I have been extremely vocal about the failure of the implementation and treatment of the "Official" PvP Council for PRO. First, we must understand what PRO created the PvP Council for. Its purpose, as defined by PRO is: Source: https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/topic/159114-introducing-the-pvp-council/ Speaking of that post, please review my initial view on this announcement: https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/topic/159114-introducing-the-pvp-council/?do=findComment&comment=904730 The PvP Council discord started off really well. Council members were discussing every other day or so. Daily activity wasn't necessarily needed, just enough to keep things active. However, it quickly feel apart due to lack of leadership and support from PRO Staff. I'll go through some examples on how leaderships inaction and slow reactions began to lose the councils trust in the system: Example 1: Council members need to wait 2+ weeks for official responses to requests. Example 2: Council members begin to leave the council due to lack of confidence in the system. Example 3: Walross confirms wave three mega bans, etc, will "most likely" be discussed by the PvP PRO Council. Example 4: More council members begin to express their lack of confidence in the system created. I encourage you to join the "PRO PvP Council" Discord and review #council-chat for yourself. Note the timestamps of #announcements made by Walross. Wave three mega bans discussions where never began in #council-chat by Walross as stated in Example 3 above, leading to Example 4. Also note absolutely NOTHING posted in #council-announcements or #suspect-results-votes as of the posting of this thread. OKAY, SO HOW CAN WE FIX IT? Step 1: Move everything in "Pokemon Revolution Online" Official Discord. Step 2: Re-establish the council to 7 total members. Then have these 7 members vote on appointing a council lead. Step 3: All voting will be viewable by the public in #council-voting. Each member has 1 vote worth 1 point, while a member of PRO Staff has 1 vote worth 3 points. Ties are decided by Council Lead. Step 4: Respect from PRO Staff.24 points

These bans are worse than the <bad thing>, it is dragging with the whole pc (I mean many pokemon) Now the only thing that will be given to play is alomomolas, dittos, chansey, and little else, the truth is that the game is beginning to bore me from my point of view. Could you at least not take away greninja from us?8 points

We always look for constructive criticism regarding decisions we make, but when those discussions start to be negative and toxic is when we must stop and because I have seen that you're insulting each other, I am going to close this topic and delete all negative comments/issue warnings punishments.5 points

Dear Staff members , Pvp Council members, Firstly thanks for the efforts done by anyone who does spend a part of their time trying to enhance the game for free whether reaching a good outcome or not. Kindly I've few comments : 1- Exciting the users with a new patch with new good megas then banning them result in a lot of negativity and depression to users who started having fun with the new stuff in the new patch. 2- Absolutely against the waste of efforts and money spent by buyers and hunters in game for the later banned pokes, For example: - You let a user hunt for hours and days a poke then get all of this effort trashed is unfair. - Those users who spent tons of money buying epic pokes like for example this guy who spent over 23m for an epic mawile few days ago then getting his poke banned and for plenty of other users is unfair for them and for the spent hours on grinding cash. - The spent hours on quests for mega pokes also by a lot of users are a waste of time. - The formed teams and money spent on pokes to coupe along with the freshly banned pokes is unfair. I don't mind having an op poke banned like bb greninja or mawile mega but all I'm saying is, it should be banned previously before releasing the patch and tested specially by the pvp Council not after the release with seasons and sometimes can go for a long while like with aegislash. If the pvp community need a hype of a variety they should discuss with votes on suggestions with the council whether to have a strong meta with a lot of options of previous banned pokes or nerfed ones like galewings of talon , bb ninja , speed boost blaziken and so on of op abilities, moves or stones etc.. Or whether to have a balanced meta like the current one to make it fair for h.o team users/ stall teams users/ balanced teams users. Kindly review the PRO Community members on their demands and comments on the last ban cause a lot of complains have been made and kindly review those notes in this thread. Thanks and regards.3 points

Totally agree with the sableye ban. Might understand mawile since you need a real counter against it But just banning the stall breakers is really too much. It simply benefits the stall players, which take all the fun out of the game, with a team that requieres the least skill. So why you are helping players that destroy the game, just so they can feel better about themselfes, with ratings and wins they dont deserve. Why promote a tactic that is forbidden in any entertaining big sport or game?3 points

+1 People give the reason Greninja in gen6 is banned. Well, this is Pro, not SD. Why do we even care about that? We have several changes to Gen7, just to mention Talonflame's ability. We are in Gen6? Than give it back to it. Banning Greninja just beacuse Protean makes it good, and the reason "too op" is not a valid reason, just straight up killing the pvp even more, and promoting stall even more. With this logic, lets ban things like Mega Lopunny, beacuse it can hit ghost types with fighting or normal moves.3 points

-1 as much as i find the greninja easy to take down, in generation 6 it’s uber, it makes sense to be banned, we’re not in generation 7, we don’t have tapu and z-move, so this ban is fair, you may not agree, but it is the truth.3 points

Hello, Diancie chess puzzle is a super annoying part of Diancie quest. I made this guide to help ppl stop from suffering this badly designed quest and enjoy the game more. I found out this is my best strat to win with more than 80% wr. Due to RNG, technically you can miss everything so there will never be a guarantee win, but trust me, this is much better than almost any current strategy ppl using, I able to help 5 ppl won 5 times a row and super fast if u lucky enough. the first few turns always the same but can be different later, so my guide will only include the first 3 turns so ppl can stop asking why my board completely different than some youtube videos, gladly i'm here for u Turn 1: RNG doesn't matter Turn 2: RNG doesn't matter Turn 3: it's ok if you miss 90% acc rockslide on any those Yanmega but should pior to kill offensive yanmega first next turn in order ( jolly > modest > defensive nature). Also the miss Toxic on greninja is fine. Turn 4: from this turn, it will be slightly different for everyone so no Picture. You should move jolly Carbink to rock slide Delphox ( better not miss this 90% ) then use timid Carbink to atk jolly or modest yanmega with ancient power. both defense Carbink should try to toxic greninja. Turn 5+: atk bold ninjask with timid Carbink, then use everything you have left to kill greninja and don't forget to set up light screen again. This Poke have +2 eva so good luck.1 point

Disclamer: i wrote this post about 3 months ago and posted it in the pro pvp council discord chat , so from my perspective here i'm speaking before the introduction of wave 3 ,and it was copied straight from discord, so some wording might be off , i'm a bit lazy to just go through it and change it. Since council chat is lively , only a few people managed to read this post and it was just lost in chat and that's the reason why im reposting this here. Hi, today i would like to make a rant about the upcoming mega sabeleye in wave 3 , and that it deserves some looking into. Experienced players know how strong of a defensive presence mega sableye is . It walls everything that is not a dedicated wall breaker and that does not rely on setup , and ones that do rely on setup are walled by its partners ( unaware clefable and skarmory since its basically played only on stall anyways) . Mega sableye will never get 2 hkoed unless its facing something like a nuke mon that does not fear getting burned ( like darmanitan) , but thoes can be easily worn down or walled by its partners. In gen 7 , mega sableye was not a huge problem due to the plethora of fairy types ruling the tier (the tapus) that can easily check it ( tapu fini with misty terrain and moonblast , and tapu lele with its nuking stabs, with both of them having access to taunt to cripple whatever sableye is switching out into) ,and also due to the various powerhouses like kartana that hit extremely hard , not to mention z moves that make it possible to break through it . Even though pro is using gen 7 mechanics and moves, its much much closer to gen 6 so far because the meta defining pokemon of gen 7 are not available yet in pro. I will now bring up the biggest 3 points i can think of as to why mega sableye will be a problem 1- Mega sableye has tremendous bulk and will almost never be 2hkoed by non super effective moves: This means that mega sableye can shrug off hits from these mons and retaliate with nasty status , a knock off that will really annoy whatever is switching into it , any other attack , or even get the opportunity to set up with calm mind even though that's kind of rare to see. It can basically stay as long on the field as it wants because the list of pokemon able to break it is not that long , and the ones that can switch into it safely can be easily handled by its partners , which brings me to my next point. 2- The Lack of viable fairies in the meta : Like previously mentioned , mega sableye is very hard to ohko by a non super effective move , and since it's only weak to fairy we do not have many options. So what fairies that are viable in the meta can handle it? -Magic guard Clefable : can easily switch into anything mega sableye does , but does not appreciate getting knocked off. But also cannot exactly do anything once it's in due to the combination of its partner chansey and unaware clefable ( which are and should be on every decent stall team). -Unaware Clefable (Mg and unaware clefable do very different jobs so i'm seperating them): Can switch into mega sableye but does not appreciate getting burned or knocked off , and is heavily crippled by the occasional toxic. It could carry heal bell, but heal bell has only 8 pp compared to the huge pp numbers of toxic and will-o-wisp. Best thing it can do is wish into one of its partners as mega sableye switches out but the cycle will just repeat itself and mega sableye will have better longetivity overall. -Azumarill: Can almost never switch in safely in fear of a will-o-wisp , also does not apppreciate knock off(yeah im repeating this alot) , does not appreciate chip from it's attacks. The banded set is walled by skarmory , and the belly drum set is walled by unaware clefable and the opponent can easily figure out the set since sableye justt loves to spam knock off. -Mega altaria: Can easily take a hit from mega sableye , and doesnt mind getting burned that much if it's carrying heal bell or refresh. But can't exactly do much once it switches in , dragon dance sets are absolutely walled by unaware clefable and are hazard fodder for the sableye's skarmory partner , and bulky support variants also cannot do anything to clefable. -Togekiss: yeah no. -Alolan ninetales: well it's a fairy and it's kinda meta so i had to bring it up but it can't do anything to mega salbeye. -Mega gardevoir: while walled by chansey, it can carry an encore or a taunt to annoy it but it loses in the long run. - The incoming mega mawile: while mawile can ohko every variant of mega sableye with play rough, it can never switch into it safely in fear of a will-o-wisp, it also doesnt appreciate the chip from shadow ball. It can also never be brought it safely through volt/turn because there is no viable pivot who is slower than mega sableye. Meaning the only way to get it in is to have to sacc a mon to be able to switch it in , or to hard switch on the sableye which is very risky. In addition , mega mawile does not always carry play rough because of its wide movepool and its desperate need for coverage ( knock off , sucker punch , fire fang , thunder fang , swords dance , focus punch , iron head , play rough, the very rare rock slide or stone edge for zapdos etc... ) and if it's carrying play rough but not carrying to perfect set to break through its partners , it can't really do much. The best thing it can do is make a dent in the opposing team when played very well which can lead to breaking the stall team eventually , but that's all in theory, applying it in an actual match is a bit harder. - The incoming mega diancie (?) : while mega diancie can bounce status back on mega sableye and threaten it with moonblast , it's kind of walled by its partner chansey since diamond storm has a 54.5% chance to 3hko chansey , and diancie not having access to taunt. **While there are some other pokemon that come to mind that can break through /annoy mega sableye and are not fairy type , they are also not exactly solutions : - Heatran : does not appreciate getting knocked off , can kind of shrug off the chip from other attacks thanks to leftovers , it can't really do much once it's in. It can't put up rocks or taunt it due to magic bounce ( which i'll get to later) , magma storm from defensive heatran does not even 2hko it , and even if it gets a flash fire boost from will-o-wisp , sableye can just sit on it and recover until it exhausts its measly 8 pp ( this is all assuming magma storms connects in the first place) - Mega charizard Y: while it can shrug off hits with roost and threaten sableye out due to its nuke fire stabs , it can't exactly come in every time if rocks are up , and is also competely walled by chansey. - Mega charizard X: while it sounds good on paper because it's very hard to wall , and can switch in to mega sableye basically for free , and set up for free , there is a reason mega charizard X has a 47% winrate at its peak last season. Its x4 weakness to rocks before it mega evolves is not exactly helping , it could be walled before it can set up by sableye's alomomola partner , slowbro , unaware quagsire and toxicked which basically puts it on a timer . It can take a pokemon or two down with it but the problem persists. -Keldeo: Keldeo is never a switch in , it really really does not like getting its specs or leftovers knocked off, and once they are , it really can't do much to sableye anymore , even if it manages to switch in on a will-o-wisp from sableye by any chance , specs hydro pump does 57.7 - 68.3% to spdef focused sableye , which it can just recover to scout the move it's locked into and switch into an appropriate teamate. And the calm mind set just loses to unaware clefable. - Mega pinsir : (edited in) While return threatens to 2hko all types of mega sableye , cannot exactly switch in to it in fear of getting will-o-wisped ,and is completely walled by skarmory . While it's usually partnered up with a magnezone which can trap skarmory , skarmories on stall often run shed shell for this very reason. ---These should be all the pokemon that i could think of that could possibly annoy mega sableye and why they are not viable answers. Would appreciate it if you tell me if i missed one or two. Now let's move the cherry on top. 3- Magic bounce : This is what all stall teams were missing all along : a way to shrug off the best way to deal with them ; hazards and status. This is how balance teams for example usually beat stall (balance has the best matchup against stall , but idk maybe bulky offense could be better): Since stall is really hard to break through by brute force , the premiere way to deal with it from a balance team's perspective is through continuous chip and patience. What would have been a 3hko is now a 2hko after stealth rocks chip . Their unaware clefable that was pestering you is getting slowly worn down by rocks and from passive damage from what could possibly be status (burn or toxic) or other status moves like leech seed , and you can finally break through with your setup sweeper once clefable is down or heavily chipped. Magic bounce basically negates all this and makes it alot harder to wear down the stall team over time. It can safely switch in against every single stealth rocker in the entire game , except for maybe jolly garchomp with rocks and swords dance and mold breaker excadrill with maybe toxic ( although the careful set with toxic exists , its ver rare) and again , thoes are easily handled by its partners. Magic bounce is just the perfect solution for all the problems stall was suffering from , it can beat taunters 1v1 and wall most of whatever stall was weak against. I'm pretty sure the only way to beat a well played stall team with mega sableye in it would be through pp stalling it ( happy Deidaraa noises) or waiting for the stall player to mess up which could very much happen . Either way i think it's going to be very opressive. To whoever reads this , thank you for your time , this was just me expressing my concerns towards what's coming in the soon to be here wave 3 and i hope you have a great day. Constructive criticism is obviously welcome.1 point

Honestly i've never showed any interest in the pvp scene but the pvp council thing seems to be dead content without the right attitude of certain staff members. Another thing i'm wondering; is it just me or does somebody else recognize stuff is being added to the game so people spend a shitload of hours into hunting those pokes. They spent all these hours into getting a pvpable pokemon because it's nice or overpowered and it will just get banned from pvp. I doubt it's because there is no research but the intention to waste peoples time on this game.1 point

@X71 By editing the time in the opening post it's unclear to the bidders at what exact time it ends. In the future please avoid doing so, to prevent confusion. To the bidders interested: Auction started on 22/4 at 2:55 PM GMT+0, with a duration of 58 hours. Meaning the ending point is on 25/4 at 0:55 AM GMT+0. Good luck.1 point

Hello, I am making this Suggestion because its a huge upside for hunting. The move Foul Play is right now coded incorrectly in PVE (it doesnt use the opponents atk) which makes weakening pokes with it impossible. With the move Foul play coded correctly, Umbreon will be a second all in one hunting pokemon besides mew (-roleplay) HOW IT WORKS: Umbreon with Synchronize -Charm -Foul Play -Yawn -Covet On the encounter u can weaken the pokemon with Foul Play, use Charm on high atk Pokemon, then Yawn them and send them to sleep. On a non target u can Covet the held item if needed. THE MAIN UPSIDE: Hunting for other Natures in BCC without Set changing / nature rerolling the mew, or waisting a lot of balls I assume this should be a quick change and it will have a fair amount of impact to hunting, especially if i am in an area with held items (switching costs a ton of time if u catch over 200 pokes f.e.)1 point

+1 There's no point in banning offensive [heck] like Aegislash and then keeping the king of stallfests. Unless ofc you want to have a toxic pvp environment, but you know... ain't gonna expect nothing smart about those who call themselves the pvp council.1 point

Welcome to my unofficial tier list for bosses! This post is still a WIP. I will update this post once or twice per month or depending if there are changes. This isn't a guide on how to beat bosses but an attempt to classify them by rankings. Due to the boss limit I decided to do a tier list so that you may identify the best bosses for monetary gains. In my opinion the top 15-30 spot of a boss list should be pretty much consistent for everyone. Please keep in mind that this is my personal opinion, I tried to be objective in most cases by looking at the usage of pokemons and their price of the market. This is the second version I made, due to the first one that broke when the forum changed. Every changelog will be posted at the bottom of the thread. Ranking S tier The best of the best. Those are bosses that have an insane or very good pool of pokemon along with excellent items and money rewards. Do not skip those. A tier Generally the most common bosses, which are worth doing as well. B tier Suboptimal bosses compared to the other tiers; fighting them is not recommended, unless the goal is to fetch a certain reward. It could also be worth fighting them if you don't have access to enough bosses from the other tiers. The rankings were chosen based on 3 principal criteria, in that order: 1. Pokemon pool available (3rd reward and random reward) 2. Item's reward available 3. Money reward A good pokemon pool is better than a good money reward in my opinion because it can net much more money (so can items). This could be showcased in certain situations. Tier list S+ tier S tier A+ tier A tier A- tier B+ tier Not worth doing in most cases - Sage & Pumpking King. Once again this is just my opinion. The rest of the post is still a WIP. Ignore the following section for now.1 point

If people are still having problems with the chess puzzle heres the fast/effective process again with screenshots. This is the start position, with the Timid carbink at the top, jolly at bottom and 2 supports in the middle. STEP 1: Mark their positions from above as 1, 2, 3, 4. Align all the carbinks in the 2nd row. We swap jolly one from the 4th position to the 3rd position. We setup calm mind and sharpen with the offensive ones. Double screens with the def ones. STEP 2: This is the crucial turn. Remember we're talking about their positions from above only. At this point the timid one is in 1st and jolly in 3rd position. Swap their positions. As you can see in the ss the jolly is in the 1st position now and ready to rock slide 3 ninjasks at once :). After you're done fixing their positions, now we click rock slide with the jolly one which is at the top. We calm mind up again with the timid one as theres nothing to attack infront of it. And click sandstorm, toxic with the rest 2 and the turn is done. Be very careful to direct the faces of the carbinks towards the direction of the enemies otherwise they'll hit nothing but air. STEP 3: If your rock slide hit all ninjasks there should be none left but 1 missed here in particular. It doesnt matter much. From this point we just attack whatevers in front. This might be random for each players but all with all carbinks alive and setup we're in an advantageous position. As you can see from the above 2 ss, we kept the timid in its 3rd position while we swapped the jolly from 1st to 2nd position to hit 3 targets with rock slide, these swaps help to make the process faster. I clicked rock slide again with the now 2nd position jolly one, dazzling gleam with the timid one in 3rd position, and toxic on the other two since the screens are still up. STEP 4: No ss here as its different for each one. Hit whatever infront with the offensive ones and try to move their positions for optimal damage. Spam Rock slide and Dazzling Gleam. Setup screens again for safety incase you miss attacks or the greninja dodges (Was +3 EVA for me here) STEP 5: Cleanup1 point

Like, Can we please get a new location for those stones like even a side quest with brock for the Steelix quest? Like them being locked behind excavations is bad their UU stones, time gated behind a long time gate. Here's some questions to ask, When was the last time you've seen either of them in pvp? or used in general because of their location? Like you have to choose behind pvp items / Vitamins and other good consumables or choose their stone 99.9% of the players are choosing pvp items / Consumables because their stones just aren't worth the prices. Can we get them changed to like a proper quest like all the other mega's please. 1000pts isn't worth the cost. The current location of theses stones just seems like lazy design by the cs who put it into the game. Ps, Literally the mega Steelix quest writes its self, Start of the quest talk to brock in pewter, Help brock find out whats wrong with the colony of onix, realize the crystal onix went missing, help brock and his family beat team rocket to save the crystal Onix brock awards the Steelix stone after you beat the rocket leader.1 point
