going to bring up as well, I'm fairly sure we may be thinking of the same staff member. I've seen screenshots of him being disrespectful and rude to both active and banned players (falsely banned or otherwise.) Talking down to them, mocking them, making jabs at them. Far be it from me to tell you guys how to control your staff, but I've administrated a lot of forums in my time and that dude would have been gone long ago. Every single person here deserves to be treated with respect until they've proven extremely undeserving of it, this particular staff member seems unwilling to do that. I have a feeling we don't even need to name that staff member, from the few staff members I have spoken to he's a known issue among you guys... Yet he's still here? I know a lot of you guys are great and care about the game and it's community, but staff members like that are giving you a very bad name among the playerbase.7 points

This thread is just a waste, if your staff team aka q8 can't even see where he is wrong and why people dislike the gm then close the thread instead just like all the other ones. These issue have been since i started on my first account in 2018 and here we are again with another thread that will solve literally nothing, but whatever.5 points

Even if it happened to me in the past to be sometimes aggressive towards certain staff members, I will remain objective, impartial in my argument. Even if I think that staff members invest a lot of time in their tasks, I think that it is badly distributed, and sometimes for things that do not make sense or do not go in the direction of the players. 4 argued examples: 1) Summer tournament 2020. I really enjoyed the one in 2019 (the first and only one in which I participated), it allowed me to meet lots of players and sometimes to advise or be advised in PvP. I expected to participate in the 2020 one. In this regard, announcements had been made on this subject for the registrations for the 2020 tournament. Then, radio silence, no more news or much too late. I think a lot of time was invested to get the mega released in time for this tournament. However, we played for years without a mega, so I don't think it was dramatic if we have summer tournament without the mega. Strictly speaking, a winter tournament could have been proposed to play with the new megas. The summer tournament seemed like a tradition to me, an event that only happens once every year. To sump up with this example: · The staff missed his communication by opening the registrations and then leaving the players in artistic vagueness. · Then the time invested on the megas did not benefit the players who wanted to participate in the summer tournament. Personally, I am disappointed not to have been able to compete in the summer tournament, especially since there was no reason to cancel it. It pissed me off. 2) Jet ski speed / Surf mounts. It is the perfect example which proves the dysfunctions between staff and players. First, we nerfed jetski. One day later after received many complaints, you have decided to reimburse players for a coin capsule for those who no longer wish to use this surf mount. The reimbursement was a good thing, but really to late (one day is really too late… ). Indeed, some players decided to sell their jetski at prices divided by 2 to 3 the original value. Second, for a very long time you did not explain why you made this decision to nerf the speed of the jetski. Then you explained why you nerfed Jetski, for more diversity, totally understandable Third, I think this decision was the worst to take. 4 options were available to you: - nerf the jetski and reimburse players with a coin capsule and improve the speed of other surf mounts (but these don't go as fast as the jetski) - increase the speed of the surf mounts to the same speed as the Jetski and reimburse the players with a coin capsule for the players who no longer want their Jetski. - reimburse the players with a coin capsule for players who no longer want their Jetski and put the price of the jetskis at the same price as the other surf mounts in the shop. You took the worst decision. Fourth, I decided to make a suggestion about this topic. No one answered me. So I decided to make my suggestion in a popular and debated thread, where I was obviously off topic and was more likely to get an answer. Walross clearly told me that I was off topic (which was true). He explained to me that the subject was closed and that it was not worth discussing it any longer. It doesn't seem to me to be an attitude of dialogue between players and staff. This attitude and decision to nerf the speed of the Jetski that makes no sense pissed me off once again. 3) Guild tournament. Although this tournament is a first, in my opinion there has been a lack of organization and a total ignorance of the players who want to finish the tournament. We waited too long for nothing. Instability of the servers is not a valid apology, there were easier ways to end this tournament quickly. No needs to mention the delays caused by some teams who easily took their time between each round. 4-5 rounds gap between the winner and loser bracket… To sum up, this tournament revealed several things: - a lack of organization - poor communication - ignorance of the players on the part of some members of the staff who probably considered that the players were not important. - apparent conflicts between staff members 4) Respect. I already feel the mockery coming about this subject, especially when this remark comes from me. I tried many ways to discuss with staff: · calm and constructed · aggressive and constructed (I tried the aggressivity when I’m really pissed off about attitude and decisions of staff) · comical Before being aggressive, some staff members have missed and perhaps lack respect to the players. I think it's important to name people so I'll give some names. For example, I spoke to logan about Predators Guild Drama about the power in this guild via discord. The first sentence I received from LOGAN is: “Should I ban you?”. I'm not a child, and I think there is a better way to express yourself, including starting by saying “hello “and not being contemptuous towards players. I don’t have personal problem with Prehax / Qeight / Felix, but I saw that some of his answers are both contemptuous of the players and the staff members. When I saw thread from Prehax, I have the feeling that the staff do not shake one of them and he’s the only ones able to do something, a kind of superhero or savior, I do not like this behavior. He disrespects some players when they try to make some suggestions without being aggressive and get censored because it does not go in his opinion. If we read my post, don’t be upset, I tried to be as impartial as possible. I pointed out the dysfunctions, but I know that there is a desire to do well among certain members of the staff. Do not consider my post as criticism aimed at overwhelming the staff. My english is bad. If you want more explanations, feel free to contact me5 points

Edit: I made a mistake and didnt put the context in the above pictures. Im sorry for that, because apparently its ok as pro staffer to insult people and use bad language if they post 'stupid' stuff. If you want the full context, please search this stuff in the pro discord and only then make yoursef a opinion on it. No idea why many people dont like staff, abselutely no idea. Sadly the impact of a few loud have also impact of all other staffs, the generalization happens pretty fast. Its smt natural in a humans brain. Imagine you are new to the game and this is the first impression of staff. I only have screens from him because its current, the most obvious and I didnt had to search long. But there are also other staffs which lost their good tone a couple of times. Its obvious that there are many players much worse than that, but as staffer you should always have a bit proffesionalism - no matter if they talk with someone who does the same. I also read many appeals from my friends, because their english is not so well for example. And its crazy how unfriendly and snootily staffs answere there (but also not only there) sometimes. They missunderstand stuff and dont even say sorry afterwards for example. Its not a crime to say that you are wrong in some points - some staff members completely refuse to do that sometimes. Ofc many people dont trust staff about game content announcements, even when many additions are good, they often getting not as much appreciated because they got announced to be published long times ago or with the publishing the server starts crashing much more often. Corsi island is also a example. PRO summer tour 2020. I advise anyone new to not expect much from changes, and that no eta defenitely doesnt has to mean 'soon'. Exclude the totally disgusting server crashes, the game actually makes fun and is cool content wise, but with all those impressions its hard to believe myself. There is a bit more but in the end it sums up in those 2 main points. So, for me its no wonder that players (at least for many that I know including myself) dont really trust many staffers and I cant disagree that some staff members act like ... not staff members to word it kindly, which has impact how you see the whole team.5 points

@Shinohara You know the main reason why the player - staff relation is going down hill. Not just that, even the motivation of staff in general. Which leads to less motivation to interact in the first place. Everything shown here and posted on pro discord is nothing different than what happens in the staff circle itself and its no secret why it happens. The only real question is how long will it continue, until there are changes or until its too late?4 points

just rename this topic to prehax hate thread already y'all ask for more communication from staff, he communicates his opinions and doesn't veil them behind diplomatic language - is this not the transparency people ask for? his dismissiveness of opinions he doesnt agree with is the primary issue between staff and players? please. not everyone is good at putting on a fake smile and lying to your face that they'll "think about it." makes perfect sense why others avoid interacting with this community like the plague. good riddance.4 points

In every community, there are problematic people who tarnish by themselves the reputation of the whole community. The PRO staff member community is not an exception of this rule. In my opinion, 99% of the staff members are making a really good job, taking the good decisions, are reactive and really cool with players. This is very important to say, most of you guy are really making a geat job. BUT the 1% left drag down the staff reputation with their really contestable actions. And when I say 1%, I personnally have one person in mind. To not target toward a specific staffmember, I will not give names but let's use a nickname and call him "Mister P.". Mister P. is hated by a large majority of PRO players. Power abusing, insulting, condescending comments against players etc... always playing with the limits. A lot of people are complaining about him. The bad behavior of Mister P. impacts the reputation of staff members. So my question is simple : Why Mister P. is not fired yet ? Suggestion : If you have many complains about one specific staff member, make a democratic poll and let the PRO players take the decision.4 points

Heyho, the other points will certainly be answered by Keita or other staffs. I would like to concentrate on the second point first, because I do not want to leave it as it is. As you mentioned, I nerfed the speed of jet skis from 8 to 6, as all players used jet skis because of the speed and not the optics. That highly devalued all other surf mounts for literally no reason! The other surf mounts had a speed of 4, which is the normal running speed, and therefore players only used jet skis. I considered whether I should increase the speed of the surf mounts to 8, but the animations of some mounts looked very bad at this speed. That's why I nerfed the speed of jet skis from 8 to 6 and buffed that of every other mount from 4 to 6. That's exactly how I announced it at the time. Furthermore, it took a day to add the NPC to exchange a jet skis for a CC because it had to be tested first. It had nothing to do with the reaction from the community.4 points

Hi there i think we all agreed that we are here to have fun and at the same time we want healthy community the relationship between the players and staffs are part of this community so you must chose your staffs carefully my suggestion to you is making evaluation that allow us to evaluate the staffs every month in the end of every season and the one who get a low rate should be replaced .. you have to make balance between the staffs and the players but in fact you dont you just gave the staffs the power to do every thing they want without the ability to make an objection and btw your hole appeal system need to changed so we can have a fair discussion .. otherwise the problems between players and staffs will stay the same or maybe will get worse in future4 points

Hi there @biermon12 As the situation you have experienced happened before I was Admin (and from a person that is now a Former Staff) I have went over and checked the case where the event you described happened. You were being checked for a Real Money Trading situation and there were really strong evidences pointing toward you. The staff member, in order to help you getting out it (and not losing your account), actually had the WRONG idea to actually ask you for a photo to prove your claim (of being friends/brothers playing together). Despite the staff had good intentions, what the Staff Member did is absolutely wrong and is something we are absolutely against and always taught to not do that (although that should be common sense). Despite I was not an Admin back then and therefore had no management power, I do give you our most sincere apologies regarding the event you have experienced with a promise to do my best in order to make sure that was the first and last time something like that will happen. - Keita4 points

Well I've noticed that lately there are too many complaints about community being treated in a "shitty" way and I agree on that. Being treated like that will not help the game but it will have the complete opposed effect, resulting in people quitting it. When I raged in PRO discord about the state of the servers I got treated kinda well by most of the staff there (to be fair with everyone), then there is one staff member (who works hard and we all know that) who couldn't resist the temptation to taunt us (I consider me particularly) by posting an announcement stating that if we are tilted from PvP (which wasn't the case) or just bored, we can help staff members to improve the translation to Russian and other languages of forums. Well, when many don't consider it as an offense, I took it personally and brought it up to many players who agreed that this particular staff member is really rude to constructive criticism (My case wasn't so constructive, but gave some ideas in Discord, not in forums for obvious reasons stated in other comments). As I said before, a game is nothing without its community and when you treat this community badly, don't expect them to stick to the game. PEACE3 points

I think most of these I already understand except the discussion of suggestions. I think this is a very lacking area even if someone in staff is in charge of this. 1. I know for a fact that if anyone is in charge of it would have to be a GM or someone high up because I have never seen it. The only exception I could see is content scripters maybe look for content related suggestions but I just feel from expefience this is not the case. 2. There seems to be no reply in suggestion forums to well done posts and it drives a lot of frustration within the community about just being ignored. Recently, Wally answered to the issue of PvP queue problems that I pulled verbatum from forum suggestion thread and it was only finally getting him to talk to us randomly in our Discord did it seem this got looked at. While I am not a fan of just getting a reply that it will not be done/cannot be done and then just leave it at that, like I have had done to me years ago, it is better than silence. 3. The Q and A streams seem to have no correlation to the suggestion thread which I really wish it would. The streams just seem rather random to some extent I guess to answer topical questions but I think there is room to improve this all if we had more dedicated looks at the suggestion thread and actually hearing replies. Staff Related Optional Point: I think there are those in staff who do not really have a way to voice proper criticism or advice in a way that can actually help. We can argue all day whether I got ignored or not and if I just baby raged left staff over this but I really cannot necessarily blame Wally for not being able to know all the criticism and advice I have given necessarily with how busy he is and Discord just buries these topics. There seems to be channels kind of geared slightly for this but they seem either not really used or just not designed to properly engage us.3 points

my suggestion is to lighten up on the rules in battle chat and let people rage there a bit, alot of people get muted directly from things in battle chat and im sure everyone knows pvp brings frustration always so some people just cant help but express themselves. If you make battle chat an optional chat and make it so people have to join the chat themselves instead of it already being there it will keep alot of the sensitive people out. im sure people wont like this idea but battling and war is all about violence so i dont see why the chat cant be a warzone too yaknow.2 points

It would be good to avoid harassing players by private messages on discord and threatening to ban them if they do not respond to you within 10 minutes of your message: In my case he was a GM who is no longer in the staff now, I answered all his questions all day while being respectful but he came back to see me several hours later and it was dark at home so I was asleep I could not answer him right away, by connecting to discord I could see many notifications from him where he threatened to ban me if I did not answer him literally 10 minutes after he asked his question. from there he kept threatening to ban me if I didn't answer him within 5min. It was really a really bad experience to go through this for several days it almost made me stop playing the game. I understand that a GM has to react quickly when there is a problem but we players have a life also we cannot be at your entire disposal for several days to answer your questions immediately, especially since I answered all his messages as soon as I saw them. I don't know if this is usual with you or if it was just the person's method, but this kind of action is not pleasant for the players. Imagine being threatened with wasting your thousands of hours of farming multiple times just because you didn't immediately respond to a staff member's question via a private message on Discord that makes you lose all desire to play the game. I'm surely not the only person to have had this bad experience. Kinds regards.2 points

Hello everyone! Every Gym Leader has been reworked! The following has been changed: Gym Leaders now have better dialogs and more balanced teams. An often requested feature, Gym Leader can now be rechallenged after completing their region! They're stronger than regular trainers, but weaker than bosses. Every Gym is now assigned a unique TM, both used by the Gym Leader and sold by the Gym Guide. Due to this, various TMs and Tutor Moves may now be obtained from different locations. Furthermore, a new NPC, Copycat Lamsie, makes her appearance nearby Gyms. She will copy the team of the latest player who won against the Gym Leader, and you will be able to fight her for experience every time she copies a new team. Here's the specifics for each change. Regular Gym Leader Challenge: Most Gym Leaders got their dialogs rewritten, to be more complete and in-character. Money is always rewarded during battle instead of outside, and therefore scales with their level. Just like before, Gym Leaders will no longer give experience after you lose to them. However, they will give experience again if you wait a full day before rechallenging them. Their teams have been balanced to be better adapted for their level. Some of them have also changed level to better fit the expected level of the player. Gym Leaders now have EV points spread into all their stats. The higher their level, the more EV points they have, without going over the normal 510 limit. Gym Leader Rematch: Gym Leaders are now available to be battled again once you complete the Elite Four of their region. You can expect them to be as strong as the Champion, if not a bit more. The final Gym Leader of a region is slightly stronger, and always have one Mega Pokemon in their team. Gym Leader Rematches reward experience and items related to their type, but no money. They might be good for getting the last few levels of a Pokemon? Gym Leader Rematches have a cooldown of 7 days, regardless of if you have won or lost. TM Sellers: Every Gym now has a unique TM assigned to it, which cannot be purchased anywhere else. Due to this design decision, certain Gym Leaders were assigned TMs that they never used in the original games. The first purchase of a TM is half price, making it easier of access during story. The next purchases are full price, or 5 for the price of 4, just like before. Due to the new distribution of TMs, some TMs such as Roost are no longer available outside of the Gym, while other moves such as Energy Ball are now taught or sold elsewhere. Every TM and Move Tutor available before the update still remain available somewhere. We have also balanced the prices to be more consistent and representative of the power of the move. Right now, this is only applied on the affected TMs and Tutors, but it is planned to rebalance all of them in the future. Department Stores now have two TM sellers, one of which always have the same selection of TMs regardless of the region. The more badges you have completed in the region, the better the TMs they will sell! A new TM seller is now in Fuchsia City. She sells TMs that were exclusive to Generation 1, and as such, that can only be taught to the original 151 Pokemon. Copycat Lamsie: Lamsie becomes available to fight whenever you defeat the corresponding Gym Leader. Her team will be the exact same as the team of the player who last defeated the Gym Leader. However, she will ignore teams that she judges are too strong, usually as a result of trading with another player. Fighting her rewards experience, but no money. It can be a cool way to gain levels if you feel you're too weak, or if you want to train a new Pokemon. Her cooldown lasts until she copies a new team. That is, the more people are doing Story, the smaller her cooldown will be. Specific changes: The stats of Viridian's Gym Leader's Pokemon have been adjusted. It now has less offensive stats, but a lot more HP, just like a mini-boss. This should make it easier for many Pokemon to be able to contribute to the fight without relying to cheese strategies. Just like in the original games, Blue replaces Viridian's Gym Leader after completing Kanto's Pokemon League. He will be the one offering the rematch instead of the original Gym Leader. Tate and Liza are no longer separate NPCs to fight. You will fight both of them at the same time, although still as a regular battle style. Juan has been removed. You only need to fight Wallace to receive Sootopolis' badge. If you have any feedback regarding the Gym Leader rework, let us know! I'm particularly looking for the following feedback: Is there any Gym Leader that you feel is too strong or too weak? Have you found any team copied by Copycat Lamsie that you feel should have been ignored? We will be keeping track of your feedback and may adjust the features as needed to keep everything balanced.1 point

Hi Walross, I think you are wrong when you say that it has nothing to do with the relationship between the community and the staff. All your decisions have an impact on the game and therefore on the community. If the community (except for a few specimens) finds that the decision makes no sense and influences the game in the bad way, they are likely to take it wrong and get pissed off. This affects the staff members, who for the most part have nothing to do with it and respond as well as they can. It's exactly the same in business (in real life). If your top manager tells you one thing one day and tells you something else the next day, it may get angry and have consequences on your work especially if you find that this change does not make sense. While being objective and honest, we've never heard of the bad 8 speed animations argument for surf mounts other than the Jetski. The only announcement we got was about the variety of surf mounts. Nothing else than that. I asked several players they answered me the same thing. I'll show you how a decision has an impact on the players, which can potentially deteriorate the relationship between the staff and the players. Let’s imagine that you are an average player, you see that the jetski is nerfed. Your first instinct is to sell the frame as quickly as possible before the prices drop too much. You sell your Jetski at 150-180k when it was worth the price of a coin capsule or 350k before the nerf. There were a lot of jetski for sale that day. The next day, you learn that the jetski you sold for 150k is exchangeable for a coin capsule. How do you take it? Probably wrong. You tell yourself that the staff could have foreseen this before. And if not, warn players that a npc was going to be put on the game. This information was never given. My goal is not to speak about the subject of Jetski itself but of the consequences that a decision has on the community either by communication or the way in which the decision is managed. Trust me the day you told me that the subject was closed and that it was not worth talking about it any longer it pissed me off especially when your decision did not make sense to my eyes. Only today you have just given me an explanation that makes sense (bad animations for surf mounts with speed 8 for example) while the nerf is at least 2 years old, maybe more. While being objective and honest, we've never heard of the bad 8 speed animations argument for surf mounts other than the Jetski before today. The only announcement we got was about the variety of surf mounts. Nothing else than that. I asked several players they answered me the same thing. I know that some players have requested UU and they are told that there will probably not be UU but random battle. This is not what the players originally asked for. When the players do not find meaning in a decision, they can get angry and lash out at the staff. I just wanted to point this out. Best regards1 point
