  1. Dear Staff members , Pvp Council members, Firstly thanks for the efforts done by anyone who does spend a part of their time trying to enhance the game for free whether reaching a good outcome or not. Kindly I've few comments : 1- Exciting the users with a new patch with new good megas then banning them result in a lot of negativity and depression to users who started having fun with the new stuff in the new patch. 2- Absolutely against the waste of efforts and money spent by buyers and hunters in game for the later banned pokes, For example: - You let a user hunt for hours and days a poke then get all of this effort trashed is unfair. - Those users who spent tons of money buying epic pokes like for example this guy who spent over 23m for an epic mawile few days ago then getting his poke banned and for plenty of other users is unfair for them and for the spent hours on grinding cash. - The spent hours on quests for mega pokes also by a lot of users are a waste of time. - The formed teams and money spent on pokes to coupe along with the freshly banned pokes is unfair. I don't mind having an op poke banned like bb greninja or mawile mega but all I'm saying is, it should be banned previously before releasing the patch and tested specially by the pvp Council not after the release with seasons and sometimes can go for a long while like with aegislash. If the pvp community need a hype of a variety they should discuss with votes on suggestions with the council whether to have a strong meta with a lot of options of previous banned pokes or nerfed ones like galewings of talon , bb ninja , speed boost blaziken and so on of op abilities, moves or stones etc.. Or whether to have a balanced meta like the current one to make it fair for h.o team users/ stall teams users/ balanced teams users. Kindly review the PRO Community members on their demands and comments on the last ban cause a lot of complains have been made and kindly review those notes in this thread. Thanks and regards.

  2. I have been extremely vocal about the failure of the implementation and treatment of the "Official" PvP Council for PRO. First, we must understand what PRO created the PvP Council for. Its purpose, as defined by PRO is: Source: https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/topic/159114-introducing-the-pvp-council/ Speaking of that post, please review my initial view on this announcement: https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/topic/159114-introducing-the-pvp-council/?do=findComment&comment=904730 The PvP Council discord started off really well. Council members were discussing every other day or so. Daily activity wasn't necessarily needed, just enough to keep things active. However, it quickly feel apart due to lack of leadership and support from PRO Staff. I'll go through some examples on how leaderships inaction and slow reactions began to lose the councils trust in the system: Example 1: Council members need to wait 2+ weeks for official responses to requests. Example 2: Council members begin to leave the council due to lack of confidence in the system. Example 3: Walross confirms wave three mega bans, etc, will "most likely" be discussed by the PvP PRO Council. Example 4: More council members begin to express their lack of confidence in the system created. I encourage you to join the "PRO PvP Council" Discord and review #council-chat for yourself. Note the timestamps of #announcements made by Walross. Wave three mega bans discussions where never began in #council-chat by Walross as stated in Example 3 above, leading to Example 4. Also note absolutely NOTHING posted in #council-announcements or #suspect-results-votes as of the posting of this thread. OKAY, SO HOW CAN WE FIX IT? Step 1: Move everything in "Pokemon Revolution Online" Official Discord. Step 2: Re-establish the council to 7 total members. Then have these 7 members vote on appointing a council lead. Step 3: All voting will be viewable by the public in #council-voting. Each member has 1 vote worth 1 point, while a member of PRO Staff has 1 vote worth 3 points. Ties are decided by Council Lead. Step 4: Respect from PRO Staff.

  3. Whenever the meta can turn healthy, a lot of dishonnests guys cry because their broken pokes are banned. When Battle Bond Greninja were totally broken in PvP, the owners of these pokes cried so much just because they paid millions for having a good one. they think of themself before thinking about the well-being (healthy of the meta) of the game. I personnaly don't care that one guy spend 23m for mawile godly. If i understand well, we can't ban a pokemon because a guy spend 23m right ? If tomorrow i buy a godly aegislash 15m which are totally broken in the meta, will it be unbanned ? I'm agree about one point, the staff should have banned sablenite/ mawilite / metagrossite and greninja before complaints, hunting of these banned pokemons. I totally understand to let 15 days of testing after the patch but i really think that showdown players know what is healthy or unhealthy for the meta in PRO. I haven't test the new megas of wave 3 but i saw a lot of streams and i can see that meta is stall oriented (mega sableye) or offensive thanks to Mega Mawile for counter Mega Sableye. There are nothing balanced. You don't have too much choice in your megas. It's really hard to play others megas like Mega Medicham for example when Mega Sableye is very present in the meta. What medicham can do to sableye ? Nothing. I really hope that Walross and the PvP Council don't change their mind about these bans for the healthy of the meta. This is maybe the first time i appreciate the decision of Walross.

  4. -1. I have read so many complaints about the recent bans decided by Walross. For me, he did the right thing and the only argument I can actually understand is that Walross should have let people know about these bans before the release of the Pokemon. Regarding complaints about Greninja ban, people interested in Pokemon from a « competitive » perspective should know that Showdown players agreed to ban it in 6G with ORAS released. ORAS giving to Greninja all its coverage moves like low kick, gunk shot and one of the reasons it can actually pressure in an unhealthy way, so many teams. https://www.smogon.com/smog/issue44/ou-to-ubers It’s not because we, players, have been able to use it during years that this means Greninja is OK for the meta. Mega sableye/mega Mawile are Pokemon that obviously restrict team building way too much and should be banned for that very reason. Mega Metagross ban is also fine in my opinion regarding how bulky, fast and powerful this Pokemon is although, Unlike the other two I could understand it being unbanned regarding how it suffers from 4 moves syndrome. Arguments about how popular a Pokemon is, are totally irrelevant when you must decide a ban. ex: I like Lucario, Mega Lucario should be allowed in pvp. LOL Arguments like « but I can tank it with... or revenge kill it with » are also limited if you are referring to uncommon/unused Pokemon for the benefit of a broken one. ex: I can tank Mega Mawile with Impish Arcanine. Yes bro, and what do you do with this super dog against other teams -_-. I think we can all agree that revenge killing Aegislash could be done with many Pokemon but this is not sufficient for it to be allowed. I can see it coming already, people telling me « PRO is not Showdown, PRO has its own META, PRO players don’t have the Showdown players skills etc. » I could say yes to all these questions but did we do anything to show it to Walross when we could do it? I mean did we, as players, argument about wanting our own meta? https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/topic/132015-pros-pvp-inconsistencies-in-regards-to-moveability-combinations/?tab=comments#comment-724941 When Staff asks for our opinions only few people show interest about it, but when decisions are finally made, many complaints come, lol. PRO has its own specificity since we either have to farm or buy Pvp Pokemon. Is this specificity the only reason why PRO meta is so stale and resilient to changes and diversities? For me the answer is no. This is all due to the laziness, miscommunication and intellectuall dishonesty of all people involved in PRO.

  5. I mean i see alot things go really bad . The release time of easter - the ending time of valentine .... and the dig spots disabled for a long time. Staff recruitments in masses . ( Apparently trying to save the game) , Developers and staffs name changed. What the hell happend ? It seems to go really really downhill . Not just a bit but like a mountain downhill lol . Someone trying sabotage the game ? I usually grind really hard . 8hours + And i did it arleady since probably 2 days or so . i usually found at least a common easter - a few of them each event. Now on this event . absolute Zero . Plus . i dont see people in trade or elsewhere flexing their easters to much too . I really belive something is wrong with this client . And i dont belive its 1/550 - more like 1/Broken .. or not existend ..... Whats going on ? and dont tell me all is fine cause it obviously isnt The players deserve some answers too . We arent ur dwellers or slaves . We are what keeps this game alive ^_^ So please anyone can explain whats going on ? If it is worth hunting at the moment ? And i understand if even now u wouldnt tell , because it would cause an outrage if players realised they hunted for something that is impossible to get at the moment lol

  6. before 2 years it was supposed that greni was in no risk and it was fine for pvp! but now its baned. so if i understand right noone can guarantees that in the next 2 years charizard will not get banned too. so if noone can guarantee that then someone plz answer to the players : why to spending their time to buy or hunt an epic unique poke since it might get a ban in the next years (charizard is just an example)

  9. I aggre with like 80% of what you said. Greninja has indeed all of his coverage move, and this makes it strong. But here's the question. Against which other poke do players even think more than 1 second about the moveset? I mean, some meta pokemon, like Ferrothorn, Dragonite pretty much using the same moves every single time, while at Greninja, you need to think twice what is gonna be your next move. Mega Sableye is a good ban, since its forced you to run fairy type just for it. Mega Mawile and Metagross is so so, since Zapdos can tank Mega Mawile, and Zapdos is meta tank imo. The popularity thing and "this and that can counter it" is the other thing I aggre with you. Of course, I said that many thing can counter Greninja, but I got shut down immediately with the answer, "what if they have extrasensory or shadow sneak?" For the last part, and I mean no disrespect, I think there is a reason why many players dont say anything when staff asks our opinion. Did we, I mean a bigger circle had its opinion asked? Were their thoughts really considered just once that they might change the game into a better way? Or they read it, and thats it? We were showned that there is a Council, but their opinion didnt matter at all, many of them left the Council for a reason.

  11. You did not understand. The problem is not to ban these Pokémon. The whole point is that there is a Council, where its function is to carry out the necessary tests to keep PvP balanced. However, these bans were not based on the Council's tests and were exposed by Teerav. This is the point. It is a fact that the position of the Staff is VERY complicated, many tasks to be done and many problems to take care of. That is why a Council was created, if it was created, to respect it and let the Council work.

  12. I see the same. I've been farming eventpokemon for several days now and something can't be right. I've encountered over 2800 Bellsprout and nothing. It can't be that you have to farm Pokemon for weeks for a T1. All the other topics that are currently occurring, the bans, the dig spots, whether the last update has made a difference, what the status is ... So many questions that would require a Q&A stream to deal with.

  17. Quick. - You need a few strong Pokemon (One Pokemon must have a steel type, can also be a weak one), something you can brighten up caves with - HM Flash for example. Be able to surf, be able to climb waterfalls, be able to dive. You should start the quest a bit before night. First part is just a explanation where the quest starts. - Go to the Vermilion port and go to Love Island (Requirements: 120 Kanto Pokemon caught, 38 evolved) - Follow the left part of the beach. At some point there is a small stair that leads to some grass, go through it and follow the beach again. (Screen-shot in spoiler if needed) - You will see a cave entrance, enter it. In the cave, use the first ladder you see. - Follow the cave, there is only one way. At some point you have to use dive, go dive and go up. The quest actually begins now. - Dived up? -> Welcome to the quest area. - Go to the inner cave: 'Diamond Empire Foyer' - Take the right entrance. 'Diamond Empire East Wing' - Move the Nosepases to the sparkeling switches. They are not hard to understand. - Enter the entrance which was blocked by eletricity before - You dont go back to Foyer, the entrance is in the Wing - Beat the mini Boss - hes easy. - Go back to the Foyer - Take the left entrance 'Diamond Empire West Wing' - Enter the next entrance - It must be night now (or you are lucky, idk). Always take the entrances where the lamp lights are on. If no lamp is on and its night, turn the dynamic light settings on. - I forgot what comes now, I think again some easy boss. - A message roughly like "smt rumbless" must come, if not, you need to do smt else in your current area. Message yes?! -> Go back to the Foyer - Enter the last entrance which was blocked before where the rails and Carbink's are - Do the totally boring and annoing pseudo PvP - Chess game - Tipp: U need to use your brain (Or you use the guide in the spoiler). When you dont understand the game, you wont win. (Or use the guide) - Do the boss, hes a bit harder now. - Beat the rock, it is actually strong. - Get your sync and Master Ball - Enjoy your trash iv Gentle Diancie

  18. Hi there! Contact me if you want me to design your guild logo in game based on your favorite poke or any other picture. You will have to provide a reference. Payment will vary based on the complexity of the design. If you're new and need a simple logo ill do it for whatever you can afford so dont hesitate to message me. Large and highly detailed logos arent possible due to the limitation of the grid. Good references- flame of charmander's tail sableye's crystal or eye face of haunter scyther's blade slowbro's shell Bad references- full body pokemon a real person's photo your in game character anything thats considered even borderline inappropriate. contact me here, in game or on discord

  19. I mentioned this exampe because yu gi oh players are in the same situation as us , a game with its own economy and market , where the most expensive items are the most likely to get banned. My point was to show how Yu-gi-oh players deal with it and how we should learn something from them.

  20. What i'm about to say is going to get alot of hate so let's get this over with. While i understand your anger and frustration , you need to know that pokemon pvp is not a game where you can exactly predict what's going to be really op in the meta 100% ( with exceptions of course ) . I myself wrote a post months ago about banning mega sableye , but i was never in favor of instantly banning it. Everything deserves a chance , and it's your job to keep up with the pvp meta and try and predict what is going to be and not going to be banned , and act accordingly . That is what winrate and usage stats are for at the end of each month ( i know i'm contradicting myself a bit here because it hasnt been a month since wave 3 , but if you kept up a bit with what was going on on the pvp cuncil, you would have known that alot of well known big pvp names and council members have been demanding a mawile ban and a sableye ban was inevitable if mawile gets banned since they come in a pack) , not to mention that people have been crying FOREVER in the pvp council fora greninja ban. Pro staff are not obligated to tell you what will be banned, do your own research for that. You re complaining about spending hours hunting only for pro to ban that said mon , but look at another game like Yu-gi-oh. People are spending actual money to buy the cards , (unlike pro which uses virtual money) , and are buying and selling them all the time for insane prices . Here are some examples: (as of current date) -Ten Thousand Dragon, worth around $188 -Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrier, worth around $171 - Sengenjin, worth around $107 And yet , Konami bans /limits Yu-gi-oh cards OUT OF NOWHERE ALL THE TIME. People are losing ACTUAL MONEY because of this . So, what's the solution to this you ask? They just keep up with the meta and the usage stats , and predict what is going to be banned or limited and sell them beforehand. It's not Konami's job to refund the players who lost their money , it's their job to balance the game. And this is the exact same case with pro right now. Although the banning process was handled very poorly from walross and the rest of the staff , these bans were kind of predictable if you have taken 10 minutes of your time to look at #council-chat in the pro pvp council discord. Heck if you asked any decent player , they would have told you that mawile and greninja are absolutely broken in the current meta state. Sorry to say this but money frog has overstayed it's welcome , i agree with these quickbans ( aside from metagross , but if that's the sacrifice i have to make to get rid of the others, i'll take it any day of the week)

  21. @g3n3r4l am still waiting for your answer! and am pretty sure that many other players are interest to hear what you will see! if you dont remember i will attach a screenshot and also i will type again my question. you said: " i mean right now, all the pokes currently in the game have been around for a long time. currently as we can see from the pvp council discord, there are no active debates going on, so nothing is at risk. volc and char are basically at no rosk of being banned though, so you're fine with them" first i want to say : before 2 or 3 years greninja was in the list of pokemon that it was in no risk for getting ban. but now it is banned. suddenly. since it was in no risk back in 2-3 years there are exist players that give hours-days- months of their time to hunt an epic unique one back then. or there are players that paid 5-30m to buy epic one, back in those years again. so suddenly we learned before some months that greninja now is at risk. and it will might get ban. now about my question : this thing it might happen for any other pokemon in the next 2 years. since it happens for greninja. then who can guarantee that it will not happen again (for example) for charizard? so since noone can guarantee that then answer to the players plz, : why to try hard and spend their hours to find an epic unique poke or try hard to gather pokemoney to pay for an epic poke or in the worst case to spend their money to buy coin capsules and get fast the amount of pokemoney that they need in order to buy an epic unique poke , since there is no guarantee from anyone that this poke in the future it might get ban !!!! even if its in no risk now ofc. am sorry for my bad english. i tryed to type it as simple as i could.

  22. Greetings, @taskiner You can purchase a Mysterious Candy in the PvP, PvE Coin Shops or in any Department Store and then use it like a Rare Candy on your Sliggoo, even at level 100. You need to use it in an area where it rains. To know if it rains, enable the Weather effects in your option settings ingame. One of the most frequent places is Pastoria City in Sinnoh, where it almost always rains. You can use a Candy there and it should trigger your evolution prompt. Please, let me know if this has worked for you :)

  24. Hey guy's i'm the dude with the 23m Mawile. Press F for respects. But I agree with this post more so on the pvp councils thoughts were completely ignored on these bans. If there is a ban so be it however if you have pvp council to guide that decision ,and you don't listen or don't care about the feedback then that's an issue. Although I got to say hopefully I can beat the stall meta one day in Gen 7. :T Mega Mawile for the win!

  26. And when will they get released? We should wait years them to get released, and just let our poke stay in the pc for years, beacuse a few amount of players cant deal with Greninja? Or Mega Mawile? When Tapus gonna gets released, players will be forced to create a tactic to counter Tapu+Lucha combo, since its broken. Of course, unless they ban it, but since they are totally allowed in Showdown, its not gonna go anywhere. 2 maybe 3 of the bans were right, but Greninja (and Mega Mawile) should be still allowed in pvp, since we basicly cut down different playstyles, teams that require these 2 mons. Balance/stall works perfectly with normal Sableye too, and they pretty much prefer it, as I know. According to Mega Metagross, its strong, fast, but not hard to counter, so if anything, that has the highest chance to be removed from the "banlist".

  29. Sir , Pls dont bann greninja in pvp . it have many counters and it's is one of the best pokemon its less powered then why is it banned?
    1 point
  30. No. Since there are only 25 places on ladder, only the ppl with the highest rating can reach ladder. And when you only need 50 games per season, its a proof for themselfes. Its harder to reach top 25 with a 80% winrate and 50 games than spam games and reach it with a 65% winrate. When you have such a winrate, over and over, you have knowledge. I also have no idea how you come to the idea that those are "showdown players" when its a tournament hold on showdown with PRO rules?! They are PRO player, not showdown player. The only difference for showdown are the IVs on the Pokemon and the platform itself. Mistake, yes. But your reasoning is far behinde any sense. Like wtf, nothing in your post makes sense. Read it again and think what you are writing. Such a bs in so many ways. No offense.
    1 point
  31. +1, very good suggestion. Its especially useful towards the end of the season to see how far off you are from top25 or top10.
    1 point
  32. +1. The reason, too op is not a valid reason, no matter who say it. Mega Sableye and Metagross van is rather understandable, while Mawile is so so, I would still rather face it, than the incoming meta after this season. Regarding to Greninja, I dont have anything to say, the reason too op is not a valid reason, its a joke, but they had to ban it, congratulation. With this ratio, players will lose interest not just in the pvp system, but in the game itself.

  34. I believe the poll is lacking bulky offense, offense and semi-stall as options to be voted (rather than every weather team mentioned, as those usually fall under balance, bo or offense), which will prolly result in most of the people playing those archetypes voting for balance and only a few for ho/stall. Despite my reasoning, assuming that the majority of players most likely wouldn't be able to tell the difference between those archetypes and some other (witnessed numerous of times people calling balance stall), the suggested options may actually be alright

  36. +1 I really wanted to understand what goes on in the head of the staff. She wanted there to be at least a logical explanation for banning these Pokémon, without even having heard the Council. What is happening is really sad! They seem to like to see a PvP packed with stall players.

  37. +1 We were a bit unprepared for these bans. I think moving them to suspect testing and communicating with the community may be a good idea.

  40. Honestly i've never showed any interest in the pvp scene but the pvp council thing seems to be dead content without the right attitude of certain staff members. Another thing i'm wondering; is it just me or does somebody else recognize stuff is being added to the game so people spend a shitload of hours into hunting those pokes. They spent all these hours into getting a pvpable pokemon because it's nice or overpowered and it will just get banned from pvp. I doubt it's because there is no research but the intention to waste peoples time on this game.
