Hello, I would like to propose that the substitute movement change depending on whether the pokemon has skin or not, in the same way that you have a substitute with skin for a shiny pokemon, such as a pink pokemon, the substitute is pink, as shown In the attached images, the images are only to imply my proposal visually, I am not really a pixel artist or anything, I only use paint,I know game artists could do a much better job,THANK YOU FOR TAKING THE DISCOMFORT OF READING MY PROPOSAL. ;D16 points

Hi. I don't do PvP all that much and one of the reasons is, anonymity. I feel there should be a choice if I want to reveal my identity or leave it as anonymous. I have a YouTube phobia. What if my loss not only embarrasses me but gives a YouTuber 400K views. Okay I was exaggerating there but, in all seriousness. I just want to suggest some type of way to stay anonymous for a PvP match. Thankyou for reading and taking the time. ThatKid7 points

No, we sadly only accept CC as alternative payment :( Btw, bumping thread! I'll make it a fun bump though. Did you know that Charles Darwin's tortoise did not pass away until recently? So old o_o Did you know you could toast 100.000 pieces of bread with a single lightning? Free sandwiches for days! Did you know Taxis in London have to memorise literally every road? (Kinda false because I got lost there once lol) Did you know Dolphins actually give each other names to identify each other and call each other? And I still get confused when someone calls me by my name and not Bhimoso lol. Did you know a man was struck by lightning seven times and survived it? (I bet it was a Chansey under rain).3 points

Welcome, everyone! This will be an extremely quick guide on how to get a Rattata to level up quickly to 80 to travel to Hoenn. Let's begin! This is going to be a really mini guide so as to get your Rattata ready for Hoenn, to be able to fight Youngster Joey. If you want to go to Hoenn, you need to capture any Rattata (it has to be yours) and you have to train it to 80 (or ask a friend to do it). However, I'll assume you have no friends you want to train it yourself without having to pay anyone else. If you want to level up Rattata safely, I will leave you a few steps that will be very useful for you. 1.- Capture a Rattata with the ability Run Away. This isn't obligatory but it will ensure 100% success rate when you want to flee a wild pokemon battle. You can hunt one in Route 1 as in a single fight it will ALWAYS level up to level 38 or so. 2.- Visit the Bug Catching Contest in Johto and participate in it. Try to finish in the first 3 spots. You will obtain some PvE Coins. 3.- Visit the PvE Coin Exchanger in Saffron or Goldenrod City. Purchase an Air Balloon. 4.- Visit Fuchsia Gym. Purchase a TM Toxic. 5.- Travel to Mt Silver 1F, 2F or 3F. Equip Air Balloon to Rattata and teach it TM Toxic. Mt Silver 2F requires fighting some trainers but it's the easiest place to train it. Mt Silver 1F is also fine. 6.- Flee from all wild pokemon using Run Away and when you find a Quagsire which is level 52 or below, use Toxic on them. Then, keep attacking until they die. If you have Air Balloon equipped, you will be immune to Earthquake, which is their only attacking move. Free and easy experience! Before the method. After only two fights. We will repeat this process until our little Rat is at level 80 and we can fight Youngster Joey! All his Rattata are level 120. Job is done! (keep in mind I used a different Rattata for this screenshot) If you need a Video Guide on this method, please use this link. We can easily destroy him by using a low level Geodude with Sturdy and Stealth Rocks (to ensure we can use it once), and then a Machamp with No Guard can oneshot his entire team with a single Dynamicpunch per Rattata. Unleash your STAND Dynamic Punches to defeat Joey! He will be waiting there, between the two Elite Four buildings. After you defeat Joey, you can now talk to the Hoenn Traveler and travel to Hoenn! Big warning: Once you go inside, THERE'S NO GOING BACK UNTIL YOU BEAT HOENN'S ELITE FOUR. Good luck! Pack up your things , get ready, purchase anything you may need and go there! I hope you enjoyed the guide and I hope you newbies are successful in your Hoenn Adventure!2 points

"really big and unfair advantage" No. Just no. Half the ladder playerbase knows what my teams are and it doesn't really matter, because anyone with the skill to pose a challenge would have extrapolated likely sets to a point where they can play accurately by Team Preview. In fact, it's almost easier to deal with someone that knows your team, because they will often think linearly rather than completely. No one on ladder is going to bother to directly counterteam a single player. If you see a Volcarona paired with two solid Heatran answers, it's probably not Hidden Power Ground. With regard to the suggestion at large, it seems infeasible because of the difficulty it would impose on moderation. Anonymity also makes people bolder in the face of rules, which would be a further negative impact on a community that can be somewhat toxic already. Regarding being "exposed" on Youtube: Everyone loses. So what? -12 points
-
I like this idea because it can prevent players from taunting each other (what is an issue PRO struggles to deal with since most part of the time there are no moderators online...), it can also permit to limit opponent teams leaks (what I feel is good for pvp).2 points

Denied as you get the option to refuse and go back after clicking on of these buttons.2 points

I'm not against a more flexible zoom than the one we have currently, but against the overall idea of bringing the complete staffview back Mostly because of this point, explained here; A better zoom, that does not interfere too much with the content team and offers players a decent variety of options to zoom in/out would be optimal in my opinion2 points

Changelog 11.08.2020: Bumped Unity to newest version. Ball animations show the ball while summoning and catching a Pokemon now. We save the balls you caught Pokemon with from now on. All previously caught Pokemon were set to Pokeball. The ball used to catch a Pokemon is displayed in the Pokemon card now. [*]Reworked swaping move positions in pokecards from arrows to drag and drop. BEFORE, AFTER [*]Reworked the client options menu. Added Show D-Pad and Relative Touch Control options. Keybindings can be removed with Escape now. [*]Reworked code parts in the Windows client patcher to make verifying a lot faster. [*]Fixed a bug where changing your Pokemon resulted in changing enemies Pokemon. [*]Super/Not very effective sound parsing which resulted in playing the wrong sound sometimes works correctly now. [*]Fixed Ferroseeds abilities, it can no longer become Anticipation. [*]Struggle no longer gets the priority from the selected move. [*]Fixed/Improves EXP mathematics. [*]Poison Touch works properly with Protect now. [*]Contrary works correctly with Intimidate now. [*]Outrage and Protect work correctly together now. [*]Outrage can only hit three times now. [*]Life Orb and Water Shuriken work properly with Water Absorb now. [*]Pressure works as intended now. [*]White Herb gets consumed now. [*]Encore and Disable work as intended now. [*]U-Turn works properly now. [*]Volt Switch works properly now. [*]Baton Pass works properly now. Baton Pass passes SPATK now. Baton Pass has priority with Prankster now. [*]Healing Wish works now. [*]Lunar Dance works now. [*]Substitute works now. [*]Protect works correctly after enemy's switch out now. [*]Foul Play ignores enemies ability and holding item now. [*]Choice items do not lock you anymore when the move does not go off due to paralyze, flinch etc. [*]Minimize now raises the user's evasion by two stages, instead of one. [*]Simple Beam works now. [*]Leech Life heals correctly now. For some reason it healed 50% of the attackers life. [*]A few moves still had Gen5-6 Base Powers and Accuracies. They were updated to Gen7. Base Power: Assurance, Chatter, Draco Meteor, Energy Ball, Hydro Pump, Lick, Magma Storm, Overheat, Power Gem, Smog, Surf, Thunder, Thunderbolt, Vine Whip, Meteor Mash and Leaf Storm. Accuracy: Gunk Shot, Poison Gas, Psycho Shift, Will-O-Wisp, Meteor Mash, Roar, Topsy-Turvy and Whirlwind. [*]Trick Room and Wonder Room will now be used if the opponent switches in a Pokemon that dies to Stealth Rock. [*]Battle Bond works now. Water Shuriken gets 20 BP and always hits 3 times with activated Battle Bond. Greninja with Battle Bond is not yet catchable. [*]Stance Change works now. [*]King's Shield works now. [*]Mega Evolutions are implemented now. Megastones cannot be removed in battles (via Knock Off, Trick or Thief f.e.). NPCs can mega evolve their Pokemon correctly now. Pokemon can hold Megastones but Pokemon holding Megastones and Megastones are not tradable. More and more Megastones will be available in-game with new content over time. [*]If a Pokemon dies before the opponent used a move the move will be used and fail now. This is the correct behaviour, triggers choice items lock and reveals a possible new move. [*]Fixed a bug where Destiny Bond killed the wrong Pokemon. [*]Fake Out and Truant work correctly with U-Turn, Volt Switch and Baton Pass now. They used to fail if used after getting switched in via one of these moves. [*]Tailwind works correctly with Prankster now. Prankster should be fully fixed with that. [*]Filter works now. [*]Endure may fail if used in succession now. [*]White Herb gets consumed correctly now. [*]Reworked Encore and Disable, Struggle works correctly with that now. [*]Focus Sash works correctly with Hazards, Stealth Rock, Spikes and Poison now. Shedinja with Focus Sash is no longer banned in Ranked PvP. [*]Added [iCODE]/surrender[/iCODE] command and button in battles. [iCODE]/surrender[/iCODE] works in all battles, counts as a loss and has a five minutes cooldown in Ranked PvP battles. The five minutes cooldown is only for the command and has nothing to do with the battles. [iCODE]/surrender[/iCODE] does not add a ten minutes cooldown to enter the Ranked PvP Queue again. [*]Added [iCODE]/draw[/iCODE] command in Ranked PvP battles. [iCODE]/draw[/iCODE] only works in PvP battles and ends without a winner or loser. Draw requests can only be sent alternately to avoid spam requests. The draw requests expire after 30 seconds. [*]Technician works properly now. It didn't use the base power before. [*]Expert Belt works properly for physical moves now. [*]Fixed three bugs that possibly made your PvP battles go stuck. The first bug happened when both Pokemon died with Weather Effects involved. The second bug happened when you went in Queue with a dead Pokemon. That's the bug where you summoned a Pokemon and it instantly died and made your battle stuck. [*]The third bug was a combination of switching moves and Choice lock items. [*]Fixed an urgent bug in received and sent mails. [*]Removed Xanascript shops entirely from the server code. [*]Added user.gender in Python. [*]Changed quite a bit of the client-server API. We use the UID instead of the index in many cases now. [*]Pokemon instantly get an UID now. [*]Fixed a bug with the max visible users. The code was simply wrong and caused that users stopped moving, disappeared or took too long to appear. Reworked NPC LoS with the same code. [*]Fixed a bug where Xanascript NPCs returned the wrong Hidden Power. [*]Client battle code completely reworked and battle animations slightly changed. This does not include attack animations. [*]Catch rate was adjusted to the handhelds and every shake has a chance to break out now. [*]Added many cosmetics (mounts, headgears) and tiles for future content. [*]Reworked PvP timer. Everyone has a 180 seconds overall timer that gets +15 seconds every round. Infinite time stalling should not be possible anymore. [*]Improved layer handling. The Pokedex and other stuff don't flicker anymore. [*]The catch rate chance has been reworked based on gen7 and works as intend now. It should be easier to catch pokemon like Beldum. [*]Many, many, many code optimizations, clean-ups, small reworks and bug fixes. Known Issues in Mega Edition These are no new bugs but affect this update Multi-hits do not heal absorb abilities (escept Water Absorb). Multi-hits do not have Independent calculations.2 points

After spending way too much time trying to beat the Fire Elder and going through that freakin' water maze a hundred times, I decided to make this thread to help any of you who may also be having a hard time with this NPC Battle from the Legendary Bird Quest. If you picked Torchic as your Hoenn starter you're in luck, as this is the Pokemon that will solo his entire team once set up properly! Otherwise you can buy one for pretty cheap off of another player. It does not need any specific IVs or Nature, however you will need to max the EVs in SpDef and HP because you better bet your boots that Torkoal, the first Pokemon on the Elder's team, will spam Earth Power as much as he can before you finish setting up! You'll be wanting to have your Blaziken hold Leftovers to increase your odds but the most important here is the move-set. You absolutely need Rock Slide, Bulk Up, and Double Team which the last may be the most annoying to find. The fourth move is not important at all. What you want to do is simply Double Team 6x in a row and then Bulk Up 6x, after that all that's left is to sweep his team with Rock Slide. You shouldn't run into any problems unless you miss your Attack and the opposing Pokemon manages to hit you even with all your increased evasiveness, or if you get poisoned while your health was lowered too much by your first fight against Torkoal. Here's the Blaziken I used for reference: Don't give up, Good luck!1 point

@Saturnalien I think both methods are good based on what you need. You are right in that setting up Volcarona might be a bit easier during the battle, however consider that for my method you do not need to use another Pokemon to be able to set up. Not to mention that using a story Blaziken is more readily available to most people whilst letting them skip hunting and training one or more Pokemon that are more annoying to find. With this set, after getting a few Double Teams in, you are pretty much golden.1 point

I understand this falls under the potentially implementable section of suggestions but nonetheless this is something I would like to advocate for the following reasons: PROS Adds PvP game diversity and extra dimensions of gameplay avenues previously withheld from us to counter the current meta Magnet Rise and Roost are already coded correctly in the game to my knowledge, and the way those moves interact makes it seem like gravity should be a low effort move to add which helps offset its small or gimmicky usage as is CONS Requires resources put into it to be coded while being low usage and generally held a gimmick move. Though true, as mentioned, as far as I can tell this move has the tools already in place to quickly implement it would appear and just because a move is niche does not mean it is bad or should be neglected. Rather it should be viewed as a investment of how worthwhile it is to take time to be added versus other efforts EDIT: Also did not consider the effort that would go into an addition of a move tutor for gravity so pokemon like Mew could learn it or if it would get added along with it in any case ------------------------------------- Just wanted to bring attention to this and I hope others would agree that this is a quick and easy fix to add another quality of life improvement. I know I would highly appreciate this for a team I think has some insane potential in the current meta with such a cool niche move. Thanks again for any consideration towards this I appreciate it.1 point

Another thing i realized for this however. Breaking the rules will be so much easier. That's just it, you won't have your name shown which means your opponent won't know who you are, and therefore won't be able to report you. You won't be able to tell them anything in battle chat in terms of stop time stalling, or something they aren't allowed to do in game, because you won't know who it is. And if the pvp glitches as to where you can't battle anymore, who can you pm to ask which of you will dc. The simple answer is you can't. You can't report anyone because you don't know who they are, and you can't talk to them about it in battle chat whatsoever. After thinking about this i think i'm putting my vote as a -11 point

+1 I think it can be a really good thing for the game for many reasons : 1) If you share your games on Youtube. -> Actually, people can check your move set / items / ivs very easily. This is a really big and unfair advantage. With this system, they can be hidden if they want / need. 2) There will be less flame / taunt / insults in the battle chat with this system. You can't send an annoying PM if you don't know your opponent 3) The pvp battle will be fairer. It will be harder / impossible to share important information like move set with your friends / guild. With this system , each player will have same information : NONE. We need to check / think during the game and we shouldn't have an advantage knowing that this Volcarona is HP Ice (for example) BEFORE the game. I hope it will be implemented in the future Thanks1 point

The truth is that a defeat should never be embarrassing in any way but youtubers like to « expose » others by acting like they were some kind of talented invincible pvp player, what is clearly not the case...1 point

Setting up Volca is way easier though. You just need a bold one with decent def and hp. Use torkoal with yawn first, then setup Volca with 3 or 4 quivers and done. Also Air Balloon Chandelure can be helpful too.1 point

No, there are already so many restrictions for staff rewards, staff rewards consistently get nerfed because certain reasons I won't disclose. They are much worse from when I started as staff, more restrictive. It's astonishing how disrespectful people are in these threads, disregarding the amount of time people consistently and without question put into this game. People like Shinohara, Epiales and many others who don't even claim their rewards or give theirs away but still do/did a lot on an average day. Majority of the player-base are acting is if we can sell them, make money of them or anything like that or is if they were broken in PvP & staff are all Top25 players. I looked loosely through the Top25 from both servers from the last 6 months, 2 user names stuck out. Smooge and Belzebel both who have a staff reward. Smooge got his like 2 weeks ago and Belzebel was on Top25 a lot of times before that and not sure if she even uses her staff reward. Astro was also once on ladder, Top25 placement. People asked about tournament rewards even though that is nonsense, they are tradeable/were tradeable and can be obtained every month. What do you have to-do for that? Actually just play the game and be good at it, it's something you enjoy already. What do staffs have to do? They have to for starters succeed in the apprenticeship which alone takes 1-2 months for some even longer, then still be active and actively do your duties as staff member for 6 straight months. Staff rewards especially the staff Pokemon are even then still subject to activity, you can't just play with your thumbs for 6 months and expect a staff Pokemon. Those staff Pokemon then are very restrictive in what we can do with them, for starters they are locked, we can only use 2 of them in ranked PvP and shown above barely anyone even does that. Closing, Staff Pokemon will never change and not go away no matter how often the community complains about them. As a matter of fact without staff, you wouldn't have any new cosmetics, no new quest, no new maps, no new Pokemon sprites, no events. If you got scammd? Tough luck because Trade Mods are the ones helping you, some racist guy spams the n-word on end? Tough luck, Moderators are the ones dealing with that. Game economy? Bug Abusers/Botters? Tough luck, Game Masters deal with that. Stuck with a quest, butchered bugs that make your play-through impossible? Scripters and CCs help you with that. There wouldn't be a game without staff, plain and simple and them getting rewarded for the time they put in for a long time seems only reasonable on top of the fact that most of the statements made here are over overexaggerated. Shinohara will most likely post here as well but I'll lock this post as it serves no purpose other than to complain about something that won't be changed.1 point

This is just my opinion, the game we play is definitely not PvP, I want to give an example The pokemon named Chansey regains his life just by throwing "softboiled" and continues it. If your team has "spatk" pokemon, you lost the game and you cannot do anything. Speed boost blaziken ban ridiculous, just every lap speed is increasing, and it can be stopped with moves such as much punch, extreme speed, aqua jet how Unaware Clefable is also very common, like Quiver dance volcorana and dragon dance Dragonite. - Azumarill gains 400 attack damage with his ability ''Huge Power'' and its notbanned. - As Conkeldurr is burned because of his "guts" ability, his attack power increases but its not banned. -And these two have their own priority attacks. I know that "Mega speed boost Blaziken" is very powerful . But I don't think the normal Blaziken is that powerful, with Max EVS, he only has 370 attack damage and no priority attack. I just want PvP to be playable without more cancer, but it's not good to be defeated by stall teams every day. Please bring back speed boost blaziken. Now I ask you, do you think the PvP we're playing is a real player competition or just a boss fight? The comment is up to you.1 point

Pro Player made guide to dig spots What do i want to accomplish from this? Well With the new Changes to dig spots Comes new spawns for each area with dig spots. I Want to make a list/guide showing all the dig spots. But to do that i need The community's help since it would take ages for one person to get enough data of all the dig spots. Now this is all Voluntary, you don't have to help but it would be greatly appreciated. All i want people to do is when your doing your dig spots for a route/cave please post what you find in this comment section. Try to make it neat and very understandable.
